"I love subs. Specifically, I love Italian subs.On my trip to Denver, we decided that subs were the takeout option for lunch.I of course, opted for an Italian and it was so good. The bread has the perfect mix of a bit of flakiness but soft as well. The sub was STACKED with meat and all the toppings. I specifically loved the hot pepper mix I added to my sub.My friend's sandwich looked amazing also. If you're in the area and looking for a sub, I would try out Stack's. They've been voted best sandwich in Denver for 6 years in a row, so if that isn't reason enough to check them out, I'm not sure what is!"
"We heard about The Local Butcher this summer and can't say enough good things about them. From the steaks to their brats are fire."
Smoked turkey, tender belly bacon, avocado, red onion, vine ripe tomato, horseradish aioli.

Visit Restaurant Page"It was so good to visit an old-fashioned deli, and I questioned why I did not know about this place earlier...Great service, a kind greeter up front, and a lotta parking made the initial stage of the visit work well. It just got better and better.Mid-afternoon stops, so I was thinking of lunch! I ordered their famous matzo ball soup, which was delicious and met my expectations. I enjoyed the gluten-free BTLA, a superb sandwich on toasted wheat bread that included bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo. Enjoyed the diagonal cut like an NYC deli! A heaping order of fries was so yummy also.Afterward, I noticed that they had pastries and items to go in a cooler, which capped the visit off on a high note. I'll be back!"
"New Saigon Bakery & Deli specializes in bahn mi, which is a Vietnamese sandwich on a baguette. They also have drinks and prepared foods. This is a take-out only. No dine-in.I got the #1 Combination bahn mi, which is their cold cut sandwich filled with pate, ham, pork belly, and steamed pork, and topped with cilantro and pickled veggies. It was huge! The sandwich was so delicious and tasty. It's probably the best bahn mi I've had. I also got a pork chaud. It is a flaky pastry with pork inside. I thought this was okay. Everything else they had on display looked really tasty. I hope to return to try it all. This is a take-out only. No dine-in. It seems like a pretty popular place. There was a long line when I showed up, but the line went by fast."
"This popular local Bagel Extravaganza delivers the layers of flavor and deliciousness! My son took me to this Bagel Bistro that makes Epic mouth watering sandwiches that will put your taste buds into the stratosphere of deliciousness!"
"While waiting for an event (that I was early for), I stumbled upon the grand opening in the Five Points area of Denver. What a great idea...lil local Bodega with sandwich's and light drinks. Prices were reasonable with a good selection of home essentials, unique bites and some great looking bespoke ice creams. Cute store front, with a small area for tables. If I lived in Denver, this would be a go to, for sure."
"The kale salad was the bomb!!!! Please get it!!!Very filling and especially if you are planning on eating rich dinner!!!!"
"2 years later, it's time for an updated review! My friend and I walked to Lou's from our dance studio for lunch, and it's still one of the best sandwich shops in town. There are so many options, including groceries in their refrigerated sections. I ended up ordering a Muffeletta because I looove olives and it was recommended by one of the staff members there. The half portion was perfect. Apparently they do quarter portions as well. Definitely want to try some of their plates in the future. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can pair your sandwich with one of the beverages in their labeled fridges. Plenty of street parking in the area. Excited to come back and support Lou's again!"
"We got into town late and didn't know what to eat. The guys at the local dispensary directed me here when I said I wanted salad. I was a little skeptical but the salad with rotisserie chicken was really good, and the girls working were super sweet and friendly."
"I come here often since I work close. The service is always friendly, the coffee is always good, and I like the huge variety of coffee/tea/espresso drink options! The americano always hits the spot, but today I tried the blackberry sage black tea latte with almond milk - so delicious! Great with an extra tea bag too as it amps up the flavor. Sometimes it can be a little slow, but I like that it's a unique spot and serves food (though I have yet to try it - they have a lot of vegetarian options!)."
"For being a local store it gets good ratings because it's convenient. It doesn't have the best prices. Max Market is okay if you prefer local over big chain stores. Limited selection but still decent. The service is just okay. Anything local is usually better than a corporate chain. It mostly is the case here. The prices really aren't worse than many other stores. It's typical of a convenient store to take advantage of customers in a hurry. They sure do that here, but it's not all bad though. Some things have decent prices. The made to order items are the best values. Grocery items are pricier. This is good if you have some time. It has a pretty good menu of sandwiches and things from the deli. Prices are better for the made to order items. This is a better place if you have time for waiting."

