Early Bird Restaurant - Midtown

Absolutely decadent!!!!Cute little place in what seems to be a bit of a gentrified area. Service was friendly and fast. The Mrs. had the creamiest, fluffiest scrambled eggs you can get. My daughter loved her pancakes that were the size of her head. I don't know if I've ever seen my son eat a Belgian waffle faster !!! Bacon was well cooked and tasty. I had the Chicken and Waffles. Perfectly fried boneless chicken thigh on top of a deliciously fluffy waffle with a trough of house made pork gravy (almost think strained sausage gravy that had bits of bacon in it) side of what seemed like house made hot sauce. Decent mocha in a nice big mug. A hit with the whole family!!!!

Disappointing service from the host stand to the waitress completely forgetting us after the initial greeting and filling of waters and coffee. Beware the credit card surcharge, we paid cash and they forgot to remove it when they brought my change. Had to remind waitress to bring that change back as well. Food was okay but will not be going back because of the service

This place is a must try if you ever visit Denver. Let me say all recommendations made were absolutely amazing. We had a great experience, The ambiance is very welcoming. They have Amazing food for Brunch (The Chicken and Eggs was awesome w/ the gravy) But the Grille with Bacon and French Toast was my absolute favorite and service was great as well . Staff here is extremely friendly . There is a wait, so I would recommend making a reservation before hand. But I'll definitely be back again...

The food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back here. The orange Julius and the bourbon coffee are a must. The breakfast potatoes are cooked perfectly and the service was quick and good.

Went here for breakfast today with my family and it was great! It was my first time there and the service was fabulous! We were sat right away, given waters and coffee immediately! Our server was so polite! We lived the vibe and all the food was delicious! We will definitely be going back!

Great spot to come and have breakfast or brunch. The best huevos rancheros I've ever had!

This is the neighborhood breakfast cafe that I dream of being able to walk to from my home on a weekend morning. I was surprised that there wasn't a wait and we were seated immediately at a high-top near the door. Inside, it's a "farmhouse chic vibe"; the staff was welcoming and chatty, perfect for our relaxed mood. We started with coffee and smoothies -- and the smoothies came in plastic to-go cups, which I found a little strange, but then I saved half my smoothy for the ride home... so #winner! I wanted something simple that included their fabled potatoes, so I got Eggs Your Way, over medium, and OMG, those potatoes are something else! I chose the sausage links, but I think I'd prefer bacon or ham next time. My friend inhaled his smothered burrito before I could snap a pic. Looking forward to our next breakfast here.

Wonderful. Service and atmosphere are great. Veggie bene is awesome. Chicken fried chicken outstanding, with the best gravy ever. Biscuit that comes with it is fabulous. Good coffee and cappuccino. A must visit in this area!

My wife and I were looking for a place to have breakfast and having started our day a little later than usual, we knew the usual local metro haunts would be filled to the gills with patrons and long wait lists, so we went outside of our usual zone and ended up at Early Bird - Midtown. I'm glad we did as the ambience was right, the staff friendly and attentive and the food quite good. Eggs cooked well and potatoes, mmmmm. We were sat right away at a table near the host station but weren't once disturbed by the incoming or outgoing traffic. The place seems to be steady but we didn't notice a back up or crazy line at any point that we were there. Would we return? If we're ever running late and want a good sit down restaurant without a crazy wait, we most certainly will!

Have been several times, never disappointed. Food is good, their homemade hot sauce is delicious!A must go spot whenever I'm in town.
