Finger Lickin Fried Thingz

I love supporting locally owned business. Their food is so good. I have been here 3 times since I found out about this place 2 weeks ago. The staff is friendly. They put life into everything they cook. Love coming here.

Worst experience ever. For the month of Feb, I decided that I would be purposeful in supporting BLACK owned food establishments. A coworker told me about this eatery on Wed. She sent me pictures from the Wake Forest location. The food was beautiful, looked clean and really enticed my taste buds. Thursday(yesterday) I rushed to the Raleigh location. The Wake Forest location served WHOLE wings/ Raleigh location party wings. The wings were over seasoned, cooked in old oil and were dark not golden brown like the picture of my co-worker food from the Wake Forest location. I find it very disheartened when there is no consistency from location to location. The Raleigh location is in "the hood" and sometime business owner tend not to do their best or serve subpar food to this population. Which is totally unacceptable. The fries was dark in color as well and also appeared to be cooked in old oil. The one saving grace was the shrimp. The shrimp was beautifully cooked and well seasoned. I will not be returning to this location. I will try the location in Wake Forest or Durham but the Raleigh location is garbage.

Great food, nice people. Very small store but, they get you in and out as fast as possible! Good Food!!

10/10 Highly recommend! This spot has been all over my social media feeds so we had to check it out. After reading the reviews we were skeptical but still wanted to decide for ourselves. This hidden gem is located inside a convenient store. In my option are the best and we were not disappointed. There is a slight wait due to food being fried to order. Our food came out piping hot! Our plates were so packed the lid didn't close. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and super crispy. We also had fish and shrimp. Whiting was moist and flaky. Shrimp equally delicious, good sized and juicy. All plates are served with 2 slices of bread, fries and a small container of coleslaw. More than enough left overs. Moral of the story, don't judge a restaurant by the review. Go see for yourself!

Wasn't what I was expecting. The chicken was awful, fish was overcooked, or just left under the light too long. First and last time.

Went to this location on 4/14 and the owner of the store they were in said they've been closed since last month. I had a good experience my first visit, but it seems that they're gone. Looks like another business bit the dust.

Good staff but the food could've been a lot better especially for the almost 30 min wait. Fish was dry/ tough and looked as if it had been sitting under the heater for a while. Wings had descent flavor but way to big so we only ate 1. Fries had absolutely no seasoning and they have no salt packets or anything.
