El Floridita Seafood Restaurant - Coral Way

I have been to the other Floridita locations but first time at this one. We were seated promptly. The restaurant had updated decor. My husband and I ordered beers to start and they were ice cold. We started with the bacalao croquettes and the steamed mussels. The croquettes were yummy. The muscles were OK. They were a little bland. for our main, we did the combo meal that starts off with the soup. I had to check in my husband had the fish we both enjoyed. For our the chicken breast and my husband had fried fish chunks. Both portions seem pretty small in comparison to prior visits. The food was OK. The service was OK. It could've been better.

Sigh.... So many things wrong. Let's begin with service. It was lack luster. Our waitress didn't smile or say anything like welcome it was "ya estan listos" "Que quieren" I hate that! Cafeteria style service at high end restaurant prices. How about welcome. Is it your first time here? Thank you for joining us tonight. My name is..... Can I get you started with some drinks and appetizers? Let me tell you the specials of the day are. Nope! That's didn't happen. When you go out to dinner on a Saturday night that is basic service 101- you need to seriously look into this. Que quieren is embarrassing. I ordered the ceviche it was tasteless. Super bland. Probably the worst I've ever had. We had to pay for bread and butter. It $2.50 for 4 small rolls and a dash of seasoned butter. This was shocking. If your going to pay for bread then let it a proper amount. Not tiny baby nuggets. We ordered a bottle of wine and the pargo entero frito which I shared with my husband. That was its only saving grace. Fish was seasoned well and fried perfectly. Great job there. I also ordered pasta with chicken with pink sauce to take home for my daughter. She said omg mom this is tasteless. She threw it away. $140 down the drain. I won't return. 3 stars is very kind. Here's a tip - service needs a major overhaul and desperate training. Don't charge for bread if your giving small portions like this. Fix the ceviche and fix your pasta dishes. Season the chicken. Salt pepper and garlic on chicken easy!

I've been here several times. They have great dinner and lunch specials. The service is good too. Their food sometimes I feel needs a little more flavor but other then that it's a nice spot to enjoy with the family. I love their croquetas. I do find that they don't give enough ravioli. So if you do go and you're hungry make sure not to get the lobster ravioli.

Food is was fresh yeah but I was expecting some different I can eat the same in la granja I'm more sorry Floridita is just a name

Food is great, ambiance great and so is the service. Staff is great and accurate.The food tastes fresh and flavorful.It is pricey but because the food is great, generous portions and great service I will gladly pay their prices.I come often and will continue to do so

This is our go to for seafood .. we go at least once a month and the food and service are top notch

Food is, well food, nothing out of this world. Servers are friendly and the croquet's are ok. Everything else is, let's say common Cuban food with nothing special to it.

Amazing food and service. The restaurant is clean and ambiance second to none. Victor the manager is always walking around , making sure everyone is enjoying the food, appetizers or drinks .
