Came here to celebrate my birthday with my family on a Monday night. We were seated immediately and they had enough room for our group of 6 (including 2 kids). The interior decor was vibrant and fun, and made for great photo ops!Service was great and attentive! Drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic) came out quickly and the chips and salsa came to the table within minutes. I was impressed! All of the food came out delicious and tasted very fresh! They have great options for kids as well!

I took my family for some dinner. We were quoted 30 minutes when we arrived and waited outside on the sidewalk for our table. Pleasantly surprised to be called 18 minutes later. The restaurant was lively. It was clean and ambience was good. We got chips and salsa to munch on while we waited for our food. Sorry.. didn't get pics of the food because we were hungry and jumped right in. Food did take a little long but that's normal with a packed house. Everyone enjoyed their food. Taste, portion size and quality of food were all good. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect review. My poor server had too many tables and they weren't close together. We waited about 15 minutes after our main course to order dessert because our server had not come around. And then waited another 15 minutes after finishing our dessert to ask for our checks. The server was awesome, not her fault. Overall, I recommend trying this place if you like flavorful food with a good atmosphere.

Forgive me, I dug in before I took this picture :D. Overall, a great experience. There was a 30 minute wait on a Saturday night--nothing too crazy. I do wish there was more seating for those waiting. We have an infant that we had to hold while standing. There were only two seats for people waiting. I recommend another bench or two somewhere inside or out.The food was great, and the portions were perfect. I finished my plate, but felt satisfied. My only critique is that the queso dip is on the small side. Usually you get double the amount for $5 at other places. The free salsa was great though, and somewhat made up for it. Pricing on the other food seemed mostly on par with other Mexican restaurants. Maybe slightly higher overall, but nothing too much to worry about. The place is new so everything is new and clean, which is always a plus. We're likely to visit again.

El Cantarito Bar & Grill is a new Mexican spot that has opened up in Downtown Fuquay. My mom and I dined in for lunch and had a good experience. I started off with a beer then a margarita. We split the queso then I ordered the lunch chicken chimichanga. The food, drinks and service were all good.

Loved it! We went with friends who had a good experience previously. We all loved the food, the salsa, queso, and guacamole were perfect. Only downside was the service. Our food came out in stages so 3/4 had our food and finally we got the 4th. We'll be coming back though and hopefully the service will be better.

Yummy Mexican food and margaritas. It's almost always a wait and line standing outside but it's nothing too too bad. Decently sized portions and prices are typical of small town Mexican restaurant prices. Our waitress suggested the passion fruit margarita and as someone who already loves them it was great, even as regular. I love that waitstaff specifies house or topshelf. I cannot confirm what price difference between the two choices is. For chips and salsa I can saw the salsa is very good and tasty not spicy at all. The chips, as stated in other reviews, are pretty bland I would have loved some like salt or something but by a few margaritas, they are perfect snackies. Our entrees were the carnitas street tacos and I had the camarones pezucal. Both our entrees were good. The shrimp entree I can tell is cooked with skewers and I'd love the option to have it served as such. It was a perfect char on the red/green peppers. My only critique is to not put avocado on the sour cream. It's not explicitly stated on menu ingredients so it's a bit off putting. The interior design is so cute. It's something I'd definitely say took time and wasn't thrown together. Overall the restaurant even in busyness looked clean and well kept.

This new restaurant is lovely! We went around 3 pm, had no wait time and food came fast. Between La Ventura and Rainbow Paradise (alcohol drinks), La Ventura was my favorite. The Fiesta Nachos were good too. The wait time around dinner time is insane because everyone wants to try this new place so bring your patience!

Great food and service - chips and salsa get refilled which is good because we can't get enough of their salsa. The house margaritas are really good!
