"The breadth of their menu is one of their strengths. The food is always well prepared, extremely tasty and reasonably priced. Service is attentive and professional. This restaurant seems to exist mainly on carry out service but we had a ladies luncheon there and it was a big success, and I recommend it for either dining in or carry out. The ambience is authentic and quiet so you can actually hear each other's conversation which I consider to be a big and rare plus in today's dining experiences"

Visit Restaurant Page"A night out with the girls!! We were heading to the theater later and wanted dinner. This is my favorite type of dinner, little bites of many things. We got there at Happy Hour. I ordered green tea and it came in a small cast iron pot. So enjoyable. We worked our way down the menu ordering things to share. The Japanese pumpkin dumplings were an interesting flavor combination. The shrimp ceviche was refreshing and bright with a crispy rice paper for dipping. The spring rolls had a good crunch and lots of veggies inside. The crab cheese rangoon purses were delicious! I love rangoons! Pom Pom shrimp had a fun dipping sauce with a good spice on the crispy coating. We tried both types of soup dumplings, General Tso and French onion soup. Yum! Perfect dinner for the four of us. Our server gave us great recommendations and checked in on us regularly. I would love to go back again."
"This place is one of my go tos in the neighborhood. There's a great menu selection and they're always quick. I've ordered from here about a dozen times and they've yet to mess up my order (knock on wood) which I think is hard to say about most restaurants! Big fan of their crispy egg rolls, pho and wonton soup. The portion sizes are great, especially for the price. The staff is always so friendly and really cares about your experience. Highly recommend checking this place out!"
"We stopped in on their soft opening day and were seated immediately. The staff was great. You can tell they were working on some kinks for a new opening but nothing worth complaining about. Got to meet the owner who was super awesome. We decided to try some new dishes that we have never had before. I got the Thai basil which came with minced chicken and a ton of bell peppers and onions. Fantastic! I will totally get that again. I got medium spice level and the heat was there but not too hot. My husband got the curry chicken with coconut rice. He loved it! Both dishes were amazing. I will definitely be back to try more dishes and love that this location is near my office. The restaurant is small and has limited seating but they seem to handle to go orders quickly."
"3.5 stars. Met a friend here for lunch one day, though parking wasn't any easier in this neighborhood on a weekday afternoon. Service was great, but the experience overall wasn't very memorable. I'm sure the fish was fresh, but what really stood out was the fish:rice ratio as shown by photos of their sushi. Generous portions for a reasonable price, which is even better at lunch. On that note, check out their lunch specials specifically. Okinawa seems less busy than nearby restaurants so it's an obvious choice in terms of wait and crowd. Or just get it to-go or delivered. Can't remember what exactly I ordered but enjoyed the variety in types of rolls and fish. Humble little spot right on Tennyson. Worthy contender for "everyday sushi" in Denver."
"I ordered for delivery through DoorDash. Very impressed with the food quality! Food arrived at the right temperature, rice was hot and boba was still cold. I lived in Seattle for 3 years prior to moving to Denver so my judgement for Asian cuisine is high. This spot is legit. Will definitely be returning to dine in person and also continue doing deliveries. The food is authentic and it tastes GOOD. Prices match the quality of the food. I am very happy with my experience. Provided details of the items ordered in the pictures :) totally recommend checking this place out!"
"This was my husband and I's first time and it definitely blew our minds! As we entered the restaurant, it looks a little small but there is more seating. I really appreciate the cooks visible and a bar seating area. We went on a Saturday night around 6pm and luckily we were able to be seated right away! Food --Chilled Tofu 5/5 -- my favorite dish!! Everything paired so well together and it was spectacular. It is really flavorful and the juice can be overpowering but I rec eating it with rice!! Hong You Chao Shou 5/5 -- really tasty and flavorful. The chili oil is a little spicy and would rec putting it on the side. Mushroom Fried Rice 4/5 -- the rice was really great and the mushroom was super flavorful! The only thing I felt about this dish was that it was a little salty. Braised Pork Shank 5/5 -- the flavor was amazing! When you make a sandwich, it pair nicely was the fermented veggies! It complimented each other. Overall, I was definitely amazed by the food! The service was great when it came to filling our cup but our waitress didn't really come by often. Def great!"
