Fish Skillet Seafood

Pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant. The food was delicious and a good value.

I have wanted to check this place out for over a year and my sister decided to order from them because she was craving fried fish and fries. During this time of staying home we are ordering out at least once or twice a week. So why not try something nearby. To start the delivery was great! It was fast and safe. The lady who delivered our food was friendly, but more I appreciated that she was wearing a mask.The food at first glance: shrimp and catfish looked tasty, the veggies looked as they needed more seasoning and the cheesecake looked store bought. Actually eating the food changed my view on a few things. The shrimp was gross. It smelled fishy and tasted spoiled. Side note I never understood what people meant by something tasting or smelling fishy until this. The catfish was good and the hush puppies were ok, but could have come out a bit sooner. The veggies I did not eat, but my sister said they needed seasoning which I thought at first glance. Now the cheesecake surprised me as I thought it was store bought, but the crust makes me think other wise. We both really enjoyed the cheesecake I think the most. I am giving them 4 stars because I would go back and try something different and the price is perfect.

It's actually decent, I've passed it so many times and had a taste for fried seafood. No disappointments

Beyond my expectations! This fast food place is stands out from what I ever have in the past. Clean, neat place, friendly service and the food is as delicious as many big restaurants. I had the pick 2 for $8.99, couldn't ask for more. My new favorite place. I will be backk!

Tried fish skillet after hearing so many good things about them.I ordered the pick 2 option for $8.99. I picked 3 shrimp and 3 fish. It came with two side items. I got coleslaw and hush puppies.I know swai is becoming a trend so I asked if they used swai or catfish. The staff assured me they used catfish. I received some sort of fried white fish. I don't think it was swai or catfish. It had a very fishy smell to it. The fish wasn't crispy it was just hard. The shrimp were frozen breaded shrimp, like from costco. The onions in my coleslaw were brown.The hush puppies were ok. I tried it and I don't think this place is for me.

I ordered the Chicken Kebob and the fried rice was so salty. I didn't expect that cuz it looks so good to look at.

Very friendly and helpful cashier. Cashier offered suggestions and fully answered all questions. Food is very reasonably priced as per the menu. Got the grilled and blackened salmon and shrimp. Both were moist and perfectly grilled, and the gumbo which I was pleasantly surprised to be 4 . Gumbo was seasoned well. It was only missing the taste of a few ingredients that I was used to from my Creole roots.

Thought I would give this place a try seeing that it was under new management. Staff was very friendly, so no issues there. I order the cajun fried rice which was supposed to have 10 shrimp and crawfish tails in it. It only had 9 shrimp and did not have any crawfish in it at all, how do you forget to put crawfish in the rice. I call to let them know and person said I will give you extra crawfish, the next time meaning I will have to spend more money when I never received what I paid for in the first place. I wouldn't say this is a bad place, but you might wanna check your order before you leave.

Food had no flavor, rice over cooked, shrimp over cooked. Price good but nothing else.

I frequently pass in front of that restaurant until one day I decided to enter. It was a good surprise. The fish and the chips are very tasty. I totally recommend it.
