"En route to Denver, I ended up sitting next to a very nice guy with whom I conversed during our flight. When I told him that we were going to be staying in Littleton during our visit, he recommended Cherry Cricket for "the best burgers in town." Cousin Aly said that she heard the same about this restaurant, so we chose to go here for our last dinner in Colorado on Monday, June 24, 2024. I was super stoked because we were able to bring Disco (Alyssa's dog) with us.We arrived shortly after 9 PM sans reservations. After a short wait, with Disco in tow, we were led straight into the patio via an outdoor gate. We had our pick of tables as only two to three were already occupied. There was a big space for dogs and kids to play on the turf. Inside appeared to be about two spacious dining rooms. The venue was well kept and tidy. Even the women's restroom was very clean.Below are the items that we ordered:FRINGS ($8.50) - We started off with this SIDE of half FRIES and half ONION RINGS to share. These were so yummy that we ordered two more full size orders of each.FRIES ($9) - Through yelp photos, we were expecting wedge fries, but were pleasantly surprised to be served regular french fries. These were good. Perhaps the STEAK FRIES are the wedge version?ONION RINGS ($9) - Excellently fresh and crispy.MUSHROOM REUBEN ($13) - This was Alyssa's order which she enjoyed.TACOS, carnitas ($13.50) - Auntie Ligaya went with the recommendation of carnitas. When she ate her tacos, she wished that she had gone with the seasoned ground beef instead. Build Your Own Burgers, LITTLE CRICKET ($9 + $2 for pretzel bun + $1.50 for smoked cheddar) - Mom and I had to go this route for sure. I mean, this is what Cherry Cricket is popular for, their burgers. Mom made the mistake of skipping out on the pretzel bun, which she regretted after seeing mine, but she still fully enjoyed her hamburger. Mine was better, I'm sure. Our fabulous server was Nick. We appreciated his humour, personal input on dishes, and patience. He took very good care of us. We will definitely ask for him when we return! That's right, you heard me - we will come back when we visit the Denver area again. Cherry Cricket serves some great food at reasonable prices. You can't beat a joint like this to bring the whole family, Fido included!"
"Have been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed! Located in a rustic neighborhood bar (Lake Ave), the food is a hidden gem!!! Everything I have ever had has been fantastic! The tacos are hot and fresh and packed with delicious ingredients! The veggie taco is surprisingly good!! A nice variety of seasoned vegetables that are stuffed in a homemade tortilla! Their green chili is homemade and extremely flavorful. Nice kick to it! The owners are always very attentive and quick to help. I would definitely recommend trying it, and grab a drink from the bar as well"

The upfront is a little confusing, as it appears to be counter service, which is where we ordered and took a seat, only to then understand it's also table service if you're eating in. Oh well. It all worked out. Not realizing we were getting lunch specials that came with fries., we ordered a few different appetizers to split. The falafel, veggie paneer, and garlic naan were all delicious, as were the hummus, tzatziki and other sauces that came with them. We also enjoyed our lamb tikka masala burger and vegetarian tikka masala burger. The regular and sweet potato fries were fine but nothing special. However, the lunch deal of burger, fries, and drink for a set price was a nice surprise. Everything was good, and we wouldn't hesitate to come here again."
"My boyfriend was craving a burger and we were in the area so we decided to give this spot a go. I got the mini park burger and substituted raw onions for shoestring (pro hack they don't charge extra this way). The truffle parm fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. My milkshake was delicious they make the strawberry sauce in house and the whipped cream was so fluffy. I'm not a big burger fan by any means (I actually tend to avoid burgers) but THIS burger has me questioning everything. Delicious bun, juicy patty and perfectly crisp onions. The inside of this place is super cute and come spring the patio area looks lovely. Bravo."
