Emilio's Trattoria

How lucky am I that I live so close to Emilio's that I can walk here anytime I want? Food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is so friendly. They always give great recommendations. Our appetizer of calamari and zucchini was hot and fresh and perfectly cooked. We then decided to get the seafood pasta and veal Parmesan, both recommended by the server. Both were excellent. Finally, we ended with the classic tiramisu and espresso. Everything was perfect. As always.

I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and I was so looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time! Their menu online looked amazing so I was extremely excited. We go there and we got to sit right away, the restaurant was not full so it was great! As soon as we sit someone came offering us water and brought us some bread, he was so sweet! The bread was amazing! So delicious, hot, and soft! Our server introduced himself and gave us the menu. To my surprise, some things from the menu online were different and the prices were higher than their online menu. I decided to get the gnocchis and to my luck, they didn't have any, so I ended up having the same sauce for the gnocchis but with linguine. It was good and creamy but nothing out of this world. I did find it a little pricey for pasta that wasn't made in-house. My boyfriend got the chicken Milanese and it was huge!

AMAZING fettuccine Alfredo hands down !!!! Service is extremely good and chill ambience. This is a to go plate I can't imagine what it's like inside oh my god don't miss it. INCREDIBILI fettuccine Alfredo a mani basse !!!! Il servizio è estremamente buono e l'atmosfera rilassante. Questo è un piatto da asporto, non riesco a immaginare com'è dentro, oh mio dio, non perderlo.

My girlfriend and I came here for a date and loved this place. We ordered a few of the specials. First was the grilled octopus and it was probably the best cooked octopus I've had. Then we ordered lamb tagliatelle and red snapper paired with risotto. Both were hits. Definitely recommend Emilio's for a quiet dinner. We shared a bottle of wine that very good and reasonably priced. Overall great experience

Adding to my collection of Italian restaurant reviews, I bring you Emilio's Trattoria (should I catalog every Italian place in South Florida :)? ) It's a cozy spot right on Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor's main strip, and next to another pleasant dinner out. I arrived early enough that I was the first diner for the evening and had a corner table, just like a Don. I was in the mood for soup, and had ordered the pasta fagioli - my usual - but was pleasantly surprised by my waitress' substitution to their soup of the day, carrot puree. It was nicely blended while maintaining richness in flavor and a subtle sweetness. Throw in some pieces of their rustic toasted bread if you want some substance. Their chicken parmesan, duh, was seasoned with a tasty and full bodied marinara sauce. While thinly cut, the size of the chicken breast was really generous. Instead of pasta, I enjoyed a side of nicely aromatic oven roasted potatoes. Dessert was an apple pastry a la mode with a mixed berry glaze. The crust was nicely thin, allowing me to enjoy the actual fruit flavor. Coffee was my beverage of choice and the wait staff kept my cup full. Another great hidden find in the area!

The food delicious and the portions huge .I ate lasagna , the best in long time , I ca not eat all it is too much . Fry calamari and zucchini's large portion. The service espectacular, super friendly but profesional . The ambience nice with good music . We have to return .

I've been wanting to try the different restaurants on this street... while walking down with a couple friends we saw dishes coming out to a table outside and had to sit down and try! We weren't disappointed! I had the special branzino with risotto it was light and tasty! My friend had the bolognese which tasted just the way you'd want a bolognese to be. And the bread! OMG! I couldn't stop eating it! The waiters were extremely friendly, attentive and fast! There's usually easy street parking. I'll definitely be going back!

Very good Italian family style food. Great service. Vibe is quiet, there is a nice patio.

very disappointed on our first time dinner at Emilios. . .(Sunday-6,^PM) . as far as ambiance- awful, noisy loud party , long wait for food, then when it came was cold., server overwhelmed,(but tried) my order overly salty & cold, but the overcooked fish was replaced with very tasty nicely done order. Not a relaxing dinner to be sure. Soft Italian music would be nice if you could have heard it . Prices didn't match the restaurant. (Bus Boy needed! ) R.Kruger, Bay Harbor Island
