"3 years later, it's time to write another review for Adrift! I can't believe it's been that long since I visited. My tiki bar obsessed friend was in town, so this was the obvious choice. That and I knew there were tiki mugs to add to her collection. We made reservations for 9pm on a Friday night. Customer service here is notably fantastic. We felt well taken care of.If you're looking for a tiki bar to mess you up, this is the spot. I splurged on a 'Lost in the Ayame Arashi' because it had gin, plum liqueur, creme de violet, and ube powder. My friend got the 'Captain's Share of the Spoils" which was a treat. We ended our night with 'Ta Kill Ya Pain'. Everything was delicious, and I love how they calibrate booziness on their menu.I previously criticized the food at Adrift but didn't get any this time, so I wasn't able to compare. We ate dinner beforehand, which I would HIGHLY recommend doing if you're not getting dinner at the bar. Clearly their specialty is tiki drinks, so maybe stick with that. Also, take an Uber here. Either way, I'm excited to bring more friends in the future!"
"I've walked by this place numerous times, but could not partake for one reason or another, until my recent birthday. After Ocean Prime dinner we had some time to kill before a comedy show at Comedy Works, so we finally made the stop. I love this place, the drinks are handcrafted and delicious. The interior decor is sophisticated, but not pompous. The bartender was super sweet and made crafted and stiff drinks for us. She was all about taking care of the patrons, even though she was the only one there and everyone decided to arrive at the same time. I didn't mind the wait, as I watched her bustling the bar; it was quite entertaining to me. I would definitely recommend it, a great bar with one of the best decors in town. Its location with proximity to Larimer Square restaurants and Comedy Works, is perfect to visit before or after. Good luck figuring out the entry to the restrooms :)"

Visit Restaurant Page"I have become a little bit of a neighborhood regular at Revival. I love this spot. Their happy hour being on Saturdays also is one of the big reasons why. Inside it's a nice vibe, lots of wood, kind of that new/old/retro combination. Everything is finished nicely/classy. There's ample seating and check out the different specials they have on different days of the week. They also have a couple pool tables next door that people don't always realize. The bathrooms could be better, but, ah no real biggie.I've tried different foods, as well. All have been delicious. I think I got one sandy baked oyster once, which always sucks to chew sand in your teeth, but I guess it's going to happen here and there with oysters. The food is good. They also have quite the selection of whiskys & bourbons. My friend was shocked to see Pappy Van Winkle there. I was lucky enough to share his! Lol"
"New cocktail bar alert! Serving up classic cocktails in a super cute neighborhood spot is Pretty Neat. Kismet, to have been able to come during their grand opening without even knowing due to some local friends. Out of LA and into Denver, we're winning with traditional cocktails but of course the ability to make drinks based on their library. I wish this spot was in my 'hood because I would be here a lot. Instead, it'll be a staple when on Broadway. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot that serves up solid cocktails in a casual bar. There's also a speakeasy aspect bar hidden upstairs in the back. Visit! Cheers!"
"Gattara is a pretty space inside a boutique-looking hotel. The dining area is pretty spacious and they also have a wood fired pizza oven.I come here most for happy hour. There's is decent, with drink and food options. The HH food is extra small portions, so it's kinda "happy" hour but might be the actual price of a meatball from a whole meal, maybe, lol. There's a bartender there I really like but service overall has always been very good. This is another spot I learned about from a Yelp event. These events pay off with repeat business!! :)Fun fact, this was the last place I was out at in 2019 for brunch before the world shut down. I'll always remember that and being one of like only 2-3 other tables for like 3 hours, it was crazy!"
"Inside the Ramble Hotel, the Lobby is a beautiful Velvet Couch meets MarbleMeets Chandelier cocktail bar. FYI - it's a coffee shop during the day and if you want a vibe, come here to do work. For big groups - you can do reservations for the bar."
