El Molcajete Taco Truck

**This review is 3.5 stars but since we are unable to do half stars, I will give it 3.**Ordered 3 tacos, 2 to 3 tacos is enough for one per depending on how hungry you are. I chose an Al Pastor, Asada and Chorizo taco and ordered these all the way.For $2/taco you get your choice of meat with onions and cilantroFor $2.50/taco you get it all the way which is your choice of meat with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and avocadoUnfortunately the pork and steak were very dry which is the driving factor behind my 3 star review. The Chorizo taco had great flavor though. I would definitely like to give this food truck another shot!

I think I stumbled upon this amazing gem by accident and I'm so glad I did! I was always curious as to why there seemed to be a food truck at my apartment complex and finally had the chance to check them out tonight.The food is so delicious! I literally just finished my Al Pastor quesadilla and had to write a review! The Al Pastor is marinated pork and I was a bit skeptical to have it in a quesadilla but I was told its good so I decided why not? SO glad I got it! Not only is the pork tasty and juicy, there's so much of it! I loved that they did not hold back on their portions and after just one quesadilla (at $5) I'm satisfied. It came with a side of spinach, tomatoes, avocados (no extra charge yay!!) and topped with some cheese and cream. Really good stuff! Great customer service! They were really nice and friendly even though I was awkwardly staring at their menu for awhile. They had a variety of meats to choose from and had other options which I'll have to try next time. It was super quick service as well! The only downside is that they didn't have seating available but considering it's cold, I was okay with taking it home. Definitely recommending this food truck to everyone! Great food, great price and quick service? Can't get better than that with me!Side note: they are at Berkshire Manor West (off 54) every Tuesday night!

"El Molcajete Santiago" is straight-forward taco truck. You get two corn tortillas lined with a bit of whatever main ingredient you want and have it garnished with minced sweet onion, some garnish, and either green/red salsa and/or "guacamole" goo. A friend rented the whole truck for a night and we got to order whatever we wanted. So we did. Boy did we. My son and I ate everything. If it wasn't rude to drink all the salsa from the squeeze bottles, I would have done that too. So simple. Straight forward. Simply well-executed truck-based tacos. You really couldn't ask for better than this. And for the record, my son and I had 10 tacos. Top varieties: Carnitas, Al Pastor, Asada, and Chicken. This is one of the only version that I have liked in a decade. Not overly pineapple-y. If you got a fiver in your pocket - you've gone a meal. If you've got $10, you've got a banquet.

I'm not FOR sure of the truck #, but this one was at the A BMTC today. The smell was awesome. My husband had a STEM cell transplant 16 days ago. He really doesn't have much of an appetite. So today when we arrived for his daily treatment, there sat this taco truck. After about an hour he said I could eat a soft race. So off I went to get him something he thought he could eat. I ordered him 2 soft carne asada tacos, and myself the 2 soft tacos carne asada and 2 al pastor's. We both enjoyed them very much. The meat was tender and hot and good. Hopefully I will find this taco truck ahai

Great little place. Legit, authentic Mexican food. Fast, friendly service. Open late. Within walking distance of Franklin Street. Open late.I had two gorditas. I was very hungry. I was not disappointed. Good food. Skip the Wendy's run and check this place out.

I hope I'm writing this review for the correct food truck. This food truck was in Raleigh last night outside House of Hops. The guy taking the order was super nice. We ordered two al pastor and two carne asada tacos to start with only onions and cilantro. We both decided the carne asada was much better than the al pastor. We thought the al pastor needed some more pineapple and flavor. We then decided to get a quesadilla with carne asada of course. It was so cheesy and delicious. It was the perfect combination with our beers for dinner that evening.

This Place is as good as it gets for Mexican food, it is true authentic Mexican with great prices! Super nice family who runs the truck, They make their own fresh salsa! And they are super clean! Who can beat that?

I needed to secure lunch at a job site for vendor appreciation. The response from Ramon was immediate. As he also serves breakfast, he let me know up front he may be a few minutes late. He was early, 110% prepared, the food was amazing...fresh and excellent quality. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their lunch. Ramon takes great pride in his craft and ensuring every detail is covered. If you need an on site breakfast or lunch truck, I highly recommend these guys.

We had booked them for our rehearsal dinner, but on the night of, they were a no show! We were super disappointed and had lots of hungry guests! The owner did not bother to call me and when my wedding coordinator reached out, they said they had broken down on the side of the road, but I'm not sure if I believe that because, again, they never called! We were lucky to have Ulvia's Mexican Restaurant nearby who swiftly made 100 delicious tacos for our guests.

Food was very good! Portion sizes were great and the cost was very reasonable. Customer service is spot on! Very nice people.
