"This is a very good Mediterranean Restaurant. I ordered the Lamb Kebobs for an entree and almond baklava for desserts. The entree came with a very good side salad, hummus, pita bread, rice and vegetables. The lamb was cooked perfectly, and all the side items were delicious. The baklava portion was enormous and delicious. I recommend sharing the baklava, if you are not dining alone. This restaurant is located in Downtown Denver, it was easy to find parking."

"I second my original review and say that the gyro meat is phenomenal! I will also say that the portions can be bigger, but it's because I love it so much that I just want more. All the sampler platters are a must order. I have not physically been to the restaurant, but I have gotten it delivered to my home and work on multiple occasions and delivery is always quick. Whenever I get my delivery, I'm always worried that they will mess up my order, but that has never happened here."
"We've enjoyed this family run spot for years. It's always fresh with very generous portions and delish. You really can't go wrong with anything here but I usually get the chicken shawarma plate with garlic sauce. I challenge you to eat it all including the pita!! The other dish that is out of the world is the falafel. I never had delectable falafel until I came here. It melts in your mouth! Please try it and it'll change your life. You'll realize what the humble chickpea can really be! Oh and the hummus. Spectacularly creamy, fresh and oh so tasty.Next topic is the price. You can't have a great restaurant with fresh food and pay your employees fairly for a $7 huge plate of food. It's just not possible. I gladly pay the prices here to support local and have the highest quality food. It's the freshest you can find.Lastly is the customer service. They are just delightful. Helpful. Efficient. Smiles. Supportive when you can't decide. I never walk away feeling less than completely satisfied."
"1.5 years later, I'm finally visiting Amir Grill in-person. WEIRDLY, I kinda like ordering takeout from them more. The menu isn't as comprehensive, though they obviously serve the same things. Everything they serve here tastes fresh. My favorite thing to order is the Lamb Kebab plate. I've never really tried anything else. Their hummus and side of sour cream (or whatever dairy deliciousness) is incredible, accentuating every meal. One of my favorites!"
"I have been going to Ali Baba Grill since about 2014 when I attended the Colorado School of Mines in beautiful Golden, Colorado. As students, my friends and I would go there for their reasonable prices and large servings on some of their dishes and I am glad to report that has not changed. My favorite dish to get there is the lamb kabsa which has lamb shanks, vegetables, rice, and a yogurt sauce. This can easily be eaten for 2 or 3 meals depending on how much you eat. A little tip is to ask for the red hot sauce that tastes amazing with the dish! With full-size entrees, naan, hummus, and a side salad is provided as well which all taste awesome. If the weather is good, ask for the outside table to enjoy the mountain view with your meal."
"Don't know whether writing a review without pics attached quite makes it these days, but picked up a meal to take over to my MIL's and she's such an elegant old-style grand dame that taking pictures during the meal would have not been appropriate while we ate our baba ganoush, pita, and lamb kebab dinner.Just absolutely loved it. Crave now been added on to my list of favorite Middle Eastern restaurants in Denver. (Yayah's has been at the top of the list for a few years now, but Crave is definitely knocking at the door!).So stop in when you're on the east / south side of town and be super nicely surprised at the incredibly succulent baba ganoush and tender-as-could-be, perfectly prepared to the medium rare level I requested lamb kebab dinner they served up.Salaam,David "And shocked to have loved their lentil soup too" M"
"As you can tell by the plethora of reviews, this is a spot to drop into. My favorite local restaurant in all of Parker, Colorado in addition to JuJu's Coffee! Consisent high quality Greek food at a more than fair price. EXCELLENT!"
"** CLOSED DUE TO FIRE DAMAGE NEXT DOOR ** I don't want to give a negative review, so just adding this here. They were closed on a Sunday night and had a sign on the window mentioning their closure until further notice due to damage from the restaurant next door that took place from arson earlier in the week. I actually heard about the damage on the news, both there, as well as the sports bar a few doors down in the strip center. Anyway, I'd recommend calling before going by to see if they've reopened."
"I've had Bosphorus on my radar for a while now, and after seeing it make Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat in Denver, I couldn't wait any longer!I showed up for lunch at around 1PM on a weekday, perfectly timed as another guest was just leaving -- no waiting for a table! I could have spent hours gawking at the menu. After a recent trip to Greece, I've been longing for some tasty & authentic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food, and everything looked incredible. Somewhat of a panic decision, I went with the chicken gyro sandwich and a stuffed grape leaf. When asked if I wanted rice, fries, or a salad with my sandwich, I asked for rice, and was met with "hmmmm, are you sure about that?". Melih (very easily!) convinced me to change to fries and WOW I am so glad I did...hands down some of the best fries I have ever had, perfectly crispy and seasoned so well! The gyro meat was phenomenal and packed with flavor. The stuffed grape leaf was also delish! Huge portions and incredibly fair pricing!Although the food was awesome, my 5-star experience here really was brought together by the friendliest staff/owners, a cozy/homey/authentic spot filled with awesome Turkish history on the walls, and the most welcoming atmosphere. I will absolutely be back to try the Iskender Kebab, Fried Eggplant, and Turkish Tea (and to get more fries!)."
"This gem was fantastic! Their homemade bread was mouthwatering coming out of a clay oven. The koobideh (ground lamb/beef) was juicy and flavorful and the rice was perfect. The lentil soup was divine so rich and light/ packed with flavors. Highly recommend everything on the menu! Their desserts are delicious as well, looks like it's owned by a couple, mom and pop style which I loved. Ambiance was elevated for the fast causal experience."

