Fantastic bakery and butcher in Kirkwood. We have been a few times, and the pastries are fantastic. On the last trip we there was a line over 10 people deep, but it moved relatively fast and the almond croissant with poached pears was worth the wait. I also purchased some bacon and sliced turkey and both were delicious.

This is such a cute little bakery and butcher shop with a cute husband-wife story. The line for the burgers on Sunday start EARLY. We got there at 12:15 and waited an hour before we got our burgers but I think if we went any later, we might not have gotten a burger. They only make 150+ and it seemed like they were running out by the time it got to us. They turn up the burger flag at 1pm. You can still go into the bakery and order goods while you're waiting which is nice. Would recommend their cookies (very chewy!) and croissants. It does get hot outside but fortunately the line is under some shady trees...

So I had to come back JUST to do a review of this famous burger. Sundays at 1pm, thee burger is offered. Get there early as there is only a limited number. I arrived at 1pm, line was already out the door but it moved pretty quick. I'd say about 30-40 mins to get through the line. I got one of last few burger available, so you may want to arrive no later than 12:30pm to be safe. You will see the burger flag hanging outside like a bat signal. Make friends in line to pass the time! Alright now onto the burger. Honestly nothing extravagant about it, it is a simple burger with all the parts done right. The double patty is fresh & well seasoned, cheese nicely melted, the sesame bun is fresh baked, pickles are made in house, nice dice of white onion & I'm sure they make their own mayo. It is delicious, no substitutions can be made...it is meant to be enjoyed as the masterpiece it is. No fries available, which really would have been the perfect side but you can get chips. And of course the normal bakery selections are available. Honorable mention is their chocolate chip cookie - a must try. I will be back to stand in line for this $15.99 burger, expensive but it's worth experiencing.

This place is so good and I have only had their burgers. I almost don't want to post on yelp as it would let the secret out. The Sunday cheese burger is absolutely perfectly cooked meat and the brioche bun bread is delicious. It's only available Sunday afternoons and is gone by 2.30pm. Try this pick and go spot and you will not be disappointed

I didn't want it to live up to the hype bc there is some work to get your hands on one...but dang, the hype is justified. Such a delicious burger. Juicy patties, flavorful, fresh buns; certainly the best burger we've had in Atlanta so far. Their pasteries are delicious as well! We returned again on a weekday for some morning pasteries and cookies.

Okay. The Sunday cheeseburgers are no joke. For about $15-ish, you can get probably the best double cheeseburgers Atlanta has to offer. They open up the doors for the burgers at 1pm on Sunday, but you'll want to get there by 12:30. The line gets crazy. In top of that, the backed goods were incredible too. Not to mention, the staff were so pleasant, even with the extreme craziness of the burger rush. This place is such a cozy shop to come check out, and I honestly can't recommend this burger enough.

Craftsmanship is certainly on display here at Evergreen on the bakery side of the business. You walk in and are immediately in the bakery of your dreams. They have just about anything you'd want. The hardest part was stopping myself from trying one of everything. The cookie was a no-brainer selection, but the irony is, upon tasting it, it gave me galaxy-brain because this was no ordinary chocolate chip cookie, but definitely delicious one. The two croissants I got--ham & cheese and almond--were both fine. Neither of them of their respective flavors had a prominent presence and the pastry wasn't buttery nor flaky. Kouign Amann fine as well and worth trying especially if you've never had one. I got a bagel and butter too and the bagel was pretty regular. Lastly we got a breakfast sandwich which was a nice sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit. Very nice taste.I definitely need to go back and try what I missed out as well as grab a burger!

Cheeseburger Sunday!! I had no idea about this nice little corner butcher and bakery in Kirkwood, until my friend called me about cheeseburger Sunday! They only sell about 170 cheeseburgers on Sunday's beginning at 1pm. Check out their instagram for details. My friend arrived to stand in line at 11:45am and there were about 20 people in front of him. Getting there early is highly suggested. The cheeseburger was about $17 and some change. I thought it was worth it. The beef was very fresh, buns phenomenal.. like duh, it's a bakery also. So, bun, two patties, two slices of cheese, onions and pickles.. chefs kiss. I would totally eat it again if I'm in the area and the line isn't long.Overall, cool experience. Loved the ambiance. Personable employees. Zero complaints.
