Ed your staff and food is amazing. Staff are always professional and food is constantly on point. I only order breakfast. The whole breakfast menu is great my favorite are the pancakes.

A classic country breakfast in the heart of Angier! I love the biscuits and gravy and the overall ambiance. Great, fast service.

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner since another just down the street we wanted to try was closed. This is a family style sit down restaurant so you are going to have people who love it or don't. Usually this is they type of. restaurant I would pick for breakfast. The dinner menu had a good selection of items, but you can also order off the lunch menu if you are interested in sandwiches and burgers. Our party of 5 had everything from salad and soup, mozzarella sticks, chicken fried steak and scallops. Staff was friendly, plenty of seating and price reasonable. Ratings for our party range from 2 to 4 stars so I settled with 3 average.

If you are looking for a local mom and pop shop, this is the place to come! The southern breakfast food tastes just like it was made fresh from grandmas. Everyone at our table was pleased with their selection. Another great feature of this place is that it is full of locals. I was visiting in the area and it was so fun to be able to observe how each of the regulars were greeted and treated like family. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place for brunch. The diner is old fashioned and the staff is very friendly and efficient with service.

Came here over a year ago July 24th 2021 to be exact the morning we moved into our new home here In Fuquay-Varina NC, Only 6 mins. My wife and I really enjoyed it the food was delicious, tasty everything was perfect the waitress was amazing, the environment was pleasant everyone was friendly, smiling etc. My only critique was the coffee was very very weak it tasted like water, I asked the waitress if could some instant coffee added to my coffee and she said I'll make a fresh new pot and I'll add more coffee to the pot, she came back with new cup & coffee sadly it was the same tasting cup. I would definitely recommend this place. We will be back again soon!

I've never been out with the family, and left after paying and said, " that was a really good meal!" And he'd everyone in the car, wife and kids, reply yes. Someone has always disagreed or replied with, I wasn't happy with... UNTIL TODAY! This place deserves 6 stars, unfortunately will only get 5. The staff was excellent but I won't add that to the review. The home fries were not overly oiled, the eggs were runny as requested-and if you like them then you know. The place was packed, the staff had accents and everything was incredible!!!This is the place. Stop in and eat!!!! 5 stars!!!

Great place for a quick, local meal. They are open for dine-in (please note that the employees unfortunately do not wear masks). We were in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. We were greeted by welcoming employees and seated right away. Soon after, we received drinks and placed our orders. Our plates were quickly assembled and brought out (BLT, chicken salad sandwich, BBQ pork, and ham and cheese sandwich). Our waitress was efficient and attentive. Overall, the meal was nothing special, but it was delivered quickly and satisfied our hunger. Our favorites were the ham and cheese sandwich and the tater tots. The coleslaw was too sweet for our preference.I would recommend this restaurant to others!

We love to go to Ed's! It is like going to see family! The food is good the servers are friendly and the atmosphere is like love is in the air! It is the home town restaurant!
