"Checking the neighborhood and found a delicious lunch at Randi's! Staff were pleasant and efficient. The 8" lunches special is a great deal. I noticed the place is full of regular clients greeted by name. Restaurant is clean and comfy!"

"Sitting inside transforms you to somewhere else - it feels like you're no longer in Colorado! I loved the old school feel of the place. It's small and cozy, and although it was pretty busy, service was fast and the servers were easygoing and friendly. We tried the platter sampler which was a combination of fried veggies (zucchini, mushrooms and onion I think) and the satellite pizza minus the olives and pepperoni. Everything tasted great, though the appetizer portion size could have been a bit bigger and the pizza crust was a bit more hard and dry than I'd like."
"We had a lovely spontaneous late lunch/early dinner at Cucina Colore the other day. Hadn't been in several years. From the slightly upscale ambience of the physical surroundings, to the wonderful service of our waiters, it was a very special meal. Spouse loved the Italiano Sandwich. In fact he declared it almost as good as Parisi's Pizza Salad. After a discussion with the waiter, he recommended the Carciofi Salad, and then I added scallops. It was also terrific. Both of us left completely satisfied -- and didn't have to eat a single bite until the next day.So nice to be reminded about this gem of a restaurant, and look forward to our return trip whenever we have the chance!"
"The space is pretty big in the lower level of the restaurant. There were several tables with patrons. It was still early in the evening when we were seated quickly yet the pizza did take a while to arrive although it was really delicious. Too bad I didn't have enough time to revisit this establishment to try other items on the menu.Heads up they have a few service charges that are not usual in most restaurants."
"Gattara is a pretty space inside a boutique-looking hotel. The dining area is pretty spacious and they also have a wood fired pizza oven.I come here most for happy hour. There's is decent, with drink and food options. The HH food is extra small portions, so it's kinda "happy" hour but might be the actual price of a meatball from a whole meal, maybe, lol. There's a bartender there I really like but service overall has always been very good. This is another spot I learned about from a Yelp event. These events pay off with repeat business!! :)Fun fact, this was the last place I was out at in 2019 for brunch before the world shut down. I'll always remember that and being one of like only 2-3 other tables for like 3 hours, it was crazy!"
"Great dinner and service at Panzano on Wednesday night. I had a reservation for a large group, and the restaurant was great communicating with me as I ended up changing our quantity multiple times. We showed up a few minutes early for our 7:15 reservation, after I called a few hours earlier to bump it out from 6:15. Our waiter was great, and cocktails and appetizers (calamari and brussel sprouts) came out a short time later. They were both quite good.I went with the Pesce Fresco, especially after learning the white fish was halibut. It was wonderful...possibly the best piece of fish I've had since moving to Colorado. Asparagus was undercooked but wasn't horrible. Others in my group had the scallops, filet, and a few of the pasta dishes. All raved about their meals. Desserts were quite good as well. I had the chocolate mousse with almond bark concoction, while others had the tiramisu, sorbet, and a few other dishes. Everything was great."
"Chose this spot because it was recommended by a business associate. It's a nice place and undoubtedly Italian, in a smaller neighborhood but very cozy! Very friendly and conscientious staff. The owner even stopped over to check on us! The food was very good. Funny how Italian food is subject to family recipes and location etc. etc. Appetizers were very good and we basically licked the plates. My Veal Marsala was presented with an Eggplant Componata which was tasty yet the Marsala Sauce was thin and needed to be reduced more to get that nice sweet and thick Dee-lickable thing going on....Everyone ate and we had a couple drinks! The desserts were good but me being a Tiramisu SNOB! I was hopi g it would be better. The Lemon Cake most likely purchased frozen was eh...ok."
"Nice selection and variety on the menu. Staff is awesome, knowledgeable and helpful. Portions are huge!!!! Check out the option to order a serving meant for one or a family size portion! Nice crust on the pizza!"

Randi's pizza is delicious and a west Arvada staple. We love their cheese pizza with added jalapeños and their ravioli appetizer. If you dine in, on the weekends in the evening, this place is popping and expect a bit of a wait- well worth it though! Service is always great and friendly and the resturant is well-kept.

