"The other location is still my favorite. The service is just that much better. The food was great and my crawfish yabby Cajun medium spice level assuaged my craving. The snow crab leg cluster so delish. The place is clean and spacious. Parking was touch as the lot is shared with Casa Bonita. But it was a good dinner."

Visit Restaurant Page"Total disclosure - we drove to Tennyson and planned to stop into a totally different place (based on more amazing Yelp reviews) and had to pivot last moment. In situations like this, Yelp is amazing. I mean, it's amazing anyway and it's literally how we decide where to eat. We never skip checking the reviews. And like then, we pulled out the app, zeroed in on places near us and literally walked out one door, down a block or so and landed happily at at the bar inside Beau Thai. If you've read any of my reviews, you know I love the bar. This was no different and sitting there, you often see how things (really) operate. Beau Thia did not disappoint. They had a team of two running the entire front of the house - and without flaw. They were on point, friendly, calm and efficient. Super impressed. We shared plates, like we often do when trying a new place. We started with gyoza, added some green curry and also shared pad thai. OMG. Every last morsel we ate was so incredibly well prepared. Not too spicy but spicy enough to awaken your taste buds (medium spicy). Holy cow. I'm in love with the creamy green curry. My partner is a massive pad thai fan and love this as well. We will def be back. Reading over some of the less than stellar reviews makes me wonder if they were at the same place we were. For us, this was an easy 5 stars."
"Had lunch with the gals and I ordered a mojarra frita. Was dreaming of it and had it plain with no tortillas or sauce. They fried it to perfection and it was so delish. The avocados were yum and not mushy. The tomato was fresh and crisp. Fries were well seasoned and not too salty which I appreciate. The server brought a plate for bones. And the rice this time had a great flavor. It was cooked in something because the taste was infused in the rice. Clean and bright in the restaurant. And they turned the air down a mite as it was freezing. Server polite and friendly. So glad we came,"
"Tried to book a rezzie around 5pm on a friday and got a 9pm rezzie. walked in around 6 something and sat on the couch in the front and ordered from there. a little uncomfortable to eat with a coffee table especially being so high end but it workedGyoza- 5 small pieces. $26 apple slices, creamy sauce, herbs and gyoza. it was a burst of good flavor for sure. Black truffle mac and cheese $24: really good esp when hot. good portion, almost an entree portionhamachi jalapeno $20 something? 6 very thin slices but very very fresh and tastyFilet flight 12 oz total- 4 oz each $110: prime rib was really tasty, wagyu was great, grass fed was still tasty. i really like the centers and medium rare was fabulous6 cookies for $12 was absolutely fabulous. really tiny cookie muffin things, milk chocolate, white chocolate just oozes into your mouth. Sooooo good fresh.Servers were very friendlyOverall great experience. love the ambiance and food was good. obvi just really high end and pricey!"
"Lol omg, came here after a hard day of handling the daily trash thrown at me. Let me say... the staff here is great. When I say, I came in with my husband and we were ready to drink and eat happy hour food... we came and conquered. We enjoyed the strong margs, glad I didn't get the gigantic one. Maybe another day. I liked the fried tacos, and we ordered the chicharrones and dipped these little guys in the green chili and the queso!! Whew. Don't doubt it, just try it. Just call it the low carb option. However, my husband can smash through their chips and salsa like a beast. I literally saw him destroy 2-3 baskets himself. I had to stop cause my jaw started hurting. I see the other people talking trash about this places food, but I would definitely come here and eat again and enjoy the food and drinks. No questions. No wonder why I see so many locations around town. Oh, and even when they're busy. They're quick on service. Give it a try, they're just friendly folk."
"Still a great place for tacos and carnitas. It's great to see the original owner is still cooking and running around! I was hoping to get my usual buche tacos, but we were informed that they no longer serve buche as the new population of the very much gentrified neighborhood isn't interested in the popular and traditional Mexican food. I'm hoping my review speaks to the new tenants of the neighborhood in hopes that other things such as menudo doesn't also fall off of the menu. Instead of contributing to the fall of a historically Latinx/Xicano neighborhood, I ask that you please support, uplift, and uphold the traditions (in this case, food) of the area."
