EM H. "En route to Denver, I ended up sitting next to a very nice guy with whom I conversed during our flight. When I told him that we were going to be staying in Littleton during our visit, he recommended Cherry Cricket for "the best burgers in town." Cousin Aly said that she heard the same about this restaurant, so we chose to go here for our last dinner in Colorado on Monday, June 24, 2024. I was super stoked because we were able to bring Disco (Alyssa's dog) with us.We arrived shortly after 9 PM sans reservations. After a short wait, with Disco in tow, we were led straight into the patio via an outdoor gate. We had our pick of tables as only two to three were already occupied. There was a big space for dogs and kids to play on the turf. Inside appeared to be about two spacious dining rooms. The venue was well kept and tidy. Even the women's restroom was very clean.Below are the items that we ordered:FRINGS ($8.50) - We started off with this SIDE of half FRIES and half ONION RINGS to share. These were so yummy that we ordered two more full size orders of each.FRIES ($9) - Through yelp photos, we were expecting wedge fries, but were pleasantly surprised to be served regular french fries. These were good. Perhaps the STEAK FRIES are the wedge version?ONION RINGS ($9) - Excellently fresh and crispy.MUSHROOM REUBEN ($13) - This was Alyssa's order which she enjoyed.TACOS, carnitas ($13.50) - Auntie Ligaya went with the recommendation of carnitas. When she ate her tacos, she wished that she had gone with the seasoned ground beef instead. Build Your Own Burgers, LITTLE CRICKET ($9 + $2 for pretzel bun + $1.50 for smoked cheddar) - Mom and I had to go this route for sure. I mean, this is what Cherry Cricket is popular for, their burgers. Mom made the mistake of skipping out on the pretzel bun, which she regretted after seeing mine, but she still fully enjoyed her hamburger. Mine was better, I'm sure. Our fabulous server was Nick. We appreciated his humour, personal input on dishes, and patience. He took very good care of us. We will definitely ask for him when we return! That's right, you heard me - we will come back when we visit the Denver area again. Cherry Cricket serves some great food at reasonable prices. You can't beat a joint like this to bring the whole family, Fido included!"

The place was packed, and we were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was airy with clean lines and a white bookshelf wall display was the main focal point. Our server Mariah was fantastic! She recommended each item we ordered and knew the menu inside and out. The Lobster Corndogs were served with jalapeño hot sauce & smoked pepper honey. The Tuna Poke was made with avocado, sesame ponzu, green onion, yuzu kusho, & furikake rice crackers. This starter was fresh & bright - the tender fish, creamy avocado, and delicately crisp rice crackers had a really good texture combination. The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, shaved pecorino, buttered panko, & cured egg yolk. This was one of the best Caesar salads we have had in Denver - the shaved pecorino generously coated each leaf of the crisp lettuce. The Braised Short Rib was made with mascarpone polenta, roasted mushrooms, hazelnut, & orange mustarda. The short rib was so tender it fell apart under our forks. It had a robust flavor of succulent beef and combined with the mascarpone polenta, it made for decadent bites. The Diver Scallops were made with butternut squash, parsnip, roasted apple, & cider gastrique."

They use a lot of vegetables and herbs, with a few protein- and grain-based ingredients. There are some bold flavors and creative combinations. It's not exactly a vegetarian or vegan menu, but it almost could be. The menu changes occasionally, so it may have a different feel in a few months. The space is rustic. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Small issue: the zucchini carpaccio had lots of parmesan on it, and it was on a small plate. It was impossible to eat without getting parmesan everywhere. It would be better to serve the zucchini on a larger plate."

We found this bistro and wine bar with a decent menu that has flatbread and burgers, though they are a little pricey I think it's apropos for the downtown area. The service was fine but a little short. It was still happy hour but they didn't offer us happy hour, though they did to the next table. We were too tired to argue. Ordered some spicy burger with cream cheese and it was amazing. Really hit the spot. Their cocktails are tasty. The cherry drink that came in a tall glass was too easy to drink at $15 each. The dining room is intimate, with nooks and crannies for small parties. I asked the server if the garlic fries come out crispy. He said they did but I asked for him to request a new dish. They were bad. They should have never left the kitchen. The pic included has the fresh fries that were perfect. Good spot for a decent meal in downtown. Just don't expect much."

