"Tried to book a rezzie around 5pm on a friday and got a 9pm rezzie. walked in around 6 something and sat on the couch in the front and ordered from there. a little uncomfortable to eat with a coffee table especially being so high end but it workedGyoza- 5 small pieces. $26 apple slices, creamy sauce, herbs and gyoza. it was a burst of good flavor for sure. Black truffle mac and cheese $24: really good esp when hot. good portion, almost an entree portionhamachi jalapeno $20 something? 6 very thin slices but very very fresh and tastyFilet flight 12 oz total- 4 oz each $110: prime rib was really tasty, wagyu was great, grass fed was still tasty. i really like the centers and medium rare was fabulous6 cookies for $12 was absolutely fabulous. really tiny cookie muffin things, milk chocolate, white chocolate just oozes into your mouth. Sooooo good fresh.Servers were very friendlyOverall great experience. love the ambiance and food was good. obvi just really high end and pricey!"
"I highly debated whether to go with 4 or 5 stars on this. As you can see I elected a 5 star. Here's why; All the meat we tried was absolutely delicious. Their house salad is amazing. The Waygu skewers are a must. Our waiter Mario did a stellar job, he did a good job with recommendations and checking on us throughout. The ambiance has sort of a hipster vibe, not necessarily my favorite but somewhat upscale and on the smaller side.I will say the popcorn appetizer was not good, the popcorn was stale. Other than that everything was really good, especially the steaks and meat options. This place is expensive, unless you go during happy hour and get the burger or wagyu skewers, it's affordable and delicious!I would go back.Happy eating."
"This place has the best breakfast, can't decide on our favorite meal yet, we try something new each time we're here. This chef knows how to cook an over easy egg!! Their ability to create all these dishes and each one has been delicious! Service is always good, super friendly staff. Looking forward to our next time in!"
"YUM! PrimoHoagies is 12/10. I tried a couple different subs and they were all delicious in different ways !! Truly so many sandwiches to choose from it was hard to decide. There isn't much room to sit inside the store so would recommend take out. Staff was nice and answered all my questions."
"Here's an idea for a Winter Date night in Denver...First Stop: The Four Seasons' EDGE Restaurant (this is where you will valet your car for the evening). Make sure to get your valet ticket validated at the restaurant & parking will only be $15.Once valeted, we headed inside the hotel to EDGE. We were seated at a velvet booth in EDGE's main dining room. The restaurant's aesthetic was upscale & modern with clean lines & clear spaces. Our server, Austin was outstanding & ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. We started out our meal with some bubbles & seasonal cocktails. Here are my favorite things to order at EDGE. Start with the Torched Salmon Nigiri made with Tamari Glaze & EDGE "Steak" Spice. The torched surface of the salmon catalyzed the deep, rich umami flavor of the tamari glaze all the while maintaining the clean flavor of the fish. The salmon was so tender, buttery, & melted in our mouths. The Maryland Crab Soup was made with Fennel, Brûléed Orange & Bay Crab. The soup was decadent & thick on the tongue with lumps of sweet bay crab throughout. The Babe Farms Beet Rose was made with Pear Butter, Pretzel, Marcona Almond Crumble, Dill, Raspberry Dust & Buttermilk Horseradish Dressing (this beet dish always blows us away). Visually stunning and delicious! The creamy dressing & butter completely tempered the earthiness of the beet which resulted in a cool sweetness that we couldn't get enough of. The smooth texture of the beet against the crunch of the pretzel & nut crumbles was divine. The 14 oz Bison Ribeye had a sweet undertone and was incredibly tender. The Point Reyes Bleu Cheese topping took the ribeye to the next level taste wise. My 6oz Filet was phenomenal - just look at the gorgeous coloring of the meat. It was cooked perfectly. Austin recommended the Brussel Sprouts as a side & they were great.Always get one of EDGE'S smash desserts for dessert (they taste just as good as they look). EDGE's pastry chefs are amazing & are constantly updating the dessert menu. I smashed the white chocolate pumpkin with a spoon to unveil fluffy mousse & cranberry filling. A sweet ending to an unforgettable dining experience at EDGE.Following dinner, we headed over to Ellie Caulkins Opera House for a show (it was only a 3-minute walk) - we saw the Nutcracker and it was fabulous. After the show, we walked back to the Four Seasons to get our car from the valet. That's a wrap on date night!"
"Lovely ambience, amazing service and great food! We came here for dinner on a weekend evening and this place was packed, we were a group of 6 and made a reservation in advance! My favorites were the gnocchi, chicken parmigiana and the desserts. Their house bread was lovely, we ordered more and I was stuffed! My husband got the lobster pasta and they live flamed it at the table, it was nice. The gnocchi was amazing, best I've had in a long time. Desserts were great, specially the tiramisu and the cheese ice cream with the pie. We also got a couple bottles of wine for the table and they had a good selection and an in house Somalier. I really liked this place and will be back!"