The best lamb kafta! It is juicy light brown deliciousness. The huge plate of hummus with chicken is tasty with warm fresh pita. The food came out fast and the hot Turkish tea at the end of meal is perfect. We got baklava to go for late night snack. The walnut baklava is crunchy outside and soaked with flavorful honey.

This place was always fine but now it's very, very good. Food is just classic Mediterranean done absolutely correctly. Service is good and it's great to sit on the patio when it's warm

We stopped in after a long hike and were very hungry. I grabbed a chicken shawarma plate to go. The food was inexpensive and was a good volume. It came with chicken, rice, hummus, pitas, and I subbed in baba ganoush in place of (I believe) salad. Everything was well seasoned and had great flavor. The staff was great, especially about subbing items, and the place had a calm and quiet vibe to it.

Stopped by Crave Mediterranean Grill before checking out the Bright Nights event at four mile. We chose this spot because it was close and the price is reasonable. We ordered the gyro entree ($18), and chicken shawarma entree ($18). The entrees come with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. It was definitely a lot of food for the price. Not only was it a lot of food it was good food! Service was also great. There are a lot of tables, the decor is nice and it's cool being able to see them make the food.I definitely recommend this spot, especially if you're in the area!

This is our go to Mediterranean restaurant! Their abengelemono soup is to die for!! It always hits the spot for me!! The gyros are fantastic as well. Our favorite is the pitas! Something about the soft warm and chewy texture you get when you go to opa! It's a gem!