We were down in the area picking up cases for work and ravenous for something quick and easy before we headed on the long road north. I've sampled some of their subs at a Yelp event years ago, and always wanted to make it back. We walked in and were greeted immediately, perused the menu and opted for the special of the week - the Turkey Bacon with a spicy cream cheese. We sat at one of the slightly dirty table (they were all a little crumb-y) with a view out the front windows and dusted it off before we dug in.The bread was wonderfully soft, there was a generous amount of meat and other fresh fillings, and the cream cheese was SPICY! We sniffled through the entire meal and demolished our subs, debated ordering another one to go for dinner to try something else, then headed out for the long drive home. Quick, easy, relatively cheap for the amount you get, and delicious!

Brand new meat market in neighborhood. (This is the old Allegra location and you would never know as the space is large.) Great selection and they have cheese and sauces, as well. Stop in to grab something for grill. I picked up two pork medallions wrapped in bacon and speared with fresh Rosemary. I was given perfect instructions for cooking and last night we had something a little special for dinner. The meat was tender and flavorful with a hint of the rosemary. Our two medallions were $4.98 total and were perfect for the two of us, I know The Local Butcher is going to succeed in our neighborhood, I already see a long line for holidays.

Exactly what you'd expect from a classic, non-kosher Jewish deli. There's pastrami and knishes, challah and blintzes, bottomless cups of coffee, and great pickles. I had the pastrami on rye and was happy with it. Service was good and attentive.

Not to be confused with neighboring New Saigon restaurant, this bakery and deli is about as good as it gets in Denver metro area for banh mi. We been to just about every banh mi shop in Denver, so save yourself the sometimes disappointing journey and just come here. They don't skimp on the filling, which is always fresh and high quality here, and the bread is quite good.Area is kind of run down, and parking lot is kind of jacked up, but it is what it is. Inside is nice, organized, and clean. Ordering and pickup was a breeze, and service was relatively quick. They do have other stuff that's not banh mi, but I only get banh mi from here. So I can't comment on their other stuff, but I cannot stop eating the banh mi here.

How can you NOT swoon over the attractive branding and high quality cuisine that CYM offers? After visiting the Pearl Street location, I was excited to see one on Tennyson that's near many errands I often run. While doing said errands, I ordered a Pastrami Sandwich on Challah, as well as a Honey Lavender Latte, for pickup on my phone. Nifty!Took awhile but always worth the wait. So delicious. Service is good. They seriously hustle here. I can't imagine dealing with the craziness for so many hours straight. Love the selection of both food and beverages. Parking can be hit or miss on Tennyson per usual, but I know I'll be coming back to support all these local eateries again and again in the future.

Little Bodega is an unassuming delight that has great sandwiches and tons of local snacks to make for a quick and tasty lunchtime experience! The storefront does not look like much, though this should not dissuade you from walking through that front door! The sandwiches and selection of tasty treats inside definitely makes up for whatever the store lacks in curbside appeal. The service was quick and friendly - the owner answered all my questions about the local snacks sold at Little Bodega. The sandwiches seem expensive to me BUT the prices do seem on par with other prices in Denver. I am just spoiled by low(er) cost of living in Texas!I ordered the Pigs in a Sauna sandwich, and it was DELICIOUS! This warm sandwich served on a potato bun was satiating and very tasty. Served with a pickle on the side.I look forward to returning here for another lunch the next time I am in Denver!Note: Little Bodega does have a few small, cute iron tables situated outside if you want to eat on site; otherwise, walk a few blocks to a nice park nearby and have a picnic!

One of the saddest bagel sandwiches I have ever had. Tiny slice of mediocre pastrami ( you guys should go to Katzs deli to see what real pastrami is like). Minuscule egg and cheese as well.$14 bucks? I dont know whether to feel insulted or sorry.Listen I get the obscene money printing our federal government has done and the inflation it has caused but this sandwich was just plain sad.Pass
Visit Restaurant Page"This place is legit. I've lived in Colorado for 10 years - moved from NJ. This is by far the best Italian sandwich I've had here. The pasta salad is exactly what you want as a side. Will 100% be back. Love it."
