"My daughter recently invited me to dinner at Barcelona's and she made reservations for the Monday night, knowing how busy the place gets. Indeed, when we arrived, the restaurant was packed, with a few customers waiting, hoping for a table. This spot is trendy, lively and welcoming, with a large bar and a couple rooms, one of them opens via garage doors onto a small patio. Our friendly waitress brought us a complimentary basket of yummy crusty bread with olive oil, always a promising sign. Although the menu features paellas, we opted to share some tapas. The selection is extensive, making it hard to choose. We settled on a few dishes, all of them delicious, but if I had to pick favorites, the oyster mushrooms and seared diver scallops were outstanding. The red sangria was on the sweet side, and since I am not into sugary drinks, I liked the white one better. For dessert, we both found the flan a bit too dense, and agreed that the olive oil cake was by far the star to end a fun and delicious meal!"
Involves both tandoori cooking and preparation similar to curries, but with thicker sauce. Gluten free.

Visit Restaurant Page"Postino has consistently good food and I love the bruschetta board. There are so many varieties to choose from and they are all so tasty. They also have sandwiches and salads. This location has a nice patio out back - with umbrellas and misters to cool off. The service was quick and friendly. There is only street parking which could be hard to find but it's worth that minor inconvenience."
"We stayed at the Jacquard hotel in Cherry Creek North and dined at their restaurant, Narrative for dinner during our stay. The place was packed, and we were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was airy with clean lines and a white bookshelf wall display was the main focal point. Our server Mariah was fantastic! She recommended each item we ordered and knew the menu inside and out. The Lobster Corndogs were served with jalapeño hot sauce & smoked pepper honey. The Tuna Poke was made with avocado, sesame ponzu, green onion, yuzu kusho, & furikake rice crackers. This starter was fresh & bright - the tender fish, creamy avocado, and delicately crisp rice crackers had a really good texture combination. The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, shaved pecorino, buttered panko, & cured egg yolk. This was one of the best Caesar salads we have had in Denver - the shaved pecorino generously coated each leaf of the crisp lettuce. The Braised Short Rib was made with mascarpone polenta, roasted mushrooms, hazelnut, & orange mustarda. The short rib was so tender it fell apart under our forks. It had a robust flavor of succulent beef and combined with the mascarpone polenta, it made for decadent bites. The Diver Scallops were made with butternut squash, parsnip, roasted apple, & cider gastrique."
"We've been to Table 6 several times...and it is always a hit.Cozy Comfy spot with great service and excellent food.Smallish menu with something for everyone."
"Chose this spot because it was recommended by a business associate. It's a nice place and undoubtedly Italian, in a smaller neighborhood but very cozy! Very friendly and conscientious staff. The owner even stopped over to check on us! The food was very good. Funny how Italian food is subject to family recipes and location etc. etc. Appetizers were very good and we basically licked the plates. My Veal Marsala was presented with an Eggplant Componata which was tasty yet the Marsala Sauce was thin and needed to be reduced more to get that nice sweet and thick Dee-lickable thing going on....Everyone ate and we had a couple drinks! The desserts were good but me being a Tiramisu SNOB! I was hopi g it would be better. The Lemon Cake most likely purchased frozen was eh...ok."
"We arrived to town after a long day of travel and just needed somewhere to get a good meal. We found this bistro and wine bar with a decent menu that has flatbread and burgers, though they are a little pricey I think it's apropos for the downtown area. The service was fine but a little short. It was still happy hour but they didn't offer us happy hour, though they did to the next table. We were too tired to argue. Ordered some spicy burger with cream cheese and it was amazing. Really hit the spot. Their cocktails are tasty. The cherry drink that came in a tall glass was too easy to drink at $15 each. The dining room is intimate, with nooks and crannies for small parties. I asked the server if the garlic fries come out crispy. He said they did but I asked for him to request a new dish. They were bad. They should have never left the kitchen. The pic included has the fresh fries that were perfect. Good spot for a decent meal in downtown. Just don't expect much."
