These cupcakes were absolutely amazing! They were moist, decorated beautifully, and so tasty! The store is cute inside with beautiful colors and the service was pleasant. I saw a one star review on here for the shop and it made me so sad, because it was obviously slander. The cupcakes are the farthest thing from dry and you could see it in their photos so hopefully that doesn't dissuade anyone from trying. I'll will definitely be back! Also, I tried the red velvet, pumpkin spice, and cookies n cream.

Nice spot in Decatur, there is enough parking. The owner is extremely friendly and didn't mind explaining the flavors, we had a whole conversation. There are a couple of places to sit inside and it is decorated very well. They are more pricey than expected but they are really good cupcakes! They aren't overly sweet like some cupcakes. They are very tasty, I will take the drive back to get more!

When i say the best cupcakes i ever had in my life. Customer service was also great and the store was so elegant and clean. Definitely was the best cupcakes in Atlanta. Thanks again everyone enjoyed them and want to know do you ship them to other states

So it was $55 for a dozen cupcakes and while excited to support a small local business-these cupcakes were a HUGE disappointment! Dry cake and frosting was whipped shortening, not butter! I just have to believe all these 5 star reviews are family, friends or people who eat cheap mass produced desserts!!!! And if that's the case, save your money and just go to Publix. The best part of this experience was the pretty box! As a master baker myself, I know quality. Due to a lack of time, I didn't make my own as I usually do, and wanted to support a new business which is why I didn't go to my usually haunts! Bland, greasy, and dry If you're in Decatur and looking for good cupcakes/cake, head over to "A Piece of Cake" OR "Southern Sweets" skip Diamond Dust, because the only thing that's "Diamond" here, is the name!

I could say a lot or I could say a little....The cupcakes at Diamond Dust speaks for themselves!!!!The place is a small quaint cute little shop in the heart of Downtown Decatur. My daughter told me about this place that she found while jogging. Then my niece talked about the BEST CUPCAKES that she has EVER eaten!So naturally for my daughters 26th birthday I got the name address and phone number and made my way over there.They are the nicest sweetest young ladies with an infectious smile I chose 8 various cupcakes and couldn't wait to devour mine!When I tell you after dinner everyone chose a cupcake we hurried up and sang Happy Birthday so we could eat our wonderful delectable cupcake.All you could hear is moans and OMG this is sooo gooood!!!They were Soooooo Gooood that I went back the next Saturday and bought 8 more cupcakes!!!I could say you got to try the Salted Caramel or oh no try the Red Velvet then again you may should try the Strawberry Shortcake.But then again the Coconut Pineapple was simply divine and the Vanilla is delicious too.Long story short, just go and have fun trying them ALL because you can't go wrong either way!!!

This place stands out above the heavily populated Atlanta cupcake game. I've had the red velvet and the chocolate dip, strawberry cupcakes, and key lime pie cupcake and the cream is always super soft and fresh and the cake is always moist no matter which flavor.

This is an Avondale Estates that's changed location to Decatur. The new shop is super cute. Wanted to stop here and get a thank you gift for my doctor, and what says thank you more than Chocolate? The cupcakes are reasonably priced and located on the backside of downtown Decatur, they are across the street from Las Brasa, so get some lunch and stop here for a snack. Private parking lot which is a bonus in this area as free parking is going by the way side. Friendly service and sweets who could ask for more?

Found this place on yelp and definitely had to try it because of the five star review status. I'm gonna go ahead and add another! I love the logo! It has a dash of elegance. However, due to the name, I expected to walk in and see really glamorously designed cupcakes but it was quite the opposite. They were small and simple with minimal frosting. The frosting was actually positioned in the center of the cupcake leaving the surrounding circumference bare and you could see the cake around the perimeter. Now I know a lot of people can't stand to get a cupcake that has goo gobs of frosting, more frosting than the actual cupcake! However I felt a little cheated because of the appearance. Not sure why I was so conflicted because then I thought about the fact that I don't like when frosting is overpowering in the first place. I had the salted caramel option. The cupcake was extremely moist and well flavored! I don't remember the exact name but something comparable. The icing was just right! You can tell that this was intentional. Now that we're through my icing/frosting rant and all turned out well, I'll just add that although delicious, they were a bit pricey, or are all cupcakes averaging $5? I'll space out my visits but will definitely be back!

Today waw my first time purchasing cupcakes from Diamond Dust Cupcakes. I purchased the cupcakes for my sister because today is her birthday. The cupcakes were sooo good. Diamond dust is definitely worth checking out. I will definitely purchase from them again. My birthday is in November. I will treat myself to some Amazing and Delicious cupcakes. Customer service was Awesome. She was super friendly and very sweet. I will be back to purchase more in the future.

I really can't say enough nice things about this cupcakery! First impressions are everything, and they really rocked my socks! I was driving by and noticed the cute baby blue building, so we turned around to check it out. Saw the reviews and knew that was something special. The inside and outside of the building itself seems meticulously upkept. Beautiful paint job and clean interior. The owner was super friendly and the flavors sounded so yummy. I got strawberries and cream and vanilla. Both were moist and flavorful. The details were really what sold the experience for me. The cupcakes are set in a pretty blue to-go box with cupcake shaped holes to hold them in place. There's even branding on the closing tab wishing you an enjoyable cupcake. I can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into this end product. And they do custom cupcakes and fun and different flavors! Next time we have a birthday, I know where to go.