"Coming on a Wednesday night for date night and we didn't need a reservation. Being from Southern California this is very decent California Mexican food (not traditional Mexican food). Love the theme of the restaurant - very beachy and reminds me of home!! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, we were seating almost immediately. Our server was on top of it! Bringing out our drinks and food very quickly! It all tasted quick good and had delicious flavor. I did take off one star because of the the strange fees along with the lack of chips and salsa. That is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant.Overall I would come back! 4/5 stars"
"I should have written a review of Crab & Shell Months ago. I never thought I'd see the day where I frequent a restaurant weekly but when I tell you, I frequent this place WEEKLY, it means you should go. Not only is this a local, family-owned business, but the food is delicious. My roots trace back to Louisiana and I am a huge fan of the seafood boil. I had been on the search for a decent seafood boil place in Denver and had been disappointed by many different places. I think the Yelp algorithm must've heard my call because when this spot opened up, it suggested I try it out because it was new. I also LOVED that this restaurant was close to my home in Cap Hill. My first reaction when i walked in was how clean the restaurant was and how it didn't smell like seafood when you walked in the door. In the warmer months, they open the front garage-door windows which makes for a pretty great atmosphere. So enough about my thrill for this spot and more about the quality of food. On a scale of 1-5 the food is consistently a 5. I only get the boils and I build my own and I go with the house blend sauce either medium or hot. The sauce is delicious. They put a ton of fresh garlic in the sauce which is why I think it tastes so good. Each boil comes with 2 potatoes and a piece of corn. It's always hot. The seafood is always clean and tastes fresh. The prices are super reasonable too. I think my favorite thing about this restaurant is how friendly the staff is. I go quite frequently and am always greeted with a smile and a hello. When I leave it's the same but with goodbyes and "I'll see you next times." Everyone there is kind and hard-working. When you're there, ask the servers about their story and I think you will be surprised. You'll, at the very least, have a lovely conversation. I can't think of a better place to review than Crab & Boil and I truly hope they stay in open for many years to come."
"Seafood in landlocked Colorado? Well there's no way it can be that good, right? *insert extremely loud and obnoxious buzzer noise* WRONG! I am not going to lie, I set my expectations on the lower side because I've had quite a bit of bad seafood in Colorado but I was blown away with everything we ordered. From the exterior and interior, Fish N Beer is unassuming. It gives a very relaxed, neighborhood eatery type of vibe. The food on the other hand is phenomenal. We ordered the salmon and octopus and everything from how they were cooked to the sides (the potatoes with the octopus were SO good) to the sauce were amazing. There was not a single thing I thought was lacking with the dishes. To top it all off, I'm not a big dessert person, but the key lime pie was perfectly sweet and was delicious. Our server was also on top of everything and we never had to wait for a single thing. I can't wait to go back!"
"I honestly think that this place is very good. It reminds me of a ton of Mexican restaurants in Arizona. No frills. Margaritas are great too."
"We stopped in tonight for a birthday dinner with six of us. I have always enjoyed this place but have not been there since covid. This was a fabulous dinner experience and we are all glad we choose this restaurant. The colorful lights and fish pond is a nice view when you enter the building. The spiral staircase up to the dining room is unique and very cool. It's very attractive and wives a wonderful feel to the experience. We were seated immediately and our server was a wonderful names QiQi. She was fun, friendly, helpful, prompt and downright spunky. She is a fabulous server that really made our dining experience all that much better. She is upbeat and chatty and we all loved her. The decor inside the restaurant is fascinating and fun to look at. They did a great job with the Japanese decor. Now, of course, no review would be complete without discussing the food. Wow, covers it. We had everything from pineapple saki, hot saki, egg rolls, seafood teriyaki, shrimp fried rice, veggie lo mein and a few meals I can't spell. They were hot, freshly made, well presented and delicious. This dinner was worth every dime we paid for it and we will gladly return in the near future. Thank you QiQi for making this birthday dinner a complete success. Ps. We received a free warm Saki as a check in bonus."

OH MY WORD!!! What did we stumble on... so it's a seafood restaurant and it's kind of a make your own" seafood boil on the table. ! We bought 3 pounds of shrimp, all different spices and heat (which you can pick) AND THEY GIVE YOU A BIB lol. They come dump them in the table and you make a mess! The add on items are potatoes, noodles, rice, corn on the Cobb. Etc. Yes yes and YESS!!

Loved the drunken noodles here. Staff were great, and the restaurant wasn't too busy on a Wednesday so it was easy to get a booth. Great dinner!

