The people are nice but like the previous reviewer said the wine is pretty bad. The only one that is passable is the Cabernet Sauvignon. Nice backyard too.

The place is cute and customer service was great however the wine is horrible. Unfortunately don't waste your time here. We wanted to love this place because the people were so nice and atmosphere was cool but when it comes down to it the wine was just plain terrible. Sorry :(

I walked in, no one was there. I started looking around, finally someone came from the back on the phone. Didn't acknowledge me standing there... I inquired about a position my neighbor told me about, she proceeded to start texting on her cell phone. I had to ask her to ring up a t-shirt I found while walking around waiting for someone. She (Dee) seemed very annoyed to take my money. I walked out and left the application. If this is how they teach a customer, imagine how they treat their employees... I also had their wine @ The Pasadena Strawberry Festival and i agree with the other 2, their product is pretty bad!

The specialty wines are very Good. i was not much of a wine drinking until i came here. Start with something Fruity then work your way up the ladder. The specialties usually change with the season. The place is very small. So i won't take a large group here. they have a bed and breakfasts if you want to get romantic with your significant other why not her......Go for stroll on the board walk then get some wine....then........well.....make up your story...right here ___________________________________________________________________________________;-)

We've made a number of trips to Galveston lately, and let's face it: no matter where Kelly S and I are going, we're likely to try and find a winery or a brewery. On a recent trip to Galveston, it was the same. We found D'Vine Wine listed in our search and got giddy. We came up on and were as happy as pigs in...well you know. There was a guy out front playing guitar, the patio and backyard looked inviting and slightly rustic, and a decent breeze was in the air. We were ready to camp out with a bottle of wine for a little while. Until...We get inside and see the tastings are pretty pricey. Prices range depending on the type of wine you sample, but I think we paid middle of the road 2 bucks for a plastic, thimble-sized sample. We ask for the sample. The woman behind the bar pours it in the tiny plastic cup and hands it over. And stares at us. So...nothing to say about this one? Must be a real winner. And as expected, it was not very good. We then sample another*, and she pours with no description whatsoever, and we cringe as we sip on this second sample. At this point, we know we'll be moving on, but we browsed anyways as we nursed this second, tiny sample. To our astonishment, they actually have some of the priciest wine we've ever seen at a Texas winery. As we circle back to the bar area, we're greeted with the following:"So, y'all want another sample or something?"...thanks...but no thanks!*If so bad, why the second sample? 1. We're gluttons for wine/beer/punishment. 2. You got one free sample for "liking" them on facebook. We felt guilty about wanting to leave after having just one free sample. I did not, however, feel guilty about "unliking" them later that night.

I am surprised at the negative reviews - we really like the Sauvignon Blanc and the Blackberry Merlot. This shop has won a bunch of awards for several different wines.
