"From Chicago, first time in Golden. Old Capitol Grill has a nice menu, so we decided to try it. Here are my thoughts:-I ordered the beef brisket 4/5 and it was reaaally good--tender, tasty, just the right amount of fat.-I enjoyed the barbecue sauce, not as sweet as I like it, but very good.-French fries were good, not great.-The blue cornbread was good, more moist than expected.-Highlight of the meal was the fried pickles, a very light batter--best I've ever had!-Service was friendly and good.Overall, highly recommended!"
"Like chipotle but way better!! I got the bowl with the carnitas smothered in the Colorado style mix of queso and green chile pork. It was super tasty and very filling, with rice, beans, pico, salsa, and sour cream. Shout out to the cashier Elliot who was so incredibly friendly and kind. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is nice but the misters were a little too intense imo. Would definitely recommend and return!"

"Note this place is located in a not so nice area and their parking lot is in the back of the restaurant. The parking lot on the side is for Federal Restaurant and they apparently do try to tow if you're not a customer. The interior has an odd layout but is nicely decorated and clean. It is a family owned restaurant. The owners are very nice and their kids are cute.I got a medium spicy chicken pad thai. It had a really nice kick to it, I was sniffing a lot. But it was VERY flavorful. I loved it! Portion was just right. My friend got the drunken noodles and said it was super tasty but the portion was small for him. The pad thai was definitely more flavorful. I would definitely come again - the food was delicious!"
"This is a super cute themed spot I stumbled across on IG. Fast forward to a work trip leading me to Denver and we decided to try them out for dinner. I love the colorful decor that is visible both indoors and out. The night air was a little chilly so we opted to sit inside versus outside as previously planned. The menu is pretty straightforward and has a lot of great options. Our server was super sweet and attentive to our needs. The food was prepared without issue. The spot is pretty lively with customers. I enjoyed the Halloween themed beverages and opted to try out the Alice In Wonderyard shooter as well as the Eye Want Candy lemon drop hello shot. My spinach dip was amazing and I really loved the in- house made bread. I would definitely visit again."
"My wife and I attended a great concert there last night. "Mia X Alley" and we loved it. The concert was fabulous and the venue was first rate. Aside from being in the heart of Lodo, a place I despise and avoid whenever possible, it all worked out well. Parking was easy enough with a dozen paid parking garages and lots within easy walking distance. The venue itself is easy to find, clean and set up quite well. The door staff were nice and bartenders were friendly and easy to deal with. The drinks were reasonably priced and not watered down. This is a great place to watch a concert from several different levels. We would not hesitate to watch another concert here."
"Best restaurant in Northfield without a doubt! Even their rice and beans are to die for. My fav dish is their rope vieja but their steak is phenomenal too. Their sweet plantains, yuca fritas and tostones are also perfect. All very reasonably priced too and the decor makes you feel like you're on vacation in Cuba"
"3.5 stars. Super cute interior! Came here with some friends before watching Nicole Byer at Comedy Works. Front Porch is giving me high school, early college vibes with it's older music and Red Bull drinks. I sat at the bar and had a Spicy Margarita, which was tasty. Friendly staff and convenient spot to spend time. Wouldn't consider this a "chill bar" but definitely a good first stop before a night out on the town!"
"Great dinner and service at Panzano on Wednesday night. I had a reservation for a large group, and the restaurant was great communicating with me as I ended up changing our quantity multiple times. We showed up a few minutes early for our 7:15 reservation, after I called a few hours earlier to bump it out from 6:15. Our waiter was great, and cocktails and appetizers (calamari and brussel sprouts) came out a short time later. They were both quite good.I went with the Pesce Fresco, especially after learning the white fish was halibut. It was wonderful...possibly the best piece of fish I've had since moving to Colorado. Asparagus was undercooked but wasn't horrible. Others in my group had the scallops, filet, and a few of the pasta dishes. All raved about their meals. Desserts were quite good as well. I had the chocolate mousse with almond bark concoction, while others had the tiramisu, sorbet, and a few other dishes. Everything was great."
