From the time you walk in the aroma of freshness punches you in the face. You're forced to look to your left behind the crystal clean glass display and your adventure to happiness beginsTheir breads, pound cakes, slices or whole cakes, pies, tarts are all to perfection. My favorites are; a slice of Mango Paradise and their Tiramisu, which are both to live for. Why die and not enjoy more. I was given a sample of a macaroon. All I could say was, "Universe, why is it sooooo good?"Having visited France several times while overseas this is definitely Authentic French. The staff members are all polite, professional and have real smiles on their faces. Not forced. You're strange if you don't come out with something and or have a pep in your step of satisfaction.Last, there's dine-inside or outside. Parking can be a bit hmmmm, just know patience is needed but so worth the wait. Now if you're inside waiting, you won't mind because there's so much to choice from as soon as you enter. OM, just go. Sorry no pictures, I get excited and forget every time. Just go!

I ordered delivery and received someone else's order but got my coffee. I contacted the delivery service and waited for the driver to return. He didn't. I reordered my entree. They accepted the order and sent a new driver with my original delivery...which had by then been sitting for over an hour and a half. It feels personal. Why would you penalize me by sending me cold food when I could have had no idea what happened to my original order and you'd be the only one in a position to know it had been sitting on your counter for over an hour? Why would you intentionally send a customer cold, stale food? Terrible customer service. Obviously the pastry and French toast is cold and the bacon is limp. I didn't drink the second ate so I don't know if the first one is what I ordered or not. Won't patronize again.

A delightful trip to France awaits within the confines of Douceur, with all the favorites you'd expect and a few you didn't. Go light with a croissant or decadent with creme brûlée French toast. The coffee is rich and delicious, whether roast or press, and the service is friendly even when it's busy on a weekend brunch. We drove by for years, always meaning to stop, so glad we could the week before we hopped the pond for London (don't tell the French). We'll hope not to wait so long for our return visit as the first.

I pass by Douceur de France often and decided this morning that I would stop by for breakfast since they open bright and early at 7am. I entered at 7:05 am, so I'm positive that I was the first customer of the day. The staff was busy stocking the displays with their fresh pastries etc. so it did feel a little unorganized. I was able to finally get someone attention to ask for a menu where I could see the hot breakfast items.I decided to order a chai latte and the egg croissant with chicken sausage. The chai latte was not good, very weak and overly milky. I would not order their chai again. The egg croissant was AMAZING. Like, the croissant itself was so flaky and buttery - I'll definitely return for the croissant alone! Now, a HUGE PET PEEVE is when I'm charged a different price than what the menu states. As you can see from the pictures attached, it says in the menu that to add chicken sausage to the egg croissant would be $2.00. The receipt shows where I was actually charged $3. UPDATE YOUR MENU!!!Therefore, I've docked a star because of the price discrepancies and the chai latte. However, I do admit that the croissant is PHENOMENAL and if I was basing my review off of that alone they would have received 5 stars.

This is the spot for the most delightful French lunch. It's so simple and honestly guilt free being just the right amount of food. And if you have room, why not load up on a box of pastries to go?The macarons are amazingly decadent. I admit, from time to time I'll give into a big grocery store chain's version of macarons and think "hey, these are good enough" and "what a steal of a price". But, after biting into a Douceur De France macaron I remember how macarons should taste and why they come with that pricey tag. It's so, so worth it. The texture, the flavors all packed into one itty bitty bite. I will edit this review after the next visit as my soup and sandwich are just not enough! The desserts must be represented! Everything is so magically and beautifully crafted, with delicious flavor to boost.

One of my all time favorite bakeries in Atlanta and the whole of Georgia. It's phenomenal, fresh. Simple to the point. They use great ingredients & all them to shine. Everything I've ever had has been great. From chicken pot pie, to baguette with butter & jam , & ofcourse pastries . Everything's delicious. The service is great. They'll answer any questions you have & are patient. I always know what I want when I'm there but I've watched when customers don't and they were patient. The ambiance is minimal, & no fuss just good vibes & food.

Sunday brunch at Donceur France . First time here and was so excited to try Smoked Salmon Tartine . It was full of flavor and the perfect portion . My friend had the tomato basil soup which was creamy and tasty . He also ordered the beef bourguignon . This was a heart dish , comfort food . The service was attentive.

Great local vibe here. You can tell that there are many repeat customers who enjoy what Douceur de France has to offer...with the cafe in front and the lively restaurant spread across two rooms. Decor is decidedly French with some "market" items to boot.Everyone was quite friendly and willing to answer relevant questions. Happy with the service in that regard. We got a couple standard items: yogurt and granola parfait - as well as pesto omelette. The parfait was good...nothing spectacular...but very much hit the spot with a reasonable portion size. The omelette was decent as well, though I was quite disappointed with a misleading description. I was expecting pesto per the menu. Instead, I got some oddball pesto cream with a remarkably different taste and texture. It wasn't bad, but it literally was not pesto, and I would not have ordered it I knew that it was going to be a cream sauce.

The food was authentic and delicious, service was incredible and the ambiance is that of a true French bakery/cafe. The croissants are the best we've had in the US. My partner is from Belgium and the authenticity of the food and team really made him feel at home. We've already been back twice!
