Demitris Restaurant

We are in the area visiting. We are so glad that we found Demitris! We went on a Thursday and we were seated quickly. I had the French Toast with a side of cheese grits, which was scrumptious. My husband had smothered hash browns and a side of eggs. He liked it, but ended up ordering the French toast as well. We liked it so much we went back the next day as well. I got the pancakes and bacon. My husband got the veggie omelette and cheese grits. The portions are so big. So make sure you go when you are hungry. You will probably still take food home. The two waitresses that we had made sure to take of everyone. I highly recommend Demitris!

The food was awesome. The service was spectacular. Great friendly experience. A true diner experience that you don't find much these days. I was in town and looked them up on yelp found they had good reviews and decided to drive across town to go eat breakfast. The exterior Was a little bit dated, but the inside was great and as I said, the food and service were phenomenal. Great place to go for a neighborhood diner experience highly recommended.

Back in the day, Sunset on Glenwood was the go to spot in Decatur for old school southern breakfast. Now, the place to be is Demitris on Covington Highway cause they just don't miss! I have never had a single item of food not hit, and the portions are huge. I always need a to-go plate when I go on Saturdays. Today I had the bacon, fried egg and cheese biscuit and the biscuit is so flaky and melts in your mouth.

It can get a lil hot innay, but babyyyyyy, this breakfast take you back to ya Grandma kitchen. No fancy schmancy, just delicious ass "Goodie mob shit," as my Airbnb host described it. We went at 10am on a Saturday, no wait. Appreciated that the three waitresses attended to everybody. Great customer service. Fast service too. We come every time we in Atlanta now.Didn't get a pic, but my daughter had pancakes and bacon. Son had French toast and bacon.

You cannot beat this local breakfast spot I enjoy coming here when I have the time. Food is always on point!

While traveling, we make pit stops at diners. Nowadays, they're just as affordable as fast food joints. On this occasion, I chose an omelet with rye toast and cottage cheese. It turned out to be a delightful experience with a pleasant atmosphere, reminiscent of the kind of diner where you could imagine Elvis and James Dean hanging out. If I find myself passing through again, I'll definitely return.

Yumminess overload and great customer service! Despite the wait that I had during the pre-lunch rush hour, I was accommodated with a complementary beverage and updates on timetable for my order. There are signs clearly posted regarding wait times, so no surprise and did not mind as I was getting car repairs done across the street.My mechanic at Crystal Auto Repair vouched for the food at Dametri's and he told no lies! My flounder sandwich with sides of green beans and french fries were prepared to order, which was reason for the wait. I would've liked a bit more seasoning on my fish and green beans, and may mention next time when I return.Dining area is a decent size as did not see anyone waiting for tables. Will say that there were several to go orders including mine, and we had a section allotted for the wait. The motif had lots of roosters in all forms, and there were menu posted inside and out. Specials were listed on board near order area. Also good amount of parking available.Demitri's offer lunch (& possibly dinner) options as well as all day breakfast. Everything I saw looked delicious, and will definitely be back to sample the other options. There were local and Marta police cars when I passed by en route to mechanic, and noticed a mix of patrons. Truly a great find and appears to have many regulars of all demographics.

Good food today took a friend with me this time. I've eaten here a few times it has improved the quality of food. I got an omelet with grits really good. My friend got French toast she enjoyed it. I will be back

Delicious food, I had the Western omelette with cheese grits and wheat toast, and it was delicious. My server was super sweet and the environment was very cozy and gave a diner feel. I will be back. I enjoyed everything I had including the energy of the customers and the staff. Decatur where it's greater!
