"Very friendly service. The staff member that greeted me walked me through the menu and introduced herself and welcomed me in. They just opened a few days ago so weren't serving breakfast sandwiches yet but had a nice offering of Banh Mi sandwiches and other traditional sandwiches for around $11 plus tax. They also offer a daily selection of pastries.I ordered the chicken Bahn Mi. The chicken was tender and had good flavor and the bread was incredibly tasty and crunchy. There was a nice portion of the pickled veggies and their sauce had good flavor,I was a little disappointed to see how the Vietnamese iced coffee was made -- it was poured straight out of premade bottle rather than being house made. I will definitely be returning to try some of their other sandwiches. 4.5 stars"
"It was so good to visit an old-fashioned deli, and I questioned why I did not know about this place earlier...Great service, a kind greeter up front, and a lotta parking made the initial stage of the visit work well. It just got better and better.Mid-afternoon stops, so I was thinking of lunch! I ordered their famous matzo ball soup, which was delicious and met my expectations. I enjoyed the gluten-free BTLA, a superb sandwich on toasted wheat bread that included bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo. Enjoyed the diagonal cut like an NYC deli! A heaping order of fries was so yummy also.Afterward, I noticed that they had pastries and items to go in a cooler, which capped the visit off on a high note. I'll be back!"

Visit Restaurant Page"The aesthetics here are on point with beautiful latte art and trendy tableware! I enjoyed my whole milk latte and the almond croissant is one of my favorites around ($10 pre tax/tip for coffee and pastry). This was a great stop but not sure it's a place I'd plan to post up and do work for the day as the tables are pretty small. The vibes of the staff were slightly odd (not the most welcoming/friendliest), but expecting I just caught them at an off time. I hope to try Hearth's bread soon!"
"Our daughter wanted an amazing tres leches cake for her birthday and a quick search on Yelp lead me to this awesome bakery. Thank you Yelpers!!! The cake was so delicious and moist with wonderfully light frosting and a strawberry filling. I'm sure the cake served 30 but just ten of us gobbled it all up with everyone asking for a second slice. Yes, we were piggies but it was THAT good. Several family members mentioned this is the cake they want in their birthdays also. The bakery had many cakes of different sizes already made in the case and ready for same day pick up."
"Before boarding the flight to Florida from Denver we were looking for place to have quick breakfast and we were looking for the local place. We decided to have breakfast from Etai's Bakery Cafe. It is a small cafe having indoor and outdoor seating with the warm atmosphere. The cafe was clean and staff was friendly. From the menu we decided to order California Omelette, Garden Avocado Salad, Falafel with Tahini Sauce, Acai Energy Smoothie and bakery food. The service was good and we got our breakfast soon. The bakery products were good, delicious and made with fresh bread.Omelette as well as salad along with falafel were delicious too. Great breakfast options at Etai's Bakery Cafe along with the smoothie."
"Two words: Banh Mi.If I'm craving a Banh Mi in Denver, this is one of two places I'm going to. Consistent, delicious, and fresh every time.Vinh Xuong Bakery has a bit of cult following if you ask me. It's a place that caters to the Vietnamese population, yet has expanded its reach throughout the Denver area. The shop is larger than you'd expect, and even though Banh Mi is one of my favorite foods to shovel down in my car, I'll usually dine in since the atmosphere is homey and quaint. Now they also serve pastries, moon cake, fresh breads, teas and Vietnamese iced coffee (delish). I usually stray away from the pastries, but one of these days I'll step outside of my comfort zone and try some things I've never tried before!Combination Banh Mi // Chinese BBQ pork, Vietnamese ham, and pork headcheese w/ a pate spread. YUM. YUM. YUM. Crispy bread, salty meats, fresh herbs and vegetables. Personally, my pro tip for taking it from 10 to 11 is by adding chili oil and pickled jalapeños. I like it spicy and these balance the sandwich exquisitely.I love Vinh Xuong Bakery. I implore you to add a Banh Mi from here to your Denver foodie bucket list!"
"Happy Memorial Day bun. My go to spot when I'm in Denver. Some of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. We come for the pecan swirl cinnamon roll and the peach cinnamon roll. Definitely is a must try spot. You can't go wrong with any flavor cinnamon roll you try."
"I got one of their Valentine's drinks: Iced Caramel brule (white mocha, caramel, vanilla). Nothing out of the ordinary, but it did its job. Service was pretty standard."