"It had gotten late and we were so hungry. We selected this restaurant because they appeared to be open until 10 PM. When we said we wanted to dine in, we were told they were closing at 9:30. That still gave us ample time to eat. This place is along a row of international restaurants. Inside, it's not huge, but it's cozy and clean. The Gyros plate was large and came with a salad. The presentation was beautiful. The ingredients were obviously fresh, and the meal was delicious."
"Saj is Palestinian owned and it's nice to have a restaurant in Aurora instead of traveling down to Denver. It was catered at an event I had attended. There was a good variety of salad, hummus, chips, falafel, spicy potatoes, etc. Each catering tray had a lot of food so this was great for an event. A nice variety of vegetarian and meat options. I like the salad, hummus, and spicy potatoes. The salad had olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese. The spicy potatoes did have a kick to them. The falafels were just okay."
"This place is great! Came here with some coworkers and so happy we did. This place has incredible food and is hoppin! Lunch was busy by 1145, so get there by 1130 during a weekday lunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it was so nice. I got the medi bowl with lamb which was a great size and super tasty. I could only eat half. They accidentally gave us fries and yum!! I will bring my husband here now because I know he is going to want to try their gyro. Highly recommend!"
"DEEEEE- licious! We went here wanting something on the lighter side. And we're so happy with our choice"
"The service was good. It is carry out only. I liked the variety offered on the vegetarian lovers plate. My husband ordered a gyro and hummus and pita. The hummus was of okay but it was served ice cold. The side of hummus was cold and not a large portion for the price. I liked the variety on the veggies plate but there were only two pieces of falafel that were dry and not great. I would have preferred the hummus and eggplant dip not be served cold since the salads were cold. The tabouli salad was very tasty though."
"This is a great place for tapas. Parking is easy, and they is both a patio and a casual, inviting indoor atmosphere. As for the food, I absolutely loved the mushrooms; it's a delightful mix of sweet and salty flavors, perfectly caramelized, simply amazing! The Spanish shrimps were also good, although I wish they would offer bread to soak up that yummy garlicky sauce. A couple of my friends seemed to enjoy the Petit filet mignon. The sangria, while refreshing, leaned more towards a frozen drink style, and I personally prefer a more traditional one.For dessert, I ordered the chocolate tart. I do have to say that I wish the filling had been less compact; it was quite challenging to cut through it without a piece flying all over. However, my friends raved about the Crème brûlée.It's interesting to note that 8 years ago I wrote a review of that restaurant and it seems not much has changed, I had made some similar comments about the food.If tapas aren't your thing, the menu also offers pizza, paella, and other more substantial dishes. We all enjoyed our dinner, and I would definitely go back!"
"This tiny Greek/Lebanese restaurant opened 15 years ago is what I heard from Kal, the manager onsite (in charge) with whom I interacted when I went there past 6:30 to place a to-go order. I had passed by this restaurant umpteen times in the past. Why did it take so long before I finally got a chance to try it is definitely a question I asked myself today. It's okay; I patted my shoulder that I finally went to check it out today after many years of procrastination!!Kal (I mentioned earlier in this review) is hilarious! He, first of all, welcomed me as soon as I stepped in the restaurant like a peppy/talkative macaw! Once I knew what I wanted, I walked up to the register and told him my choice of plate. Unfortunately, the restaurant was about to close so he told me they had run out of the tabbouleh that was part of the plate. Too bad! I decided to go with one of the sandwiches (something easygoing) instead and a side of grape leaves dolma (4 pieces). While I was waiting for my food, Kal and I talked more. He asked me about my cultural background and this led us to talk about fresh seafood as I'm from Japan and he used to live in Boston. He definitely made me laugh; he entertained me like a stand up comedian! The food didn't take long. I waited for maybe 5 minutes at the tops. Kal said to order ahead (by calling in) next time and insisted me on taking the to-go menu as he truly wanted me to come back for the plate I couldn't get tonight. And the food?-Shawarma in a pita wrap (beef) was ridiculously delicious! The meat, lettuce and tomato were all impeccably marinated in the tzatziki sauce and is surprisingly so light despite the look of it. -Dolmas (4 pieces) - I've been to a similar restaurant where they serve dolmas and their dolmas were a bit too oily. This restaurant's dolmas are nothing like that. Perfect amount of oil makes their dolmas perfectly moist. This is now my go-to place for dolmas when I get a craving for it. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu!"
"This is the best spot for authentic Mediterranean food at a very reasonable price considering the amount of food you get. The gyro meat is incredibly good and flavorful. Also love their falafels and wouldn't go anywhere else. The kataifi is incredible and their baklava is great as well. Located in a small strip mall and not the most assuming place at all with a small amount of parking spots in front. The inside is a grocery store selling all sorts of really cool foods from all over the Mediterranean. The owner always behind the counter is very kind. Love this place and have already gone here twice! There is a small table inside so taking out is the best way to go."