"We stayed at the Jacquard hotel in Cherry Creek North and dined at their restaurant, Narrative for dinner during our stay. The place was packed, and we were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was airy with clean lines and a white bookshelf wall display was the main focal point. Our server Mariah was fantastic! She recommended each item we ordered and knew the menu inside and out. The Lobster Corndogs were served with jalapeño hot sauce & smoked pepper honey. The Tuna Poke was made with avocado, sesame ponzu, green onion, yuzu kusho, & furikake rice crackers. This starter was fresh & bright - the tender fish, creamy avocado, and delicately crisp rice crackers had a really good texture combination. The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, shaved pecorino, buttered panko, & cured egg yolk. This was one of the best Caesar salads we have had in Denver - the shaved pecorino generously coated each leaf of the crisp lettuce. The Braised Short Rib was made with mascarpone polenta, roasted mushrooms, hazelnut, & orange mustarda. The short rib was so tender it fell apart under our forks. It had a robust flavor of succulent beef and combined with the mascarpone polenta, it made for decadent bites. The Diver Scallops were made with butternut squash, parsnip, roasted apple, & cider gastrique."
"I went here for an event tonight, and I WAS SO IMPRESSED!! You would never know this used to be a divey diner on Colfax!!! They have done amazing things with the space. The outdoor patio was by my far my favorite! It was super serene with fountains and private seating areas- you would never know it was right on Colfax! The drinks were spectacular and the food was yummy! The service was also top notch! I will be back!!!"
"This bar is a mix of tiki, punk rock, and college bar. It's not the nicest, cleanest place...so managing expectations is key. They have an extensive specialty cocktail and matching mocktail menu which is super cool. True to tiki form, they are on the sweeter side, but I was pleasantly surprised that the cocktails weren't sickly sweet. My first drink came with a long hair sticking out of the top so I removed it and didn't complain since the bartenders hair looked freshly washed. We came around 9pm Sunday and there was plenty of free parking right in front. The menu says 20% gratuity included but they add the 20% on top of the menu price so that is misworded and misleading."
"What a great lunch find. Thanks Yelp. The beef belly taco and the carnitas were amazing. Bursting with flavor on house made corn tortillas. My server was spot on, helpful friendly and made sure she had things out is short order. Pancho & Jane is relatively new, open only a few months, but I believe they have that special quality ingredient that will make them successful. I was impressed with the drink menu, although since it was mid day I did not partake. I will definitely go back some evening when I can have a few of their margaritas or mescal cocktails. The bar is large and cool. Reminds me of a resort in Mexico somewhere. Parking on the street can be tricky. I will be back soon."
"Can we get more of the quality sandwich craft-personship like this place ? Wow. Simply bomb....This place is great, service was thorough and fast for the quality of product they produce. I got the Chicken Parm and it reaffirmed why I love pesto. Cheese was all over the sandwich and was amazing. The chips included obviously were great too and very fresh. I was so satisfied I bought the Italian sandwich as well to take on my journey. Make sure to come by this place!"
"One of my favorite cocktail bars in Denver! It's nestled in between storefronts along Tennyson Street in north Denver, easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but what a special place. They have some of the most original cocktail creations around and the bartenders also fix up the standards with pizzazz and skill. Cozy, intimate, sometimes dark, and often full. You might need to keep trying to get in, or wait. But it's definitely worth it! We sat the bar and had a nice chat with our mixologist."

It's a small place actually but cozy inside. The vibe was typical tiki, nothing extra special though. The drinks were a disappointment for both of us. I honestly think they tasted watered down. Sorry but that's my opinion of my taste buds. My partner was craving a well done mai tai, was so excited for the real deal but he was not pleased with this one. I choose the painkiller for the house made coconut cream but it didn't taste much like coconut, though. Expected more from the drinks but still a decent place to checkout. Outside facade is cool.

Roosevelt was the last bar that I went to in Downtown Denver and I was pleasantly surprised at how fun this place is! I ordered the Skinny Dipper, which came highly recommended by the bartender. He mentioned that his wife always gets this cocktail whenever she visits the bar. I had minimal expectations for Skinny Dipper since there's carrot juice in there, but it ended up being one of the better cocktails I've had. I would describe it as creative and refreshing.Overall, I was glad I ended my night out at Roosevelt. Great music and vibe!