"Probably the best meal I've had since living in Denver for the last 7 years. We went with friends and decided to splurge on the Omakase and so happy we did. It wasn't cheap , but had zero buyers remorse. It was 10 plates and by the last plate we were pleasantly full. I wish I could remember what each plate was, but once again hands down my favorite meal in Denver. Service was impeccable. The waitress went over the menu and told us what everything was and provided recommendations on what we should do. Would recommend if you love sushi and willing to spend the $ a perfect place to go on a date night."
"Classic! I feel like the line at Uncle has gotten shorter as the years go on, since they still don't take reservations. I've walked in for dinner on random weeknights, and I've been able to get a table or sit at the bar right away. As always in this neighborhood, come early if you're meeting others to carve out time for street parking.Usually I get the Veggie Khao Soi with side of fried tofu, but most recently this summer, I wanted to try something cold - the Hiyashi Mazemen. Sooo good and refreshing! They have a special where my partner and I could get ramen and a bottle of sake at a discounted rate. Service is great, and I love observing the chefs work their magic."
"Fantastic find! We arrived on a Friday night and were not disappointed at all. At first, the restaurant did seem a little unorganized as we were waiting by the door for a few minutes without being acknowledged, but once they sat us down, everything fell into place. Not only was the staff attentive, they were very quick to get us waters, menus, and get our orders out. We ordered 5 entrées to share, and we were not disappointed. The food was perfectly seasoned and was so flavorful. The spicy dishes had a kick, which was nice. We did try to not go too spicy as we were all sharing, but even the "hot" level did its thing! We've been talking about this place since we left, and can't wait to come back. Also, they were playing 2000's music which really made the ambience even better! Good food and great vibes!!"

Flavor / Fast / Heat Literally the first night my husband and I made it to the local area and we were in no mood to cook. As always our go to is Thai and we were very happy with this find & will certainly be back! I got their crunchy sesame tofu with vegetables and it was one of my favorite tofu Thai dishes. My husband got their chicken curry with peanut sauce & WOW that was so good. Both dishes I want to get again. We both were disappointed in their pad Thai. Overall I look forward to coming back!!

Delicious, great atmosphere, solid! We shared soup dumplings (both kinds), the short rib bahn mi, and the Rangoon purses. All were scrumptious. As for others complaining about prices, these are very comparable to the current dining market, even less so for downtown in my experience. The bahn mi was the star and very filling. Interesting drink menu too - we had the carda-mom jeans and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

It's a cold snowy night, and I am craving some ramen. Thought I would try this place because it's very close to me especially with the roads being bad out. I was very hesitant to come in and try because it looked closed when we walked by. There was only one table, and half the restaurant was dark. It looked like the back lights were off. And the bar was pretty empty. The ambiance wasn't there for me. When you go in you have to order and pay first then they serve you. You have to tip before you know the service your getting. The gentleman that took care of us was nice and checked on us frequently. For the food, they do have a lot of options from ramen to pho to pad Thai.APPS: we wanted to try something different, raspberry cheese roll. This felt more of a dessert but it wasn't too bad. The crab cheese wontons, was heavy on the cheese and light on the crab. We've had better. ENTREE: They state they do not use MSG so that is always a good thing. I love spicy to I tried to spicy beef tonkotsu. The broth had good flavor. But I was overwhelmed with the amount and beanspourts and cabbages. It was all veggies and no noodles. The beef felt like it was pho beef, over cooked and just didn't go together for me. The egg was probably the best part for me. Not over cooked or undercooked but perfectly done. The next bowl we're use to pork belly with our tonkotsu so this bowl was custom made but there was nothing special about it. The broth was bland and pork belly seemed to be off. I probably come back to try other dishes. Our search for the best ramen in Denver continues.

So glad this place is here to service this area of denver. Delicious food. Rich flavor. Easy parking. You can tell they put a lot of love and authentic energy into their dishes. I love the papaya salad, the tofu massaman curry, the pad Thai. Some dishes are a little on the sweet side so the server told me to ask for it less sweet next time. But I was told the curry cannot be adjusted since they make the sauce ahead of time.

Delicious sushi! We came here on a whim before a open bar holiday party. Mostly because we found parking right in front of the restaurant and we were open to eating wherever. I'm glad the Tennyson Street parking gods chose this place for us. All the rolls were good but my favorite was the Shrek roll. It was amazingly good and yes it was green. Service was fast and friendly. They took us right away despite not having a reservation. A lot of people ordered take out while we were there. But that didn't seem to slow down the service. I definitely want to come back and try more rolls - maybe the location in Golden.

