I came to Fork with a group from work. We arrived late, after typical dinner hours, and were seated promptly. The space is intimate and upscale, with a large bar anchoring the center of the room. We were seated a a large table right in the front window, which was open to let the night air in. The service was outstanding as was the food. My group was tipsy, to say the least, and our waiter was very patient, even as we stayed into their closing. The food here is excellent. They have a small seasonal menu highlighting local produce, meats, and seafood, as well as an extensive wine list. The pasta, seafood, and desserts were the standouts for me. The food was good. I'm not sure worth our $350 bill for two, though. Delivery was a fail, however. We notified our server that one of us was gluten-free secondary to sensitivity. He acknowledged this and explained that he would make sure everything was safe. Forty-five minutes later our entrée arrived with bread right on the plate. We were in for another 45-minute wait, but they rectified it by giving us someone else's order.But then they didn't deliver the rest of the food that was supposed to come with it. I asked for it, he acknowledged, then nothing. Eventually, after asking again, he brought it but we were finished with the meal. Huge disappointment, especially at this price point. Won't likely return.

Absolutely love this place! Went here for my birthday and everything was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers were my favorite part, both the quail and the lamb tartare were sooo yummy! The service was also exceptional; our waiter was super personable and was so knowledgeable about both the drink and food menus. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a more upscale restaurant!

Lovely restaurant farm to table and fresh ingredients. The scallops were seared to perfection and seasoned well. The ambiance was cozy and elegant. Our waiter was very sweet. Mountain bread was okay but the dipping sauce was very good. Small portions would order more apps.

Stopped in to grab a drink before heading to a concert. I loved the interior decor and the drink was refreshing and light. Our bartender did a great job recommending so after-concert spots to check out as well! Fork is definitely on my list for the next time I'm in Philly.

What used to be at the forefront of the Old City revival is now a classic and yet still amazingly relevant in today's constantly evolving restaurant scene. Took the kiddos for Saturday brunch last week and they loved it. The ambience is classy but casually elegant. My kids were definitely the youngest there. However, on the other side of us were a pair of seniors and then a family with teenagers. The bar was hopping with couples noshing & drinking. Service was impeccable except for the slightly snotty hostess. I think she saw me coming with a 9 & 11 year old and jumped to conclusions about our "suitability" if that makes sense.At any rate, the children behaved beautifully, the food was top notch. The wine was pricey but exquisite. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal.

This is the top three restaurants in the entire city of Philadelphia. There's nothing better than food curated by Ellen Yin & her team. She is a woman amongst women in Philadelphia, and has been an inspiration to the restaurant business for over two decades there's nothing more or better you can say about her restaurants. She is actively expanding and has been for quite some time.The food is just the best in the world. There's no restaurants, very few, that compare to her culinary mastery. This is a must go. No need to get dressed up, really, but it is always nice to look nice. So beautifully designed atmosphere, and the bar is spacious. The owner will even come over and say hello, sometimes.My humblest regards kdavid

We went here for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is in a really great spot in the city. The interior has an elegant ambience. Our server was incredibly nice, provided fast service, was accommodating, and provided really excellent drink recommendations that paired well with our food. The food was also absolutely delicious.

How does this establishment not have five stars? Impeccable service. Amazing food. Positive vibe. The nicest people you'll meet in Philadelphia. P.S. If you don't treat yourself to the sourdough starter, you're cheating yourself.

We visited Philly and had read that this is one of the great restaurants to visit. We were not dissapointed. From start to finish, our experience here was amazing. Walking in, we were greeted by a very professional and kind hostess. The ambiance was relaxed, inviting, and elegant at the same time. We sat at the bar and ordered some wines while we waited for our table to be ready. Our server, Monti (sp?), was super attentive, very friendly, and had solid recommendations, not only for the dishes and wine, but also for other restaurants to check out in Philly. The wine selection was excellent. We tried 3 wines: a brut rosado from Spain, raventos blanc from Catalunya, Spain, and a Nebbiolo field blend from Piedmont, Italy. We were really impressed with all 3 wines! We ordered the roasted beets, the cavatelli, the arctic char, and the hamburger. Everything was great, but I think the beets and the cavatelli were the standouts. Each bite was experiencing a new dish, with different combinations of bold flavors mixing into a new experience with every bite, depending on what you happened to pick up with your fork. Was super interesting, and some of the best dishes we have had. The burger was great but pretty rich and decadent. Highly recommended!