"Still a great place for tacos and carnitas. It's great to see the original owner is still cooking and running around! I was hoping to get my usual buche tacos, but we were informed that they no longer serve buche as the new population of the very much gentrified neighborhood isn't interested in the popular and traditional Mexican food. I'm hoping my review speaks to the new tenants of the neighborhood in hopes that other things such as menudo doesn't also fall off of the menu. Instead of contributing to the fall of a historically Latinx/Xicano neighborhood, I ask that you please support, uplift, and uphold the traditions (in this case, food) of the area."
"Fish and Chips was 5 stars 100%~ especially for Denver. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. It's a large portion, definitely worth ordering. The prime rib sandwich was also delicious, but smaller in size compared to the fish and chips. The soda comes in very large mason jars. The food probably took about 30 minutes to come out, service was friendly.Overall, I was very satisfied here & would definitely come back besides the wait.Very recommended!"
"Aurora has a new kid on the block and their name is Parkside Eatery. Wishing this newer business all the success in the world. They've got some great local food stalls and a lot on the horizon!Current vendors as of their opening are Taco Choi, Lucky Bird, Gina's Kitchen and Parkside Bar. The space is open, relaxing and approachable. There are a lot of TV's and by the sound of it they plan to make it a gameday destination. They have table games and picnic tables, making a reliable option for families.TACO CHOI // I've been a fan of these peeps since their food truck days back in 2019. Now they have their own brick and mortar shop! They have a wonderful IG-friendly backdrop, too. Same great food, I seriously love their tacos. They crisp the cheese on the bottom of the tortilla and their Korean combinations are SO fire. You'll eat three of these and immediately want three more. I promise you!LUCKY BIRD // I'm also pretty familiar with these cats since they have a stall at Edgewater Public Market. Their tenders are legit, and same goes for their sweet potato fries and double decker-sized sammies. The loaded sweet potato fries are pretty remarkable if you're looking to load up on carbs.GINA'S KITCHEN // I was unfamiliar with Gina's before visiting. She's had her own catering company in Colorado for over 7 years. They are 100% GLUTEN FREE. Yep, 100%. And the best part is you wouldn't even know it by tasting their goodies. I only stuck with their sweets on my first visit, but they also make their own bread and have lots of yummy-sounding savory items.PARKSIDE BAR // A laid back and affordable bar. We're used to paying $16 for a cocktail in Denver, and here the cocktails tap out at $11. Score! Plus they carry great local Colorado beers. Happy hour is currently M-F from 3-6pm. And they're offering $1 off drafts during game day.Lots of awesome things happening here with room to grow. They plan to add two more vendors over the coming months. Definitely check them out, all the spots are locally owned and operated and community driven!"

I wish I could give it 5 stars. This place has a history that dates back to the late 1800s. The atmosphere is a cool mixture of historic and modern feel. We stopped here for a quick dinner on our way to listen to some live music. Our server was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we asked for. My wife got the pulled pork tacos and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Why go to a smokehouse restaurant if you're not going to order their smoked meats.. Right? Our drinks and order came very quickly and the food was delicious. My sandwich looked so good the guy at the table next to our ordered one for his meal. The one complaint I have, and I admit I'm a pulled pork snob, is that I like to be able to eat all of the sandwich I'm served. Whether it's a steak, or beef or pulled pork, I simply don't like chunks of fat or other inedible things mixed in with it. Ninety-eight percent of my sandwich was deliciously smoked, tender, pork. I ate it as an open-faced sandwich because the roll it came in was more than I wanted. In the mixture of delicious pulled pork were two large pieces I couldn't eat. One was a shaving of fat, the other a piece of cartilage. If these two pieces weren't in my sandwich this would be a 5 star review and the meal would have been perfect. Maybe it's just me.