"Fast casuals like this I'm totally on board. Everything that we tried here is delicious! We started with their delicious Arugula Caesar with this incredible housemade dressing and croutons. I could eat a big bowl by myself! They're not kidding with their fettuccine Alfredo. Pasta is made in-house. Suppose you order the adorable and delicious pizza log. Think of them as really fancy mozzarella sticks only to be wrapped with an egg roll wrapper and stuffed with mozzarella and pepperoni, and served with a side of warm red sauce. A staff favorite :) 4 pieces to an order. The addicting Garlic Broccoli ( I swear!) is soo good! Their chicken Parm with eggplant is so yummy! You have to order the sizeable house-made meatball. Finger licking good! They carry their own house white and red wines. And some local beers. Now for dessert, they have this house-made Ricotta cookie to die for! For 11 years Ryan the owner has been running this lovely little Italian heaven.Highlights:Arugula Caesar with an incredible house made dressing Pizza Log-housemadeMeatball-housemadeGarlic BroccoliSpaghetti Eggplant ParmItalian Sausage Ricotta CookieAll the photos on the walls are actually the owner's Ryan DiFranco's family! Solid legacy here. Good food, good HH and great staff. THANK YOU Patricia for your awesome recs."
"Hello, dangerous. Do you think if I beg hard enough, the Valente family will adopt me? I'm considering quitting my day job to live here instead!Jokes aside, I've had Valentes buried in my bookmarks since I moved to Denver. And to be honest, I forgot about it until it somehow worked its way into a recent conversation. I immediately made a game plan to visit ASAP.First impressions. This is the most comprehensive Italian market I've been to in a long time. In terms of sauces, pastas, olive oils, you name it, they have it. My favorite brands like De Cecco, Sclafani and Cento line the shelves like a library. It's a sight to behold. I could almost cry.The party doesn't stop there. Even though it very well could. The selection of insane. But then, not to be outdone, the Valente family has its own deli and bakery on site. They make incredible Italian sausage (just made meatballs out of them!), frozen pastas and baked goods. The white chocolate macadamia cookies are the best of its kind. You think I'm being facetious. Trust me, I'm not.Oh, and one epic Italian sandwich to boot. Soft bread, beautifully cut Italian meats stacked perfectly. Awe man, I wish I could eat these every day but my heart says otherwise. The family owned market has been in business for over 70 years. It's in its third generation now. These are the types of places everybody loves supporting. I plan to come here for all my Italian products from here on out. No need to buy them from a big box store when a family owned spot has competitive prices and an even larger variety of products to choose from..Valentes, take this as my public profession of love for your business!"
"We got a butcher's choice burrito. The meat was smoked pork and roast beef. The burrito was a good size and was tasty, but a few bites had un-chewable cartilage-like pieces. The tots inside were awesome and I wish there had been more inside! I'd probably go with the OG next time."
"This was easily the best sandwich I've had in Denver. They slice the deli meat fresh and make each sandwich fresh. They have great gluten free bread too! The vibes feel like you stumbled into a humble New York sandwich shop, but are about to have the best sandwich if your life. The staff is friendly, the place looks very unassuming and simple, but their product is stellar. This is such a great neighborhood spot!"
"Denver has a bunch of delis, would be delis, pretend delis, sandwich shops that think they're delis, sort of Jewish delis, and the New York Deli News which is the closest thing we've got to a classic, New York City-style Jewish deli. It has been my favorite since they opened in 1989 and it is my favorite now. They hit all of my hot buttons: matzo ball soup, deli salads, chopped liver, a huge list of fantastic, overstuffed sandwiches (corned beef, pastrami, corned beef & pastrami!), blintzes, all day breakfast, and weekend brunch. The space was getting a little tired on my last visit several months ago, but I was surprised this visit with a fancy new sign, a new color scheme, new menus, a tidied up interior, and new systems, including very nice hand-held terminals for the servers. Everything ran very efficiently.I had my frequent order of blintzes on this visit. They were tasty, hot, and fresh. My friend had a very generously-sized cheese omelet which he enjoyed. I love the matzo ball (chicken) soup here. The matzo balls are always tender and the soup richly flavored. The sandwiches are great. You can't go wrong with any of them. This place hits the spot whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The New York Deli News is one of Denver's treasures. This is the place for the authentic New York deli experience. Accept no substitutes."
