EAV Cafe

Food was great! We ordered breakfast croissant sandwich, grits, pancake and scrambled eggs with sausage. Everything was fantastic esp the pancake!!! Gotta get that. Both of our coffee drinks were also delicious! No sign outside. Very limited seating. But the food and warm hospitality outweighed all that....

What a treat! I stumbled across this spot when walking around the area surrounding my Airbnb, and I'm glad I decided to walk in! The owner was behind the counter and he was warm and inviting. My food was HOT when it was brought out to me and it was CHEAP. I also got some coffee here that was really good. Overall, this is definitely a good place to get your morning started. I'll be here every morning until I head back home!

Yelp reviews sent me to this hidden and my mom to this "hidden gem", and EAV Cafe didn't disappoint! My mom makes pancakes at least 4 out of 7 days a week and has been doing so all my life. Suffice it to say, she is super picky about her pancakes. They were delicious! Light and fluffy with crispy edges. My EAV big breakfast was perfect- grits, light ciabatta toast, fluffy eggs, and perfectly cooked turkey bacon. They have a nice selection of breakfast meats. The best part, though, were the owners- cool, friendly, laid-back, and conscientious. We will be back!

Great local spot in EAV for breakfast and coffee. We stopped in and ordered a few breakfast sandwiches. The bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough and one on croissant. Both were tasty, but the sourdough was my favorite! Coffee was outstanding, too!

The menu is small but mighty. Exquisite attention to the coffee -- the source, the roast, the prep. I had the grilled 4-cheese with egg -- yum! Perfectly browned Texas toast (I think?), well-cooked egg, and generous cheese. The DH had a bacon egg cheese sandwich, the bacon was cooked crispy and hanging out the edges with great temptation. They don't even have a sign yet, but go! They are just getting started, look for great things to happen as they get it going.

Fluffiest thick delicious pancakes. Their drip coffee medium roast is the best aroma & flavor to accompany the breakfast sandwiches too. Easier to take out and eat versus eating in. Support these local business owners who know their breakfast!