Did a google search for Mexican restaurants. This place came up along our route and it's open till 10 pm so we stopped here for dinner. They give you free chips and salsa with free refills! Portions were large and we all had leftovers. Heard they had the best quesadillas birria tacos so I decided to try it. It was crispy, the meat was tender and the consume was good, not greasy. My friends got a variety of foods. They got some type of steak, combo platter, veggie burrito, deluxe burrito. Everyone enjoyed all their food. It was served quickly and has a cool vibe. The server was friendly though he didn't speak much English.

We decided to have our first dinner in Denver here to celebrate my birthday and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. The building itself is beautiful and has floor to ceiling windows that are breathtaking. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the team. The host Moses had us take a seat while our table was being prepared with a thoughtful birthday card signed by the staff. Elegant little touches like that are always appreciated. We were impressed by how beautiful the restaurant is and to see the chefs working in the open kitchen which always seems special. Our server Gene welcomed us and explained some of the highlights of the menu. We knew what we wanted to eat and placed our orders including a glass of Champagne for each of us.Edwyn decided that we couldn't come to one of the best steak restaurants in the country without ordering a bottle of wine, so sommelier Doug helped us in choosing one of the best wines we've ever tasted, called Bergstrom, which was from our favorite wine region, the Willamette Valley in Oregon.Gene brought us the most delicious amuse-bouche which was the perfect way to begin our spectacular culinary adventure. For our starter, we ordered crispy sushi tuna bites with Serrano pepper and avocado and spicy aioli that we're still dreaming about. Edwyn decided on the roasted sea bass and I chose the wagyu filet cooked to a perfect medium rare, and every dish was superb.Throughout the evening, Gene and other members of the staff stopped by to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying ourselves which we undoubtedly were.Their combination of attention to detail, level of professionalism and refinement, their commitment to customer service, the incredible food and wine, and the genuine hospitality were undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our trip. Our sincere thanks to the entire talented team for making our visit so memorable and special. Now we know why it's one of the best restaurants in the country.

We stopped into the 3 margaritas at orchard Mall after an exhausting day of Christmas shopping. Boy was this needed, and we were not disappointed! We sat up at the bar and the manager, Adrian, was able to give us a hand right away. We felt bad because we had absolutely interrupted him with allergy related questions but he was just incredible and made this a 1 of a kind experience. We tried the picante margaritas and guacamole to start- and our chips came with a homemade Molcajete salsa since I can't have cilantro. The quacamole was made table side with a lime that had been seasoned with a spicy seasoning. It was unbelievable. The molcajete sauce is made from multiple types of peppers That have been roasted and beautifully blended with roasted garlic and tomatilla. To top it off, I had the fish tacos (off menu) which consisted of grilled tilapia on flour tortillas with beans, rice, and garnishes. Adrian brought out some fresh roasted jalapeños as well to top it off. If you have a chance- please sit up at the bar- and hopefully you have Alejandro and Juan serving you. They make the experience great and have amazing suggestions, on and off the menu. Not to mention, my boyfriend was delighted when we all cheered the Army beating the Navy with a free shot for everyone at the bar! This is a fun spot to go to after a day of shopping, stopping in for dinner or just grabbing happy hour before a movie at the AMC theater. They have happy hour everyday from 3-6 pm and 9pm-close. Not to mention- this is very much a family owned and operated business and the service still reflects this! The 3 guys who started the 3 margaritas are still connected to the business. The bar tender Alejandro and the manager Adrian are the nephews of the owners. And if you are lucky, you can see their mom checking in on tables as well!

Love the spot for many reasons:- Location. Located in LoHi, conveniently located and close to other spots to hang out in the area afterwards if you go there for a weekend dinner- Service: one of the warmest service I've ever experienced, even if you don't speak Spanish. The warmth of the service and the humor make you want to come back and claim it to be your neighborhood spot.- Drink: best margarita I've ever had in Denver, even though there are so many good Mexican restaurants!! do you have to come here to try.- My favorite dish is the shrimp. I've been coming back and ordering it three times in a row.- Sopapillas: I love the sopapilla for dessert. It was fried to a perfectly puffy and crispy texture with sugar on the outside however, it is not overly sweet. It was served with a side of honey, and it was just absolutely delightful. It also looks like a puffy fish. Very cute for the Instagram food porn

The highlight of my meal was actually the margarita I ordered that they shake at the table... everything else was just meh. My husband and I ordered chips and guacamole to share and each got a few tacos. The guacamole was very simple and not really worth the cost... it was missing something! I tried a red snapper taco and a birria taco. Both were fine but once again missing something! Maybe some salt would have done the trick for everything! There's too many good taco spots around to come back here; especially since the service was lackluster as well!