Tonight our server was Caroline and she was by far the sweetest cali girl who gave us the best service which is always the case every time I've come to Revival, we had the pleasure of hanging out with my good friend Taylor as he spun records all night and filled the vibes with great music as usual. The owners Emily and her husband Dan are the sweetest couple with great taste bringing their family traditions to all of us with the delicious gumbo from Louisiana and the crispy crab pretzel Italian style. Their two backgrounds make a beautiful collaboration between the ambience, the atmosphere the quality of the food and the drinks.I tried an orange wine for the first time and was mind blown by how smooth and sweet it was definitely a must stop shop anytime in town . This should definitely become a stable of Denver.

I came for 1 cocktail after my dinner at LA Guatemalteca in Aurora. They were busy with the backroom speakeasy space reserved for a large party. I was welcomed by Cristy, the wife and partner of Xanthus of Pretty Neat. I chose the Jungle Bird with rum, pineapple juice, campari and simple syrup. A nice colorful drink with slightly strong rum. They still charge only $12 each for their cocktails. If you ask for specific ingredients, the cost will be higher. They provide QR codes to order takeout at nearby restaurants you can bring into the bar. They also have 3 mocktails + small bites.

It was a family lunch with my adult daughter after she had just come back from an overseas vacation. She had lots of stories to tell me so to have a nice time with her, I wanted the place to be more than casual. Solid 4 star reviews of Gattara appeared promising when I looked it up on Yelp as the photos to show its ambience looked good. Maybe my anticipation was too high (I should have shown up without any??) but 4-star is simply an overstatement. It's like a rock band that everyone raves about but the fact is, it's so pretentious. Hence, my honest rating of this restaurant is 2.5 star (but I'm giving it 3 to be generous.)Service: it was a little after 11am. The restaurant had barely people in it but service was slow and barely basic. There was a single gentleman (appeared to be a hotel guest; this really is in Warwick Hotel) who appeared to have waited for a GOOD amount of time before he got his food. He even stood up to grab an attention of some worker to ask where his food was before he finally got his food. It didn't take too long to finish his food but once he was done with it, he asked for a check which he had to wait for. He actually had to leave the premises to go back to his car (for his meter??) so he could come back to his table to pay for his tab was the improvement I got. This slowness of service was (unfortunately) extended to me/us. After a female worker (she was the only person in the restaurant who was attentive and nice) filled our glasses with water while I was awaiting my daughter to arrive, she said, "Your server will be right with you." There was at least ten (plus) minutes before our waiter finally came to our table. As my daughter hadn't arrived yet at that point, I asked for a cup of some coffee product (he then told me the only thing the restaurant could make was Americano. Wait, this Italian restaurant can only serve Americano but they can't make cortado or cappuccino or latte??? Very strange..) I had no choice but to order Americano. Well, turns out, this Americano exceeded my expectations. This was the only thing though that was more than decent. Our waiter only came to us to take our orders. He didn't come to ask us how everything tasted or if we wanted a dessert after our meal, you know, those basic things a typical waitestaff asks. He absolutely had no smile on his face; he was just doing absolutely minimal/minimum to get by.)Food: I've already mentioned about Americano that was more than decent. Two plates we ordered (once my daughter arrived) were Dilicata Salad with salmon add-on ($27) and Meatballs ($13). The arugula in the center had more than necessary amount of salt in it. The restaurant should go a bit easier on the salt. Overall though, this dish doesn't simply live up to what's described on the menu. Again, this is a pretentious rock band that is simply overrated for the kind of price for lunch. The meatballs, however, were decent. Although one thing about them was the fact that it may have sat at the kitchen counter for at least 5 to 10 minutes before it reached our table as the meatballs were barely warm. My daughter's mocktail was nothing but sour; its appearance disguised as a quality concoction. I wasn't impressed...Ambience: Despite what I had to say above, I'm happy to say that this place gets a decent score in this category. Spacious and clean is what many will notice. Cat-themed artworks and decors are seen throughout; I find this cute. They also have a spacious patio space. The bar area also appeared nice. Definitely a good place to sit and grab a drink solo or with someone. I wouldn't bother coming back to Gattara driving from my DTC neighborhood just to dine for a simple lunch or dinner. I can simply find something equivalent or even better in my direct neighborhood saving time and gas.

