El Super Pan is a great counter service restaurant in the Battery that offers to-go, dine in, or bar seating. Even on game day, service was not only fast but full of Southern hospitality. I tried the Cuban sandwich with plantains - both delicious, although quite pricey for the portion size. A great place to stop in for classic Latin favorites.

Food was great! So was Teddy our waiter! The salad base was delightful in their bowls. Tofu a little salty but I'd get it again! Chips and tomato app was DELISH!

Sat at the bar. Food was not so good (the habenero wings were almost flavorless, while the monfongo was interesting as it was green and not fried). The drinks were decent though, shout out to bartender Justin.

I was walking around and I saw the restaurant and I had to try their food. I walked in and the hostess was very nice and personable. The bartender was great and very fast and accurate. Her name was Christine or something like it. I tried the ropa vieja because being from Miami, I would like to try another variation. The ropa vieja was a bit salty and normally it is not the way that it is served. The meat was dried or no stew and it did not come with plantains which is not the normal. I have to comeback on a Friday or Saturday night because they have a live band.