Visit Restaurant Page"Probably the best meal I've had since living in Denver for the last 7 years. We went with friends and decided to splurge on the Omakase and so happy we did. It wasn't cheap , but had zero buyers remorse. It was 10 plates and by the last plate we were pleasantly full. I wish I could remember what each plate was, but once again hands down my favorite meal in Denver. Service was impeccable. The waitress went over the menu and told us what everything was and provided recommendations on what we should do. Would recommend if you love sushi and willing to spend the $ a perfect place to go on a date night."
"Absolutely loved this place!!It's a small swanky fine dine restaurant serving some really good farm to table food!I would come back in a heart beat. I had the grilled duck breast & it was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the gnocci and loved it.It's not terribly expensive for an upscale place- expect to pay 30-40ish per entree & of course a salad, soup, drinks, dessert or an appetizer is going to be more. The service was great and our server did a good job. But here's the bottom line for me- my entree was fantastic, a really really good meal. The best meal I've had in Colorado so far..If you're in Erie Denver looking for some great food, look no further!! This place is good, highly recommended!Happy eating."
"On a cold Monday night, I met a friend here for grandma dinner at 5pm. We were the only ones for 5pm but then the house was full around 6ish. It was also really cool that the James Beard curator Paul Qui was there.Things to note:1) Prefixed 10 course menu 2) Pre-pay on Tock but for drinks3) No adult liberations but I didn't care bc you know dry January but I wonder why and they had some really good mocktails. Is this BYOB?!!!! No idea - but take me back to Philly where this is a thing4) Japanese/French fusion. But I do not know how much true fusion was happening vs there was some Asian inspired and French inspired dishesThe Food and Service:1) overall - I had a beautiful experience but this wasn't one dish that stood out except for the Filipino inspired oxtail and Coconut Pannacota for dessert, so it wasn't that French or Japanese! 2) not a huge fan of the duck tongue dish bc it was greasy but really enjoyed the duck main3) relaxed atmosphere for a higher end dinner with just a few tables and one larger one for a group of 6-8/104) service was on point throughout the night I liked this new spot - or at least new to me and I live in this neighborhood. If I was to compare this to other fine dining experiences - it's def on par but it does not blow my expectations. I think I need to come back for their Filipino inspired menu bc it seems to be their thing thing and it's one of the very very few Asian inspired fined dining. So come, support all the good people in this kitchen, and happy lunar New Years."
"It's been awhile since we have eaten her and it seems the menu has improved as well as the food. The 16th street mall, Colorado's #1 tourist attraction is in the midst of a massive, much needed, multi year renovation. Blue Agave happens to be on the first section of this project to be completed. The outdoor seating area is easily four times its original size and it's very inviting. Lots of plants and two and four tops that could be configured for 6-12 tops if they were so inclined. The service was great. Seated quickly and no wait. Our server was on top of things and kept us hydrated and the food coming. We started with queso fundido. This is really tasty indeed. Green chilis. Multiple types of cheeses and chips and tortillas to scoop with. Very delicious. We ordered the Santa Fe Cobb and the chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious and made with quality ingredients. The salad was loaded with protein although I don't ask for any. Loved the fresh avocado and boiled eggs. The food is great, service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a summer evening on the patio."
"Absolutely love love love this new restaurant opening in Uptown! It's a fantastic addition to the movement of upscale, refined Mexican cuisine focusing on traditional ingredients that seems to be spreading in Denver. The space is fun, modern and trendy, the service is friendly and memorable (same as at Lucina -- the staff's first location), and the drinks and food are fantastic. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. My recommendation is to start with the selection of salsas and some cocktails, try the ceviche (which has a perfect spicy kick), get a couple of small dishes (definitely the lengua and something with a mole), and finish with the pork or lamb main(s). It's all amazing!"