As A new Yorker that has lived in Texas the last 11 years and has not found a single Chinese food restaurant that matches to NYC Chinese, I'm happily surprised that I found this delicious restaurant when i was visotong denver over the weekend in Lakewood, CO. It's the closest that I've been to amazing Chinese food since I left NYC. The owners and employees are super friendly as soon as you walk in. Their beef and broccoli was sauced to perfection. Spicy garlic shrimp mild had a decent amount of heat. Definitely try their boba tea! The fried rice was delicious, I only wish they had more egg in it. Do yourself a favor and order from here!
Visit Restaurant Page"I've never had Tibetan food and had always wanted to try Momos. This place was super affordable and delicious. We ordered the sampler momos, and you can pick any combination of chicken, beef, and vegetarian. The chicken momos were my personal favorite. The chutney it came with is pretty spicy, but pairs super nicely. I ordered 3 dishes, including the dinner special, and it totaled to $26.50. I'd recommend sitting on their patio because the inside is a bit cramped."
"It's been awhile since we have eaten her and it seems the menu has improved as well as the food. The 16th street mall, Colorado's #1 tourist attraction is in the midst of a massive, much needed, multi year renovation. Blue Agave happens to be on the first section of this project to be completed. The outdoor seating area is easily four times its original size and it's very inviting. Lots of plants and two and four tops that could be configured for 6-12 tops if they were so inclined. The service was great. Seated quickly and no wait. Our server was on top of things and kept us hydrated and the food coming. We started with queso fundido. This is really tasty indeed. Green chilis. Multiple types of cheeses and chips and tortillas to scoop with. Very delicious. We ordered the Santa Fe Cobb and the chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious and made with quality ingredients. The salad was loaded with protein although I don't ask for any. Loved the fresh avocado and boiled eggs. The food is great, service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a summer evening on the patio."
"Corner Ramem is a cozy and trendy eatery located in Denver that offers Japanese cuisine. The restaurant boasts a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which perfectly complements their delicious menu items. One of their most popular dishes is the yaki udon, which is a stir-fried noodle dish. The yaki udon is packed with flavor and features a variety of fresh vegetables and protein options, such as chicken or tofu. Customers rave about the generous portions and how satisfying the dish is.Another standout menu item is their ramen, which is made from scratch and cooked to perfection. The broth is rich and savory, and the #noodles are perfectly cooked. Customers appreciate the variety of toppings available, such as soft-boiled eggs, pork belly, and vegetables, which add depth and texture to the dish. Finally, the poke bowl is a must-try for any sushi or seafoodlover. The poke bowl is a fresh and healthy option, with a variety of colorful ingredients like raw salmon or tuna, avocado, edamame, and seaweed. The quality and freshness of the ingredients come together in a perfect balance."
"I must admit, I was skeptical before I tried Ooka. Their menu is HUGE and includes Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and all sorts of asian fusion. It makes you wonder what their real specialty is, but turns out, they do everything surprisingly well! Here's a few things I've ordered, all of which I have liked: - Sesame chicken (with white rice and steamed broccoli) - Dynamite Roll- Las Vegas Roll - yellowtail sushi- salmon sushi- potstickers - gyoza- veggie tempura- Thai Iced Tea I really haven't been disappointed by anything. You really can't go wrong with the sesame chicken, it's a great balance of light and crispy batter, tangy sauce with a little kick, and tender chicken within (though the broccoli could be steamed better). The dynamite roll is also, well, dynamite. It's a special roll with deep fried spicy salmon/eel/cream cheese combo. Great combo of sweet and spicy with a nice texture. The Las Vegas roll is also top shelf, which is lobster tempura, eel, cucumber, avocado within, and spicy scallops & mango on top. Again a really strong compliment of flavors and textures. I wouldn't call it my favorite sushi place in town (it's currently #2 but potential to take #1), but it is certainly my top overall "Asian" option. With so many options and consistency in taste + quality, I applaud the effort here and say keep it up!"