calamari was 17bucks and portion was marginalized. place reeks of failing business. don't use your credit card, because there is a surcharge of 3.75% to "keep food prices low", all in while the highway robbery is happening.chicken parm was 27 bucks which pasta noodles smelled like throw-up (no cap) The app and chicken parm come arrived in 5mins run time. last time i checked, good food takes time.verdict. u in the mood for italian? say hello to some goodies from grammys in wheat ridge...

We ordered the barrata after our waitress recommended it. We asked for the prosciutto on the side, as we had a vegetarian. When it was delivered I told the waiter we'd asked for the prosciutto on the side. "Did you tell your waitress that". Ah YES. That's why I'm telling you. He did not apologies or anything, just walked away. Not the best introduction. Our waitress was very good. Other staff were good too, just not the first guy. Given they tell you they're charging a 22% tip before you order, I'd expect it to be good. Food was good except the risotto. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto had little to no body and tasted like butter.

It was a family lunch with my adult daughter after she had just come back from an overseas vacation. She had lots of stories to tell me so to have a nice time with her, I wanted the place to be more than casual. Solid 4 star reviews of Gattara appeared promising when I looked it up on Yelp as the photos to show its ambience looked good. Maybe my anticipation was too high (I should have shown up without any??) but 4-star is simply an overstatement. It's like a rock band that everyone raves about but the fact is, it's so pretentious. Hence, my honest rating of this restaurant is 2.5 star (but I'm giving it 3 to be generous.)Service: it was a little after 11am. The restaurant had barely people in it but service was slow and barely basic. There was a single gentleman (appeared to be a hotel guest; this really is in Warwick Hotel) who appeared to have waited for a GOOD amount of time before he got his food. He even stood up to grab an attention of some worker to ask where his food was before he finally got his food. It didn't take too long to finish his food but once he was done with it, he asked for a check which he had to wait for. He actually had to leave the premises to go back to his car (for his meter??) so he could come back to his table to pay for his tab was the improvement I got. This slowness of service was (unfortunately) extended to me/us. After a female worker (she was the only person in the restaurant who was attentive and nice) filled our glasses with water while I was awaiting my daughter to arrive, she said, "Your server will be right with you." There was at least ten (plus) minutes before our waiter finally came to our table. As my daughter hadn't arrived yet at that point, I asked for a cup of some coffee product (he then told me the only thing the restaurant could make was Americano. Wait, this Italian restaurant can only serve Americano but they can't make cortado or cappuccino or latte??? Very strange..) I had no choice but to order Americano. Well, turns out, this Americano exceeded my expectations. This was the only thing though that was more than decent. Our waiter only came to us to take our orders. He didn't come to ask us how everything tasted or if we wanted a dessert after our meal, you know, those basic things a typical waitestaff asks. He absolutely had no smile on his face; he was just doing absolutely minimal/minimum to get by.)Food: I've already mentioned about Americano that was more than decent. Two plates we ordered (once my daughter arrived) were Dilicata Salad with salmon add-on ($27) and Meatballs ($13). The arugula in the center had more than necessary amount of salt in it. The restaurant should go a bit easier on the salt. Overall though, this dish doesn't simply live up to what's described on the menu. Again, this is a pretentious rock band that is simply overrated for the kind of price for lunch. The meatballs, however, were decent. Although one thing about them was the fact that it may have sat at the kitchen counter for at least 5 to 10 minutes before it reached our table as the meatballs were barely warm. My daughter's mocktail was nothing but sour; its appearance disguised as a quality concoction. I wasn't impressed...Ambience: Despite what I had to say above, I'm happy to say that this place gets a decent score in this category. Spacious and clean is what many will notice. Cat-themed artworks and decors are seen throughout; I find this cute. They also have a spacious patio space. The bar area also appeared nice. Definitely a good place to sit and grab a drink solo or with someone. I wouldn't bother coming back to Gattara driving from my DTC neighborhood just to dine for a simple lunch or dinner. I can simply find something equivalent or even better in my direct neighborhood saving time and gas.