"After chatting it up about J.Boog, The Green, Aiea, Pearl City, Back Alley, Nico's and Poke by the Pound my expectations kept climbing. Solid braddah at the counter and unko chopping up the ahi. Could've spent all day talking story and everything boiled down to my combination spicy ahi and ahi limu bowl...Yes, yes, and yes! If you took everything from Oahu and mixed it in bowl, this would be on point! Reminds me of the afternoons I spent chillin' on the bench at Japanese Truck No. 7 in Hale'iwa or hanging out across the street from Kualoa Ranch or even grabbing the anniversary poke at Foodland and planting my tail in KBay. These are the memories this bowl evoked, yet here we are in Denver. haha! Yes, the spicy ahi has a kick to it and leaves your tongue tingling a bit. The ahi limu tames that spice and offers a hint of Hawaiian pink salt that gives you a taste of Hawaii.Service is spot on and since this restaurant is part of the Denver Health building off Broadway, you get a super clean setup as they have only been opened a couple months. Remember to grab your Li Hing goodies on the candy wall too! Those flavors brought back memories of childhood too! Enjoy Aloha Friday specials but otherwise come down for a fresh bowl of poke. As the Terminator once said "I'll be back!" Oh yes, I will! Big mahalos for landing in Colorado!"
"We have frequented another 7 Leguas Mexican Grille, which we loved, on a previous trip to Denver. The food quality seems to vary slightly as we ordered some of the same entrees, but they did not seem up to par. This location also was not as crowded or packed as the other location, which is a plus if you are looking for a more laid back dining experience. The service here is efficient. The complimentary chips, salsa and Mexican coleslaw are a highlight here. I could simply fill up on them alone. We ordered the Veggie Burrito and the Sopapilla Rellena. Both were fine, nothing exceptional."
"Walked over from our hotel. Wanted to sit outside but the outdoor seating was unappealing especially since an urban camper was planted nearby. So we grabbed an indoor booth. The server was friendly and moved things along but not too fast. We started with a beer and when you check-in with Yelp you get a house margarita for 1 cent! We both ordered the combo platters with enchiladas, tacos, and tostados. All were very good. The pork taco had a bit of heat. They do not provide chips and salsa as a free starter - inflation? Also we discovered too late that they have a salsa bar that you can use to enhance your meals. Maybe we missed this because the menu was via a QR code which I usually find is harder to get the big picture of the menu. Easier to miss items.."
"I really liked this place, I can see why it's so busy!! We came around 12:10 (Prime time) the place was packed. However they were able to get us seated in about 10 minutes. They immediately give you chips and salsa, and the salsa has a great flavor. The food came out pretty quickly (Under 15 minutes) and it was delicious.I really liked my NY steak & shrimp it was very flavorful, and my wife loved her pozole. We had to try this spot because whenever we drive by it's so busy. The have plenty of seating, the place is a big Mexican restaurant. There's a lot of entrees to choose from, the prices are reasonable. Servers check on you multiple times.I have nothing negative to say. I will add to crowd and come back from time to time. Recommended and happy eating!"
"I hadn't utilized Fel Fel in a long time until I finally went here to grab a plate of food from it tonight. Glad I did!!This is one of the best eateries in the very neighborhood I reside in. I can walk here from my house.I have to say that the last occasion was at least 3 years ago. I think I utilized it during the heavy-duty COVID time. I remember getting an annoying stomachache after eating their food so maybe this discouraged me from going here. It sure had been a long time since. It was time that I tried them again. The ordering system is a bit different now. Before COVID, I had utilized it a few times. I do remember walking up to the ordering counter and interacted with a live person to place orders. They now have several kiosks. I kind of like this system better (not that I don't want to talk to a person.)Kiosks truly walk you through the menu thoroughly. There are no confusions. They even make some recommendations (as to which hummus goes well with the plate or bowl you are ordering etc.) I actually went against all the recommendations the machine made and went with what I wanted (it is the rebellious side of me!!) Instead of the spicy hummus, I went with the non-spicy (the spicy one is too spicy for me; I remember my mouth was on fire when I had the spicy!); instead of the Mediterranean salad, I went with the Baba Ganoush, instead of the tabouleh, I went with the garlic sauce and so on....I got me a little add-on at the end: 2 falafels for $1. I also signed up for the rewards (I cannot wait to accumulate points for free food in the future!) Once paid, the lady who was standing to the right of the kiosks told us (the diners) that she'd call everyone's name upon their food being ready. The receipt produced by the kiosk even showed the estimated time of food being ready. The same lady who was standing right next to the kiosks called my name at the exact time on the receipt. She politely thanked me and handed me my food. Before I took off, I made sure everything was on the plate. Yup, everything looked good. When I was leaving, the same lady thanked me again and this time with a big smile! Great service indeed! As soon as I got home, I started my dinner. By the way, what I got was Lamb Shawarma plate with regular (non-spicy) hummus, baba ganoush, garlic sauce and two falafels. Although the meat was a bit dry, everything tasted really good. The smokiness in the baba ganoush, rich garlic sauce, hummus tasted very traditional, and falafels were nice and crispy. This plate made my night for sure!***Note***What I appreciate about this restaurant is the fact that they care about our health. I noticed three messages on the restaurant wall when I was there and they said, "99% of our menu is gluten free", "avocado oil used in all of our marinades" and no hormones no antibiotics". Personally, I only cook food with single sourced extra virgin oil (and occasionally avocado oil. Three healthiest oils are extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil and coconut oil; I do my best to avoid PUFA oils as they are extremely unhealthy.) Although I can consume gluten, I focus on gluten free foods. And no hormones/no antibiotics? Heck yes!! They all resonate with me! And the restaurant inside was absolutely spotless clean!!!"