What a great filling meal, im a big eater and i took home 1/4 of my burrito and enough to make a great omlet the next morning. We also tried the rolled tacos that were very good but pretty thin in meat. Inside plenty of seatting and tv to see sports

Came here for dinner and had a delightful meal! The menu had several great options but after talking with my server I decided to get the pumpkin curry since I was told it was their specialty. The pumpkin curry was AMAZING! Although I did ask for Thai spicy and my food was maybe level 3 hot, the pumpkin gave a great flavor and texture to the curry. I also ordered their ginger tea and it was a great compliment. The place is small but cozy and has a nicely stocked bar. Would highly recommend!

This place is so cute! I've had many pre games and celebrations here. Def reserve ahead of time because that will guarantee the best seats! They have a fireplace area and teacups and fairy lights seating area. The service can get really busy but the workers are very attentive. The drinks are yummy and the food does the job in filling you up w fuel for a night out!

This is favorite club in Denver. I was told by many friends that I must check this club out.So, I was in town for Slick Rick and a band that does cover music for Grateful Dead. The building has a cool back story and it's very well decorated. I love the back wall of old radios and Walkmans! I saw a yellow Walkman that I once owned. The owner, Matt is pretty dope, and does a real good job in running the club. The restaurant has delicious bites, the Waygu burger is my favorite, and their Flatbread pizza.I wish i was in town to see Judith Hill and Mahalia. If only Denver was just a hop skip n jump for me, I would be here in a heartbeat. I will come back for their brunch. If your looking for a nice club, check this one our. Check out their page for upcoming events, :D

I am being really kind in the rating. I am reading everyone else, and they seem to love it. Overall they have 4.4 which really surprises me. I got the pan con pollo, asked if it was good, asked her if she liked it. She said Yes. I then also got the plantains with mojo just to see how they were. The sandwich was super boring. Being Cuban, I thought there would be some sort of sauce, but nope. Just the chicken, lettuce, grilled onions, etc. Zero sauce. And Zero flavor. The plantains would have been flat out "Nope" if I hadn't gotten the mojo, but honestly that also was a bit over the top with the garlic. And, yes, I love garlic and I don't think I have ever said anything was too garlicky. Maybe because that was literally all I tasted. Anyway, I still gave them 4 stars because there are too many good reviews and I am guessing that maybe it's me. The people were nice, I'll give them that. And it has a nice open air ambience. Just, the food was boring as heck.

The Front Porch is a clean and aesthetic bar that has a bunch of cool events. This includes flip night which is on every Wednesday where the patron can choose heads or tails when they order a drink. If they are correct, the drink is free. Incorrect, and they pay for the drink. What is there to lose?! The Front Porch also picks 3-5 names every night besides Wednesday and if your name is on that date, you drink for free all night (please remember to tip appropriately)! Check the calendar on their website to find your name. Make sure to write your name down on the chalkboard in the bar to get on the next calendar. Cheers!

"A large selection of tequilas and mescal awaited me. Superb margaritas, made the way I asked for it. Tacos are good. Fish Taco, was delicious, as was the carne asada -- I don't think you can go wrong with any of the tacos. All are very solid traditional well made tacos at a reasonable price. Quick service. Cool bartender. Well done."
"Coming on a Wednesday night for date night and we didn't need a reservation. Being from Southern California this is very decent California Mexican food (not traditional Mexican food). Love the theme of the restaurant - very beachy and reminds me of home!! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, we were seating almost immediately. Our server was on top of it! Bringing out our drinks and food very quickly! It all tasted quick good and had delicious flavor. I did take off one star because of the the strange fees along with the lack of chips and salsa. That is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant.Overall I would come back! 4/5 stars"
"Ordered:-Cajun Popcorn-Blackened Shrimp Po'boy-Gumbo-Hurricane Mimosa-Cherry MulePro:-Cajun Popcorn was tender, fried very well so that the crawfish was crunchy and juicy!! Dipping sauce was -Star of the show was the blackened shrimp!! It had a kick that had so many flavors and a good level of spice-They don't skimp on the liquor in your drink!! -We were pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant half full at 3pm on a Saturday which was already a really good sign that wr came to the right place!!-Staff is very welcoming and friendly and explained the menu very well-Clean inside and not too loud (at 3pm)-They have a pool table!!!Con:-I personally wish happy hour started earlier (starts at 4pm) We WILL be back!!!"
