Fish Tales

Trio combo platter was good. Service in the restaurant was excellent. The chicken and sausage gumbo was pretty good. When you are in Cleveland, give them a try.

I think this place got a bad rap. I would be suspicious of some of the reviews. Our fish and shrimp basket was really good. We found the catfish and shrimp very fresh and well cooked. The amount was ample (wifey and I split the basket) for a very fair price. Service was fast and friendly. What's not to like?

Their food may be great but, I won't know because their posted hours on the web and the hours posted on their door are different. The reality is that they close at 8 pm NOT 9 pm. Maybe next time Fish Tales. I drove miles to eat at your restaurant tonight only to find you closed. You should update your hours to reflect when you are actually open.

Hole in the wall and our first time here and OMG "What a catch"! From the fried Boudin balls to the fried okra, everything was on point! The blackened fish on a bed of rice was delicious! I was a little hesitant to try alligator bites but I'm so glad I did. I'm an alligator bites lover now. Never heard of fried green beans so I had to try them. Again...did not disappoint. The hush puppies alone were so delicious, it's like biting into a corn fritter ball. Yum!!!! If you haven't been here and want good food, I highly recommend. Bring the kids or hang out with friends for some good comfort food. Can't wait to come back!

Decided to give FishTales a try last night when we were kicking around ideas of where to eat. Being new to the area we heard that they were good so decided to give them a try. We selected the 10 piece catfish plate to share and it was plenty of food for us to share! Nice selection of goodies and can't wait to come back and try out more of the menu.

We arrived at 5:45 and they close at 7. If I'm not mistaken that's 1hr 15min before closing. I recently had surgery and can not have fried food so we go here because I can get the grilled chicken and coleslaw. Well tonight there was someone different and she told me no grilled food because it was to close to closing time. We won't be back.

Food was decent. Could use a little more salt on fish but it was good to me especially with the tarter sauce. The boudian balls had too much liver in it for me but my husband liked them. The gator bites were seasoned pretty well but mushiness of the center was a turn off for me. Over all I would go here again.

We stopped in for lunch and had the crawfish etouffee. The waitress was very friendly and the etouffee was excellent. I would also recommend the hush puppies.

The shrimp is fabulous, the fries are terrible, they are obviously par fried and it's not working, either taste old or served cold.

Food was good, staff was okay.. I think a lot of the food was frozen and they just fried it up is all. The theme and aesthetics of the place was pretty cute. My husband won an owl out of the claw machine.