"Don't miss out on this place! Parking is easy to pass, so watch out for the Yummy Hot Pot lit sign on the building. We went on a Tuesday and there were several tables already dining at about 5:15pm. I felt lucky to go at this time to beat the crowd that eventually came. It's AYCE, you tick box everything you want and there are so many veggie options. I also went to try the clams since it was limited 3 per order so I was curious. The only hot appetizer available were gyoza, which we did not try this time around. White rice is self serve but different types of noodles are also available for other base options.I got the mushroom base broth, my boyfriend got the pork broth. Then the menu was taken away. We received the most beautiful basket of ingredients and two plates of meat we ordered. Both the pork belly and the beef were very thinly sliced and there was a lot of it on the plates. We dove right in and right away I loved everything. The most outstanding were the meats. They were tasty in the broth only without the sauces but also just great quality and thawed properly. The clams were HUGE, heavy, but the meats inside were much smaller than you'd think. I think it was a great experience to have. I've never had clam shells that big before. The mushroom broth was definitely saltier than the pork broth. Both were still clean tasting and complimented the ingredients.Sauce bar was legit and they had anything you could imagine there. The highlight was the cilantro and the peanut sauce. You can order as you go, but unfortunately without the menu I had to go off my memory of what we originally ordered. If I missed out on any items, I didn't remember them. I'll have to remember to ask for another menu next time as a reference."
"As they almost used to say about Yogi . . . way nicer than your average bear. Most casual Mexican food spots serve pretty much the same thing: enchilada this and burrito that. But Zocalito's takes it to a higher level. Their skirt steak with Oaxacan mozzarella and their shrimp and octopus salad with avocado and cotija cheese are things you just won't find elsewhere. More like Tamayo's than Las Delicias if ya get my meaning, if ya catch my drift.Check 'em out when you want something a little different / a little better than your regular TexMex hangout. (Plus the servers are nice as can be and that's important stuff too:).Sign me.David "Con buen gusto" M"
"Are you looking for an Aesthetically pleasing restaurant with solid offerings to please your rumbly tummy, accompanied by friendly service? If so, check out this cool restaurant. They accommodated our party of 12 that strolled in without a reservation-after we saw the menu on Google. Although their max table size was an 8 person table, we were fit in with additional 4 person seating right beside. We were sat next to one of the plentiful window views which looked right out onto the highland bridge/platt river area.Food was tasty, especially the seafood offerings, the crab cakes and shrimp tacos, in particular. Drinks were delicious. Staff let us know that they were recently opened at this location, and they did a great job with us. Just a couple of mix ups with who ordered what.Note for the non pork eaters: the macaroni and cheese contains bacon which isn't listed/described on the menu.Would definitely return!"