"This is a plant-based vegan/vegetarian casual eatery that serves Asian fusion food. Until my new friend suggested this to be our little lunch get-together place the past Wednesday, I had no clue about its existence (or I had heard about it but the knowledge somehow fell into oblivion.) Therefore, I owe my friend huge thanks.I couldn't wait to dine here. I browsed the menu a few times online beforehand so that I wouldn't be so indecisive when I got here on the day of. Japanese Katsu Rice Bowl caught my attention but I thought I'd try to be spontaneous was my intention.I jinxed it. I got me the Katus Bowl when I got here. I mean at least that would be a great starter item to pick for my very first visit. My friend said what she likes about this place is that they serve food in a to-go container even if it's a dine-in. That way, people would not feel so obligated to finish all of their food; they can always take the rest home with them to avoid food waste. I kind of agree with this concept because both my friend and I could not finish our food as the portions here are pretty generous.I truly enjoyed my Katus Rice Bowl. At the first impression, the entire food looked salty (I simply dislike salty food.) I was wrong (and glad to be wrong!!.) Although there was a generous amount of tonkatsu sauce over the katsu part, it wasn't salty at all. And the veggies that were underneath the katsu were cooked to the perfect texture. In other words, they weren't soggy or too raw. This restaurant is surrounded by hospitals and medical offices. It must be very popular amongst those workers from those places. Although on a Wednesday that seemed typical, we were one of the few people who dined here during the peak noon lunch time. The lady at the ordering counter said that this place opened during the peak of the pandemic. I truly hope that they are getting enough foot traffic. For a restaurant that focuses on plant-based only food, they should get more accolades from people who prefer this type of diet. With that said, they have my utmost support for sure!! I'll definitely be back soon. I will try one of the noodle bowls at my next visit."
"I've been in a Chinese food desert since moving back to Colorado from San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Chicago. Especially when it comes to delivery. But now that Whole Foods closes at 9pm, my options are even more limited, if I don't want to cook & want to eat dinner btw 9-10pm.Enter the relentless GrubHub delivery / rating search, which I sometimes corroborate with Yelp. I'd seen Spicy Basil a few times before, but hadn't tried it yet. WOW! Was I impressed tonight!!!! My food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Royal Chicken and the Tropical Fried Rice, and both were/are phenomenal. I intentionally ordered enough to have leftovers for at least two more meals, and am so happy I did. The food was fresh-tasting, with all the right flavors. It was finally trustworthy, reliable Chinese food.As of now, this is my new go-to! :-)"
"Yelpers rated East China Asian Cuisine the #1 Chinese restaurant in Aurora. I had to go see for myself. I don't think it's the best, but it's on par with the rest of the Chinese cuisine restaurants in the area that serve American-style Chinese food. There's nothing that really stands out about the food, although they do offer a few vegan options, as well as a few Vietnamese and Tai dishes. They also have some boba drinks and some flavored iced teas. It's a very simple and quiet restaurant. They have a full bar. Most of their business seems to be take-out and delivery. I had the full cashew chicken dinner, it's about $20 and includes tea, a won ton, an egg roll, a choice of soup, and a choice of rice. The cashew chicken was pretty salty. It was an ample portion that could have easily been split with another person. My dad had the orange chicken dish. It was about $14 and includes a large scoop of steamed rice. It was pretty good, Not too sweet, and yes, an ample portion. The service was efficient and parking was easy. Please support this independently owned restaurant. I have great respect for anyone still making a go of it these days."
"I enjoy finding new restaurants on delivery apps. Asian fusion is highly underrepresented in Denver. I'm happy Playground is finally opening! The menu looks friendly to those who want to venture into Asian food. The VFC Wings were salty and crispy. The fish sauce and red pepper marinade had that Asian kick of sweet spicy salty. Nailing those flavors is tough and I think Playground does the wings justice. The side salad was also a pleasant surprise.Food arrived in a timely manner. Packaging is respectable. I'm eyeing the Tom Yum fried rice or the Crunchy Chicken Chinese Salad for my next order. Worth the try!"
"After walking around for some time trying to find lunch we decided on BuBu. It's not exactly out on 16th Street, so it was the large sign out there that caught our attention. It's certainly a healthy, light option for lunch. My friend was on a diet, so this was the best option for us. I had the Troy Aloha Poke bowl but substituted the protein for Chicken. I really enjoyed my bowl, and the dressing was delicious. This place is a grab and go kind of place, but they have plenty of seating too. Great value for the price. Quick and easy option for anyone who works in the area and wants a somewhat healthy meal. Oh... they don't carry straws anymore. I thought it was strange that they have cups and lids, but no straws. They will have to figure something out....."
"This place is among my top 5s in Denver! Brought a few out of town vegetarian friends here for dinner and the green machine was the highlight of our dinner. We ordered 3 of these! Veggie tempura was pretty good and so crispy yet not oily! The matcha panna cotta here is a great dessert and never disappoints! Service has always been so great out here."