"I was having an emotionally garbage day, and normally when that happens, I actually do call my mother. The next best thing happened though, which is going out for lunch with a good friend. She recommended CYM Deli, and I can't believe I've been missing out!Got the Spicy Pastrami which has become one of my favorite sandwiches in Denver. I have to try all the others, as well as the Tennyson location. Service is great. Not much seating and it can be hard to find parking in this neighborhood, but it's totally worth any trek or wait."
"Far and away, one of the most underrated restaurants in Denver. I wish I lived on this side of town, because Tessa Delicatessen could easily be a 2-3 times a week neighborhood place. The menu is straightforward with every item made with intention and detail. You won't go home hungry. At the helm, you have a husband and wife duo who know what they're doing. The space is larger than you'd expect for a "delicatessen" and its size is deceiving from its Colfax entrance. It's difficult for a restaurant do execute breakfast, lunch and dinner and somehow all three are excellent. I have enjoyed their dinner options like the pastas over the years, but if you can have one meal here make it a sandwich. Hardest part will be narrowing down which one you're going to order. You'll find cold and hot options, and sometimes a special or two.Oh, and while I'm here don't forget about their burger. Denver makes a lot of burgers and Tessa's rendition should be in that conversation. On my last visit, I went with a newer sandwich from their menu, the Tessa Chopped Cheese. Now Denver doesn't know too much about this sandwich and I've been let down a handful of times ordering it elsewhere. NOT HERE.For starters, the bread they use is a slam dunk. Seeded hoagie roll is crisp on the outside and super soft in the middle. My only qualm was how big and bready the sandwich was. Nonetheless, I could eat the bread by itself. The inside melty and the perfect consistency. Is it exactly like a New York bodega? No, and that's fine. It's just as delicious, just as satiating, and just as satisfying. Melty, creamy, salty unctuousness. Easily the best chopped cheese I've had in Denver!Supporting local businesses has always been important. But when you find a husband and wife owned spot doing it the right way without taking shortcuts you want to shout it from the rooftops. More foodies need to know about the amazing things happening here. I can't believe it took me so long to write them a 5-star review!"
"So ... I love Rosenbergs who has been a Denver stable for ages, except when Call Your Mother came into town via DC.. I can't get enough of these bagels and sandwiches. I love their sunny side breakfast bagels but they are one of the view that would have Zatar too.My favorites are their Everything, Sesame, and Zatar. Even when I'm trying to be low on carbs - forget about it. My Asian Jewish family approves and I'm from the East Coast originally before I made Colorado my home ... sooo I am so glad I can finally order some decent bagels around here."
"Great parking. Cool decor. This place consistently delivered exceptional food. Loved the grilled ham and cheese and the chef salad. The only downside: this place is 1,020 miles from my home! They have a LONG list of amazing sandwiches and I'd try them all if I was closer. This is a great area altogether with a lot of cool places."
"Came here to grad a quick to go sandwich based off of really great reviews from my coworkers. I ordered their cheese steak that had chorizo instead of the traditional sliced beef. Oh my gosh this was one of the best sandwiches I have had. The bead alone blew me away as it was fresh and held up great for the sandwich. The warm meat, cheese, peppers, and onions created perfect harmony in the sandwich and I finished it feeling super happy. The employees were very friendly which only made my sandwich taste even better. This is a great deli to grab a sandwich from, give it a try ASAP!"
"Great little deli tucked away on the interior first floor of a skyscraper. Fortunately the name is on the outside, almost like it's the name of the tower.I had the Reuben and a pickle. Tasty and fresh! Looks also like they make their own salads: potato salad, tuna salad, pasta salad, egg salad, et al.Workers dashing off to lunch told me this is a family owned deli. Sure tastes like the unique preparations of people who care, rather than a chain deli. I'll be back!"
"I was quite impressed with this deli! I have rarely been to a kosher deli outside the NYC area which had good food and this one certainly did! The front of the deli has a store with a large variety of groceries and meats and wine. In the back is a sit down restaurant and what looks like a small catering hall. Even if you don't adhere to the rules of kashrut, I highly recommend the restaurant! The food is wonderful and the staff are pleasant!"
