Go on Thursdays for delicious birria tacos. It's a bit salty, but these are still top tier tacos. The meat is very rich, and I love how they crisp the shell. Andddd where else can you get a $9 margarita? Other honorable mention - steak Mulita. Just go, thank me later. Free parking & other breweries to visit. Picnic style sitting inside & out. Also has couches & tvs inside. Friendly service.

This place has a very nice vibe, especially for a spring-summer evening. While the restaurant is inside a building, most people prefer to sit outside on picnic benches or stand on tall tables. We ordered different varieties of tacos and a burrito to try, and everything tasted really nice. The nacho with salsa and guacamole were probably my favorite. The salsa had a nice kick to it, without being too spicy. The service took a little while, but considering the sheer number of people there, I think that was to be expected. But apart from that, it's a great spot to hangout with friends and family.

My visit to El Tesoro was a culinary delight from start to finish. I decided to go for the burrito with chips, and boy, was I impressed! The burrito was not only amazing and delicious but also massive in size. I practically had to roll out of there because I was so stuffed after devouring it. It's safe to say that El Tesoro knows how to serve up some seriously satisfying grub.Located within a food hall housing three different restaurants, El Tesoro offers a unique dining experience. The outdoor seating area was an absolute gem, adorned with charming lights, comfortable chairs, and even a bonfire. The lively atmosphere was infectious, with kids and dogs running around, creating the perfect ambiance for a weekend night out with friends or family. While the service was a tad slow, especially on a busy weekend, it was understandable given the bustling crowd. Besides, the friendly staff more than made up for any wait time with their warm hospitality and attentiveness. Plus, finding parking was a breeze, which is always a plus when exploring new dining spots. Overall, El Tesoro exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and convenient location. I'll definitely be back for more of their mouthwatering offerings.

First time, this was our first stop of the tasting. Great service, friendly server, very chill place, and the service was fast. We ordered 5 different beers, wine, and a soup.We were not disappointed. Loved the decor which was rustic and welcoming for small or large groups. We would recommend sipping your way to this location .

Going just based off of the Pozole, wow 5 out of 5! So flavorful! Rich deep marinated flavors on the meat. Served with avocado is great for a cool down. Plenty of cilantro and meat. Would recommend ! Esp on a nice cold day. Friendly staff who are very helpful! Fast service and plenty of chairs. Bring a group!

This is a newer location in West End.The service was deplorable. You order at the bar, get a table number, and wait for your food, either outside or inside. There was a huge line of about 20 people and only one slow, slow cashier in her early 20s. Another employee stood next to her but there was no alleviation of the line. Why it took two employees to take an order is beyond me. We waited 30 minutes in line and 40 minutes for our food. We didn't want to go elsewhere and so we stuck around. My friend and I ate outside on a bench. The exterior ambiance was nice, with a good number of people. My friend ordered a quesadilla and I ordered the tostones + guac and a soy chorizo burrito. The food was incredibly good. Both entrees came with a tongue-searing green sauce, which I loved but how do non-ethnic people do it?! I went inside to the counter and got more. They also use the cheapest possible plasticware that has a hole in the handle part of the knife to be eco-friendly but so far from practical. My friend's knife broke in half trying to cut his quesadilla. On a Thursday night it was packed, and it took us 10 minutes to find parking in a massive parking lot (just do an aerial view on Google and you'll see what I mean...). I can't imagine what it is like on a Friday or Saturday night. And I won't go to find out.

Terrific food. I have been to both locations and while on a scaled down version (likely either bc the location is newer or the kitchen is small) the things they do they do well. Also, let's be clear - first and foremost this is Wild Heaven's Brewery first and foremost. I have had tacos and really enjoyed them as well as the guacamole. Chips are fresh. Some have complained about parking. El Tesoro is inside of Wild Heaven and there's about 5 breweries in the Lee+White Complex, multiple restaurants and bars. Also, it's next to the Westside Beltline. Several groups park at Lee+White to walk/run/bike on the trail. Lastly, parking is free. Rarer and rarer in Atlanta these days given the ease of parking apps. Some have also complained about wait time. It's a small kitchen in a brewery. In the neighborhood, our businesses max the use of the space. One consequence is a restaurant inside a brewery will have a kitchen that can't meet the demand as fast as a full service restaurant. This is likely why the menu is more limited vs El Tesoro's other location. So yes, plan to wait.Others complain there are no margaritas. Well, Lee+White is open container. Go to Boxcar or HopCity and get a margarita across the street. Bring it back over to Wild Heaven and enjoy it with your El Tesoro food. It's tough because El Tesoro is inside a brewery. Wild Heaven did just start selling wine, though. And perhaps they'll sell margs soon enough. In summary, great food inside of a brewery that is part of Lee+White. The entire complex is open container, other places sell margaritas. And if you want El Tesoro to go with your beverages the small kitchen means you'll likely have to wait. And if you like tacos and the like, the wait will be worth it.

I don't think this location lives up to the original. They don't have margaritas and the food was dry. The salsa saved it in my opinion. Service is ordering at the counter like the original and ambiance is ok. The room you sit in is just picnic tables and loud music.

30+ mins for a burrito. Server got annoyed I asked about the status of my food around the 28 minute mark.

Avoid El Tesoro! I've been going there for a year ordering a vegan burrito that they only just now told me has chicken stock in the rice. Maybe you aren't vegan, so you don't care about this. But it shows a lack of knowledge, food safety, competence, respect, accountability, professionalism, etc. They don't even know a chicken isn't a vegetable- do you trust them to make your food??