"Located inside the food court of mango house, this Burmese food vendor is a definite must try if you're in the area. I had a bit of a hard time finding this place at first, being new to the area. I thought it was a stand alone building and didn't realize it was inside a separate place. There's plenty of parking in the back parking lot, and you just follow the signs for mango house to go inside. Mango house is a shared space for Asylees and refugees. There's different little shops inside including a medical practice and small grocers, along with lots of different food vendors in their food court. Burma house in particular specializes in Burmese food, which I've only had once or twice before. The staff were really friendly and efficient (we got our food in under 10-15 minutes) and they also seem to be from Burma. The food has a homemade vibe to it with no frills, and the flavors are bright and plentiful. I got the tea leaf salad -- super fresh and delicious -- along with the Nan gyi dok -- almost like a pad Thai with rice noodles, topped with a boiled egg and some crunchy garlic crisps (delicious and filling). Really loved my experience here and definitely will be back."
"We always love Indochine! The service is incredibly friendly, the environment is pleasant and never too loud - easy to enjoy a conversation with friends. And the food is absolutely fantastic! Our favorites include the Drunken Noodles with beef, the yellow curry and the pineapple curries are both creamy and decadent with perfect flavor, and the sushi - such unique flavor combinations that you don't find elsewhere! We love the Tropic Thunder, Nutty Chicks, and Kona rolls. Don't miss eating here!"
"I do like their Chicken wings but forgot how spicy they are. Luckily the radish helped with the fire in my mouth :) He likes chicken wings but prefers the other restaurant we go to. But he liked the chicken katsu and couldn't finish the large portion. Leftovers for lunch for me! I didn't realize they have onion rings and they were ok. More batter than onion which is fine with me. The potstickers were good. Again spicy! I'm a wimp. The servers were attentive and polite. The chair I sat on first was slightly sticky but the restaurant looked clean. Bright light from the windows. Parking in the shared lot."
"Go Fish has stood the test of time and has proven to be a reliable spot for sushi. Prices are right with no rolls over $20. You never leave here hungry.I've never strayed away from the sushi. They do have appetizers, kitchen items like fried rice and tempura dishes, and desserts. I've always been in a sushi mood here. They do have a vegetarian/vegan menu as well! And to be honest, we've never been disappointed. Here are the specialty rolls I ordered last time we dined in a few weeks back.+Fantasy Roll // spicy salmon, crunch, masago, avocado, mango, topped with seared togarashi salmon and white tuna, crispy rice puff, eel sauce, wasabi mayo.+Triple X Roll // spicy yellowtail, spicy tuna, crunch, jalapeño, topped with seared tuna, garlic chips, eel sauce, house sauce.Dependable sushi here at Go Fish. It's right on the main drag of Broadway on a lively corner, so expect to see some type of action while you're here. Once you're inside, you'll be taken care of. Weather permitting, sit outside on the patio!"
"While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more."
"Not enough great things to say about this place. A staple in the neighborhood and everything on the menu is delish you can not go wrong with anything. Great service extremely polite. Great low key vibes. Every time I go I try and get news dishes to work my way through the menu"
"The moon must have played a part in my in-person order to go as the chicken fried was ateamed, and the steamed dumplings ended up being pan-fried potstickers which all kinda threw me off but bummed more for the gact I didn't make this discovery until I got home."
"They had crab today so we ordered Singapore chili crab, salt and pepper crab and garlic butter crab. The best was the salt and pepper crab. The seasoning was spot on. I had some of the other two but finished the salt and pepper. They didn't want to wait all night for me to eat so I packed up the other two leftovers. They had beef rendang and char koay teow. Finished those up right away. I eat slow: oh well. It was a treat and not inexpensive."
"My son flew in for a wedding and we all went to lunch here to spend some time with him before he went about his busy weekend. We had a table of 12. The service was great and the place is big enough to accommodate. The place is nice. As promised, I took a picture of the egg roll vermicelli bowl. We had so many dishes that we also shared too. Everything tasted fantastic. Thanks for a great meal. Come check this place out on this side of town."
"I've been to the other ChoLon locations before and was excited to learn that they opened up a location closer to where I live! We came as a group of four for dinner (reservations recommended). We had French onion soup dumplings, scallop tartare, crab fried rice, tempura mushrooms/asparagus, lemongrass chicken satays, and brussels sprouts. Everything was tasty! The fried rice and dumplings were the crowd favorites. We probably would not order the tempura veggies again.Service was friendly!"