"The pork chop was absolutely perfect! Cooked to perfection. Delicious elote on the side. Ordered the potato croquettes and they were lovely. Definitely will eat here again."
"Came here for my dad's birthday on a Monday night. I made a reservation on opentable however it was fairly empty, so they were able to take us a bit early. I had mentioned in the reservation that it was my dad's birthday and they had confetti on the table, with a birthday menu and gave him a free birthday dessert. Talk about above and beyond! The front entrance was a tad weird with the curtain but I loved the vibe in the restaurant. Great for an intimate meal or business function. Valet is right out front as well. Shana was our waitress, and she was amazing! Gave us a meat tour to explain the different cuts. My parents aren't big drinkers, so this meal was all about the food. The bone marrow was quite plentiful, I didn't need a started, but I did start with the French onion soup and was stuffed. Hands down the best item we had was the petite filet and the scalloped potatoes! For three people having a starter, with three mains and two side would be enough. We had two starters and three sides which was alot and we had a ton of leftovers. *Love the fact the steak is not cooked in butter! We were very impressed and I plan on coming back for special occasions. Overall Strong 5/5 stars!"
"Straight down to business today folks. I've been dying to dine @jackswoodfire since its opening about two years ago. Last month we celebrated a good friend's birthday and I can tell you everything was excellent! My Australian AA-9 Wagyu Strip was amazing! Tender and seasoned properly. We decided to have our first dinner in Denver here to celebrate my birthday and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. The building itself is beautiful and has floor to ceiling windows that are breathtaking. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the team. The host Moses had us take a seat while our table was being prepared with a thoughtful birthday card signed by the staff. Elegant little touches like that are always appreciated. We were impressed by how beautiful the restaurant is and to see the chefs working in the open kitchen which always seems special. Our server Gene welcomed us and explained some of the highlights of the menu. We knew what we wanted to eat and placed our orders including a glass of Champagne for each of us.Edwyn decided that we couldn't come to one of the best steak restaurants in the country without ordering a bottle of wine, so sommelier Doug helped us in choosing one of the best wines we've ever tasted, called Bergstrom, which was from our favorite wine region, the Willamette Valley in Oregon.Gene brought us the most delicious amuse-bouche which was the perfect way to begin our spectacular culinary adventure. For our starter, we ordered crispy sushi tuna bites with Serrano pepper and avocado and spicy aioli that we're still dreaming about. Edwyn decided on the roasted sea bass and I chose the wagyu filet cooked to a perfect medium rare, and every dish was superb.Throughout the evening, Gene and other members of the staff stopped by to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying ourselves which we undoubtedly were.Their combination of attention to detail, level of professionalism and refinement, their commitment to customer service, the incredible food and wine, and the genuine hospitality were undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our trip. Our sincere thanks to the entire talented team for making our visit so memorable and special. Now we know why it's one of the best restaurants in the country.

A5 is a great steak restaurant in the downtown/Union Station area. Expensive but worth it. Chilled oysters came with, I think, shaved horseradish, mignonette, cocktail sauce, and a lemon with netting. East and West coast were available; and only $2.50 each during happy hour (normally $4-5 depending on quantity). Small issue: there were some broken shell fragments in the oysters. They need to be a bit more careful when shucking. Bavette steak: cooked to the right temp, juicy, and tender. Good sear and charring. Good cut of meat, no gristle. They charge a 20% service fee instead of a tip. It's not hidden because it's mentioned on their website and on their paper menu. They make it clear that they don't expect anything on top of that. They said that the 20% is split between front of house and kitchen, and that any additional tip is given to the front of house.

A lovely patio lunch with a Denver friend while we were escaping the blast furnace heat of the Phoenix summer. Two apple almond arugula salads (one shrimp, one chicken) for the ladies and a Southern Sunrise breakfast with biscuits and gravy, fried eggs and sausage links for the gentleman. Service was excellent, food was healthy and fresh. Portions were big! This is a good neighborhood place with quality ingredients.

We went to Edge for lunch. This is a beautiful restaurant located inside the Four seasons hotel. They were very accommodating with my requests for my salad, the waiter understood and followed very carefully all the modifications for my salad.Im not a burrito eater but my friend's vegetarian burrito looked delicious.