"This is a little bit of a hole in the wall establishment. That means it's no frills and you know it has potential.I'd rate it in the top 1% of Banh mi options available in this mid-city. Yes there is a lot of options if you want Vietnamese food or Korean food but they are totally catering to a modified style of their food to appease the masses. Denver is only like 4% Asian people so I am not surprised they tamper down on the flavor profile at a lot of these hot spots. This banh mi reminds me of my favorite spot in the big apple. It is just as flavorful with lots of pickled daikon/carrots and the actual meat part of the matter is seasoned well. They use fresh ingredients and don't skimp on that part like some of the basic banh mi you can get at the larger Viet restaurants here.I go out of my way to obtain one of these sandwiches. I know they have other things but the sandwich gets me every time."

There's good sandwiches you brag about, then there's awesome sandwiches you want to keep a secret for yourself. I found my new favorite sandwich spot and just had to share what I found! If you've had a Vietnamese sandwich before, try their pork sandwich. The bread is a tier above your typical Vietnamese banh mi bread. It's an artisan crust that's rustic and has a great crunch. The protein tastes authentic like what you'd order at a Vietnamese storefront off Federal. I love veggies and they pack plenty vinegar carrots and daikon. I wish I asked for a side of their tasty house sauce to dunk my sandwich but that's me wanting the world. If it was my first time at a Banh Mi shop, I'd try the turkey sandwich. I'm looking forward to trying the curry chicken salad sandwich on my next visit. Loving the mom and pop shop for the neighborhood. 5/5 for vibes and taste.

Exactly what you'd expect from a classic, non-kosher Jewish deli. There's pastrami and knishes, challah and blintzes, bottomless cups of coffee, and great pickles. I had the pastrami on rye and was happy with it. Service was good and attentive.

Their croissants are amazing! Both the plain and chocolate ones are like a taste of Paris. The coffee to go came in a jar. Completely stupid.

Back in town visiting family and had a much better experience than last time! We dined in rather than getting takeout, which may have made a difference. The food quality just overall seemed better!I got the arugula quinoa salad, minus the cucumbers, almonds and apricots. Everything was correct this time and the salad was delicious! My husband got the Greek salad and our son got the turkey sandwich. We also shared kettle chips! They were quite crowded, but service was still fast and friendly! Glad I gave them another try.
Visit Restaurant Page"I really wanted to love Noisette. It's been on my to-try list for awhile, not only because I love French food, but also because I have loved their dishes at all the festivals and events they've served food at. But Noisette was... fine. Not great, but not bad.The decor is cute. A little pink for me, but fine. My husband probably wouldn't walk in here by himself. The service is great and the chef-owners are super nice, which makes this tough. One thing I don't like is that there's no bar seating. My husband and I often like to walk into restaurants during happy hour and sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders. Sometimes I dine by myself (like I did here) -- and then the lack of bar seating is even more uncomfortable.Only 5 cocktails on the menu -- 3 of them gin based. I usually expect a little more from a cocktail menu at an upscale restaurant these days. The biggest thing for me was that the food was... fine. I admit, my opinion is definitely tinged by the lack of gluten-free alternatives. It's always an issue with French restaurants: the apps all come with a baguette or a brioche or on a crepe or inside a pastry. Most places in Denver have done a bit better accommodating the huge number of gluten-intolerant people here (even if it's just getting some gluten-free bread from another Colorado bakery). The gluten-free crackers they brought for the foie gras were NOT good -- but I was not impressed by the $33 hard chunk of foie gras with super-tart sauce either (and I usually love foie gras) -- but maybe it was the crackers. I should have gotten something else, but I think the endives were the only gluten-free option. The lobster main dish was really good -- a whole lobster for $75 is ok pricing I think. I have had good lobster many places, though... so not sure I'd come back for this one? Total for just myself: 2 glasses of sparkling, foie gras app, lobster main, French-style cheesecake and espresso martini -- $178."
"So glad I popped over while visiting Denver. The pastries are always very fresh. Try to get in early because many of the items sell out quickly. The bakery is in a marketplace setting with cafeteria style seating available. The line moves quickly and we checked out fast. No real interaction with the staff other than stating which item we wanted."
"This place is one of my favorite cafes, with well rounded offerings from coffee, alcoholic beverages, wine, fresh pressed juices, food, pastries and cakes. What really stands out for me are their cakes. I've tried every single one with the chocolate fudge being my ultimate must have at least once a month. Yes they re pricy for their size, but packed with quality and taste out of this world. Definitely a must try, and don't forget to let it sit out to acclimate to room temperate before engulfing. Their flatbreads are a great choice as well. They have a plethora of coffee drinks from classics to specialty ones. I typically stick to espressos, Americanos, or drip coffee, but I tried the Cafe De Olla and actually enjoyed it. The service is always delightful and pleasant. The interior is comfortable and well lit, and very modern with a warm finish. There is ample seating inside and out. Overall a place to check out when living in or visiting downtown Denver., it won't disappoint."
