Great food choices, quick service and great patio seats. We've returned several times during our 6 days stay at Trump International across the street.

Food is very good but rude waitresses ruin the experience. They speak Russian and giggling between each others pointing to the customers. It's not type of service a nice restaurant should be tolerating

7 years later this place is still bustling with activity on a Friday night. With very popular outside bar seating and patio seating overlooking the parking lot may be the best ambiance in town it is still outside on a beautiful night in South Florida in March. We were able to secure a table outside as the Manager / Host James was very nice & we chatted about the place & their new Italian place next door H2O. Once the table was ready our server Elise took great care of us all night making recommendations on the menu, sides ETC. We were not starving so we decided to split the 16-ounce NY Strip with a Loaded Baked Potato & fresh cut fries. A generous pour on a glass of house wines were appreciated. The bread was a crusty sourdough that was truly top shelf. Butter along with Olive oil was offered. The Steak arrived timely, and it was absolutely perfect. A nice char with solid seasonings cooked to perfection. The Baked potato was good, but the fresh cut fries were the winner of the 2 sides. There was a steak sauce presented on the side, take note this steak DID NOT NEED any sauce in fact it would take away from its goodness. No coffee but we did try the homemade Lava Cake with Ice cream that really was outstanding as well. The owner Dave stopped by to make sure that everything was going well, and we promised to give his Italian place next door a try in the future. Really impressed as it was on par with price points high end places in the area but certainly delivered on all aspects.

Was hesitant to dine at Cut 38 based on the mixed reviews. A lot of the reviews reflected poor service. I dined on a Sunday early evening during the summer. It was slow and I grabbed a spot at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and attentive to my friends and me. Cocktails were on point. I started with a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and ended with a Tito's espresso martini. 5 stars for the bartender and her service. What was average was the food. The bourbon onion rings were fantastic....extra large, crispy, cooked golden brown. A savory dip came with it and the bartender also brought a sweet dip. The Thai steak noodle salad lacked flavor, noodles, streak and mangos. It was mostly lettuce that needed more dressing. It was average at best. Houston's still has the best Thai steak noodle salad. I will go again for the onion rings and drinks.

The food is wonderful but this restaurant implemented a $7 sharing charge without putting it on the menu. We only found about it when we were paying the bill after going to this restaurant for quite some time. They refused to count one of our orders which was a salad and was one of our meals, claiming that in order to avoid a service charge, both parties are required to order an entree. When we informed them that it is unreasonable to require people to order more than they want for lunch, we were told that they're sorry but this is the rule. This along with being charged extra for using a credit card was a true turnoff and will deter me from frequenting this restaurant as often as I had prior to this.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL. This was the FIRST and LAST time I will set foot in this joke of a restaurant. From the second I sat down, the bartender gave me nothing but attitude. I wasn't even served water until I had to ask for it, and when I requested a lemon, I had to wait over 10 minutes after asking another waitress! I went for lunch with a coworker on a Thursday, and 20 minutes after I started eating my food, I needed to use my work laptop for 10 minutes. The bartender rudely informed me that I couldn't use it. I asked to be moved to a regular table, but she said I wasn't allowed to use my laptop anywhere in the restaurant--something I've NEVER heard of before. As if that wasn't enough, just as I was about to finish my lunch, the manager came over and told me I couldn't share a single bite of my food with my coworker because, apparently, "IT'S NOT ALLOWED." Seriously?At this point, I was fed up, asked for the check, and left. But the nightmare didn't end there. As I was walking out, the manager stopped me to inform me that I was banned from ever coming back--all because I shared a bite of my food and used my laptop.This place is a joke, and the staff is absolutely ridiculous. I regret not going to my usual spot, Baires across the street.

The food, service , and ambiance are top shelf. Dave is such an amazing host as he makes all guests feel like family. The ribs, scallops , and ahi tuna are scrumptious. Run, don't walk to Cut 38. You won't be disappointed. Their wine list is also a home run!

My name is Stan and I will never visit this restaurant again. The dress code policy and no children under 13 years old starts at 5pm. Four of us vent for lunch at 1pm. It was a hot day, my friend was wearing a sleeveless shirt and we were sitting outside. Gentlemen came to our table, introduced himself as a manager an in very disrespectful manner asked us to leave. He was yelling and screaming at us. He even sad if we don't leave he will call police to escorts us out just because my friend was wearing sleeveless shirt. We were there with our wife 's and we are seniors citizens. I never felt that bad....... a front of my wife and the public. Who ever came with us/after follow us and left the place. Please wear 3 piece suit and tie for lunch or manager will ask you to leave in very disrespectful way. 90 degrees outside, beach across the street, special lunch menu and dress code. I will never recommend this restaurant.

I'm visiting Sunny Isles FL. Cut 38 restaurant was right across the street from my hotel. I came to the patio and sit down at the table. I observed two elderly couple sitting in the corner being greeted with a curt attitude and a lack of basic courtesy by the restaurant employee. Later I learned that it was about dress cod during the lunch hour at the restaurant located by the beach. Two couples was asked to leave and I left on my own. Not a friendly place to eat.

Burgers being my favorite food of them all, I have to say Cut 38 is absolutely amazing at cooking them! Tetiana was very friendly making us feel relaxed and valued. The manager made sure we are well taken cared off in our experience. You have to give this a try!