Holy Italian!!! One of the best pasta meals I have had outside of Italy. It is no wonder why I always see a packed patio with people enjoying their meal. We had a group of 5 adults and made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner. There were quite a few full tables, a few empty ones when we sat down but by the time we left it was crowded. Our waitress was AMAZING! She was a professional, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and had the sommelier come to the table to help us select a wine. Her recommendations were on point - not sure you can get a bad meal here though. The amount was perfect for all of us. I ordered the short rib ravioli and my husband got the truffle pasta. I preferred the truffle pasta (you can never go wrong with truffle) so we switched. I could have eaten my weight in the truffle pasta dish, it was Unreal!!!The bread appetizer was also good but the pasta was the star of the meal. It isn't an inexpensive place so be prepared to pay but the portion is hefty as well. My only complaint was the restroom is in the neighborhood of hotel and down a set of stairs. It seems like a long and not super safe way to get to the restroom especially for those that have consumed a bit of wine.

This place was fantastic! We came here for our Anniversary we had wine, apps, mains, and dessert and everything was fantastic! Thank you for making it a great memory. We will definitely be back!
Visit Restaurant Page"I had no idea this restaurant was in Arvada! It is very romantic and the service was great. The Husbeast got the salmon which came with an amazing bourbon sauce. I had the scallops. They were cooked well but I would have liked maybe a lemon garlic butter sauce over them? We also had the crab and artichoke dip. We did feel like the artichoke really took over the flavor. Crab and artichoke are two strong flavors to put together. Also, it came out a bit cold? I think it would be awesome if it came in like a mini skillet, still sizzling, less artichoke. My au gratin potatoes were delicious! I liked that it came in its own remachan, like a special little potato dish for me!Pro-tip: recommend a reservation but there appeared to be a decent amount of bar seating too! There is a nice big parking lot so easy parking."
"Chris was our server and was amazing! He gave awesome recommendations and was super attentive and friendly! Food was also great, we had 1/2 order onion rings (you can ask for a massive 1/2 order which still was a lot), salads, and crispy calamari for starters. Dinner was a delicious orange marinade salmon (great!) and hubby had prime rib. He said the seasoning on the prime rib was different, but still decent. Desserts looked good but we were stuffed. A bit touristy and crowded since it's next to the Coors Stadium, you never know with places like this if the food is going to be OK because of the location, but actually, Chophouse was pretty good!"
"One of my new favorite restaurants in Denver! I dream about steak ALL the time, as it's something I love to eat but don't create enough opportunities for. I've been wanting to try Carne since it opened, so my friend and I came here for early happy hour. It was empty at 4pm obviously, but I recommend making reservations regardless. We both shared Oysters, Beef Tiradito, and Fondue. The Tiradito, as recommended by our waiter, was incredible. Disappointed by the Fondue, but let's pretend I didn't eat any. The rosemary-black pepper rubbed 8oz Bavette with chimichurri was the highlight. Perfectly cooked medium rare and definitely my go-to food when I need a pick-me-up. The inside of the restaurant is spacious. The high ceilings feel luxurious. Lots of staff seem newer, but everyone is nice. I enjoyed the cocktails, ordering one of each from the happy hour menu. I'd be curious to try more items on the menu, but I think the Beef Tiradito and Bavette were an unbeatable combination. I look forward to coming back!"
"I loved this place for so many reasons! 1) Tons of healthy + gluten-free options. 2) Fun mocktails! 3) Great little patio.I will definitely be coming back here with friends, as my salad was amazing and the drinks were great. Service was quick, and it's a fun spot."
"I really enjoyed my first Bastien's experience tonight! Bastien's is known as home of the sugar steak which means they are known for cooking steak with a sugar rub.*Spoiler alert - it's delicious!* We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, and enjoyed a great old school steakhouse dinner. In addition to steak, Bastien's serves burgers, chicken, pork, entree salads, some pasta dishes. and salmon. I tried the steakhouse burger (with slim fries), and really enjoyed it! It was delicious and juicy. My partner got the classic NY strip with garlic mashed potatoes. There are vegetarian options here (not much vegan), and a huge cocktail list! The atmosphere is cute with Christmas lights and a vintage feel. Pro tip: definitely call ahead a book a reservation! Overall- 4/5!"
"Great locals kind of place. Reasonably priced for food and drinks. I loved the loaded baked potato and the filet was decent and priced right. Worth a visit for sure."
"Excellent local bar/restaurant spot. They have it all -- lunch, happy hour, live bands at night. The food is pretty dang good and bartenders/servers are always awesome, And for once they actually TELL customers about added gratuity! So many spots are so sneaky about it & try to capitalize on greed. Appaloosa does NOT! Good on you all! Their Caesar salad dressing g is excellent! Yes, it comes with a bit of anchovy and it's perfect. This dressing has anchovies as a main ingredient, it surprises me how many people aren't aware of that fact. Another fun fact - Caesar salad was not created where you might think. It was invented in Tijuana, Mexico. But, the chef was Italian so there ya go. They have a nice carpaccio dish too. Oh and a super yum Cooperstown Cabernet barrel finished Rye bourbon whiskey that is to die for. Recommend allll the way!"
