Etai's Bakery Cafe

Sad news - the bakery here has been closed and there is no more indoor seating. Also, it appears that the hours of operation have been reduced.

Came here for breakfast and to get a little morning work done. I ordered a dirty Bhakti chai that sounded delicious, but didn't meet my expectations. The breakfast sandwich was good, but nothing spectacular. Staff was very friendly, so no complaints there. My biggest issue - and the reason I will not return in this COVID era - was that half of the tables were dirty and the booths seemed like they didn't regularly get wiped down. I came here 5 minutes after they opened, and I was the only one sitting down, so I can only assume the mess was from the day before... did not instill confidence in cleanliness. Bummer.

Awesome vegetarian and vegan options. I love the menu here. Everything is super delicious. Prices are actually a little cheaper than I would have thought. Maybe Because it is a counter service restaurant?? In any case, I will definitely stop in here if I'm ever in the area just because of the food quality. Everything tasted so delicious.Pros:Delicious tasting food. The avocado toast was the best I've ever had. Prices are very fair. Huge parking lot. Cons:The only one I can really think of is that it's a little hard to find because it's in a parking lot with an office building.

Their menu lists lots of fresh choices-- Offering breakfast and lunch. The gal at the counter was so welcoming & friendly. I decided on the Thai Curry Chicken Soup on the cold snowy day that it was and it warmed me right up however, it was a little salty. I would def come back and try their sandwiches as I saw a couple of neighboring tables with them and they looked very delicious.

My coworker and I loved this little gem! Not only are the salad portions huge, but the salad options themselves were great as well. My first day here I got a salad with smoked salmon, and this was super tasty with the parsley vinaigrette. We also had the hummus to share, and the pita bread was delicious and unique. The second day we came for lunch, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita bowl as a salad- how cool! It was also super delicious, and both the carrot dressing and tahini dressing were tasty. We had to get the hummus and pita again with our lunch because it was so addicting. Great find in this area of Denver.

We hit this spot before heading back to Omaha last Monday. My reason for writing this review is mainly because of the staff! One man was working the front, making coffees, taking orders, and answering the phone simultaneously (he deserves a raise!) Orders were still coming up in a timely manner, even with the lunch rush. When things got slightly behind, a woman from the kitchen began assisting in getting orders to the right people. Very happy with the food/coffee we ordered, but beyond thrilled with the individuals working there. Show love to service industry workers!! They deserve it.

Let me start with this, I cannot stand the excessive amount of temporary social trends that come up in today's world. There is one in particular that I have never respected: Avocado Toast. I mean come on people this is bread and avocado. HOWEVER, today I caved to the trends of today and bought the $6.50 Avocado Toast and was BLOWN AWAY! It is insanely delicious, ripe with vibrant flavors, cheap, and well worth the pretense. For a random cafe in North Denver's industrial district, this place is dope. I will definitely be coming back here! No picture because I obliterated the toast. My bad.

Always good wholesome food! The staff is always friendly, prompt and professional. I have been popping into this location for several years.

This place stinks. It's overpriced and the portions are small. They used to have a great French dip, but they changed their bread and now it stinks too. Soup was meh. Sides are meh. I would not recommend.

I ate here for breakfast one morning. The menu gave so many options. The food was very delicious and you could smell the fresh bread. Also had a coffee drink that was very tasty. Would definitely go back!
