I'm a dessert freak, so I will start off by saying they have one if the best fried ice creams I have had, and I have had many. On to the food. I had the carnita plate. Very good carnitas but I had a big chunk of fat, that turns me off. The green Chile sauce on top was tasty I would have liked a little more. The rice and beans were also good, cooked just right and flavorful. My daughter had the posole, she said it was ok, she's had better. She likes it a little spicier. I tasted it, it did lack a little flavor.The waitress was attentive and friendly, got our orders right. We'll be back.

I use to love this place but the food has gone downhill. And the service, what service? I've been there a few times lately and I can't even get someone to serve us drinks let alone take our order. Their sewer smells awful too which is a big turnoff. I still think their salsa is the best I've ever had but lord, a large pop size cup is 13 bucks!? Hard to swallow spending that much even when it's so good.I'm really disappointed in this place; I use to take all my friends and family here but now I avoid it.

New favorite breakfast joint to pick up before heading up the mountain. Got a fully loaded burrito that is too messy to eat on the drive, but perfect to eat when you get to the resort waiting for first chair. Got another burrito handheld with egg, bacon and cheese with the potatoes on the side. Crushed that one on the way! Good price, fast online order, and perfect start for a day of boarding

Was talking to an Uber driver about Mexican food once and he insisted I have to try El Fogon as it's his favorite in town. We finally made it in on Friday night recently and it was ok. Now I have to say I compare everything to my favorite Mexican restaurant in Aurora that sadly we moved rather far from, so it's really hard for any Mexican restaurant to compete with that. But let me go into a little detail. Margaritas- good, tried the Corona marg and it wasn't quite my cup of tea (marg) the beer wasn't flowing into the marg so I made the mistake of emptying the whole thing in and then it just tasted like watered down carbonated marg, not the restaurants fault but just an FYI if you are like me and haven't tried this. Alfie ordered a mango marg on the rocks and it was rather sweet but luckily the saving Grace was the tajin rim, but that required a lick of the spice mix with every sip to help cut the sweetness. Though I will say with the Tajin it was quite good, spice and mango is an excellent combo. If they just cut back the sweetness a touch it could be great. I also ordered a Cadillac marg after my corona one and it was good, there was just something lacking that I couldn't quite place my finger on...too much lime juice maybe I don't know. Either way would I drink them again, yes I am a trash panda when it comes to cocktails I'll drink pretty much anything lol, but am I dreaming about them...not exactly. Now onto the food. Chips and salsa were good. Pretty sure they blend up Bell Pepper in their salsa which I'm sure plenty of people like. Though I like pretty much every pepper out there Bell Pepper is like the only one I don't and I picked up on that flavor immediately. Still ate it though, and what I did appreciate is there was a little hint of heat in the salsa. I feel like too many places are scared to put any heat in their house salsa for all those spice babies out there so when I place toys on the brink of adding literally anything above mild I commend them!! We did however ask for a spicer hot sauce, which the lady insisted to be careful as it was very hot...it was in fact NOT very hot but I nice kick of heat. Again luckily of us and our leftovers we have quite the array at home. It was good flavor though and did add some heat just not the amount I was looking for. As for the combination plates, they were good. One thing I found odd that if you don't choose one of their pre chosen combo plates there aren't many meat options on the combo plate. You've got a chicken flauta and I think a beef taco but that's about it. Otherwise you are limited to bean (burrito or tostada) cheese enchilada, or crispy Chile relleno. I went Relleno, Fauta, and Bean Burrito. They were all good, just not the best. Still dreaming of you favorite Mexican spot in Aurora. I think it was the sauce that covered the items, It was a bit heavier maybe and not as flavorful as I am used to? I don't know. Either way, it was good. I don't want you to mistake the 3 stars as being bad. I view 3 stars as average, in the middle, not great, not bad but would come back. That's how I felt about this spot. I would come back, but it's not at the very top of my list. I will say I saw someone order fajitas and they looked and smelled bomb. Would probably try those next Time.

I don't recommend this place I went on Saturday for breakfast wasted about 30 Dollars and then 3 days later I get to find out they kept my card information and charged me 168$ worth of liquor I called the restaurant to talk to the manger and a worker said they can't give me the manger's number for me to contact them about my issue instead she said that I have to wait till Friday that they are there I would have to go to talk to them in person and hung up very rude twice Very unprofessional

If I could give 0 stars I would, I went to eat breakfast with my husband we only got 2 breakfast plates and payed $30 with card. Come to find out 3 days later they recharged me $168. And put that we bought liquor, I tried to call the restaurant but the ladies that answered were rude and just told me to deal with it and hung up. Worst customer service ever. If you go pay with cash and not card cause they will keep your card info and charge you later on for things you never got.

The service is horrible, We were not greeted at all and were told to close the door very rudely by servers we ended up leaving. Rude management and wait times are ridiculous with half the restaurant being empty. Save your money and your time.

I was visiting this restaurant for the very first time with my girlfriend.Not recommend restaurant!horrible service, i am a person with a disability in my legs, therefore i have a lot of pain. i waited for my food which by the way takes a long time!. finally when they brought the food i couldn't take the pain. i asked the person who was attending us, to put it for us to take, she refused to do it! i definitely do not recommend this racist place towards people with disabilitiesEstaba visitando este restaurante por primera vez con mi novia.No recomendado.servicio horrible, soy una persona con una discapacidad en las piernas, por lo tanto, tengo mucho dolor. ¡Esperé mi comida que, por cierto, lleva mucho tiempo! . finalmente cuando trajeron la comida no pude soportar el dolor.