"Snarfs is my favorite local sandwich shop/chain in Colorado! Each sandwich is handcrafted with love and fills me up every single time. I've tried most of what they offer but a couple stands out particularly their motherclucker and Italian sandwiches. Their house peppers are to die for and adds a nice little zing to each bite! In the photo was their special which was the Italian but with meatballs and marinara which was amazing.Ok but what about their off menu offerings? Boy get the Mother clucker now! Rotisserie chicken, veggies and the secret ingredient...honey! It adds a nice little sweetness which cuts into the saltiness to the toppings. You won't be disappointed! We've only been two of their locations, which are the cherry Creek and University shops, but both provide amazing service and good eats."
"Gates Deli & Grog is an under the radar sandwich shop on Pearl St. inside of Platt Park Brewing. In addition to their signature sandwiches, they have a few wraps, salads, nachos, wings and tacos on the menu. This place could easily be named No Frills Sandwiches or Very Good Sandwiches and no one would bat an eye. I was in the area for work multiple times last week, and I'm so glad I checked Yelp to hook me up with tasty grub. I love me some sandwiches and ended up coming here twice in just a few day span. If that's not telling, I don't know what is!CORN BEEF MELT ($14) // Corned beef, white cheddar, pickles, coleslaw, thousand island dressing, on marble rye. Very flavorful. Generous with the dressing, and possibly too liberal for my liking. I needed 5 or 6 napkins while eating it, haha. Balanced sandwich, good zip and tang to counter the salty meat.FARM FRESH CHICKEN CLUB ($15) // Grilled chicken breast on a fresh baked bun stacked w/ bacon, arugula, pickled red onions, fresh guacamole, cheddar cheese, ranch & everything bagel seasoning. WOAH. The only thing missing was the kitchen sink. Although a ton of ingredients, they all worked well together, and you could easily taste each one individually. My only knock was the chicken, that was a bit on the dry side. Other than that, a vibrant sandwich with a delicious freshly baked bun. There's a lot going right here. Online ordering is a synch. They have a walk up window, but if you're inside the brewery you can order at the bar. Perfect for grab and go, or pounding a few beers with a big group. Look forward to trying more of their unique and carefully crafted sandwiches!"
"Love having this place in the neighborhood. They've got many staples - dairy, lunch meat, pantry, and even some bathroom needs. Dried peppers? Yup! Fresh ice cream? That too. Friendly staff? Absolutely! And wow, their breakfast sandwiches are worth waking up for! Just head in, order, and in just a few minutes you'll have one of the best morning bites ever. I believe you can pre-order online, too. Go and enjoy!"
"We liked this place. Came on a Thurs for lunch on our way from the airport to CB...and based upon Yelp reviews....and it was a good choice. We ordered the Prosciutto Basil, Turkey Pesto, and Gyro Wrap, and we were all very pleased with our selections.Small place....local feel....and great food."
"Only ever purchased sandwiches here. Their grocery options look great but I have yet to get anything.Good sandwich options, nice and filling with good breads and meats/cheeses. Solid prices.Staff is attentive and quick, make a darn good Italian sub. Had several different sandwiches and all have been great."
"Amazing sammies. And lord I have tried most there.Curtis Park Deli is dangerous...I mean it is a block away from me and the Sandwiches are addictive. It starts with that amazing bread.... so fresh and pairs with the meats perfectly.Than the combination of items on the sandwich is so creative and flavorful it will addict you too.Small parking lot in front just in case."
"With another wave of Covid upon us, Marczyk's is a trusty market. Still following all the guidelines while providing fresh produce, meats, gourmet goodies and whatnot. Their Parisian sandwich is still my favorite. Butter makes everything better. Pro tip: put some Dijon mustard on that sando and you're cooking with gas!Safe local shopping."
"This market has a specific customer in mind. One who is a foodie. A Bougie Betty or Bill who wants to eat something unique to brag about. Someone who wants to eat local or small brands and doesn't mind paying for it.If you are that type of person then you won't mind buying things in this store. If you aren't it would be a negative experience.I bought a few things and sighted some for future potential purchases (tillamook ice cream anyone). I would probably come again for a fresh ingredient search for dinner sometime."