"Great food with mediocre service but don't let that stop you from ordering a little bit of everything off the menu.My wife and I ordered 6 signature wings, half teriyaki soy, half hot & spicy, corn cheese, cheesy pork katsu, and kimchi fried rice. Kimchi fried rice came out first. It was phenomenal. It set my expectations high for the remaining items. And everything we ordered met or exceeded those already high expectations. I would gladly order the exact same items again. Gun to my head, if I had to pick only one favorite... I'd be shot in the head because I can't decide. It was all so good. The service wasn't the best I've experienced. Took longer than normal to get a seat. The pacing of the food was all over the place. But our server was kind and polite. The ambiance was casual. The inside was dimly lit. We opted to sit outside since it was bright and sunny the day we were there."
"Casual lunch in a welcoming restaurant with plenty of room and not much noise. Service was friendly and the food hot and tasty. The cauliflower nuggets were crispy and gluten free. A special treat for me. The sweet potato fries were crispy outside and soft inside. The best I've ever had!We hope to come back again on our next trip to Denver!"
"Their former location on Wadsworth was okay so I was not eager to go here, however, a group of friends convinced me to give it a try. The dining room and bar areas are large and very noisy. Our party of 7 was seated in a curved booth which had adequate room for us and our food. Our masked waitress was very friendly and engaging as well as patient with our group of seniors. I ordered the Florentine skillet with an order of 2 pancakes. The dish came with potatoes and avocado slices and I believe hollandaise sauce. It was outstanding and there was so much food, I took half home. All in all I was impressed and will return sometime soon."
"Best falafel I have had in the city so far. I loved the outdoor seating and walkability to other places."
"Guess who's new in the neighborhood? Joe Willy's! We work right across the street so have been dying for this spot to open and we certainly aren't disappointed! The smash burger is a smash, the fries are incredible and they even give you some really yummy cinnamon bread while you wait. The owner and his staff are incredible as well. We are quickly becoming regulars and we aren't mad about it."

This place has had a few growing pains but they mean well. Every time we've visited we've enjoyed our meal and there's something about the vibe of this place that keeps calling us back. Whenever we're looking for a fun place to eat or drink, this is one of the first places that comes to mind. The staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming and I always leave with a better feeling than when I arrived. I'd recommend a particular meal, but none stand out above the rest. They've all been good and made even better by the friendly staff.

I was tired of cooking and looking to grab something to-go for dinner when this place popped up on Yelp. I knew exactly where it was at since it's right down the street from me; decided to give it a try. They have a bunch of photos of their food on their website and a lot of great reviews on DoorDash as well.Essentially, it's a kitchen inside of the Lake Avenue Inn. If you want to grab something to go as I did, the kitchen is straight ahead and to the right when you walk inside. They have a really good variety of stuff on their menu. I normally eat tons of spicy food and thought about getting a burrito, but I just wanted a good burger. They delivered! Really good sized burger, with legit bacon, and a huge side of seasoned fries that were perfectly crispy. It was very filling and I could have easily made two meals from it.I am sure I looked out of place since I was the only one there grabbing something to go and trying to figure it out. I talked to the owner(s) a bit when my food was ready, and the woman told me they had been there for about a year and just happened to add themselves to Yelp earlier today.Looking forward to grabbing some more food there again soon, especially some tacos or a burrito! The bar would be a good place to grab a beer while you wait, though they made my food pretty quickly.

I thought this place is pretty good. It has a unique concept combining American and Indian food. I tried the Marsala Burger and I'd give it a 7.5 out of ten.I liked the fries with the dipping sauce. I think the place is interesting and if you're looking for something different; or looking for someplace open late- this may be your spot to try.For me, I doubt I'll be back. Keep in mind the place is good, service was great. There's plenty of seating, as it's a long shaped restaurant.Ultimately I like other burger places better and other Indian places better. The place is good but my mind wasn't blown. If you want to try something different, try everyone else seems to love this place- it just wasn't my cup of tea.Happy eating!

5 stars. The hosts seemed possibly new. It was a little chaotic inside. Busy and lively. A few messes around the inside dining room. And the tables are closer than I would prefer to other patrons. Our server was excellent. And the burgers were better. My wife loved the fries more than I did. I thought the fries were good. We both agreed that the burgers were ridiculously delicious. We would love to come back for more in the future. You may not get a parking space nearby. This establishment looked to also have stellar desserts, which we did not try on this visit. We would love to come back for more in the future.

