They have nice large Italian sandwiches. They're pricey. The deserts are hit or miss. There seems to be a lot of menu options, most of which I haven't tried- so can't speak for most things but--1. The meatball parm is a winner 2. The chicken parm is in dire need of more sauce, it's less delicious 3. The godfather 2 also need more sauce, and/or flavor variety. 4. Their rainbow cookie was dry AF Now that I'm writing this I realize they really need 3 stars in my book- but I will keep going back and trying more things in hope of finding more that I like. I haven't bought straight up meat from them, or the sausage rolls. That looks good. I want to keep supporting a local mom & pop but we'll see how much more I can handle! Please make a better rainbow cookie and add more sauce/variety of flavors to your sandwiches! The service is nice, and the ambience works. It's good enough, ha.

Wowee! Come get an italian beef and death by chocolate cake. I'm a midwest gal that's used to Portillos, so the italian beef was a hit. I like a chewy bread and thin meets + veggies, so that hit. Also everyone here is incredibly friendly.

French Dip Sandwich- Oh me, oh my did I get taken for a ride. I returned after several years, being in the area and remembering the sandwich I purchased last time. This time I came for the French Dip. I watched as this young lady was ladling the meat onto my 8 inch hoagie. I could easily see she was trying to determine if she was giving the correct portion of meat. To say the least I received almost no meat and a whole lot of bread. Mind you this was a $15.00 sandwich. I ended up scooping half the sandwich meat to the other side of the hoagie. Believe me when I say, you get more at Arby's, Subway or even Firehouse. I will call this sandwich the "do not return"! Very much a bummer, because I like this place.

My mom picked up an Italian sandwich for me a couple of years back and it was just meh. I honestly hadn't thought to come back but Stoned Appetite and other local social media foodies have been posting about it so I decided to try it again. Stopped in for lunch on a Friday and boy was it packed. The floor stock is set up in aisles winding towards the deli counter. Nice but you also feel rushed if there are people behind you. A nice variety of noodles, sauces, and condiments. Plus coolers of various meats and cheeses. When you make your way to the counter it's quite chaotic. So much to look at but so many people in line and behind the counter. I ordered hot Italian sausage and some salami. Both amazing and for once, the HOT Italian was actually HOT! we also ordered two sandwiches, the meatball and old school. Both delicious. Loved the old ladies at the checkout. You could really tell this was a family run business.

Top Italian deli in the Denver metro area for sure! There aren't many places around like this anymore which is sad. My parents grew up in the Italian neighborhood when the "Highlands" was just considered to be North Denver and I would visit places like this with my Grandma. So it definitely has that nostalgic feel. I love all their sandwiches, but the Italian combo is my number 1 favorite. Great meat market and Italian deli. Love their hot Italian sausage when I make my spaghetti sauce.

Whether you are Italian or not, I haven't met anyone yet who doesn't enjoy Italian food, hefty grinders, or deli items that are ample and many homemade. The entry to this establishment is brilliant, because everyone waits in line that snakes through the store until your reach your final destination of ordering a sandwich, getting something from the deli/butcher, or bringing home some cookies or deserts. Tempted to grab some fine olive oil, delightful anchovies, or an array of sandwich spreads, our carry-ons to LA just wouldn't allow it. But one can still dream. Let's get to the sandwiches. They are made on homemade baguettes and filled with high quality deli meats, chicken parm, Italian sausage, or meatballs, depending on your likings. I opted for the Carmine's Italian Combo, stuffed with capicola, salami, pepperoni, ham, and provolone cheese. Add ins were lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and hot peppers. Delicious. All sandwiches come in 8, 12, or 24" hot or cold. Staff is friendly and service is efficient, so don't be deterred by the long line, it moves quickly. Lot parking and parking in the back as well. Go here, get a sandwich, and head out to the beautiful outdoors that surrounds this gem of an Italian deli. Divertirsi!

We have attempted to eat here 3 times now. We go during times their website says they are open. They have a sign in window that says open for lunch it's 1:30 on a Friday afternoon - doors are locked, no sign indicating why they are closed. Very unprofessional.