Visit Restaurant Page"An Italian friend from back East has been raving about Vinny and Marie's for months. He said nothing in Denver reminds him of home and family recipes more and that Jimmy is one of the coolest folks he's run into in CO. This truck posts up regularly, but nowhere near my side of town. It's been like the Holy Grail for me since last Fall.Last Sunday, my quest came to a delicious end at Novel Strand Brewing, not too far. Indiana Jones had to work a lot harder for the Grail, but couldn't have been more stoked than I was. People rave about the Mosco. I've joined them. Homemade Italian sausage melts in your mouth. Pueblo Chiles and provolone create a heavenly mouthfeel. Have you ever made involuntary moans of pleasure while eating? I have now. Audio from my meal could find use in the adult film industry. This sandwich has the power to change lives. It opened my mind and palate to both Italian sausage (been on the fence overall) and Pueblo Chiles (former New Mexican here). Thanks, Jimmy. We got a chicken parm sandwich, too. Fresh and delicious, the sauce, cutlet, and bread were on point. This is authentic food, not just authentic Italian food. There was nothing bland and corporate about it. Fries come with sandwiches. They do the trick and held up well overnight in the fridge.Carrot cake came last. It's not usually my jam, but since he was already out of Sunday pasta, Jimmy threw this in. While the Mosco stole the show, this cake also made me a believer. Delectable texture meets delicious icing. Win. Just like the song says, "Everything's right." My friend was, too. Vinny and Marie's offers superlative Italian grub, both traditional and innovative. The owner's quality shines through in the cooking and his friendly, warm, enthusiastic personality. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. I'll be doing it again very soon. Thanks, Jimmy.Five stars."
"Great place for italian food! Firenze a tavola is located downstairs. We ordered so much food (as you can tell not everything we ordered is pictured) but everything we had tasted great! LOVED the antipasto! Great for sharing :)"
"When I think of a neighborhood Italian restaurant, this is it. My new favorite Italian restaurant in the Denver metro area!Loved everything about my dining experience here! From the moment I walked in! Our server Paul was obviously a professional waiter. (I love great service!) I ordered the penne Rustica. Full of flavor with Chicken, sausage, peppers, and onions. So delicious! My meal came with what I can described as very fresh baked garlic knots! Finish my meal with one of my favorites, cannoli! So good! So fresh! As I was finishing my meal, the owner Ignacio came by to check on me and introduce himself.he's the real deal! From Sicily! What a lovely man.! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.!"
"This is my 2nd time eating here and they never and I mean never disappoint. The pizza is always so freaking delicious and the staff is always so friendly. I got two pizzas and a drink for under 15 bucks o believe. The pizzas I got was an everything pizza and the other one I honestly can't remember it has white sauce with chicken and I think bacon and that by far was my favorite. Next time I will get two slices."
"I visited Lo Stella with a friend on a Tuesday evening. Which to our delight, it turns out they have happy hour from 4-6pm and offer half priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays! The manager, Luca, was our server. He was great! He was very knowledgeable and patient as I grilled him on the menu and he also helped us narrow our selection to 3 pastas and dessert! He even asked the kitchen to make us the gnocchi special when it wasn't on the menu that evening! We enjoyed the pesto pasta, the Cacio Pepe, and the gnocchi for our entrees, everything was delightful!! I can't wait to come back again and try more off of their menu!"
"Loved it!!!! It's quaint, not too big, reservations are recommended and the food was amazing! The wait staff was so nice and friendly! We will go back soon!!!"
"// SummaryDecent Italian food with awesome service with people who seem to genuinely care about your dining experience.// ExperienceOrdered a calimari and carbonara. Those were pretty good, not exactly a "so good it'll make you cry" quality - but it definitely scratches the itch that you might have for some decent pasta. They had a key lime pie available for dessert. May not have been the best key lime pie, but keep on reading!// ServiceThe waitstaff were simply the best. They were nice and friendly, and also hilarious. I had a great time chatting at the bar with some of them. They even asked me what I thought about the key lime pie, and while they noticed that I was reserved in my answer, they asked, "Well, what could we have done to make it better?" I replied that I often like to have the crust of my key lime pies a bit crispier, and they suggested that I tell them next time so that they can accommodate for me. You really got to love a place that engages you like that.// AmbianceIt's not a particularly large restaurant, but they got indoor and a "covered and enclosed" part of the shop too. It feels like a nice family restaurant, and you'll feel right at home.// ConvenienceThey have a small bar where you might be able to walk in, but it's probably best to try to reserve, as the place can get packed. They have a parking lot in the strip, but it actually might be easier to find street parking around the area."