"This was a great place to watch the Bronco's game - or any game as they had many playing here. There's a lot of space and it's a fun atmosphere. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was yummy. The chicken on it was excellent and good quality and I definitely recommend it. I definitely plan on coming back here for the many events and specials they have throughout the week! Will add to this review when we go and try more items and events here!"
"Solid spot with a nice ambiance and a good lunch buffet. While the options for the lunch buffet was a bit more limited than other lunch buffet, it's still worthwhile. My favorite thing was their tandoori chicken and I added their mango chutney to it. The creamed spinach was also really good. The service was good, ultimately you help yourself and they will bring you whatever drinks you want and naan bread.I've had other places I like better but still overall if you're craving a good Indian place and you're in the area, this place should do the trick.I would come back, happy eating!!"
"This was my husband and I's first time and it definitely blew our minds! As we entered the restaurant, it looks a little small but there is more seating. I really appreciate the cooks visible and a bar seating area. We went on a Saturday night around 6pm and luckily we were able to be seated right away! Food --Chilled Tofu 5/5 -- my favorite dish!! Everything paired so well together and it was spectacular. It is really flavorful and the juice can be overpowering but I rec eating it with rice!! Hong You Chao Shou 5/5 -- really tasty and flavorful. The chili oil is a little spicy and would rec putting it on the side. Mushroom Fried Rice 4/5 -- the rice was really great and the mushroom was super flavorful! The only thing I felt about this dish was that it was a little salty. Braised Pork Shank 5/5 -- the flavor was amazing! When you make a sandwich, it pair nicely was the fermented veggies! It complimented each other. Overall, I was definitely amazed by the food! The service was great when it came to filling our cup but our waitress didn't really come by often. Def great!"
"When something has been around for multiple lifetimes, they must be doing something right. That's also a piece of history I want to be a part of. Arriving on a hot summer day this was the perfect place to stop for cold refreshing inexpensive draft beer. Food prices were reasonable especially the classic burger which they are known for. The food was prepared quickly and was delivered with a giant condiment caddy with all the burger fixings that included onions, pickles, peppers, relish and more. Such a clever idea so you can prepare your burger to your liking. I'm glad I stopped in to this 150 years old institution. Wish I would have inquired more about its history. Next time!Enjoy!!"
"This is my 2nd time eating here and they never and I mean never disappoint. The pizza is always so freaking delicious and the staff is always so friendly. I got two pizzas and a drink for under 15 bucks o believe. The pizzas I got was an everything pizza and the other one I honestly can't remember it has white sauce with chicken and I think bacon and that by far was my favorite. Next time I will get two slices."
"I visited Lo Stella with a friend on a Tuesday evening. Which to our delight, it turns out they have happy hour from 4-6pm and offer half priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays! The manager, Luca, was our server. He was great! He was very knowledgeable and patient as I grilled him on the menu and he also helped us narrow our selection to 3 pastas and dessert! He even asked the kitchen to make us the gnocchi special when it wasn't on the menu that evening! We enjoyed the pesto pasta, the Cacio Pepe, and the gnocchi for our entrees, everything was delightful!! I can't wait to come back again and try more off of their menu!"