"My coworker and I loved this little gem! Not only are the salad portions huge, but the salad options themselves were great as well. My first day here I got a salad with smoked salmon, and this was super tasty with the parsley vinaigrette. We also had the hummus to share, and the pita bread was delicious and unique. The second day we came for lunch, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita bowl as a salad- how cool! It was also super delicious, and both the carrot dressing and tahini dressing were tasty. We had to get the hummus and pita again with our lunch because it was so addicting. Great find in this area of Denver."
"Chocolate is my weakness. The bakery also caters to individuals. We got a chocolate cake and a ganache torte. It was deliscious.... amazing.... so deliscious. There are personal sized cakes, so you don't have to get a huge one....but, totally OKAY! If you do get a large one. This place is dangerously close to my house."
"5th for 2022 It has been awhile since my visit and ... and the whole place.... is in shambles. That was my 1st observation. They have moved everything around and made the place look like a fort with plastic screen to separate the customers from the rest of the bakery. This made it very hard to see what they had to offer and I could not even see the menu.My mission for the day was to order bahn mi and compare to Bale La and could not make out the choices since I couldn't really see anything. After confirming with the owner, yes, bahn mi is available and did not know what to get but did see glimpse of combination and that's what I ordered. Came back after few minutes and it was ready and $6 was the damage. Brought it home and opened it up about 2 hours after ordering it. To my surprise, the bread was still crunch, filled with plenty of sliced assorted meats and pickled vegies and spreads. It was pretty large sandwich for $6 and definitely worth it. I think Ba Le has it for about $5 but lot skinnier and also bread is different. Vinh Xuong offers bread that is closer to Italian (softer crust) verses Ba Le being closer to French banquette with hard crust.Only down side is I did not see Vietnamese coffee and I had to go to another store."
"When I went to check out I asked a few questions, and learned Vinnola's is a family run place that's been in business for 49 years. I went looking for real imported Italian pasta -- it just tastes better and I'm glad I found Vinnola's. They had a nice selection of some of my favorites, plus other things that I didn't know I should get. The grocery store has lots of stuff from fresh Italian sausage, to pastas, homemade tomato sauce, olives, and pastries to name a few. They also make sandwiches to order -- hot paninis or cold subs. There is a seating area where you can have a nice lunch or afternoon coffee. Support your local business -- go to Vinnola's next time you need some really good Italian ingredients."
"I stopped in the other day to pick up pastries for my parents as a thank you for keeping my son overnight and once I walked in to their super cute shop and saw all of the yummy-ness behind the counter I couldn't resist buying something's for my household too. So the cruffin- omg wow. The lady who helped me told me they're her favorite, and now they're mine too! It like a chocolate stuffed croissant rolled in cinnamon sugar in the shape of a muffin. So amazing!"
"What a great gem in the Northside! Everything is super fresh and delish. You can't mess up."
"I love this bakery so much! I have severe nut allergies, so it's nice to know that this facility is nut free and is very aware of common allergens. The scones are my favorite but everything I've tried there is great."
"Hello, dangerous. Do you think if I beg hard enough, the Valente family will adopt me? I'm considering quitting my day job to live here instead!Jokes aside, I've had Valentes buried in my bookmarks since I moved to Denver. And to be honest, I forgot about it until it somehow worked its way into a recent conversation. I immediately made a game plan to visit ASAP.First impressions. This is the most comprehensive Italian market I've been to in a long time. In terms of sauces, pastas, olive oils, you name it, they have it. My favorite brands like De Cecco, Sclafani and Cento line the shelves like a library. It's a sight to behold. I could almost cry.The party doesn't stop there. Even though it very well could. The selection of insane. But then, not to be outdone, the Valente family has its own deli and bakery on site. They make incredible Italian sausage (just made meatballs out of them!), frozen pastas and baked goods. The white chocolate macadamia cookies are the best of its kind. You think I'm being facetious. Trust me, I'm not.Oh, and one epic Italian sandwich to boot. Soft bread, beautifully cut Italian meats stacked perfectly. Awe man, I wish I could eat these every day but my heart says otherwise. The family owned market has been in business for over 70 years. It's in its third generation now. These are the types of places everybody loves supporting. I plan to come here for all my Italian products from here on out. No need to buy them from a big box store when a family owned spot has competitive prices and an even larger variety of products to choose from..Valentes, take this as my public profession of love for your business!"