"So this place was so good at the Yelp event that I had to come back again! My daughter and I came after we spent the day at Elitchs and had a light dinner here. We sat on the meatball side. I just love that side cause it's like a calmer vibe which is my vibe. The other side just is to much cause of course it's brighter and more seating. Both are great though! This is just a me preference and plus I love love the decor on the meatball side. We were immediately sat and we sat at a booth close to the bar. I of course ordered me a tequila me smalls and it was delicious just for some reason didn't tasty 100% the same as when I went for the event which is fine it's still good it just was less sweet and more on the tangy side. To eat I ordered the shishito peppers and the lime shrimp all off the appetizer menu. My absolute favorite is the shisito peppers that they pair perfectly with the marmalade sauce it comes with. The peppers are always cooked and seasoning so perfectly and the perfect amount of spicyness as well. I could eat this all day everyday! The shrimp were of course delish but hands down I really only came for the shisito peppers lol. Our server I don't remember his name except he's from Chicago, he was absolutely an amazing server and was on it with the service and keeping our drinks and needs met! Thank you again for amazing food, scenery and service!"
"2 years later, it's time for an updated review! My friend and I walked to Lou's from our dance studio for lunch, and it's still one of the best sandwich shops in town. There are so many options, including groceries in their refrigerated sections. I ended up ordering a Muffeletta because I looove olives and it was recommended by one of the staff members there. The half portion was perfect. Apparently they do quarter portions as well. Definitely want to try some of their plates in the future. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can pair your sandwich with one of the beverages in their labeled fridges. Plenty of street parking in the area. Excited to come back and support Lou's again!"
"First visit today and it will be the first of many. The service was excellent, the place was clean and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed the chicken piccata, calamari, fettuccini bolognese, Brussel sprouts and the sausage and peppers."
"Dined with some friends who had been before. Service was a bit slow, food was okay, not a lot of flavor, restaurant was Cold (temperature) so needless to say it wasn't inviting overall ambiance was flat."
"Viale's is your neighborhood (South Colo. Blvd) pizza/pasta shop that's got a bit more style and a bit more class than your average Italian restaurant. Good prices and above-average meal quality mark it as a go-to regular stopover when you're craving some semolina this-and-that. Very good pizza (ask for the crust to be "crispy") and large servings (check out the size of the tiramisou!) tell you that you're not going away hungry. (I also really like their newest host-person...so kind and helpful).Ciao bella,David(e) M"
"Loved this old establishment. We had the mushroom appetizer, family Cesar salad and family spaghetti and meatballs. Could have fed 6 people we were only 3 of us. Great waiter everything was clean except one fly flew around us for an hour. Great experience in town for a convention. Hotel manager recommended place. Excellent choice!!! The house cab was very good and a big portion. Special thanks Taylor Hernandez hand model in pictures."
"Thought this was a really good pizza place. Called ahead for takeout and the pizza was ready when promised. The Orazia was delicious - chewy, crunchy crust with prosciutto, dates and argula. Another time for deliver, the Combinata had it all, sausage, peperoni, peppers, onions, olives -- it arrived ahead of schedule-- very nice. A fresh salad with pear, walnuts and arugula was also exceptional. The people inside the place know what they are doing. This place serves quality pizzas at reasonable prices. Its worth a try. Owned by the same people who run Teller's across the street."
"Via Toscana is a busy restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere, offering classic Tuscan cuisine and an impressive wine list. The location in a strip mall is unexpected, but that means easy parking.Service is attentive and when I've visited Via Toscana a few times with groups, they always try to accommodate us, finding a quieter area in the restaurant for book club as an example (they take reservations).Last time, I started with the Lemon Drop, a very refreshing cocktail, and it's always nice to munch on their bread dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar that they bring as soon as you start looking at the menu. The food is also yummy, you can pick anything from pasta to pizza, including vegetarian options. Not much changes at Via Toscana over the years, and that's a good thing!"
"Zane's, it's so nice to have you in my neighborhood of Hampden South. You are walking distance from my house. Upon having a strong craving for some decent Italian food, I can always come to you to pick up a few items.Service is consistently good. Prices are reasonable. You simply never disappoint.I feel though that it's time that you guys modified the entire menu. Change's should be embraced from time to time.Again, I'm thankful for having you in my vicinity."
"Got to love a place that has a small town charm outside the big city. Pizza is fresh and delicious. Beer tastes awesome when it comes in a schooner. Classic establishment!"