I haven't had much in the way of Korean food, but this place rocks. Loved the wings- we got the mild teriyaki and the spicy secret, and hands down the spicy secret was stellar. I thought I would be too much of a wuss for it, but if I could go back I would order all of them that flavor. The kimchi fries were stellar as well- they had kimchi, jalapeño, queso fresco, bulgogi sauce and beef on them, and they were so flavorful. The portion was huge too- it would have been a good appetizer for 4-6 people, rather than to split between the two of us. I wish they offered a half portion. The only thing we weren't a fan of were their cocktails- the flavor was good but they tasted weak. We tried the Seoul Sunset and the Forbidden Fruit, and the Forbidden fruit was definitely better. Get a beer or wine instead. They do have happy hour on Friday and Saturday. Service was friendly and quick, if not super talkative. The ambiance was fun, upscale city with neon colors and brick. Highly highly recommend if you're looking for good food at a mid level price.

We sat outside on this beautiful evening me ryan and our friend Jeremy! Our server Terrance was a delight and was very attentive with some questions we had and making a drink with a few changes and a few food allergy questions. The food was great I especially enjoyed my smash burger. I have enjoyed the other tap and burger location and this one was just as awesome. Again Special shout out to Terrance for being so great!

Great vibes and atmosphere here, loved the kindness from the waitress as well & it's always a great time when stopping by. Love this place and recommend it to anyone in the area or just visiting! Beware lots of people here on the weekend so come early if you visit during then, but great service and food comes out fast regardless of how many people are in here.
Visit Restaurant Page"When something has been around for multiple lifetimes, they must be doing something right. That's also a piece of history I want to be a part of. Arriving on a hot summer day this was the perfect place to stop for cold refreshing inexpensive draft beer. Food prices were reasonable especially the classic burger which they are known for. The food was prepared quickly and was delivered with a giant condiment caddy with all the burger fixings that included onions, pickles, peppers, relish and more. Such a clever idea so you can prepare your burger to your liking. I'm glad I stopped in to this 150 years old institution. Wish I would have inquired more about its history. Next time!Enjoy!!"
"I have this problem that I'm immediately a fanboy of any business that's...well...been in business for a long time. Grandpa's Burger Haven has been a Denver mainstay since the 1960's. It's an old school burger joint doing it their way or the highway. And who doesn't admire that? Now there are a few rules when you come here. The words "modern" or "contemporary" or "21st century" are nowhere to be found. The burgers are gigantic, roughly the size of a large donut like an apple fritter. They have regular hamburgers or steakburgers, and they're available in different sizes. From the outside looking in, you'll notice this is a burger stand not a sit down restaurant. There is ZERO seating. These burgers are meant to be enjoyed in your car like the drive thrus of yesteryear. You can try to wait until you're home to dive in, but the greasy smell of that brown bag will force you to dive in.I burnt my mouth devouring those onion rings. Man, these were delicious! Crunchy, well seasoned and piping hot. I love a good onion ring and these were damn tasty.I couldn't believe the size of the large cheeseburger. The burger and bun are the size of your face. All burgers come with mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. You might like your burgers differently, but I, in fact, love the simplicity of these old school burger flavors. Definitely on #TeamMustard in this house. It's a behemoth to eat. It won't blow your mind, but to me it was properly cooked and dressed. I liked it!For those who love those big, big buns, Grandpa's Burger Haven has you covered. Love it or hate it, they've been in business longer than half of the population has been alive. And to me, you have to respect places that have stood the test of time."