Nice upscale bar located in the Ramble Hotel. But has its own outside entrance.Came here as the last stop of the night in Denver on a Friday night while visiting. There is a hostess out in front. Our party of 3 had to put our name on a list, and wait for a text message before we could get in. It took maybe an hour or a bit less? I guess we needed a resy, opps. (Don't make that mistake unless your ok with waiting a while)Its super cute inside large space. Beautiful chandeliers, leather couches, with lounge tables, and seating scattered all around. Mood lighting of course. And apparently theres an outside patio as well, but I didn't know about it, so I didn't check it out. The cocktail menu is descriptive enough to help filter your choice. It had a fun vibe. I could easily see people gathering here after a business meeting. Or ending up here after a night on the town. I saw folks on dates, and in larger groups. Service - was good. Our bartender Regean was not afraid to look at her notes when we asked questions about the cocktail choices, which was fine by me. I prefer that, over her making it up. Service is on the slower side (as stated in other reviews), but not completely unreasonable. Drinks - are creative and interesting, with a costly price tag. My drink was $21. I had the San Junipero, I enjoyed it. If we were out longer, I would have likely tried another cocktail.

We had such a lovely dinner here last night. The restaurant is higher end while feeling casual and homey. We loved the ambiance and decor of the space. Our waitress, Erica, was so much fun. She had great recommendations and was just a joy to engage with. We had the lobster hotdogs, mussels and corn soup to start. We love a good appetizer. These were all perfectly cooked with great flavor. We split the smash burger and a chopped salad for dinner and the burger was one of my favorites of all time. Drool worthy. Resisting the urge to go back again tonight but very tempted. If you're looking for a romantic dinner date spot or cozy meal with friends in Cherry Creek, this is a solid choice. We will be back next trip for sure!

Highly recommend Champagne Tiger on Colfax! AMAZING cocktails, delicious food, and great service! The patio is HUGE, with an outdoor bar and beautiful landscaping!

I came here with my boyfriend during the hot days we've been having and grabbed a margarita and some dinner. The food was great and the margs were even better haha. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. Definitely check this place out and grab a tasty marg:)"
"I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally made it here! They do not take reservations so you wait in person for your table to be ready! Luckily, we got in around 8.20 pm on Friday evening which is a bit late for dinner but we got a table instantly. I got the papayita drink which was alright and my husband got the Paloma which was good. Our friend was visiting from India and had never tried mezcal, he tried the mahahali drink and that was really good! For apps we got the elote corn and guacamole - both were freshly made. I personally loved the elote corn. For mains we got the tacos - I loved the pork belly tacos, it was almost like the al pastor but better. Our friend is a vegetarian and got the Rajas which he loved. We also got the veggie enchiladas and the pollo main dish - they were both so well made. Overall, I liked the food here! I am glad we stopped by for dinner here."
"I remember when Blanco landed in Denver a few years back. I was blown away by the beautiful build out and their dedication to revitalizing this part of town. Years later, it's grown into one of my favorite chain restaurants because the food, service and cocktails are consistently top notch! Our last visit solidified it being a go-to when in this part of town. 9+Co has plenty of options, albeit many chain-type places. Blanco (and their other concept, Culinary Dropout) have always separated themselves from the rest.*Don't miss the weekday happy hour (3-6pm) and all day on Tuesdays*WARM QUESO ($13) -- Guacamole, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo. We added Ground Beef ($3) and this elevated the already good queso into G R E A T queso. Chips were salted and perfectly crispy. The queso had the texture we all crave and love, and with the surrounding accoutrements we were devouring it faster than a race car at the Indy 500.TIGER SHRIMP FAJITAS ($23) -- Spicy Garlic Butter, Served with Caramelized Peppers & Onions, Elote, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo & Queso Blanco. Choice of Black or Charro Beans. I can't tell you the last time I ordered fajitas, but I'm really glad I ordered these. The amount of food alone was worth the price of admission. The shrimp were plump and juicy and had a great snap. The tortillas are made in house and you can absolutely taste the difference. Not to mention, my Cadillac Margarita, and even the salsa that came with the chips to begin the meal, were excellent. I literally have zero negatives at Blanco. Service is always spot on, and the vibes (whether indoors or on the patio) are always lively and fun.Impressed with this place since day one. No signs of slowing down. Check 'em out if you want a delicious meal in a trendy setting!"