"I had a chance to finally stop by this cute bakery in the Washington Park area last week and had a pleasant experience. This place has an extensive menu for both sweet and savory baked goods. When I was standing in line, I had a hard time deciding on which pastry to buy. Interior decors are so eye-catching as well. Everything you see inside this bakery is vintage from 1920's era. It looks like a café in Paris where famous writers like Hemingway frequented (did Hemingway like coffee at all? Am I just making that up?) Lucky me; I ended up getting two pastries with one price, by an accident. I asked for a zucchini feta croissant but the barista (who was so pleasant to me by the way) couldn't hear me well (or the blame is on me; my voice wasn't loud enough) so he put a zucchini muffin in a little brown bag which I didn't notice until I had paid for everything (I also got me a 16oz iced black tea with light ice.) When I politely/apologetically informed him of the little error, he, of course, kindly corrected it by giving me the right pastry and allowed me to keep the muffin as well. He said, "It (the muffin) is for tomorrow's breakfast!!" What a kind gesture!! Both of the zucchini pastries were delicious. I also liked my black iced tea. I believe it's earl grey if I'm not mistaken. They put some (light amount of) cream in it but this cream did the magic. I do drink earl grey with cream in it so I wonder how he knew that without even asking me. Great job!! Right next to this quaint bakery, there exists another cute shop for gift and they are connected so you don't need to go out of the bake shop to browse this gift shop. I had my iced beverage/food in my hand but the guy at the cashier didn't seem it (I wasn't really consuming any of it anyway. Oh wait, I may have sipped my iced tea but I was very careful by not spilling it!!) What a way for two businesses to coexist by having this beautiful symbiotic relationship: sip and browse!"
"This is a Wash Park neighborhood gem! It's officially 1/2 a mile's walk from me, but every time we walk here, I never regret it. Yes, there's usually a line on weekend mornings, but I often don't mind it. If you don't come early, they usually sell out of the more popular pastries. (We arrived around 11a and they were out of blueberry muffins.) Pro Tip: If you're unable to grab a shaded seat outside, they usually have a nearly empty indoor space (with loads of AC cranking) and a well maintained restroom."
"I'm really confused about this place. All of the products are delicious. The space is cute and neat as a pin. There's lots of seating and, unlike most bakeries, they keep extended hours. However, I walk past frequently and they never seem to be doing a significant amount of business. So, what exactly is this place? Since they make pasticiotti and call them "pusties" I guess this is a Utica, NY-style Italian bakery. I don't know why they're not publicizing this. Denver has several Italian delis and quite a few Italian restaurants. Each of them makes a few dessert or bakery items, but I have yet to find a full-service Italian bakery in Denver. I guess there are a few spots in the outer suburbs.I think this place is just what we need here in central Denver. I wish they would focus on a wider selection of Italian items. I also don't understand the absence of an espresso machine. A wine and beer license would also be nice if they're going to continue to stay open until 11:00 p.m.I'd hate to see this place close. I think they're on to something. I've tried the cheesecake, cookies, hand pies, cake, pusties, and calzones. Every bite has been excellent. The Web site is very uninformative. I'd really like to hear about the owner's background and philosophy for the business."
"Beauty AND brawn, these pastries are the whole package. Not only do they look gorgeous, but they are so freakin delicious and expertly made. The flavors are extraordinary, the dough buttery, the croissant has layers on layers on layers, and on top of all that, it's rainbow inside!! Fun fun fun. The lady working there, I guess the owner/baker, is so sweet and friendly. I left with the best feeling and want to go back to eat everything else... plus seconds of everything I already had!"
"Great Italian pastries. Very fresh and incredibly flavorful Awesome serviceI dream of their cannolis"
"The best pastries I've had in Denver to date! Yes, I know it's a bold claim, but everything I tried, was phenomenal! What a hidden gem! The best chocolate croissant I've ever had in the US!! The gluten-free blueberry muffin is magical! And the danishes... My God, the danishes!! This place is an absolute must!"
"Read about The Salty coming to the Mile High..and was super excited. It did not disappoint. Gorgeous store...crazy busy with a line out the door.Donuts were fantastic...super light brioche dough.Creative flavors and designAll flavors were amazing.Highly recommend."
"Best coffee house and I have been to so many. Best espresso hands down. Thanks for still offering a dark roast!! Delicious menu items. Thanks for offering vegan options!!Phenomenal ambiance. Super well done. Top notch service. Best part, the entire purpose seems community focused. Check out their website for purpose statements, land acknowledgment, and upcoming events. Inclusive and safe. Just love this place!!"
"Great place to grab an excellent sandwich, made with fresh ingredients. The best part is the bread -- made fresh on site with natural ingredients. They offer so many choices, It's hard to choose. I had to let the manager/cashier guide me. She knows bread!!!! Orders are prepared on site and delivered to your table shortly after ordering. So much to choose from, I'm sure I'll be back for another one of their comforting and satisfying lunches."
"Must try when youre in Denver!! All the pastries were buttery, crispy, & & just overall delicious. Our party of 3 naturally decides to get a mixture 6 or 7 to try. All were delicious. Enough said. Street parking. It was pretty busy when we went but were able to score a table for 2 but we made 3 fit. Take out would probably be a better idea."