"The Fifth String has taken over what used to be Old Major in the Highlands and if there is a Sleeper of the year award, I am giving it to them! I hadn't heard much about this spot, but if the Yelp reviews can tell you anything, it's that it is worth 5 WHOLE stars - and who am I to argue with my fellow Yelpers??First, their cocktails are TOP TIER. I tried a couple: Yuzu Enjoy Myself with Japanese whisky, yuzu puree and egg white and the Blood Orange Crush with mezcal, fireberry tea, spiced blood orange - inventive and all DELICIOUS. Second, the food! Their menu is simple - some great, fresh seafood, steak, pasta. There was not one bite I did not enjoy:Tallow Candle Bread Service - a candle made out of rendered beef fat and seasoned with herbs and fleur de sel is brought to the table with fantastic, housemade bread. This is a zero waste product and everything is edible except for the flame! Delicious and unique. Wagyu Steak Carpaccio - this is some of the best carpaccio I've had in town. Chili crunch, pine nuts, harrisa aioli, thai basil, ramp kimchi, picled ramps, olive oil - it may SOUND like there's too many things on top of the shaved wagyu, but trust me IT WORKS.12oz Wagyu Flatiron - cooked perfectly medium rare served with potato mille fuielle, charred onions, kombu-beef jus, chanterelles and spinach. Don't sleep on those sides, they were also just as good as that steak.I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant- not to mention the service was just incredible. Everyone was approachable and knowledgeable and so warm and inviting. I am DREAMING of a brunch here one day - I think they had it at one point, but don't anymore. I just KNOW that menu will be ridiculous. Either way, can't wait to get back in here!"
"Love this bar in LoHi! It has our favorite drink that we had our entire trip - The Leaf Peeper. We loved it so much we came back a second day! The bartenders are wonderful. They give great recommendations and are highly knowledgeable of their cocktails. I also tried the Cold-Blooded and Shadowlands. They were delicious, too. The cocktails are so well designed, with unique and carefully selected ingredients. Prices are comparable to other cocktail bars, and the ambiance is classy but laid back. A must stop when in Denver, and make sure you check out the Leaf Peeper! Parking is street and can be tight."
"Came back to try this place again after a few months and changes to the menu--and was much more impressed. It seems as though some much needed changes were made after my last visit. I have to say I was stuck between 4 and 5 stars for the food alone, but the service pushed me over the edge on giving a 5 star review. The food was much better this time--our highlights were the Beef Brochettes (so tender and flavorful), the Barbajuan (the flakiness of the ravioli was so good) and the Almond Cake. The stuffed dates were the only item we ordered that we didn't love, but that was more of a specific flavor that just wasn't for me I think. The service was absolutely outstanding and definitely made this dinner experience notable. We will be back."
"I'll get right to it. The food here is great! Try their Chicken65. It's boneless chicken that's so full of flavor! I could lick offthe plate clean! For our entry we shared the Shish-kebob and Lamb Saag. The former was loaded with flavor! The latter? The lamb was tender and the portions were great. So tasty! Both dishes came with rice. I got my Mango Lassi for free because I checked in on Yelp! I like my lassi thick and not too sweet. This fits the bill perfectly! We also had an order of naan. The service was awesome! Friendly and polite. Everything was cooked fresh and served piping hot. I like this place. So I don't understand the low rating. I know they could use some colors on their walls. They need to somehow brighten those walls or decorate it with colorful stuff. They have a good-sized patio. Try them if you're in the area. You might end up loving this place!"
