My food was excellentThe music was great. Service was on point. My drink was tastyThey accommodated me because I did not have a reservation. Got there before I get crowded.

Went on a Friday at 1 pm, and it was empty in there. However, the service was terrible, and they charged you a 15% gratituity fee, which I was not aware of at the end.It took 20 mins for the waitress to bring our drink from the bar. They didn't start it until 5mins before bringing it over. You couldn't taste the liquor in it. I had the uncle Willy's whiskey sour. The presentation was nice, and it had a great smokey smell.If you come before 2 pm, you have to order off the brunch and / or appetizer menu. I did not see anything about that on their site and / or any sign when you arrive. This messed up what I wanted.I was forced to order the wings , and the presentation was nice and was okay, and the eggrolls. The waitress had the bill wrong, and it took forever her to give us the bill. It appeared that was the same situation before we left. Would I return?NOPE! Would I recommend it? NOPE!Now, if you want to do a happy hour for cheap, go for it, they did post happy hour menus after 4 pm, but you might wait forever for anything because I'm not sure how you get poor service with 4ppl in there.Went at 1pm, and it wasn't

It appears nice from the outside but there was food on the sidewalk which was gross. Inside seemed nice until we got this RBF hostess to seat us and said Yay would be serving us this evening. Yay started off good greeting us took our drink and app order. We ordered the southwest egg rolls and was thinking wow our app came before our drinks. That's different. The egg rolls were tasty and the flavored lemonade could have been a bit sweeter. I asked the Yay for some napkins and never brought them out. She went and sat with the customer in front of us for a while. I had to walk up to the bar to get the napkins myself. We also ordered the fried chicken wing meal with Mac and cheese and the stuffing with gravy and cranberry sauce. Husband ordered the same except he opted for the collards instead of the Mac and cheese with a side order of the cornbread muffin. The food came and looked delicious. Yay then came back with plastic utensils in a bag. Wow so y'all don't have real silverware??!! What ever maybe they are on a budget. Our stuffing was supposed to come with gravy and it didn't. I had to ask for it. I also asked for Tabasco she brings back Louisiana. Yay said this what folks called Tabasco. I tried to explain that Tabasco was Tabasco she's like the kind you get at Chipotle. I'm saying to myself lady I don't eat at places like that I don't know what they serve over there. I told her forget it. It took us a good 10 mins to get the gravy to go with the stuffing and that came cold. Everything was tasty the cornbread muffin was hard as a rock. We may come back just for the food as a takeout but the not a good ambiance for the price they charge and tasty food they serve. Staff is very important as well in this business. Having a smiling face greeting you and attentive waitresses and waiters that aren't sitting down most of the time to talk to folks would attract more people. A clean entrance is a must. Another birthday celebration! We were a party of 6 plus a baby. We were seated immediately which was a plus. The inside decor is simple but nice. There's a beautiful water feature on the patio! Our waitress never shared her name but she was honest about our food selections. It was happy hour so the birthday girl and I ordered a drink. She seemed to like hers but I never received mine. The menu is vast and I had a hard time making a decision. I ordered my namesake dish, the Nikki Chicken. Our food finally arrived an hour after being seated and it was delicious! The Nikki chicken did not disappoint, the yams weren't overly sweet, and the dressing was Thanksgiving table worthy! At the conclusion of our meal we needed to go containers which we received timely but we had to wait a long time for our bill. I thought I took pictures of our food, but I was too hungry and then in a hurry to get home to prep for work the next day. I will return, the food is that good!!!

Came for a karaoke night with my friend and had SUCHHHH a good time! The Emcees/DJs were great, the food was delicious (but took SO LONG to come out, hence the -1). Ultimately a time was HAD.If you're in a rush to get your food/go, this may not be the place for you. But if you have time to kill and want to visit with friends/family, I'd definitely say give this place a try!

Great . Service was a 8 out of 10. Bar Good parking. We will return. We had Ribeyes and lemon drops.

We (my husband and I) took my mama-n-law here for her belated bday celebration, 2 weekends ago. I must say we LOVED it! We went on a Sat. night and unbeknownst to us, this was the night for Karaoke! We were shocked, but in for a good surprise! Although it was packed, and we needed reservations, we were still able to be seated within 10 minutes! Our waitress was attentive, busy, but attentive. We did wait a while before we got our food, but it was expected b/c it was crowded, and we didn't have reservations. Not a biggie! When I tell you it was well worth the wait! The food was "bussn"! I ordered the cajun chicken alfredo. The only neg. thing I have to say about it is, that I wish it wasn't spaghetti noodles..not used to that at all! But it was a good taste though. My mama-n-law got the fried chicken that she said was great! My husband had the fried catfish and he said it was great also. Oh, I almost forgot, I got the salmon bites as an appetizer. They were a bit over-cooked but was seasoned well! I prob. will try again just to see if they will be cooked better. Highly recommended! But please do yourself a solid and make reservations especially if you're going on a Saturday!

I would like to personally thank the owner and the entire staff at Culturistic Kitchen. We had our sorority event there today and everything was extremely nice, food was great, and the service was spot on. We will definitely be back for another event.