"Edgewater Public Market is a pretty cool place; as one of my friends put it, a "hipster food court." Slideshow is located inside of Edgewater Public Market, in the far right corner. You can either place your order online or, online lol. When you walk over to their booth there is a touchscreen to place your order. There were staff in the kitchen but none were stationed behind the counter to assist or answer questions. You enter your phone number at the end of the order and receive a text when your order is ready. The "Pick any 2 sliders" deal is not actually a deal when you do the math; $10.75 vs. the $10.50 ordering a la carte. You do save when you do the "Pick any 3 sliders" deal; $13.75 vs $15.75. I decided to order the Fig and Goat Cheese and Popper sliders and regular fries. The regular fries are heavily overpriced at $6.75; they cost more than the sliders! They were standard fries as well; nothing special about them. Fig and Goat Cheese: The fig and onion jam was savory and slightly sweet. The goat cheese added a nice, salty contrast for a tasty slider overall.Popper: You can't go wrong when you put cream cheese on anything and that applies to burgers/sliders as well. With several different flavor combinations, the sliders are a solid choice. Skip the fries/order fries elsewhere, though."
"Hole in the wall? I guess but definitely with a class and some history behind it. Is it a dive bar? I guess it could be but at the time of visit during mid Saturday, it was very quite and the bartender was also working as server. Being a pub, lots of pub menus and cold draft beer and so much more. Price was right, drink was cold and fries were hot. What more can you ask for?"
"I read a lot of reviews that were less than positive. Frankly, I don't get it. I had superior service while I was here. The beers were cold and they had a solid tap list. My food, the Forsburger was pretty freaking tasty. Yeah, it came in at medium well when I had asked for medium rare, but it still was delicious. The onion rings as my side were quite tasty. Yes, I used to really enjoy the 3 Lions that was here, and I still miss it. But, this is a worthy successor to the space. There are a lot of sports bars around, but this one is doing a very nice job of it."
"A cute, classic diner atmosphere and good food. The Roll Outta Bed pecan cinnamon roll is fantastic!"
"Park Burger has become somewhat of an institution in Denver and I can see why. There locations are great. Designs are nice. Menus are varied with something for everyone. Good service and wallet friendly prices.I went out with two friends and we all ordered the veggie burger ( it is not that synthetic crap from beyond or impossible ) which is a great handmade patty made from grains. It is a delicious alternative to beef, turkey, chicken etc.Their milkshakes are delicious and made with good stuff.Fries and tater tots are good but the seasoning was so so. I would go with plain old fried taters.Nice parking lot in the back.Complete bar with a good selection of beers on tap.Great service...thank you Bailey you were great.Highly recommended."
"Always a great place to hang out before heading directly into downtown. There is always room at Slater's but diners can still make reservations. Thanks to the staff for accommodating our requests to watch multiple NFL games (gotta check Fantasy Football natch!) I am a big fan of their burgers, especially the 50/50. It's cooked with a slight pink, and is uber juicy and tasty. No where else compares! Leave room for one of their fantastic milkshakes. Then plan to run a marathon to work it off."
"There is no way that this is not a 5 star food joint in the triple D category. I got a burger and wings from here and they just knocked it out of the park. The burger was easily a half pound and was certainly one of the best burgers I've ever had from food joint. The wings were good. Great BBQ on them. I was slightly concerned they were a little undercooked, but it turned out just fine! The place is just not what you would expect. There's 0 seating. The building is barely larger than a food truck and it seems like it's a meh area of town. The cashier, whom I'm assuming might own or co-own was very delightful. We ended up waiting about an hour for all of us to get our food due to our group size, but he sent a bunch of extra wings. Overall I could have eaten a burger from here every day and been happier than a clam while we stayed there. Highly recommend it."
