We had a few good experiences here, decent food, good service and reasonable prices, so while we were in the area we dropped by. We were seated quickly which was great, got water, chips and salsa right away, but then we seemed forgotten. Finally got our order in and food came in a reasonable time. Sadly the food was rather bland this time. Enchiladas were in a red sauce, but just flavorless. Chili Relleno was okay and the taquito was the best thing on the plate. Kind of meh meal. Probably should have gone w fajitas. It's a good, local restaurant, nicely decorated and clean, just not a place we'd go back to with other, better tasting Mexican food around.

Wow. What a find!Large restaurant with plenty of seating. Waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering their recommendations to us. The chicken burrito plate comes with beans and rice (pretty standard) and was pretty tasty. My friends had the fajitas (recommended), chicken tacos, and veggie burrito. Everyone loved their food. The waitress kept our chip basket full too which was nice. Went on a Sunday around 12:30 and had a wait time of about 15 minutes. Clearly a very popular restaurant with good reason!

Was in this area and looking for a Mexican restaurant and this came up with high reviews. We went and it's a nice spot very decorative of a typical Mexican restaurant. Waiter was quick with taking order and got our food pretty fast. I usually go for cheese enchiladas and these weren't bad. I wish I got more rice to bean ratio. They had nice large size margaritas. The chips were hard and cold - wish they warmed them up a bit but the salsa has some HEAT. If I come to this area again will try other things again.

We ordered door dash from El Mirador while staying the night in the area and honestly it was pretty great! We chose this place because they had a hamburger on the menu which is what our kiddo really wanted, and since we were hamburgered out, it gave us some great alternatives. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and tasted great. My only critique is that the house salsa was a bit on the spicy side for our whole family, but it had good flavor, and we really appreciated having good Mexican food after experiencing some pretty sub par Mexican cuisine in South Dakota earlier in our trip.

I really liked this place, I can see why it's so busy!! We came around 12:10 (Prime time) the place was packed. However they were able to get us seated in about 10 minutes.They immediately give you chips and salsa, and the salsa has a great flavor. The food came out pretty quickly (Under 15 minutes) and it was delicious.I really liked my NY steak & shrimp it was very flavorful, and my wife loved her pozole. We had to try this spot because whenever we drive by it's so busy.The have plenty of seating, the place is a big Mexican restaurant. There's a lot of entrees to choose from, the prices are reasonable. Servers check on you multiple times.I have nothing negative to say. I will add to crowd and come back from time to time. Recommended and happy eating!

The food is as authentic as you can get outside Mexico or So Cal. I always test out new restaurants by getting a Chili Relleno. If they can do that well then they can make anything else on the menu. This place was good! They stuff it with Jalapeños so I still can't eat the whole thing from the heat but it's made perfectly. We come back here every time we're in town. This time I was smart and got a 32oz salsa to go so we can have it the rest of the month. If you're looking for authentic food that has spice, look no further.

I guess we have never been here in the evening. Place was packed, no parking, no open tables. 25 minute wait, right on the money, 25 minute wait! Food was outstanding and service was on point. I liked anything I've ever ordered here. I think we'll just stick with lunch time

Tasty! The wait tho... I mean, expect a solid 30-45 min wait. Girlfriends and I came here for dinner- my latina friend loved it and is planning to come back ASAP for breakfast. I got chicken mole- it was good! But not super memorable.I will have to come back when I'm not the driver so I can try their drink menu- so many fun options!

Food: Pretty good. I had the tacos Al carbon, it was different, but in a good way! The bacon on top of it was really amazing, because it's bacon! The chili con queso was also soooo good, they used real cheese and it was soooo cheesy.Service: Ok, they were pretty stingy on the chips, and didn't give them to us in the beginning. They were nice though.Ambience: Classic Mexican interior, pretty busy, etc.Overall: Pretty good, I think the service was what made me give it a 4 star review.

Worst customer service ever! I ordered fajitas without peppers. The waiter brings out fajitas with peppers. When I told him that I ordered fajitas without peppers he starts arguing with me and tells me that I never said that. My friend confirmed that I did ask for no peppers & he continued to argue. I asked for the manager & said he was the manager. Stay away from this place. I worked in customer service and in my book this is completely unacceptable! I realize that our order was complicated because my friend had Celiac disease. We were prepared to tip extra because of it.