"Dew Drop Inn... do drop in! It kind of reminds me of "There's No Way" by Lauv and Julia Michaels. "You touch" the menu and you know "there will be history between us two". Maybe, even some "regrets, but we just ignored them." Maybe, you'll try a traditional rendition or maybe you'll try an N/A remix. Maybe, you'll "want another"... maybe you'll "hold off for one sec"... but "there's no way it's not going there"... you'll order more than one drink before you grab the check! Overall, just like the song, it's cute and no one is upset when it's recommended. (:"

Great wine and service with a mixed experience on food.Seated quickly outside on a Friday night, after only about a 5 minute wait, which was great given how busy they were. The wine was all A+ (not surprising for a wine bar). Ordered several smaller pours, and the best was the rosé cava, which for me was on bar with bubblies 3-4 x the price. Onto the food. We enjoyed the burrata and octopus, which was perfectly cooked. The cauliflower dish was the weakest of the lot--under seasoned and bland. Hummus dish was in the middle- could have used some more garlic and tahini. The side of bread was chewy and flavorful.I would come back for a drink on the patio and some bread for sure, and other than the top two dishes would order a bit differently next time.

Postino is always a hit! I love taking friends here when they visit because we can share a board and enjoy some wine. The boards are a must -- my favorites are the smoked salmon and sweet and spicy goat cheese! I always get those and switch up the other two.The service is quick and this location tends to not have a wait outside of the busy times, including their board & bottle evenings with discounts. They also have a patio which is great for summer brunches when the weather is nice but it also has heaters so I believe its open yearround!

We had such a lovely dinner here last night. The restaurant is higher end while feeling casual and homey. We loved the ambiance and decor of the space. Our waitress, Erica, was so much fun. She had great recommendations and was just a joy to engage with. We had the lobster hotdogs, mussels and corn soup to start. We love a good appetizer. These were all perfectly cooked with great flavor. We split the smash burger and a chopped salad for dinner and the burger was one of my favorites of all time. Drool worthy. Resisting the urge to go back again tonight but very tempted. If you're looking for a romantic dinner date spot or cozy meal with friends in Cherry Creek, this is a solid choice. We will be back next trip for sure!

Ambience: there is a small attached parking lot, try to park there by going east on 6th Ave when approaching the restaurant. Noisy inside.Service: slow service on this night was the thing we liked least.Food: Being a big duck confit fan, I couldn't resist trying it here. It did not disappoint. Crispy on the outside, very tender inside. Did not love the accompanying dish that reminded me of turkey stuffing. Halibut was baked to perfection. Pasta dish was gobbled down by our friend. Interesting wine list with a decent red wine from Cortez, CO called "Ordinary People."

We had an excellent dinner at Undici. I made a reservation for 5 the night before (weeknight). Between the 5 of us we tried 3 dishes (because a few of us ordered the same thing!) The bruschetta appetizer was okay. The bread was burnt so it was hard to fully enjoy. But our pastas were fantastic! I had the pappardelle bolognese which was delicious! I can't say it's my favorite, because there's a better one in the neighborhood but my friend's dish was incredible! I can't find it on the menu to name it, but it was a thin noodle (possible spaghetti) with a truffle white sauce and a small amount of panchetta (I think). Not helpful, but sooo good! Two others had the rigatoni Undici and both loved it. Our server was great and personable. In a few words: I'll be back!

Met a friend here after a hike and was absolutely blown away with the attention to detail - in more ways than most places offer. Let me explain. My friend has Celiac disease and has to (really) police her food and how it's cooked. She called ahead and had a lovely conversation with staff. So, we're on our way. If you've been to this location, you already know how gorgeous and well laid out the interior is. Absolutely stunning. Add the same attention to detail with your food and bam, there's five stars. We also hit happy hour, which is always a plus. Gluten free or maybe you're working with Celiac? The kitchen has a dedicated frier and is attentive to the potential of cross contamination. An audible exhale, a big smile and amazing food = priceless. The app I had was delicious - packed with flavor and very pretty to look at. Her burger was simply seasoned, cooked to order and accommodating to her health. She's already been back. I will be back soon.

