D'Ivo79 Cucina

Miami's D'ivo 79 Cucina has the best Italian cuisine. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor and freshness. Ivo, the chef, is a warm gentleman, and Katarina, our waitress, was great and provided an excellent wine choice and service. Oh, yeah, there is plenty of free parking.

I am old enough to remember when Miami had a bunch of art parties in Wynwood and places that were open late not just closing the kitchen at 9pm. Gentrification and other things happened and no places seem to close too early. Well forget all that! A lot of the galleries - and late night calories - have moved to the Little River arts district next to the railroad tracks and NE 70th Street, and you can find a cool artsy pizza place here as well.A friend invited me to an art show in the area recently, and the sips and art we're making us hungry. D'Ivo79 is located in the same complex of galleries, and we decided to pop in. The hostess welcomed us even though it was close to closing time (after 1030) and wasn't rushing us out the door. The interior was cozy and dimly lit, and has art as well - a lot of paintings of soccer starts, mostly the great Maradona. From what I understand , they also have live music.My friend and I stuck to the comfort classics. We shared a very fresh caprese salad with basil, salty prosciutto and creamy mozzarella. Our main dish was their "DOLCE PICANTE" pie. The dates, honey and almonds balanced nicely with the tangy Gorgonzola and pleasantly hot Calabrian chili oil.Definitely a find, go check them out!

Divo79 is my favorite date night spot. Amazing food, good service, and great prices! We visited them a couple of months ago and ordered a bottle of Malbec, it was delicious! And the bottle was around $40. Then we went directly for the entrees, my boyfriend ordered the Tagliolini Bolognese, that's his favorite bolognese in Miami and the amount of meat that bolognese has is surprising! I had the Cheese Ravioli Pomodoro from their evening specials board. They have a board with all the specials of the night and lately, I've been ordering from there to try something different off the menu. I was expecting a maximum of 4-5 ravioli... I got like 12-15. I was super surprised. I feel like in Miami when you order ravioli is a very small portion of ravioli that you usually get so I was truly surprised and happy because that pomodoro sauce is truly delicious and the ravioli were cooked to perfection! For dessert, we ordered the Crème Brûlée which was good, and the Panacota which is my favorite there! Our server is nice and, Italian so sometimes might look a little different from the Latino server in Miami but she is great and the best for recommendations!

Great food, ambiance, service and of course food. The prices make it feel like an even bigger one. My friends are % going back for lunch and dinner. A definite recommend for anyone on a budget or looking for a good bite.

This place is an amazing hidden gem! A great spot for lunch or dinner! It's a bit hidden away in a parking lot..but there's always free parking. The chef is from Italy, so the food is genuine quality! I work right in the area and come here often, and never get bored or the menu. They are always adding fresh daily specials. The fresh pasta, quiche, Branzino are all amazing! They also have delicious soups.Oscar is always so kind, always great service here Highly recommend this restaurant!

Hidden gem in little Haiti/little river that you got to try. Feels like family as the owner cooks in open area. Quaint unpretentious and great vibe - in the middle of nowhere. Gotta make the trek!