"The vibes are amazing here. I love that they have an outdoor and indoor section. The indoor bar is so cool parts of it are made out of bottles! The decor is funky and witchy. They have a large selection of cocktails and craft-beer. I would 10/10 come back!"
"Vibe was fantastic with a beautiful dining room and large patio outside, but cocktails were just ok. Was only here for one drink, though (hence the short review)."
"Great spot for some delicious pierogis and happy hour where the infused in-house vodkas are buy one, get one. Also, a good Saturday/Sunday brunch spot, too. They had a great brunch deal then it changed with new ownership but then it got better again, so I'm just trying to keep up with it!The happy hour for some reason only includes the fried pierogies but off the regular menu you can get the steamed with this ever-so-yummy onion butter over the top of them. It sounds so simple but it's so good! Both styles are good, actually. Also tried the happy hour flatbread recently, it was just ok probably won't order it again. I'll have to go back for brunch again soon since they changed the prices up a little bit again. FYI, this is also the former Kingas restaurant, now called The Mansion since the owner sold it."
"If you're searching for an outdoor patio in downtown Denver where you can indulge in modern cocktails and tantalizing tapas from the grill, look no further than The Terrace at Room for Milly. With its delightful ambiance and menu, this gem is sure to please. The Terrace menu is available Fridays & Saturdays from 2pm - 7pm for guests dining on the patio. We arrived at Room for Milly and were seated outside on The Terrace. The Terrace was framed by verdant plants, flowers, and charming green umbrellas. Our server Alec was awesome; he was attentive and had great recommendations on both food & cocktails. From The Terrace's grill we had the Kebab Plate made with Caribbean Shrimp, Lamb Kofta, & Guajillo Jackfruit served atop Quinoa Salad made with Compressed Cucumber, Pickled Red Pepper, and Toasted Almonds. Each skewer was grilled to perfection offering a delightful combination of flavors and textures that satisfied our taste buds. My favorite were the juicy Caribbean Shrimp.Due to some rain, we enjoyed some time inside Room for Milly as well. The interior was wistful and evocative. Feminine art pieces, a soft pastel color palette, and an art deco-inspired bar created an atmosphere that was both inviting & sophisticated. For Cocktails I started with The SS City of Paris made with Vodka, Grapefruit, Rosewater, and Sparkling Rosé. Youthfully adventurous, bright, & clear-eyed with a hint of mischief - this cocktail was floral on the nose with a refreshingly crisp taste.Jaclyn had the Delta Royale made with Blanco Tequila, Blanc Vermouth, Lime, Giffard Fraise de Bois, Chareau, & Lavender. Determined and full-throated with a scarf snapping taut - this cocktail was strawberry pink & inspired.Ally had the Mont Paral Cava. A delicate pale rosé with fine persistent bubbles. For Bites we had the Whipped Feta & Crudité made with Tomato Confit, Olive Tapenade, & Seasonal Vegetables. This dish showcased thick whipped feta complemented by a medley of vegetables. The vibrant colors and fresh flavors of this dish were perfect for sharing and savoring alongside our cocktails."
"The Fifth String has taken over what used to be Old Major in the Highlands and if there is a Sleeper of the year award, I am giving it to them! I hadn't heard much about this spot, but if the Yelp reviews can tell you anything, it's that it is worth 5 WHOLE stars - and who am I to argue with my fellow Yelpers??First, their cocktails are TOP TIER. I tried a couple: Yuzu Enjoy Myself with Japanese whisky, yuzu puree and egg white and the Blood Orange Crush with mezcal, fireberry tea, spiced blood orange - inventive and all DELICIOUS. Second, the food! Their menu is simple - some great, fresh seafood, steak, pasta. There was not one bite I did not enjoy:Tallow Candle Bread Service - a candle made out of rendered beef fat and seasoned with herbs and fleur de sel is brought to the table with fantastic, housemade bread. This is a zero waste product and everything is edible except for the flame! Delicious and unique. Wagyu Steak Carpaccio - this is some of the best carpaccio I've had in town. Chili crunch, pine nuts, harrisa aioli, thai basil, ramp kimchi, picled ramps, olive oil - it may SOUND like there's too many things on top of the shaved wagyu, but trust me IT WORKS.12oz Wagyu Flatiron - cooked perfectly medium rare served with potato mille fuielle, charred onions, kombu-beef jus, chanterelles and spinach. Don't sleep on those sides, they were also just as good as that steak.I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant- not to mention the service was just incredible. Everyone was approachable and knowledgeable and so warm and inviting. I am DREAMING of a brunch here one day - I think they had it at one point, but don't anymore. I just KNOW that menu will be ridiculous. Either way, can't wait to get back in here!"