I hadn't heard much about this spot, but if the Yelp reviews can tell you anything, it's that it is worth 5 WHOLE stars - and who am I to argue with my fellow Yelpers??First, their cocktails are TOP TIER. I tried a couple: Yuzu Enjoy Myself with Japanese whisky, yuzu puree and egg white and the Blood Orange Crush with mezcal, fireberry tea, spiced blood orange - inventive and all DELICIOUS. Second, the food! Their menu is simple - some great, fresh seafood, steak, pasta. There was not one bite I did not enjoy:Tallow Candle Bread Service - a candle made out of rendered beef fat and seasoned with herbs and fleur de sel is brought to the table with fantastic, housemade bread. This is a zero waste product and everything is edible except for the flame! Delicious and unique. Wagyu Steak Carpaccio - this is some of the best carpaccio I've had in town. Chili crunch, pine nuts, harrisa aioli, thai basil, ramp kimchi, picled ramps, olive oil - it may SOUND like there's too many things on top of the shaved wagyu, but trust me IT WORKS.12oz Wagyu Flatiron - cooked perfectly medium rare served with potato mille fuielle, charred onions, kombu-beef jus, chanterelles and spinach. Don't sleep on those sides, they were also just as good as that steak.I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant- not to mention the service was just incredible. Everyone was approachable and knowledgeable and so warm and inviting. I am DREAMING of a brunch here one day - I think they had it at one point, but don't anymore. Alisa J. "Loved the food! Started with the steak tartare and burrata toast. Both were great. I felt that the steak tartare beef didn't look as appetizing for some reason. The burrata toast had a great balance of flavors. For our mains we had the duck and ny strip. The duck was cooked well but not perfect. It's such a difficult protein and I'm convinced I will only find a handful of restaurants that can pull it off perfectly. The plate was gorgeous and I loved the balance of flavors especially with the berries. The bread pudding was a bit doughy. The steak and potato was masterfully cooked. The plate looked not as pretty but the food was delicious. The desserts were all great as well. The s'mores brownie plating was appetizing and the dish as a whole was not too sweet and yummy. The banana tiramisu didn't have much tiramisu flavor. The crumb on the side was my favorite and the caramel sauce. The tiramisu was a good tiramisu but I felt that it was too creamy and didn't have all the layers that a tiramisu has. All the drinks were good. I loved the apple cider martini. I loved the warm apple and cinnamon flavors in martini form. The strawberry gin drink with pepper and egg white was good not mind blowing. The whiskey drink with the toasted marshmallow was delicious. Especially the graham cracker rim gave the drink a nice and buttery flavor. The espresso martini was good also not mind blowing. The service was really good and everyone was friendly. Also loved the trendy decor. Highly recommend!"

AMAZING NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT!We spent a night in Denver before our morning flight back home, and we're glad we finished our recent Colorado trip on a high note!We arrived at around 5:30pm, and the place was quite packed already - no surprise as it was New Year's Eve! Glad we made a reservation, and we were seated right away.Service was amazing! Our server was very attentive, friendly, and considerate. We were going to order some appetizers first as we needed more time to decide on main courses. He politely asked us to place food order all at once since the kitchen was busier than usual due to holiday season. We appreciated his full transparency, and his tone and the way he handled the situation was perfect - he took good care of their kitchen crew without offending the customers!Their cocktail was probably the best I've had during the whole trip. I had the "Birdwatcher" (bourbon based), a refreshing cocktail that's well balanced between citrusy and bitterness.I'll highlight a few dishes we had from that night:- Persimmon Carpaccio + Truffle: this is an item from the "kitchen fun" section of their menu, and honestly we didn't even know what to expect. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! Persimmon's sweetness and truffle's earthiness complimented each other nicely, and the nuts on top added more texture to it!- Beet & Chicory Salad: just imagine having a bite mixed with sweetness from beets, citrusy from grapefruit, richness from goat ricotta cheese, and chewiness from pistachio. This is so satisfying! - Truffled Mushroom Tagliatelle: what a great change from the lighter carpaccio / salad dishes to a "full-body" pasta dish. Without surprise, the truffle butter further enhanced the nutty and earthy flavor of the porcini mushroom, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Point Easy, and will definitely visit again when we're in the area next time!"