"Best falafel I have had in the city so far. I loved the outdoor seating and walkability to other places."
"Definitely a warm cozy vibe. Plenty indoor seating and a couple of tables outside as well. Staff was really nice.Highly recommend the Beef shawarma sandwiches. Everyone else enjoyed what they ordered, Chicken tacos, , chicken shawarma, harira soup and gyro.I'd recommend the place, and would definitely visit again if I'm in the area."
"Good foodGood service Cozy ambiance I recommend it for family gatherings Good for lunch Lamb Chops"
"The high ratings made me expect more from this place but it honestly was a sad meal. The gyro sandwich was decent but the pita bread that was used for the sandwich was different from the pita bread that they gave you to dip the hummus in. We had to heat up the pita bread in the air fryer and it only helped a little bit. The hummus was bland and just didn't taste good. The fries were soft, bland, and oily.We ordered to go but I don't think dining in would've made a huge difference. There are better Mediterranean places so make the drive and get them instead."
"Love Byblos and never disappointed. The gyros are some of my favorite and don't sleep on the garlic dip as a side. Drool worthy! The baklava is also a great way to end the meal. Very easy to order online and the service is impeccable. Not only are the extremely fast, they are the absolute nicest!! Byblos, thank you for being such a great, tasty option in our neighborhood."
"The letters on the door say closed on Sunday, but there are two lit signs that will say Open!Great chicken shawarma, best falafels, and surprisingly enough for me - the gyro meat was amazing. I am not a fan of lamb, but this I will have any day!I think the location just changed names. I recommended going here for a great Mediterranean meal."
"Not really fancy digs. But that allows them to bring wholesome food at a reasonable price. We had the chicken kabob. Comes with a side salad a nicely seasoned rice. Our other dish was the gyro, also with sides. The gyro was a little too heavily salted representing the only flaw in our meal. Overall a pleasant experience."
"Good food and good service. The saag was good and the spicy level was a good level spicy but not too hot. Flavors were good and I liked all the spices. Rice was good as well. They messed up my friends order and she got a new one in no time and we still ate the wrong order which was delicious. The vegetable samosa was quite good as well. Nice and clean store. Right on the hill in a convenient location from campus. Highly recommend!"
"My husband and I were SUPER excited to try this place. There were a lot of great reviews of Crave in general in the Denver area (a couple locations) and we both love middle eastern food! There is a great outdoor seating area, but we chose to sit inside. We had Erdinch as our server. We were the only actual guests in the restaurant as there were a few tables of family and friends of the cooks and people that work there that sat at the front tables. The atmosphere in the way of the aesthetics was very nice- very relaxing, and clean....not overcluttered with decor. The bathrooms were very clean as well.We were very happy with everything we ordered. The food was very well-seasoned. It seems the restaurant is under new management, and they are trying very hard to make the guest experience excellent. We would like to come back here again when in the area."
"This food truck was amazing. Quick service, incredible Gyros and so convenient in downtown near the bars! Definitely want to come back!"
"First-time experience at Zaman, and I'll be glad to return.Hadn't eaten lunch and only had some coffee and a bit of yogurt for breakfast, so come 2 pm I was hunnngry. But the problem was my honey and I were meeting friends for an early dinner out and so I didn't want to ruin my appetite. Hence the question of what to do. Passed by Zaman and had seen some very good reviews of it and had the great thought: hey, maybe they sell appetizer sized portions of one of my favorite Middle Eastern dishes--baba ghanoush with a pita. I was thinking, maybe I could have a few bites of that and not spoil my appetite for dinner a little later. So that's what I did. I stopped on by and picked up a to-go order since they did have that on the menu and bingo...food problem solved.Didn't just like it. I loved it. Almost as good as Yayha's, my favorite Middle Eastern spot, so I will be happy to try out some of their other dishes. Liked the fast casual set-up and the nice people who ran the place. All-in-all an excellent experience.Sign me,David "Satisfied but not filled up"M."
"Very good take-out order of baba ganoush and lamb kebabs. Those who read every review I write (yeah, right:), will know that I'm on a quest for the best baba ganoush in Denver. So while my honey was partying this evening I picked up some to-go-ganoush at the Tuti Grill down on South Holly just past Evans. Had its high and low points. The baba ganoush was lemony and well finished with olive oiled. I'd give it a four out of five ganoush stars. The kebabs were well seasoned and tasty, but were made of ground and formed kebab pieces and not cubed fresh cut chunks of lamb. The pita tasted fine but store-bought (though I might be wrong about that). Fairly priced and a good amount of food I'll have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. All-in-all a very good but not spectacular experience and it left me still looking for the perfect baba gee.Sign me,David "baba gee gee" M"
