I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Folk Art! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch; the staff were attentive, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. The food was nothing short of amazing--every dish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The ambiance of the place added to the experience with its cute, aesthetic decor and a vibe that made the afternoon even more enjoyable. It's the perfect spot for brunch/lunch whether you're with friends, family, or on a date. I can't recommend this place enough! Will definitely be returning soon.

Valet parking (Tip Based) , Cheerfully welcomed at the door! Had our puppy so we ordered to go!We both ordered the Fried Flounder sandwich with fries. The fries are house made and super tasty. I used the housemade chipotle mayo which was also good! The Fried Flounder came with arugula, tartar sauce and fried green tomato. The fried green tomato didn't add to the sandwich as it didn't necessarily melt in your mouth. There wasn't enough tartar sauce to know what it tastes like. Lastly, I didn't taste any seasoning on the flounder. Also, I tasted more of the oil it was fried in than the flounder itself. We didn't get any photos because we were starving and ordered to go. I wouldn't order the flounder sandwich again but the service was great!

I've been here twice. The first time I ordered steak and egg and honestly it was delicious. Interestingly enough, two people in my group had pretty bad food poisoning afterwards but my other friend and I were fine. I had high hope for this place. Now I just got back and probably won't come back here ever again. One of my friends ended up finding a dead roach on her plate of food. Never in my life have I ever seen a dead roach in my food up close and personal. Roaches are known to survive nuclear fallouts, so the fact that they are dead in Folk Art says something about this place... We all immediately stopped eating our food after we saw that. Now it all makes sense how my other friends got food poisoned the first time I came here, I just lucked out, but I might not get so lucky this time. Even now as I'm typing this, I feel my stomach grumbling, hopefully it's all psychological, but I guess we will find out soon. Our waitress was informed of this and was barely apologetic. She just mumbled sorry and left. She did come back later with a gift card. Didn't charge my friend, but still charged the rest of us. What a joke. You can't pay me enough to come back to this place. And to have charged the rest of us is just outright ridiculous as the presence of a single dead roach essentially ruined the meals for the entire party, not just one person. I rarely give 1-star on my Yelp reviews, but this experience definitely crossed the line.

I came here with my parents for brunch. The ambiance of the restaurant is really unique and artsy. I ordered the hot chocolate which wasn't very good and tasted watery and the quesadilla with a side of cheese grits. The quesadilla was pretty good and the cheese grits were also really good. My dad ordered blood Mary which was pretty strong and a grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup which he said was also good. My mom ordered the sweet potato beignets which did not taste at all like beignets but more like donut holes but none the less they tasted good. Our server was very nice but not the most attentive we did have to ask her for things multiple times before we got something but overall she was okay.

I decided to check this place out on a whim. The food looked good on their website and Instagram. Honestly I wasn't a fan of the food. I started with the grit fritters which were okay, I think the jam is what made me not like it. I next got the turkey sausage, tomato and spinach Benedict. I liked it but would probably would've been better without the spinach. I also decided to try the Mac and cheese which was different. I can't put my finger on it but it was okay. I also got the sausage gravy which paired well with the grit fritters. I ordered a cocktail but forgot the name - it had ginger in it which added a spiciness to it. If you like ginger then you'd like it. I ended up getting a margarita but it wasn't sweet so I didn't enjoy it. It did take a while for me to be served initially but once my waiter took my order, everything came out swiftly. The restaurant itself is a nice vibe. The food just didn't meet my expectations. There are a lot of good reviews on the restaurant so you may need to try it for yourself.

Met a friend for a walk on the Beltline followed by brunch. She chose this place as she had been to this one as well as the Decatur location. It has a neighborhood vibe, serving a diverse clientele. Young and old were present. There were mimosas and Bloody Marys all around as it was brunch. The hostess and waitstaff took great care of us as we waited to be seated. My friend had the traditional breakfast plate with eggs, toast, fruit, and veggie sausage. I had the Belgian Sweet Potato Waffle with hash browns and veggie sausage. I don't like hyperbole, but always give credit where it's due. This was one of the best waffles I've had in my life. Texture, flavor, and serving size were perfect. I'll go back again just for the waffle. I've used sweet potato in my pizza crust and like it in my tortilla chips. This made me want to create my own waffle/pancake recipe utilizing sweet potato. The menu had a lot of choices, but you may have to ask questions for vegan options. The inside was uniquely decorated with conversations going in all corners of the restaurant. Loud, but not over the top noisy. It was good for groups as well as singles and couples as there were high tops, a bar with stools, tables, and booths. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great brunch spot.

We stepped into the heart of Atlanta's vibrant Inman Park scene and enjoyed a culinary adventure at Folk Art Restaurant. Nestled amidst the urban energy, the restaurant came highly recommended, and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a street mural that sets the tone for the eclectic experience ahead. The vibe? Unmistakably cool. Our server, Cameron, not only knew the menu inside out but also shared tidbits about the area, adding an extra layer of local charm to our dining experience.Seeking gluten-free options? NP. Folk Art's got you covered with their flexible menu, ready to swap out any bread for a gluten-free alternative. I opted for the Cobb Salad, and it surpassed my expectations. It was fresh, original, and delicious. With an extensive menu boasting breakfast served all day long, the only downside was having to make a decision of what to order. Narrowing down so many delicious options was a challenge. In the end, as we said good-bye to Cameron and Folk Art, I couldn't help but wish that I lived closer. But I will be back the next time I am in Inman Park or the Old Fourth Ward.

Such a cute spot, with plenty of parking in the rear. It's well decorated, clean and has plenty of seating for a "smaller" establishment. We were greeted right away, brought water right away, without having to ask for it, which was so nice since it's 90 degrees outside. The food was served so quickly, and it's all so fresh, well plated with generous portions. Lobster rolls were to die for. Great flavors. Definitely recommend.