"Sláinte, indeed! Clancy's Irish Pub has been in operation since 1973. Over 50 years in business means they're doing something right. This place rocks!Long time listener, first time caller. The locals only Irish pub has it all. Great food, affordable drinks, funky decor, huge space with multiple rooms and bars, and overall incredible vibes. Wheat Ridge has been blessed to claim Clancy's as their own for over 50 years. From the moment you walk in, you just feel like like you're in Denver's interpretation of Cheers.I popped in here after an event. I didn't know which room to snug up in because they all felt right. Ultimately I landed at the main bar. There was one server/bartender and she was doing it all! Working every room, checkin in on guests, pouring drinks, cleaning tables, etc. She was excellent!IRISH SPRING ROLLS ($9) // Corned Beef, Cabbage, Cheddar, Whiskey Mustard Sauce. Crispy on the outside, tender corned beef and cabbage on the inside. What more could a fella want? Pro tip, dip heavily in the mustard sauce. It's addicting and near habit forming. A steal at nine smackaroos.DRUNKEN IRISHMAN WINGS ($10) // 6pc Buffalo w/ Ranch. Big wing junkie here and these hit the spot. My only critiques are personal takes. For the amount of sauce they doused the wings in, I would've liked the wings in the fryer for another 30 seconds or so. Other than that, no complaints. I'll be ordering these many more times!Smithwicks for $5.75 a pint. Say less. I'm hooked after one visit. I am infatuated with longstanding local establishments like Clancy's. What a wonderful representation of what a fun, local Irish pub should be. No judgment, just good vibes, cheap drinks and great food. SOLD!"
"This place is good, certain entrees are really good, some are good and some are ok. Our favorite thing here is the birria tacos, they are fantastic. The carne asada plate is four star, I liked it, not the best but enjoyable. I also tried their smoothered carne asada burrito and I wasn't really impressed. So if you come here, I would really recommend birria entree's, for that you should be pretty happy. Chips and salsa is alright, nothing special, but it's free. The ambiance is good for a strip mall, plenty of seating, bench and tables. The service has been good, our waitress checked on us multiple times. It's a good place to have lunch, although it can take 20-30 minutes to get served.Ultimately, this mexican spot is better than most in Colorado. Happy eating!"
"4.5 stars. Came here for a networking event. It's so busy! Coming through the front, there was no one to greet anyone for like 10-15 minutes. I was feeling patient because of awesome street parking I found. Eventually I was directed to the patio where the space was reserved. The waiter assigned to our area was fantastic. Super attentive and hard working.Loved the taco station that was set up, notably the shrimp. Some of the salsas set on the tables were fairly spicy, which I enjoyed. Lots of cocktail options but mostly focused on the spicy margaritas. Didn't like the churros at the end, they were too dry. I would definitely come back again overall and hope it feels a little less chaotic!"
"I came across Country Thai via DoorDash since I was being persuaded by a DoorDash promo. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the positive reviews on Yelp and on another Facebook group I follow. I don't crave Thai food much, but once or twice a year I get a craving for the classic pad thai, pad see ew or drunken noodles, and a curry. Is this place the most amazing Thai food I have ever had in my life? No. Did it hit the spot at an amazing price? YES. And for that, it deserves a 5 in my book for hitting all the expectations. $13.95 for a huge order of drunken noodles when all the places in Denver metro were charging $22 is a huge win to me. Our favorite was the green curry. With 3 dishes, we had enough to feed two people for two meals."
"Food, service, and cocktails here are great. This is my go-to sushi spot. Their crispy tuna appetizer and lemon salmon rolls are my favorites. My only qualm is I wish they offered green tea with their beverages, I'm not a fan of Barley tea."
"Still one of my favorite places for vegetarian options including amazing vegetarian green chile. The menu is extensive whether you are a carnivore or herbivore and the drink menu and flavors follow suit. I've yet to try it but, they do offer one of my favorites as an option for a margarita - huckleberry! No one seems to know the beautify of this flavor so, I am excited to see it on the menu and will try on a future visit. Service has always been top notch. Prior to, during, and after pandemic- I visited many times and have always had a fantastic experience. Seating is diner style with booths and some tables, clean and tasteful decor and clean bathrooms. The complimentary chips are delicious - always warm and nicely salty served with side cups of salsa, cabbage slaw, and corn salad - so fresh and a great compliment to the chips. Prices are very reasonable and portions are massive (for me) so, I always end up with leftovers for a second meal making the value even better. Come give it a try and be sure to take a quart of green Chile home with you!"
"Man oh man where do I begin. By far a new favorite for sure. I ordered the fajitas and they were so good. It came out in a skillet piping hot and sizzling. So hot that I forgot it was hot and burned my arm. Smh. They give you chips and salsa to snack on while your food cooks but honestly don't need to eat that many because the food come out super fast. Had a margarita and it was great! Super refreshing and delicious and yes you can taste the alcohol in it. I have 0 complaints. I love how friendly all the staff was. I don't remember the pricing but from what I can remember it was pretty reasonable. But I am always down for paying for quality."
