There are a very few meccas for cocktails in this world. Death & Co is one of them.

Food: 10/10 anything on the menu is good. I rarely say this but literally anything is more than a safe bet it's a must. Only downfall is you will end up spending $200-300 here for one epic date night so make it count. Get dressed and have a good time. This is exactly what a place should be and is worth working hard to make sure you can go regularly. Customer service is amazing: it's a full service bar so literally order anything you want. One of the most underrated and best places in Denver. RUN.

Nice upscale bar located in the Ramble Hotel. But has its own outside entrance.Came here as the last stop of the night in Denver on a Friday night while visiting. There is a hostess out in front. Our party of 3 had to put our name on a list, and wait for a text message before we could get in. It took maybe an hour or a bit less? I guess we needed a resy, opps. (Don't make that mistake unless your ok with waiting a while)Its super cute inside large space. Beautiful chandeliers, leather couches, with lounge tables, and seating scattered all around. Mood lighting of course. And apparently theres an outside patio as well, but I didn't know about it, so I didn't check it out. The cocktail menu is descriptive enough to help filter your choice. It had a fun vibe. I could easily see people gathering here after a business meeting. Or ending up here after a night on the town. I saw folks on dates, and in larger groups. Service - was good. Our bartender Regean was not afraid to look at her notes when we asked questions about the cocktail choices, which was fine by me. I prefer that, over her making it up. Service is on the slower side (as stated in other reviews), but not completely unreasonable. Drinks - are creative and interesting, with a costly price tag. My drink was $21. I had the San Junipero, I enjoyed it. If we were out longer, I would have likely tried another cocktail.

We were walking home as rain started pouring on us, we stumbled inside Death & Co and noticed we never been in there before. My first impression was it was very trendy and upscale. We decided to wait out the rain and enjoy a few cocktails at the bar.Bartender was very knowledgeable when we asked about different cocktails. Much appreciated. We tried the Turf paradise, Lalo Blanco Tequila, Jalapeno, Orange, Cilantro,Agave and also ordered the Late Checkout Probitas with White Rum, Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum, Empirical Spirits Soka, Passion Fruit, Orange, Guava, Allspice. I enjoyed the Turf paradise better than the more aesthetic Late Checkout. It's definitely a nice location but a little overpriced. Cocktails average $20. Good for a cocktail on date night, prob look for something else if hopping.

Death and Co. is one the best bars in the world and has won awards for that very thing. It's simply one the best places to experience Cocktailing at its best. We checked out their Denver location recently when visiting friends and checking out a show at Red Rocks. Their Denver location is in the RiNo (River North) neighborhood near Coors Field. It's a beautiful space and unique from their flagship location in Manhattan and others in DC and LA because it's inside a hotel called the Ramble. It's a boutique hotel offering a beautiful space that is eclectic and refined, but comfortable and welcoming. The staff is well trained and provides exceptional service. The menus are as creative as you'll find and the quality is fantastic. This location is unique because it offers breakfast options with craft coffee and food along with a rooftop bar that has a tiki vibe. The frozen Espresso Martini shown in the photos was enjoyed on the fun rooftop bar while we were waiting for our table. The whiskey cocktail shown in the other photo is called Buddy's Rendezvous. It's Compass Box Blended Scotch, Calvados (apple brandy), Amaro Nonino and Cocchi Rosa. It's a delicious boozy recipe that is well-balanced and smooth. Delicious!!Death & Co. is also known for writing prolific cocktail books which their original is known as the cocktail Bible. They're great gifts if you want to help friends get into cocktailing.

Inside the Ramble Hotel, the Lobby is a beautiful Velvet Couch meets MarbleMeets Chandelier cocktail bar. FYI - it's a coffee shop during the day and if you want a vibe, come here to do work. For big groups - you can do reservations for the bar.

I was looking for a speakeasy bar to check out while out of town. We ended up at Ramble hotel near downtown Denver. This bar is called Death and Co. Street parking available. However, the area did feel sketchy bc there was no street light. This bar is actually in the hotel lobby, we were greeted as we entered, and the host asked if we were guests staying at the hotel? We answered no, and then she directed me to another person at a different podium to put our names down for a waiting list. Bar was full of people, I was quite surprised because nobody was in the street when we arrived. Fancy lobby, high chandeliers, and staff dressed to impress. We sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and learned they have a party room with a bar upstairs. However, it was closed for the evening.

There are enough reviews about how good the drinks are (try the Death of Disco and the Italian lager!), so I wanted to add a quick note about the food. The buttermilk fried chicken has a breading unlike any other fried chicken I've had - forget that classic crackle and crunch, this chicken has a satisfying crumbly, loose breading that sort of disintegrates in your mouth as you chew the chicken. I can't say if this is something the average person would enjoy, but it's definitely worth a try. The hot honey is a good dipping sauce pairing as well. The steak frites is a classic dish done quite well! The fries were perfect to snack on and share, and the steak was well cooked. However, while the chimichurri was a great addition to the steak, it was still a bit underseasoned and we had to ask for additional salt (which instantly elevated the steak, would recommend). The vegetable tempura was also on the better side of shareable plates. Lightly breaded and easily dipped. I couldn't tell what vegetable I was eating, but it was good and didn't matter. No notes. Wait times are a bit finicky as drinking parties can stay quite long, and the space is only oh so big. The atmosphere is quite nice though, and the place is on the classier side of establishments, so it can be worth the wait to relax in a nice speakeasy.

Death and Co is #37 on the ' and I enjoyed every minute of it. The bartenders are excellent, the vibe is cozy, and the food we tried was surprisingly fantastic. We ordered the Roasted Chicken, which was amazing, but you order the Bread & Butter . The bread seemed to be fried, and the whipped honey butter was like icing on the cake.