Until recently, they weren't open for lunch however something magical happened this Spring and BAM! They are now open for delicious business starting at 11:30am. This officially makes them the best lunch spot in town. :DWhy?Well... because it's the exact same menu, staff, vibe and service as dinner! Everything stays 5 STAR+. In fact, it just gives you the opportunity to try something off the menu that maybe feels more lunchtime than dinner. As stated in previous reviews, I've eaten here a handful of times. Yet, I've never had anything from the handheld / sandwich section of the menu. It was a new day today, though! That's right. The garlic chive sausage, padron Chili's, leeks, Dijon-paprika brodo was a perfect harmony of smell and unforgettable surprise for my palette. The broth. Above average in taste. Served with fresh baked bread. Once you dip that bread you're hooked. I swear I almost didn't go beyond the appetizer. I just wanted more of that mussels. When the waiter came to clear the plate for my next dish I had to restrain myself from stopping him.The shaved Bartlett Pears came next. My aversion to sweet entree, salad or anything else that's not desert was totally squashed here. The Marcona Almond vinaigrette, black mission figs, Brie crema , red wine-cacao gastrique all worked in perfect harmony to produce an end result that was perfectly in sync. I chose the Hanger Steak for my entree since a couple of nights ago I had an amazing fish dinner. I'm mostly a meat eater. I know my meat. I am in awe of this entree. Super tender to start with. Perfectly cooked as requested medium. Pink and so enticing. The streak sat on top of sweet potato raclette aligot, sautéed kale, Moroccan roasted carrots, red wine-sage jus. Amen! (P.S Aligot is made from mashed potatoes blended with butter, cream, crushed garlic, and melted cheese.)I had their old fashion to keep me a bit distracted and I went home enchanted. And that creme brûlée....This is an off the beaten path location that is perfect for a date night with a special someone. There's a large patio here with picnic tables and some fire pits, but there are also hanging heaters which did keep the patio pretty warm, even without being enclosed. The picnic bench almost felt like it was heated, but it was just the hanging heaters.I wasn't a fan of the sour they had on tap, so I opted to try their seltzers. First I had the lemon hibiscus fuzz and later the watermelon yuzu mojito. They were both decent, though not amazing. I am honestly not a massive fan of hard seltzers, but I did like them better than the sour (and I don't like regular beer). The staff were very friendly though and let me try a few sips of drinks before ordering.Eventually our group moved to one of the firepits once some people left and it was nice and cozy. They actually had a bunch of camping chairs (vs adirondack chairs) which I kind of preferred, even though they're flimsier, because 1. they have cupholders and 2. you can fit more of the camping chairs vs. adirondack chairs and you can sit a lot closer to the fire.Definitely a cute spot and I was able to park on the street directly in front of the brewery which made my life easy as well."

The vibe walking in is a classic piano with a distinct voice singing, "Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time." To check in, you walk through their beautiful patio before entering the immaculate interior. You'll see the kitchen to your right. It's neat to see the chefs at work. They are laser focused, meticulously crafting dishes to send out. You'll be greeted by a host who graciously checks your coat and guides you to your table. Before departing, they will ask for your preference of water: sparkling or still. At this point, you've already began to chime and internally rock with, "don't stop me now don't stop me, 'cause I'm having a good time, having a good time" in pure anticipation of the tasting experience! The Seasonal Tasting Menu00 Amazake: "a shooting star, leaping through the sky" - This was a cup of pure delight, slightly sweet, mildly earthy and nutty! The ingredients listed were charleston gold rice and jimmy nardelo pepper. 01 Zensai: "like a tiger defying the laws of gravity"- Everything about this course was defying... between the oyster, panna cotta and macaron. Now, two out of three of these items are typically sweet treats. Not here. These were savory and rich, just melted in your mouth bites. 02 Fermentation: "I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva"- There's alot going on here! You'll get rev'd up by their highlighting of five different fermentation styles: grain, tartare, sunomono, kimchi and umeboshi! My "Mister Fahrenheit" was the grain which was sourdough piada. I was "travelling at the speed of light" to grab another bite!03 Scallop: "I wanna make a supersonic man out of you"- Now, this scallop was plucked out of the sea then zapped less than 24 hours later to our table. If anything is supersonic, it's this scallop. It was fresh, silky and STANDOUT. 04 Dumpling: "I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball"- Okay, you are midway through the meal. And YES! You are having a good time! This course just takes you to a ball, though. The dumplings come out in a bowl, then the waiter dresses them with a magical broth. It's what you wish your grandma knew how to make on a cold day. It's comforting and like a warm hug. Mhmm!05 Wagyu: "If you wanna have a good time. Just give me a call"- We all know... this is the guy you wanna call when you are trying to take the party to another level. This wagyu was seared and rested to utter perfection. It was juicy, savory and you are sad when you get to the last note. 06 Intermezzo: (Don't stop me now)- There's a moment when you think, "Ah man, this is it." Only to find out... it's not! It's just a delicious light palate cleanser for you to move and groovy into dessert. 07 Mille Feuille & Birthday Cake: "I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars on a collision course, I am a satellite I'm out of control"- We got an extra bite because it was my birthday! The collision of two desserts was out of control with flavor. Subtly sweet, sweetly superb!08 Mignardise Sheep Version: "Woah. Let loose, honey, all right."- The last bite is choose your own adventure: sheep or wolf. Wolf has caffeine, while sheep has no caffeine. Although you are not ready for the night to end and you definitely cannot fit another bite in your body, you will and it is worth it. As the lyrics go, just "let loose" and "honey" it is "all right."At the end, you will... "feel alive and the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah" You are 100% "floating around in ecstasy" and singing... "Ah, da, da, ah, ah, ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh!"And think... That was a meal fit for a QUEEN and a GOOD TIME!"

