Came in today for cinco de mayo and it was packed! There was a 2 hour wait (for a party of 2) and probably more for bigger groups. We put our name on the list and after about an hour we received a text that we were added to the list and it took about another hour before we were told that our table was ready. The restaurant was extremely busy but all of the servers were working hard and on the go so that was greatly appreciated. I ordered the $5 margaritas for cinco de mayo. They were good for $5 but I didn't feel buzzed or anything. The chips and salsa were mehh (I feel like the chips were stale). But the star of the show was the surf and turf egg rolls! 10/10 highly recommend! The portion was huge! I split it with two people! The meat on there was chefs kiss and the shrimp was just the perfect touch! Definitely coming back for it! Parking was a bit rough as it's a shared parking lot with other establishments so just an fyi!

I heard great things about this restaurant and was disappointed with the overall quality. Upon initially walking in, it was very hot due to the AC either being broken or working very poorly. We were prompted to grab an open table, selecting one by a window. Our server was a bit inattentive. We did have to ask for things multiple times such as sour cream, water, water refills and utensils when the food was brought. For a starter, we ordered the surf and turf eggrolls which alone were really good. The cheese sauce served on the side was gritty so we did not eat this. As my main entree I ordered the taco plate with pastor, served with refried beans and rice. The pastor was cooked and seasoned very well. The rice was good, the beans were overly salted so I did not eat these. For drinks we ordered the spicy Margarita and frozen strawberry margaritas, as well as Mexican candy shots. All drinks were great. I would likely order to go next time or try the other location.

The food is always fresh and prepared to order. You only need one adult beverage if you decide to have one. The hubby got honey hot lemon pepper wings with fries and I had a Hennessey Island and a surf and turf bowl. The meat and shrimp are always perfectly seasoned and cooked. No photos, because I didn't think about it until we were done. Breanna was an amazing server. She checked on us frequently, brought requested items out quickly, and refilled our beverage orders often. It's a festive environment with a mix of hip-hop and Latin themed music. We have not had a bad experience yet.

food is SO GOOD! 10/10. Flavorful, big portions, and a chill atmosphere. Parking is easy and it's in a shopping center. I've been to both locations and this one is BY FAR better. The Washington location has horrible parking. I love coming here on date nights when we want something good but fairly priced!

The outside of this restaurant appears sketchy if you aren't familiar with the area. We were greeted by a police officer who also served as the hostess upon arrival. There was a mixture of hip hop and Hispanic music which was extremely loud and made it difficult to hold a conversation. Now on to the food. The menu has a variety and the menu can be overwhelming. As a result, I ordered the trio dip with guacamole, queso, and street corn. I added a side of grilled shrimp which was probably the cleanest and most flavorful shrimp I have ever tasted. I combined the dips with my shrimp and created a delicious meal. The drink menu is also very broad. I ordered the frozen flight which came with more alcohol than I expected. The drinks were good but contained a decent amount of alcohol. The story of the restaurant is printed on the menu and is very inspiring. I highly recommend reading. I will definitely visit this restaurant again but in the day time.

Tried this spot due to the social media hype. Don't believe the hype! For starters salsa was nothing but tomato juice. The chips were stale and tasted store bought. The beef fajitas were good. The rice and beans were good and could have been authentic. The margarita was rot gut with a lot of sweet syrup in it. I did not drink it. The service was decent and the atmosphere was like a New Orleans type vibe to me...not meant in a bad way but just for comparison. It's a NO for me.

We were both blown away by the amazing food and the portions were generous enough that we even had leftovers to enjoy later.The standout for us was the unique and delicious green salsa, which we couldn't get enough of. And the lemonade was the perfect complement to our meal, refreshing and satisfying.Yes, the food did take a bit of time to come out, but it was well worth the wait.