"Seafood in landlocked Colorado? Well there's no way it can be that good, right? *insert extremely loud and obnoxious buzzer noise* WRONG! I am not going to lie, I set my expectations on the lower side because I've had quite a bit of bad seafood in Colorado but I was blown away with everything we ordered. From the exterior and interior, Fish N Beer is unassuming. It gives a very relaxed, neighborhood eatery type of vibe. The food on the other hand is phenomenal. We ordered the salmon and octopus and everything from how they were cooked to the sides (the potatoes with the octopus were SO good) to the sauce were amazing. There was not a single thing I thought was lacking with the dishes. To top it all off, I'm not a big dessert person, but the key lime pie was perfectly sweet and was delicious. Our server was also on top of everything and we never had to wait for a single thing. I can't wait to go back!"
"Inga's Alpine Tavern is aptly named. When you walk in, you definitely get those cozy mountain basement vibes. The ambiance is fitting for a neighborhood, locals-only watering hole.I want to like this place more than I do. I've been here a few times since the kitchen is open fairly late (by Denver standards) and it's a nice place to chill and watch a game. But $6 Coors Banquets and $8 canned beers? This isn't a high end cocktail bar, this is more of a dive. Too steep for the quality of what you're getting. In terms of food, y'all should know by now I'm a wing lover. I even have a chicken wing tattooed on me. KIDDING, but maybe I should...$15 for an order of wings is pretty standard with inflation, so that I don't necessarily care about. But these wings are tiny with a lowercase t. There's not much meat on them, and the flavors leave you wanting more. They do load up on the carrots and celery...but that shouldn't be the most exciting part about a chicken wing adventure.Maybe their wings aren't all that and I should expand my horizons to other menu items. They do have great pictures on their website, but I've never personally seen food that resembles it in person.Like I said, a super cozy neighborhood spot. I've just been let down with the food options a few times. Honestly it won't completely deter me from coming back, I just feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick here!"
"We stopped in tonight for a birthday dinner with six of us. I have always enjoyed this place but have not been there since covid. This was a fabulous dinner experience and we are all glad we choose this restaurant. The colorful lights and fish pond is a nice view when you enter the building. The spiral staircase up to the dining room is unique and very cool. It's very attractive and wives a wonderful feel to the experience. We were seated immediately and our server was a wonderful names QiQi. She was fun, friendly, helpful, prompt and downright spunky. She is a fabulous server that really made our dining experience all that much better. She is upbeat and chatty and we all loved her. The decor inside the restaurant is fascinating and fun to look at. They did a great job with the Japanese decor. Now, of course, no review would be complete without discussing the food. Wow, covers it. We had everything from pineapple saki, hot saki, egg rolls, seafood teriyaki, shrimp fried rice, veggie lo mein and a few meals I can't spell. They were hot, freshly made, well presented and delicious. This dinner was worth every dime we paid for it and we will gladly return in the near future. Thank you QiQi for making this birthday dinner a complete success. Ps. We received a free warm Saki as a check in bonus."
"Love this bar in LoHi! It has our favorite drink that we had our entire trip - The Leaf Peeper. We loved it so much we came back a second day! The bartenders are wonderful. They give great recommendations and are highly knowledgeable of their cocktails. I also tried the Cold-Blooded and Shadowlands. They were delicious, too. The cocktails are so well designed, with unique and carefully selected ingredients. Prices are comparable to other cocktail bars, and the ambiance is classy but laid back. A must stop when in Denver, and make sure you check out the Leaf Peeper! Parking is street and can be tight."