"You can find this omakase experience in the Denver highlands...Sushi Ronin is a Japanese eatery & bar featuring artistic presentations of fresh fish in modern Asian style surroundings. We enjoyed omakase here for dinner & absolutely loved it.We arrived at Sushi Ronin and were seated at the sushi bar. Marin, Ethan, & Larry were the masters behind the sushi and it was awesome to see these sushi chefs at work. All three of them were so fun and attentive during our dinner service. Manager, Ida ensured our meal ran smoothly and checked in periodically. For cocktails I started with the seasonal, Pineapple Express made with vodka, gin, basil, simply syrup, & yuzhu. The Pineapple Express was vibrant green in color and refreshing in taste. For dinner we did the 'Ronin Omakase' which was the culinary experience left up to the chef. The omakase is always changing and is a dine-in only option. I highly recommend trusting the chef and partaking in omakase. Our omakase experience began with a palate cleanser - the Mandarin Elixir. The Chutoro Crudo was made with mid belly bluefin tuna, pomegranate zu, dragonfruit, golden beets, lemon zest, maldon salt, and micro chives. The dish itself was a gorgeous kaleidoscope of colors. The mid belly bluefin tuna offered a luxurious texture without being overly fatty. The smooth, buttery taste of the tuna went well with the sweet pop of the pomegranate and the mild earthiness of the golden beets. The Mukozuke was the Chef's choice sashimi accompanied by wasabi yuzhu, chive oil, chili crisp, rice puffs, chili threads, & pea shoots. The presentation of the Mukozuke was stunning. The sashimi was so fresh; I loved the texture variation of the smooth fish against the delicate crunch of the rice puffs.I enjoyed chilled sake with the rest of dinner. The Bluefin Tuna Flight included sashimi pieces from fatty to lean. The otoro tuna sashimi featured intense fat marbling which resulted in rich flavoring (far left). The leanest tuna was very low in fat and had a striking red color (far right). The Salmon Nigiri Flight included fresh Scottish salmon, New Zealand salmon, Tasmanian salmon, and seared Scottish salmon. The nigiri flight was exceptional. The New Zealand salmon was balanced and herbal. The Tasmanian was light & clean. The seared Scottish salmon was my favorite - it melted in my mouth with a gorgeous richness. The Canadian Crab sushi pieces were topped with black caviar & garlic butter. The lump crab was sweet with tender chew and the crown of black caviar really took this sushi piece to the next level. The Itovori, Threadfin Bream and Hiramasa, Greater Amberjack were served on ice.The Scallop nigiri was complemented by olive oil. The scallop was excellent - sweet & mild in flavor. The Godzilla roll was made with tempura shrimp, avocado, seared NY strip, and black garlic butter. Larry fired up this roll and we could see why it's one of Sushi Ronin's most popular. The Matcha Trifle was a Japanese take on Tiramisu - lovely in looks & taste."
"Absolutely love love love this new restaurant opening in Uptown! It's a fantastic addition to the movement of upscale, refined Mexican cuisine focusing on traditional ingredients that seems to be spreading in Denver. The space is fun, modern and trendy, the service is friendly and memorable (same as at Lucina -- the staff's first location), and the drinks and food are fantastic. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. My recommendation is to start with the selection of salsas and some cocktails, try the ceviche (which has a perfect spicy kick), get a couple of small dishes (definitely the lengua and something with a mole), and finish with the pork or lamb main(s). It's all amazing!"
"I was curious about the name and then about the building so I stopped to pay a visit. Plus it was time for lunch. Ahh, burritos are on the menu. Tried the grilled steak and added guacamole to make it extra better. The burrito was excellent so I returned a couple of days later to try the beer battered fish burrito. Another home run. Burritos, tacos, salads, bowls and more - they got you covered. I see why this is a fan favorite."
"My buddy, his girlfriend, and I walked here to have some beers and drinksDefinitely not a bad place but definitely in an akward area. You can sit inside or outside in their patio area. Their bar is right in the middle.Their old fashioned wasn't too bad didn't expect multi cubes of ice.Definitely a great hang out spot for watching games. Plenty of screens everywhere and service was great, they kept our drinks coming."