Danielle H. "Came here on a Friday night. Look for The Slate, as a tad hard to find but no reservation needed. This spot is located inside The Slate, by Hilton. Seems like a nice calm hotel. It used to be a school and a lot of the integrity/architecture remains intact. I love that is themed. Very neat spot. It is a quiet restaurant, great for a business dinner or date night. The do have valet in the front. The menu is fairly limited, and the drinks are premade however the presentation and taste were on point. Our server was great, she was attentive and personable. Food and drinks came out in a few short minutes. We only had a couple items, but we tried enough to want to come back. The only downside was that the public restrooms were far down a flight of stairs. I'm sure they have elevators but I didn't see them. Overall strong 4/5 stars!"

Stefanie C. "My partner and I came here for dinner the night before Valentine's Day. Perfect because it was totally empty. Calm before the storm. Service was fantastic. It's clearly intended to be an upscale, romantic experience. We were seated immediately, and my only qualm is the cold draft that's let into the restaurant every time the main door is opened. The food was delicious! We started with Pan Seared Scallops with lobster cream and caviar, which are making my mouth water as I write this. I love how many pescatarian-friendly options there are. We shared the Potato Crusted Icelandic Cod with baby manila clam chowder, as well as the Sautéed Barramundi with buttered spinach and smoked trout roe emulsion. Both were quite tasty. I would order them again. As far as fancy restaurants in Denver go, this wasn't my all-time favorite but definitely enjoyable and worth giving a shot. There tends to be a decent amount of reservation availability, so make sure to do that in advance. You might have to walk a bit after parking in this neighborhood depending on the evening. Would love to come back someday though."

Alisha Alexandra H. "Looking for a romantic date or double date night spot? American Elm's patio offers private, heated greenhouses that will have you enjoying a beautiful winter night, all the while cozy warm inside, sipping on fab cocktails & eating great food. We arrived at American Elm and were seated in our cutie lil' greenhouse. Each greenhouse had their own space heater & speaker. Our server Drew was lovely - she was attentive and had great recommendations on the menu. My favorite cocktail at American Elm continues to be The Pandan Chi Chi (a must order). The Pandan Chi Chi is made with Community Spirit Co. vodka, pandan, coconut, pineapple, & lime. This cocktail was visually stunning and tasted like a vanilla creamsicle with notes of pineapple & coconut.Tanya got the Metal Heard made with Uruapan Charanda & Rum Fire Jamaican rums, Clément Mahina coconut, pineapple, lime, bubbles. Smoky and Sweet - served on crushed ice in a Collins glass. The Portobello Wraps were made with bulgogi marinade, grilled portobello, bibb lettuce, carrot, sprouts, radish, cilantro, & toasted garlic chili oil. These veggie packed wraps were fresh, bright, & filled with savory portobellos. The Crispy Pork Belly was made with jalapeno creme, grilled seasonal fruit, pickled fresno chile, mustard seed, & cilantro. The pork belly was tender with a crispy outside layer. The smokiness of the pork was brightened by the seasonal fruit. The Artichoke Dip was made with three cheese blend, charred pepper, crostini, & crudites. This dip was solid - warm and cheesy with a delicate artichoke zing. The Deviled Eggs were made with smoked yolk, mustard seed, & house pork belly. The creamy, rich yolk filling was velvety texture and went well against the crunch of the pork - a mouthful of flavor. The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, roasted garlic croutons, cherry tomatoes, & parmesan crisp.American Elm makes all of their pasta in house, and you bet we were getting after it. The Duck Ragu Pappardelle was made with confit duck leg, burrata, pecorino, & basil. This was my favorite pasta of the night - the pappardelle was beautiful & generously coated in hearty rich sauce & smooth burrata. The Steak Frites were made with ribeye cap, bone marrow butter, arugula salad, & fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the bone marrow butter added a mouthwatering sweet, nutty flavor to the meat. The Creamy Casarecce was made with River Bear bacon, spring peas, local mushrooms, roasted garlic, & parmesan cream sauce. This savory pasta dish combined thick pasta, bacon pieces, & locally grown mushrooms which made for creamy and satisfying bites. The Lemon Maiale Rigatoni was made with sausage, spinach, heirloom tomatoes, confit garlic cloves, & parmesan. This pasta dish was characterized by creamy lemon butter sauce and a flavorful combo of Italian sausage and tender rigatoni. For dessert we had the Buttermilk Pie made with brown butter whip, nilla wafers, & strawberry gastrique and the Creme Brulee. A sweet ending to a fantastic meal!"