"Lyons, CO. We were happy to find a new dining establishment in Lyons that serves fine cuisine instead of the usual festival tourist food. We had a reservation but at 4:30 we didn't need one. We chose to sit inside because it was just too hot to do the al fresco thing. The inside ambiance was sparse and sort of industrial but it did not matter in the least, we were there for the food. Our lovely server guided us on what to order on the Happy Hour menu because those items are half off the regular price. When it got to be around 5:30 we started ordering additional items off the regular menu. The whole experience was awesome, the food came out in an orderly fashion so we never had a table full of plates nor did we have long lapses between courses. We started out with virgin Mojitos, we don't do well with alcohol in high elevations with extra dry climate. The mojitos were expertly crafted and a quality thirst quencher. Here is what we sampled: Yuca Fritas- (note: NOT Yucca) with aji verde, very tasty, sort of fried or baked with zero grease. Colombian Sliders- with mango, crispy plantains, and Serrano ham. Pretty damn amazing. We ordered a second one right away. Honestly I could have just ordered four or five of these and been happy. Ensalada César- what makes this Caesar so special and unique is the almond dressing and the manchego. Do not skip this dish. Ensalada Wild- pretty but boring compared to everything else. Pinchos- Small chicken skewers with membrillo bbq and salsa blanco. I loved these. Exciting flavors for a chicken breast dish. Ahi Tuna- Wow ! in taste and appearance, just plain wonderful. So we tried all the proteins except the octopus, maybe next time? Desserts: Chocolate Sipper- two shots of chocolate espresso sabayon with the distinct additive of Brazilian Rum (Cachaca?). Rather decadent, the dish included a biscotti that was typical. I enjoyed the flavors and the experience much more by simply sipping, like the epithet clearly states. Key Lime Crema- The over all highlight of the evening. Just a knockout dessert which was basically a key lime crème brûlée with a meringue topping. If you must have any of the desserts start with this one."
"All Things BaconIf you're like me, bacon runs through your veins. You put it on your toothpaste, muddle it in your Old Fashions, sprinkle it on your ice cream, juice it in your morning IV, and hangs from your rear view mirror in your car as an air freshner. If this is you, too, this is your spot.*Spins 3 Times* Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary.Am I dead yet? Were you just as deathly afraid of doing this children's myth when you were a kid just as I was? Imagine if this myth were true, kids would be dropping likes flies all across the world, population would be completely in check, and Bloody Mary herself would be more busy than Santa on Christmas Eve. Okay, but I made it to two Bloody Maries until I had to tap out, and they were delicious! Must try, but done die!6.95% Service ChargeMy only knock is a BIG one, a secret charge on the bill that's not noted by the servers when giving you the bill. Essentially, if you normally tip like I do at 20%, you've essentially tipped 26.95%. My other issue with it is that it's "Above the Line," so as a subset of the surcharge, we get an extra tax on top of a Service Charge. Not cool. Just raise your prices."
"GNH might be the BTS of the Denver Ramen scene... their dishes "light it up like dynamite!" If you're unfamiliar, BTS is a famous K-Pop boy band that sings the 2020 hit song, "Dynamite". Check your spotify or reference your last wedding, you know the song. :DSo what was so "Dynamite!", let's break it down...Upon walking in, I felt a "I-I-I'm in the stars tonight, so watch me bring the fire and set the night alight". They have really vividly colorful murals and lantern lighting from above that gives a "shining through the city with a little funk and soul". If you're thinking about this spot for a date or gathering, I think you can definitely "bring a friend, join the crowd". Anyone would enjoy the very music video-isc vibe. The service was "cha-ching like money" just on it! We were greeted with cool kindness, solid explanations to our questions about the menu and swift refills of our water glasses. We got the Deathwish and Miso Bacon... both were "Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na-na, na-na-na" and lit our taste buds up "like dynamite!" The broth in both was salty, savory and all kinds of "whoa oh oh"!If you like spicy, Deathwish is for you. If you don't, Miso Bacon. My favorite was the Deathwish. I'd say it was the "I'm diamond, you know I glow up" of the Miso Bacon, because the bowls have the same ingredients excluding their chili sauce (which I found to be a well-balance of spice, tang and delicately sweet). So, if you're in the area, I'd dance your way into Glo Noodle House! You'll be sure to have a "Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na, ayy" DYNAMITE experience. :D"
"Such a cool spot to get custom cocktails with friends. I like how the bartender asks you a series of questions, and you have room to add a little fun flair to get a surprise, unique cocktail. I asked for a spicy floral cocktail and received this one below. It was gin, lime, ginger, cucumber, and I forgot what else."