"Happy hour begins at 3 pmGood deals on whiskey drinks and appetizers, but the Indoor Patio is Dog friendly.Excellent service from Amanda Bartemder. Personable, efficient, just what I expected!Beautiful store with upstairs balcony seating, but the rest of the joint is just great"
"Those sweet potato fries, though! If you're looking for low carb, whole grain vegan food, look no further. We had the Twister Wrap and the Orange Cauliflower Bowl yesterday -- absolute yumminess. The Twister Wrap is a low-carb option for those of you who care, but it's the most flavorful crispy "chicken" wrap I've had in a while. You get all the textures, which makes this handheld food perfect. (You get the option of grilled or buffalo style as well.) I highly recommend the chipotle sauce option! The wrap comes with a side, and of course I chose sweet potato fries (see my note below). The Orange Cauliflower Bowl looks like real orange chicken and the mix of corn, brown rice, scramble was just the perfect mix. The knowledgeable ladies who took our orders were super accommodating and just very cool about our requests. Our food was executed perfectly. Portion-wise, were both noticing that it was just the right amount.Bonus, which gave this place a 5 stars right away was their decaf and no-sugar iced tea option: hibiscus tea. Hoping their dessert parfaits options will come sugar free some day, or at least low sugar, because I want to destroy those in the best way possible. Also, hat tip to our Uber driver who recommended the sweet potato fries (LOL). They were crispy on the outside and soft in the center. That salt, pepper, herb and cinnamon (?) sprinkle over the fries was just... wow. I'm going to try to recreate it at home because I can't stop thinking about it.Came here for dinner yesterday on a windy evening in Denver! Got specific here as I heard they're planning to expand elsewhere, so I hope they come to L.A.!"
"So glad I found this place and so close to my new place...came in here last night to get out of heat and this place keeps it nice and cool. This place would be great to watch any sporting event. They have TV's everywhere and from any seat is a good seat. Once seated my super friendly waitress Maddie was awesome. She was Johnny on the spot with everything made this a great experience. Their menu is upscale bar food with tons of great choices. For dinner I had the triple threat chicken sandwich which consisted of bringing the heat 3 ways with chipotle mayo, pepper Jack cheese and Cajun fried chicken breast. Topped with frizzled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato and bacon. Served on a kaiser bun. Served with crispy perfectly seasoned fries. This was a great sandwich and wasn't that spicy at all. I would've actually preferred a little burn but either way was super delicious! I washed this down with their house margarita which had good flavor but a I would've liked it a little more stronger. Either way I will be back and I would suggest this place."
"I've had this place bookmarked since it opened. Finally made it in for lunch the other day. It's in an open brew pub environment. We didn't want an afternoon food coma, so Mr H. and I split a Double CBurger Cheeseburger, with added bacon, and Green Chili & Cheese Fries, with added raw onion. Anthony was very informative about their beef from regenerative ranches. There is a kiosk for ordering, and they text you for pick up, so service is limited. Since the Pattie's are cooked smash burger style, we probably could have been fine with our own burgers. I wish places like this had smaller buns for their singles so the proportion would be better. But it was absolutely delicious, as were the fries. Mr H. is already asking when we're going to have their burgers again. Since we now live dangerously close, it will be very soon!"
"Delicious, flavorful, bright, crisp, clean! This inauspicious little spot is hopping with business, both take-out and dine-in. Fortunately, they're also fast! Lots of parking, but busy. And courteous; all were welcoming, solicitous. This will continue to succeed. Recommend!"
"It's cute and the food is decent. I think the wine list is the best part and the charc board. The service was good. But not much of a food selection, it's more of a small bites menu and some wine type of place."
"That algorithm got me nice and good throwing nothing but birria tacos in my face and I just HAD to get in on it! Not the easiest task finding some in town, so we drove all the way to Lakewood to find Pancho's Birrias y Mas.No line when we went for a late lunch on a weekday and the food came out quickly. Believe the hype because birria is where it's at! Amazing, juicy beef and that consomme! I really don't know how I'm gonna eat tacos any other way from now on - I mean to dip or not to dip...in that flavorful, delicious consomme... how do you just NOT..??I had to knock a star off of this review because that taco dip price just seemed kinda steep to me - one taco with one big cup of consomme came to $4.75. I've admittedly gone to a couple other birria spots since visiting Pancho's and the price was a little better at both. With that said though, these tacos are just on a whole 'nother level and I would definitely come back if the birria craving ever hit while I'm in the area."