The service is one of the best, they truly make you feel like a VIP. First of all, my coat tag read 007 and it was quite special. Then the Tallow Candle Bread really felt like a "Service." I loved dipping the bread in the melted cow fat; would not have hesitated asking for second helpings if it was softer and a "regular" loaf instead of sourdough...My Seared New England Sea Scallops was top notch. Every bite is 5-stars. I think even my friend gave up finishing her entree so she could have some of mine. Hubby's Chive and Black Pepper Gnocchi had a little too much black pepper; but it's in the name, after all. The gnocchi was nicely made (I believe in house?) as it had just the right amount of chewiness. Overall a great night here. Parking can be a little tight.
Visit Restaurant Page"Via Toscana is a busy restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere, offering classic Tuscan cuisine and an impressive wine list. The location in a strip mall is unexpected, but that means easy parking.Service is attentive and when I've visited Via Toscana a few times with groups, they always try to accommodate us, finding a quieter area in the restaurant for book club as an example (they take reservations).Last time, I started with the Lemon Drop, a very refreshing cocktail, and it's always nice to munch on their bread dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar that they bring as soon as you start looking at the menu. The food is also yummy, you can pick anything from pasta to pizza, including vegetarian options. Not much changes at Via Toscana over the years, and that's a good thing!"
"Zane's, it's so nice to have you in my neighborhood of Hampden South. You are walking distance from my house. Upon having a strong craving for some decent Italian food, I can always come to you to pick up a few items.Service is consistently good. Prices are reasonable. You simply never disappoint.I feel though that it's time that you guys modified the entire menu. Change's should be embraced from time to time.Again, I'm thankful for having you in my vicinity."
"I came here for happy hour the other day and it did not disappoint. We basically tried everything on the HH menus so can't comment on their dinner menu. With the exception of the chicken slider (a bit overcooked and dry), everything was wonderful especially given the price point. The menu had a large variety for HH food and the portion sizes were pretty big. We had the tacos, pimento cheese, Mac and cheese, chicken sliders and grilled Caesar salad. I do wish the salad came with croutons instead of bread, but that's my personal preference. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I had the HH wine which was fine, but hey for $5 wine on the patio it wasn't too shabby. I fear the space is a bit too big and there weren't too many customers, but I'm hoping that it changes in the upcoming months. I also appreciate the dishware, which was more upscale than your typical restaurant plates/silverware."
"Great restaurant with friendly people and yummy food. Been here and ordered takeout several times. I usually always order saag paneer (palak paneer) when I go to Indian/Nepalese restaurants. The one they have here is really good and I love getting hot. The butter chicken, vindaloo, and tikka are also good options. Not crowded at all on a Friday night. We got cheese garlic naan for the first time and I couldn't really tell the difference between that one an normal garlic naan. Good ambiance overall."
"First off, a shout out to our server, Elle. She did a great job waiting on us! We had two toddlers with us and we were also celebrating an adult birthday, and she really took good care of all of us. The food was really good! We shared wings, loaded fries, a platter of turkey and brisket. I recommend all of them! They also had a good kids meal so we were all happy. The happy birthday pecan pie was delicious with plenty to share with the table. Nice atmosphere. We enjoyed everything."
"I've been here before when it was still Azitra. They re-branded sometime after the pandemic. It's in a strip mall and parking is plenty! Delicious food and amazing cocktails. They got square footage here! Azafran is an Urdu word for saffron. My fave find here was their Rara Lamb Shank and their very unique and amazing desserts. First off I've never tried a Carrot Pudding like this! It's like what the description says. It's velvety! To make this dessert is a labor of love from what I heard. The difference in temperature between the plate and the pudding surprised us! The House made ice cream shaped like a cheese and soo creamy! The rest of the dishes were equally good but I'm a lamb girl and this is it! Very memorable. Kudos to @chefsauravm for the yummy dishes!"