"So this place was so good at the Yelp event that I had to come back again! My daughter and I came after we spent the day at Elitchs and had a light dinner here. We sat on the meatball side. I just love that side cause it's like a calmer vibe which is my vibe. The other side just is to much cause of course it's brighter and more seating. Both are great though! This is just a me preference and plus I love love the decor on the meatball side. We were immediately sat and we sat at a booth close to the bar. I of course ordered me a tequila me smalls and it was delicious just for some reason didn't tasty 100% the same as when I went for the event which is fine it's still good it just was less sweet and more on the tangy side. To eat I ordered the shishito peppers and the lime shrimp all off the appetizer menu. My absolute favorite is the shisito peppers that they pair perfectly with the marmalade sauce it comes with. The peppers are always cooked and seasoning so perfectly and the perfect amount of spicyness as well. I could eat this all day everyday! The shrimp were of course delish but hands down I really only came for the shisito peppers lol. Our server I don't remember his name except he's from Chicago, he was absolutely an amazing server and was on it with the service and keeping our drinks and needs met! Thank you again for amazing food, scenery and service!"
"We were wandering down Larimer street and we were planning to grab a Lyft at the end of the road. Before we ordered it, we saw a red neon sign that read "cocktail lounge". We headed towards it and decided to walk down the stairway with the mint green painted walls. I'm so glad we did. I had the clarified punch and it was one of the best cocktails I've had recently. So delicious. The other cocktail we tried was also good even thought I don't like mescal as much as other spirits, it was still well balanced. My partner said he enjoyed it. Service was attentive and swift. This place had a really chill, tropical vibe with beautiful mood lighting. I very much enjoyed relaxing over a delicious drink in the Emerald Eye lounge and will definitely go back to try other cocktails next time we are in Denver."
"My absolute favorite dish is the churros. I will be back 100% for that delicious dessert. BEEF AGUACHILE wagyu beef carpaccioSAZON CHICKEN CHEF'S STEAK CHURROSPATATAS confit potatoHOUSE BREADMy favorite was the churros. Second favorite was the rice that came in the chicken dish. Third favorite the beef aguachile. House bread yummy. I'd skip the potatoes, steak, & chicken, both fresh and delicious, but a bit plain. I will try some other dishes next time.Very lovely ambiance, I enjoyed all the decorations around the restaurant & colors.Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to coming back!"
"WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! AMAZING NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT!We spent a night in Denver before our morning flight back home, and we're glad we finished our recent Colorado trip on a high note!We arrived at around 5:30pm, and the place was quite packed already - no surprise as it was New Year's Eve! Glad we made a reservation, and we were seated right away.Service was amazing! Our server was very attentive, friendly, and considerate. We were going to order some appetizers first as we needed more time to decide on main courses. He politely asked us to place food order all at once since the kitchen was busier than usual due to holiday season. We appreciated his full transparency, and his tone and the way he handled the situation was perfect - he took good care of their kitchen crew without offending the customers!Their cocktail was probably the best I've had during the whole trip. I had the "Birdwatcher" (bourbon based), a refreshing cocktail that's well balanced between citrusy and bitterness.I'll highlight a few dishes we had from that night:- Persimmon Carpaccio + Truffle: this is an item from the "kitchen fun" section of their menu, and honestly we didn't even know what to expect. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! Persimmon's sweetness and truffle's earthiness complimented each other nicely, and the nuts on top added more texture to it!- Beet & Chicory Salad: just imagine having a bite mixed with sweetness from beets, citrusy from grapefruit, richness from goat ricotta cheese, and chewiness from pistachio. This is so satisfying! - Truffled Mushroom Tagliatelle: what a great change from the lighter carpaccio / salad dishes to a "full-body" pasta dish. Without surprise, the truffle butter further enhanced the nutty and earthy flavor of the porcini mushroom, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Point Easy, and will definitely visit again when we're in the area next time!"
