Daisy's Diner

First time to visit this restaurant. Had the fried chicken livers, Lima beans and mashed potatoes. Food is incredibly delicious, wait staff was very attentive and observant to our table. Very clean inside. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a home-cooked style meal then this is the place. It's not fancy, but the parking lot is always full and now I know why. My wife and I stopped in for dinner after a ride in the country. We had chicken livers and catfish. Both were EXCELLENT! The livers were not dry or overcooked. The catfish was fresh and flaky. The sides (okra, loaded mashed taters) were as good as the entrees. We took home some banana pudding for dessert. Some of the best we've ever had! The menu had a better-than-average selection of goodies, including some hard-to-find items. Good selection of drinks, but no alcohol. This is a home-style family restaurant. They have a small gift shop in the front that sells country-style home decor, spiritually uplifting items, and patriotic gifts. The restaurant (floor, tables, chairs, windows, silverware, lights) is very clean. The servers are a hard-working bunch. They were always on the move. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often. They are a really friendly bunch too. Bottom line: If you are looking for a nice place to take the family and eat some tasty, wholesome, home-style food you'll not find a better place in a hundred miles! I highly recommend it. Omg! Passing through and we see this diner. It's packed with cars. We passed it at first cause not really hungry, but seeing all the cars...yeah... decided best to turn around. Know what? This is seriously good cooking. Traditional stuff on the menu along with some grandma like treats. Got a burger that was the bomb. Soooo good! Kinda like just perfect! I'm glad we stopped. Otherwise...we'd have missed out. Come here. Eat....enjoy! Pies look awesome but too stuffed to try it!

Great country diner! Love the laid back atmosphere and particularly the fried squash.

Found this diner on our eat way to go camping. Drove up in our RV to a very busy parking lot. Very warm welcome as we walked in. It's a seat yourself type of diner (which are my favorite places to eat). Walked through the small gift shop to get to the dining room. Very friendly staff and some great home country cooking food. I had steak fingers (WOW) that were so good! Grandson had popcorn chicken which he gave a thumbs up, and hubby had a burger that he said was really good. Life's to short so we always have dessert . Bread pudding and key lime pie OH MY! This is one of those diners that we'll definitely make a trip to from Houston.

I've passed this place no telling how many times, and did so again today.When I drove by, I noticed several vehicles, most of them pickup trucks and a few trailers. This is always a good sign for a good place to eat. I turned around, and I'm glad I did !Nothing fancy here, just good old fashioned cooking.The waitress was very friendly and helped me with my decision for lunch.They have daily lunch specials, and today was chicken fried chicken, or beef tips and rice.I went with the chicken, corn, green beans and onion rings.The chicken and onion rings were Great !!I was plenty Full when I left !Again, you can get food anywhere, but if your looking for good food and friendly folk, you've found it !When in Riverside, give them a try.Go get Full

My husband had Daisy's cater a work event today. They had bacon cheeseburgers with ALL the fixings!! I was super jealous until he brought us two burgers home for dinner!!! To say this is the best burger I've ever eaten is an understatement!!! The patty itself was huge!! Nestled on top of a huge sesame seed bun!! The bacon was cooked to perfection and was still crispy! The condiments were so fresh and delicious! Crisp lettuce, bright red tomatoes, onions, and pickles!! There isn't one complaint from me!!! Everything was perfect!!

I have been living in Riverside for over 40 yrs and before this place became Daisys it was an ok place but everyone smoked in the restaurant and even if I smoked I don't smoke when I eat, Daisy made the change, and man was it that a good thing. Their food is a great and good home cook meal with no cigarette smell in the place. Food at a good price made to order. If you are in Huntsville or just driving by it's a must-stop place if you like home cooking.PS The Chicken Mushroom is the best

Prices have gone up a little bit but the food is great as always; I've gone to daisys more than a few times and I've never had bad service. Would recommend 10/10.

I used to come here a lot when I was younger, but the last time I went... I received a really bad chicken, I was supposed to be the sautéed chicken (with buffalo ranch) and it gave me food poisoning... I'm aware that they had about two hours before closed... But please don't rush food, especially chicken. Because me and my boyfriend were both puking and holding ourselves over the toilet all night. It was pretty ig though.