"The pork chop was absolutely perfect! Cooked to perfection. Delicious elote on the side. Ordered the potato croquettes and they were lovely. Definitely will eat here again."
"I've been to Venice more times and for more occasions than I can count. I was honored to be invited to a friend's parents 57th anniversary. It's been a few years since I have walked through the door. The place is bigger with an additional private room as they took over the space next door this also includes the bigger front bar area. Still the dimly lit white tablecloth place I fondly remember. Ambiance here is everything for sure. Dimly lit, attentive but not overly intrusive service, low background music adds to the evening and not overpowers conversation. Wine list is on an iPad which is fun. Still the food I remember and will now crave again for weeks. This is definitely a Daye night , special occasion kind of place. Go and give yourself a nice night out."
"Lunch with coworkers and good food is always a great way to break up the work day. My partner and I have had Postino in the pandemic days for a holiday treat and enjoyed it back then. Today, I sat inside and got to experience Postino in an entirely different light. We ordered from their brunch menu and choose paninis and salads. Our service was great, pricing from the brunch menu was perfect and the space is gorgeous.I'd love to come back and try other items on their menu."
"Denver has really been surprising me with the wine bars lately. I'm rather obsessed with Trellis. It's only 15min from my house haha! The space is great, open, yet cozy seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a super fun and interesting wine selection, which I love. The more varietals or regions I've not tried before, the happier I am!We were there on a Sat and they had bruncharcuterie board which was hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt w/fruit, bacon, and marcona almonds. I loved it! It was effectively finger food b'fast.I wanted to move in but they closed for an event so I couldn't sadly, lol. I can't wait to go back!"
"It's cute and the food is decent. I think the wine list is the best part and the charc board. The service was good. But not much of a food selection, it's more of a small bites menu and some wine type of place."
"The planets must've aligned last Wednesday or we missed a full moon or something. The location in downtown is good but this location in DTC is great! Kevin was our waiter and took care of us from beginning to end. He struck up conversation, made suggestions and was ever so confident with pairing wine with the ladies in our group. The food was on point like the service. Meatball as an appetizer followed by a salad and everyone got pizza for themselves. It worked out and we had a great time catching up. Wish there was more to add but this is as top notch as it gets! Thanks Pizza Republica!"
"Very good experience at the Regular. The food is well presented, balanced and tasty. From the moment you walk in, there are fresh cut flowers in eye-catching and striking arrangements--you know the Regular is a class act. I had a special tasting menu. The ceviche was fresh, perfectly seasoned. The papa a la huancaina (potato) was spicy, tender, delicious. Gnocchi with leeks was tender, well cooked. Half Peking Duck had a crispy skin, after aging for some time-- also well prepared and worth the effort. Inside seating is comfortable with well appointed tables. Service was acceptable. Ordering from the bar proved a challenge, as my before dinner drink took well over 35 minutes to which I cancelled it and just ordered wine. Parking problematic, given the location understandable."
"Came here early on a Friday night with a few girlfriends. We made a reservation online and had high expectations from the postings we saw about it. Did not disappoint! This is a location where you can go to meet up with coworkers or a fun beginning to a night out. Business casual or casual cute is the vibe. It does get a little loud with the open style but not too loud to the point you can't hear your table. Only strange thing was walking to the restroom. We started off with a few drinks, they came out rather quickly, but the highlight of the night was the food. Starting with the lobster creste di gallo, my friend said it was one of the best she has had amazing flavor. The Risotto and Scotch Olives were also devoured. The funniest past was my meal, The Crispy Lions main. I thought it was fish until the Owner/Manager Chris came by and told me it was actually a mushroom. By that point I have finished it all and raved about the taste not being too fishy. Well in fact it wasn't a fish at all, but I loved it. Great experience, and I look forward to coming back! Overall 4.5/5 stars."
