Liked * Liked * Liked * Liked * Liked * Liked * Liked * Liked * Bar atmosphere was cool and service was too Broccolini Shrimp Tapa: The sauce and crouton was tasty, this was a good dishOld Fashion Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked -Disliked - Disliked -Very limited menu and not many meatless dishes even the veggies had meat in it. The menu is clear and easy to read but I had to ask questions because I couldn't tell what was a salad, vs side vs pasta vs flatbread. If I hadn't asked questions I might have ordered something completely different than what I expected

I came by after work with a few friends for happy hour, but made a reservation just in case as we had a party of 4.We got to Ecco and I mentioned we had a reservation for happy hour. Happy hour was only at the bar so we sat there, but taking a look at the limited menu, we decided we would just do the normal menu. Here is when it started going downhill real fast: we got up and asked the hostess if we could get a table since we were no longer doing happy hour. The hostess definitely had an attitude and asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge area at the front and we said sure. She then proceeded to sit us at the VERY back of the restaurant right next to the curtain at the very back as there was a private event going on. Mind you it is a sizable restaurant with maybe 6 people in the restaurant at this time. It made zero sense to sit us at the very back when she just asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge area at the very front? My friend went up to ask the hostess to be moved as we found the private event behind the curtain to be loud, the curtain was moving, it was incredibly dim, and the restaurant was nearly empty. My friend who spoke to the hostess said she was incredibly rude and demeaning and said nothing could be done...in an empty restaurant. Few moments later, the manager came out and asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge ...which is where they asked if we wanted to sit in the first place. After that ordeal, we were finally seated at a table and got to order. The service from there on out was not pleasant and we really just wanted to leave. I ordered the patatas bravas and fried goat cheese. The patatas bravas were incredibly greasy and you can see in the image a pool of grease before I even started eating. They definitely made me a bit queasy with how greasy these were. The fried goat cheese was the only redeeming factor of this place. They burned my friend's pizza so she had to wait after all 3 of us got our food and the pizza she was served was still pretty dark. Portions for pizza and pasta here were small and mediocre. After receiving the poor service and food here, I would never come back and argue this is the worst place in Midtown!

Grabbed a quick dinner and was surprised by the quality of the food here. The steak was so well seasoned. And the pizza was deliciously garlicky, thin and airy, and balanced flavor. Will be back!

This is a different restaurant post pandemic. It's not for me. The food was not tasty. The bravas were not good and it's one of their more popular dishes. The restaurant industry is not the same.

Came here with a girlfriend over a quick trip to Atlanta. Such a neat environment and lots of variety on the menu. Got the charcuterie, and sat at the bar for appetizers!! Would recommend for anyone traveling to midtown.

I had gotten a giftcard for my birthday to spend at a Fifth Group restaurant, so we decided to check out Ecco! We made a reservation for a Friday evening and were seated pretty much immediately. There's parking along Cypress that's pretty easy through ParkMobile. The restaurant has such a cool vibe inside and is super intimate and cozy. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table and decided to order everything family-style. Our waiter was super helpful with recommendations. We got the charcuterie board, fried goat cheese balls, the speck flatbread, agnolotti, patatas bravas, and spaghetti al Nero. The fried goat cheese balls lived up to the hype and were absolutely the highlight of the meal!! The rest of the food was absolutely delicious and the perfect portions for 4 people to share. Overall, really cool dinner spot and really great food! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Love love love. We made a reservation for a Friday evening and we were seated upon arrival. They have parking along cypress street which was an easy pick and quick walk!We got a bottle of wine for the table and they have some bread as well. All of the wait staff was extremely nice!We got a bunch of plates to share including the charcuterie board and friend goat cheese as an appetizer. The goat cheese was definitely the star of the show!!For the main, we shared the speck flatbread, a ravioli, patatas bravas and spaghetti al Nero. The portions were generous and plenty to share and the patatas bravas were stellar. That flat bread was also massive!!Overall, great food and the vibes of the restaurant are awesome!! Couldn't ask for a better experience

In town for a small production, I went to Ecco for dinner with some work friends. We started with a variety of tapas: goat cheese, shrimp, pork belly, patatas bravas, broccolini, and pan con tomato - all excellent. Main courses were steak frites, scallops, and fish (I can't recall the type, but it was also excellent). One person ordered the duck, which I didn't try, but everyone else loved it too.Our waiter, Michael, was quite the sommelier as well. He provided great pairing suggestions based on each person's preferences. Overall, it was a true 5-star meal.

Came here with a friend on a Thursday evening and it was a cool experience! I had a glass of Riesling that was crisp and refreshing, and ordered the Pappardelle for my main course. The serving was generous and the food was very fresh. Our server was knowledgeable and kind, however, I am knocking off 1 star because we tried to pay with a giftcard but it somehow didn't work? Our server then kept the card and we had to ask for it back.. We initially thought it was then a faulty card due to this, but after looking up the details, realized that the card was perfectly fine. It was just sort of an odd experience in that sense, but the dining was good.

We loved everything about this restaurant. The ambiance, our throughly informed server, not to mention the food! After reading other google reviews, we had an idea of what to order and yet, our server, Caroline had so much more to offer! She lead us through the menu choosing a great Chardonnay, tasty apps and finally our entrees. We started with the pork belly and the tuna crudo. My husband wasn't as fond of the harissa on the tuna but I liked it. The pork belly was very delicious and crispy!!Our entrees were a red fish w/fingerling potatoes that was perfectly cooked. I ordered the duck breast with cauliflower and was very happy I did. Caroline suggested duck at medium and I deferred to medium-rare. Should have listened to her!! I still loved it with the yogurt and pistachio sauce that accompanied the beautiful charred cauliflower!! Almost my fav part was the cauliflower! We were able to take our unfinished wine home with us.Will try to hit Ecco up next time we're at ATL airport. Very nice evening for us.Thanks Caroline for a lovely evening