"This was a special first Valentine's Day with my partner because he decided to take me to West 29th--one of his favorite restaurants. Overall, it was a fun experience and lovely $100 per couple menu. Service was weird, though. Called to say we'd be a little late. On the first attempt, I got the annoying dial-up modem noise. On the second attempt, someone picked up then hung up on me. On the third attempt, the host who picked up the phone was curt and borderline rude. When I mentioned this to my partner, he said he's never been impressed by their customer service. Disappointing, but that made me more excited for the food, which turned out to be fabulous. I had the Beet Ravioli, NY Strip, and Valentine Cake. All were beautifully presented and delicious, paired perfectly with their Malbec. Would get any of those dishes again, and I'd actually love to come back and try more items on their regular menu... especially the Gorgonzola Stroganoff!"
"I was impressed with Elway's. I came with a group of friends on the recommendation of one friend's father and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is lovely and one particular thing I liked about it was that it was lively but not deafening. For some reason, every high end steakhouse in NYC is so loud and filled with finance & tech bros trying to out-testosterone each other than you can't hear the person next to you. Elway's, by contrast, although filled with the Colorado equivalent of tech/finance bros-- but wearing cowboy hats-- had a good energy level but I could hear people across the table from me. Service was top-notch from start to finish. Scott was our waiter and he was exceptional...one member of our party has particular likes and dislikes and he handled everything with grace and aplomb. Matching the service was the food and drink. My rye old fashioned was spectacular. For food, I started by splitting a Caesar salad and that was wonderful. Then my 12 oz NY Strip came out and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. The sides were great too, especially the mashed potatoes, asparagus and spinach. I wasn't thrilled about the brussels sprouts as I prefer mine a little crisper but that's not the way they were prepared so I can't fault them. For dessert, my husband and I split a key lime pie that had a special anniversary message on it. It was a nice surprise and the tartness of the pie was a great coda to the meal. This was an exceptional meal from start to finish. I'd definitely go back...especially if someone else was paying because it is not cheap. But if you want a memorable place for a special occasion, you can't go wrong with Elway's."
"Wonderful! I must stop! Friendly service. Good food!Had duck wings with their tavern sauce. Oh my. So so so good! Had a batter on them with a wonderful crunch! Prime rib special. 32 oz medium rare only with an au jus that was amazing. A pound baked potato and perfectly cooked green beans. Desert was amazing. A port sampler. 10,20,30,40 year with a rich chocolate cake accompanied by Gorgonzola and walnuts. Turned into a masterful combination! What a delight. We shared the prime rib. I thought she said 18 oz. Not 32 oz. Oh well no regrets. Usually I do not order prime rib out because I have not found anywhere that is as good as mine. This is the exception. The horse radish sauce was perfect."
"This was my first time dining at a farm-to-table restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable! The Old Fashioned cocktails were expertly crafted, exactly how a classic Old Fashioned should taste. The steaks were perfectly cooked--juicy and tender, with a beautifully pink center for a spot-on medium. The asparagus was done just right, with a vibrant color and perfect texture. The chili served with blue cornbread as an appetizer was a delightful touch.Despite how busy the restaurant was when we visited, the service was extraordinary and top-notch.The ambiance of both the dining area and the bar was captivating.I highly recommend dining here!"
"We came here for pizza on a rainy day, which we took to go . I guess you could say the pizza is the best option if you don't want to drive all the way to Littleton/Denver. Their pizza options were limited to speciality pizzas, most of which were odd combinations (think broccoli and chicken) or didn't have protein on them. We ended up settling on the Boston and added pancetta. They said the pizza would be ready in 25 minutes, but we got there in 20 and it was fresh and ready. The pizza was unfortunately a bit soggy even fresh. I am not sure if it was because the pizza wasn't cooked enough or the spinach on top made it watery. The crust was doughy. I would say this pizza would be below average if it weren't for the location and lack of options. For what you pay for a pizza here (especially if you want to add on a protein) the price doesn't reflect the value."
"What an excellent experience! It's a spectacular location with a great view over parts of the city. The staff is excellent and well educated and capable. Our server, Mason, was attentive and well versed in the food We have the tenderloin, the short rib, and the halibut at our table. They accommodated a birthday celebration as well. Desserts were amazing! And unexpectedly delicious. Tarta de queso vascaCrema de chocolate!!Looking forward to returning to this amazing restaurant."