"This place had a rooftop in an aesthetic valley. They did have some portable heaters for the chillier times, but frankly we got a bit shorted on that and I was shivering by the end. Their menu was surprisingly small but held some excellent options. Garlic bread was absurdly large but delivered on flavor, and a burrata salad offered and excellent mix of flavors and textures. Vegetarian options were some, but vegan not. Service was quite slow, which is part of the reason I ended up staying out in a night that I wasn't quite dressed for. The place struck me as an adequate one trading on location, and it definitely is an area worth visiting."
"Stopped in for a quick drink before heading to ball arena. Service was great, very quick and friendly. The drinks were delicious and we were even treated to a small taster of another drink. The vibe is on point, lots of different seating options, sexy but comfortable. Looking forward to going back, definitely want to go on a Wednesday for the stock market game."
"Do they need another 5-star review as they have (as of mid-August 2024) 4.5+ star reviews? It wouldn't hurt, I guess not???I attended a "wine and wealth" event at Noble Riot tonight and must say that my second time at this place tonight was far better than my first time several years back. The organizer of this event did a blind taste of three wines selected by Troy (none other than the owner of Noble). Troy is a wealth of knowledge is an understatement. I thought I was somewhat well-versed in wine but if he is a PhD, I'm still in kindergarten. Oh my goodness, I came to realize that I knew nothing about wine based on what Troy knows. This was an humbling experience. People do say that the restaurant scene in Denver is still not up to the level of other states like California or New York and yet I feel that Noble Riot is THE Denver's pride and joy. With that said, this place should be ranked in the top 5 places in the wine category in this Mile High City.Troy's professionalism, attentiveness to detail and expertly eloquent presentation were all golden. You cannot find a more fitting person than him for this place. Its ambiance sets the stage for everyone and every occasion. Whether it's a class or event you'd like to hold or a ladies' night or a date night, this place never fails to impress people. A good selection of light eats with affordable prices in the RiNo neighborhood, how can they keep their business going in this tough economic climate? Troy must know how to navigate through this ever changing restaurant industry. Troy, hats off to you!I simply cannot wait to go back to here. When will that be? Hopefully soon..."
"Chris was our server and was amazing! He gave awesome recommendations and was super attentive and friendly! Food was also great, we had 1/2 order onion rings (you can ask for a massive 1/2 order which still was a lot), salads, and crispy calamari for starters. Dinner was a delicious orange marinade salmon (great!) and hubby had prime rib. He said the seasoning on the prime rib was different, but still decent. Desserts looked good but we were stuffed. A bit touristy and crowded since it's next to the Coors Stadium, you never know with places like this if the food is going to be OK because of the location, but actually, Chophouse was pretty good!"
"They are busy but we got the reservation. We got seated right sway. The drink with grass jelly is delicious. The boba straw could not help me get squared grass jelly pieces but I had a spoon. Banh xeo with guacamole appetizer is cleverly tasty combination. Shrimp cake is super delicious and stir fried asian spinach with fish sauce is so good. I wish I got steamed rice to enjoy with. We got banana pudding to go for a late night snack or breakfast. The pudding with tapioca and peanuts are so addictive."
"Nice way to start Restaurant Week. The Bindery was busy on this first night so I was glad I made reservations. Got a nice seat by the window to overlook downtown Denver. Very filling menu with a wine pairing option that was reasonably priced. First course of asparagus with beef carpaccio was nice. The lamb oso buco was an enormous portion. I don't care for meat on the bone but the guajlillo sauce with this dish was very tasty. Best dish of the night - dessert. Lemon "was a cake and now dreams" did not disappoint. A flavorful dish of lemon curd with moist cake topped with meringue. I will go back just for this dish!"
"I can't say anymore than what others say about @littleindiaofdenver. I know I can take any out of towners or any locals that haven't to any of their locations and they come out a fan. So the other day guess what? We're back! It was an unbelievable feast. These are really a great group. Great staff! Awesome food. Great rich decor that transports you to a place in India itself!