"So good! Loved this place. The tacos were so great. The service was amazing. Loved that the server was so friendly and had fun with her talking about the tacos. The burnt end tacos were one of the best tacos i have ever eaten. Crazy good!"
"Viale's is your neighborhood (South Colo. Blvd) pizza/pasta shop that's got a bit more style and a bit more class than your average Italian restaurant. Good prices and above-average meal quality mark it as a go-to regular stopover when you're craving some semolina this-and-that. Very good pizza (ask for the crust to be "crispy") and large servings (check out the size of the tiramisou!) tell you that you're not going away hungry. (I also really like their newest host-person...so kind and helpful).Ciao bella,David(e) M"
"After multiple visits, a few for brunch, and another few for dinner) over the last few years, I can up this to 5 stars - the food is consistently delicious and well prepared. The service is pretty consistently good - though it sometimes feels a little slow, it's fast enough to let you meet the 2-hour street parking time limit, even with appetizers and dessert. And having their own parking lot, however small, is a plus for any popular Colorado neighborhood. Most recently, my husband got the braised short rib, which was as tender and delicious as it was when I got it about 1.5yrs ago. Our friends got the arctic char (she loved it and I was ALMOST jealous) and the prime rib (he loved this as well and it had that typical smoked crust encasing it so it did not look like your typical prime rib). I was having difficulty deciding between a few dishes and our server (in so sorry I don't recall his name) immediately recommended the dirty risotto, which was FABULOUS and immediately took me to NOLA on the first bite. We started with the calamari, which frankly I thought was average, and the gouda butternut squash dip, which I thought was lovely. And finished with "chocolate pudding," which was only a mistake in that I should have stopped eating with about 3 bites left of my risotto. We will happily continue to return."
"The food here is amazing. Service impeccable. It's a cozy set up. It's about eight total table with one high top closer to the open kitchen. I had the Pei Mussels for appetizer. The garlic chive sausage, padron Chili's, leeks, Dijon-paprika brodo was a perfect harmony of smell and unforgettable surprise for my palette. The broth. Above average in taste. Served with fresh baked bread. Once you dip that bread you're hooked. I swear I almost didn't go beyond the appetizer. I just wanted more of that mussels. When the waiter came to clear the plate for my next dish I had to restrain myself from stopping him.The shaved Bartlett Pears came next. My aversion to sweet entree, salad or anything else that's not desert was totally squashed here. The Marcona Almond vinaigrette, black mission figs, Brie crema , red wine-cacao gastrique all worked in perfect harmony to produce an end result that was perfectly in sync. I chose the Hanger Steak for my entree since a couple of nights ago I had an amazing fish dinner. I'm mostly a meat eater. I know my meat. I am in awe of this entree. Super tender to start with. Perfectly cooked as requested medium. Pink and so enticing. The streak sat on top of sweet potato raclette aligot, sautéed kale, Moroccan roasted carrots, red wine-sage jus. Amen! (P.S Aligot is made from mashed potatoes blended with butter, cream, crushed garlic, and melted cheese.)I had their old fashion to keep me a bit distracted and I went home enchanted. And that creme brûlée....This is an off the beaten path location that is perfect for a date night with a special someone. Keep your mind open about the location. Bear in mind you're here for the food. You won't be sorry."
"Stopped in for lunch. Cute trendy vegan spot. A little on the pricey side, but quality ingredients and all dishes adjustable to accommodate food allergies/special diet restrictions. Left feeling full, but not heavy, and better knowing we fueled with good-for-you foods. Ordered the chagaccino, mushroom coffee. Delicious! A little sweet, hint of cinnamon, alkalinity of the shrooms cuts the espresso acidity. One of my new faves!! Also ordered the huge Vital Cobb bowl add "chicken," crispy bits like bacon, creamy dressing. Yummm. Friend had a Pad Thai. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked good, tacos, bowls, sandwiches. Great friendly service, staff is knowledgeable of the menu. All around A+ pick if you are in the area."