Alisha Alexandra H. "This is Denver's newest Italian restaurant...Saverina has opened its doors and is bringing the spirit of Italian cooking through local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. We arrived at Saverina and were seated in the main dining room. The ambiance was light & airy with modern touches throughout. The staff of Saverina was fantastic - they were welcoming, attentive, & seamlessly ran dinner service. General Manager, Crystal was active on the floor our entire meal, assisting her staff & engaging with customers (she had fabulous recommendations) Our server, Kevin was our 'luxury tour guide of food' for the evening and he ensured we tried the highlights Saverina had to offer. The Blueberry Limoncello Spritz was made with limoncello siciliano, blueberry syrup, Aperol, & prosecco. This was a perfect summer cocktail - bubbly and refreshing with the blueberry adding a touch of sweetness. The Negroni Bianco di Roma was made with strawberry gin, basil lillet, & suze. The strawberry gin added a subtle fruit flavor that was balanced out by the distinctive bitter & herbaceous suze. The Montebello Marg was made with ghost reposado, salerno, lime juice, & honey syrup. I loved this margarita - it had a slow-building spicy kick that didn't overwhelm and was still refreshing. The Fresh Mozzarella + Chili Crunch was made with fried bread, charred scallion puree, bee pollen, purple basil, & villa manodori balsamic. The mozzarella was thick with a lovely chew. The taste profile of the cheese was kicked up a notch by the chili crisps and the acidity of the tomatoes. The Tuna Carpaccio + Semolina Fried Sweetbreads were served alongside fennel pollen aioli & crunchy capers. The tuna was diced into small, fresh cubes. The Funghi Sourdough Pizza was made with black trumpets, hen of the woods, & black truffle puree. The pizza crust was made in-house and generously topped with thick, milky, chewy cheese (that made for epic cheese pulls) & meaty mushrooms. This pizza was fabulous. The White Corn Ravioli + Heirloom Tomatoes was made with slow-roasted corn, white truffle, & brown butter. WOW. The ravioli was a first bite sensation that lasted to the final bite. The delicate pouches of sweet corn were complemented by the white truffle & brown butter. The Angel Hair Slippery Noodles were made with Dungeness crab, Meyer lemon, green onion, parmigiana reggiano, & uni butter. The crab and uni resonated well throughout the thin, bouncy pasta. The Baked Fresh Caught Halibut (flown in fresh daily) was served with heirloom tomatoes, thyme, & extra virgin olive oil. The Halibut had a classic Sardinian preparation - so buttery & flakey. The Halibut was paired with the Pieropan - Soave, Veneto white wine. The wine tasted of crisp peaches & honey which paired beautifully with the butter in the Halibut. The Roasted Baby Carrots were topped with mint & pistachio then served alongside lemon ricotta. The carrots were caramelized in the pizza oven which kept the integrity of the carrot intact while giving the exterior a nice crispness. For dessert, we had the Angelica Cake made with baked strawberries and vanilla whip. Unreal. The cake was dense & spongey, and the strawberries added brightness to each bite of the pillowy cake. The Meyer Lemon + Semolina Cake was made with limoncello gel, pistachio anglaise, & candied lemon."

Virginia C. "I thought the pre-set menu were to be meh on food and you are only there for the amazing Jazz but no ...I loved it and the pre-fix comes with this price and if you get the show tickets only, then there is al la carte. Weekends are more than Weekdays. I would recommend reservations but sometimes you can sneak in Most seats are good in the house but if you want the best views.. I think it's actually at the hightops. If you have a big group - they might split up your tables, so ask."
