We love Culinary Dropout! We stopped here for lunch in Denver before heading up to Steamboat. We visited during lunchtime on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty (though it is a very large space) so we were able to grab a table easily. We've dined at Culinary Dropout in Arizona, so we have a few menu items we love, including the pretzel bites - so good! And I love that they are served with a candle under the cheese so it stays warm. I went with the crispy shrimp caesar salad. This was so good, and the perfect size for lunch. I left feeling perfectly full. Our server was wonderful - I didn't catch his name but he was so friendly and checked in on us frequently. Another great experience at Culinary Dropout!

Stopped by for a quick work lunch. Service was pretty lackluster as the waiter didn't once refill our water, didn't offer to take our plates when we were clearly done, and the waiter had a strange vibe. Food was good though, had the pizza this time and it was bomb. Strange how the food gets smaller and the prices keep going up...

Yesterday, my family and I decided to try out a new restaurant based on its positive Yelp reviews. However, our experience was not as great as we had hoped. When we were seated, we noticed that the menus were dirty, and we had to fetch our utensils from another table. My salad with salmon and balsamic vinaigrette dressing was served without the salmon, and my mother's salad with Caesar dressing was not served with the requested ranch on the side. My husband's meal was also served cold, and the biscuits were hard with unmelted butter.Despite the restaurant not being too busy, the service fell short of our expectations. The server did apologize for the issues and offered to adjust our bill, but it was clear that there was a breakdown in communication between the kitchen and the servers. Additionally, we noticed that both men's bathroom stall locks were not functioning properly. While the food was decent, the overall dining experience did not live up to the higher prices at the restaurant.

What a fun spot! I came here with some friends after seeing a movie and had a wonderful time! The host Grace was very sweet and the server was also very helpful in helping my group decide what we wanted to order. We all loved our salads that we got and split the monkey bread for dessert! Highly recommend!

Nice place, just over priced for the portions and quality. Service was pleasant and attentive.Fried chicken: the drum stick was puny with little meat on it, thigh was small as well. Is served with seemingly 1/3 cup of mashed potatoes and same sized serving of supper sweet slaw. The biscuit it was served with was small but tasted amazing!! Overall, this wasn't worth the $20+ I paid36 hour ribs: sweet sauced and not savory. We're from Texas so to us, these ribs were a miss. Paid for it but didn't eat itFish and chips: was honestly something you could get from any restaurant. Nothing special Kids Burger: may have been better off getting this for myself lol. Could've used more fries though but since the Ribs came with fries, we let him have them Pork belly nachos: absolute best part! If I ever go back, that's what I'll get. I recommend it to share

Awesome spot to grab brunch, dinner, or have drinks out! This place has a great atmosphere - very clean, and awesome indoor and outdoor seating options. Came for brunch on a Sunday and they had a live guitarist too - great vibes here! I ordered a prime rib sandwich, which was very good. Fries were cooked to perfection as well. Others in my group had breakfast pizza, which comes in a Detroit Style, and a chicken bowl. Everybody loved what they had. Overall, just had a very good experience and a good time here! Would definitely recommend and return.

Such a wonderful find!!Landed in Denver and was quite hungry. After searching around a tad we decided to go with Culinary dropout. Quite a comical name if you ask me ;) And I can say that well, for a dropout this place makes some pretty darn good dishes!First impressions are quite incredible! I mean whoever did the interior decorating is insanely talented! One of the first things to catch your eye is the Converse wall that is literally covering half of the restaurant! A very unique and fun touch. All of the ones in the wall are different so it's fun to go up and look at them. A great excuse to do this is use of one of the lovely bathrooms! Another thing is that this place is HUGE! You can fit about 5 regular sized dining rooms in the inside alone! And on top of that, there is an outdoor dining area!Initially we decided to eat outside. The area out there is also quite lovely. The large area is open and airy but had a roof covering so the sun isn't beating down on you. And on top of that, tere is a fun area that has cornhole and other yard games. Great for kids and adults alike! After sitting outside for a bit we decided that we couldn't take the heat and asked if we could move inside. Our hostess who seated us even told us that if we need to move that was totally fine and just to let them know. And our waiter was so kind and understanding and got us moved right away! As far as the food goes, this spot provides a nice variety of options. I loved the build your own charcuterie board idea for their antipasti selection! Our party decided to share a few dishes and ended up ordering the pretzels and provolone fondue, shredded beef dip, and a chopped chicken salad. The pretzels and fondue comes with a nice amount of food. We shared it among the four of us but I feel like you could probably split it between 5 or 6 people if you're having it as an tapa. The pretzels were delicious! Perfectly crusty on the outside and perfectly soft and chewy on the inside. I do wish they were served warm though. Unfortunately I didn't think the fondu was all that great. It didn't really taste like provolone to me. The shredded beef dip was also quite good! This one could easily be eaten by yourself or spit between two people. I enjoyed the cheese on there and the meat was tender and flavorful! I do feel like it could have come with some more fry's though! ;)The chopped chicken salad was quite the bite! I personally adore creamy salads and this one was just that! The cheese and dressing were so good and so flavorful! And the bacon was super crispy! The chicken was wonderfully seasoned. And the deviled egg was a fun touch. All staff were positively delightful! Especially our server Justin! I think this place is definitely where you want to be! I would return! :)

I wanted to try out happy hour here with one of my best friends, and we had a great time. The staff was great, and the food during happy hour was super fairly priced. The restaurant is pretty huge, with nice big windows for natural lighting, as well as some indoor/outdoor seating. The decor on the walls is classic and fun as well.We ordered bbq pork belly nachos which were huge and delicious and had plenty of toppings, along with their wagyu pigs in a blanket. Of course, we also got a few drinks, which were delicious as well. We ended with a yummy dessert of fried and soft serve, which was cheap and delicious. As far as pricing goes, we were impressed - usually, our happy hour bills run $20-$40 higher. We'll be back.

We'd been wanting to try this place for a while and decided on dinner before a movie at the nearby theatre. We ordered the pretzel bites w/fondue dip to begin with. The cheese came out in a small Staub cast iron pot and pedestal set warmed by a tea light. Was pretty good, except my critique would be to warm the pot first, so that the cheese is warm, then use the tealight to maintain the temp. We did the pasta bolognese, which was pretty standard but a tad saltier than we we used to, which was kind of nice. Life is too short to pay good money for bland food, which brings me to the Peking Duck and Shrimp Fried Rice . Bruh. The spices used to make the Peking Duck elevated the dish. I wish I took a better picture and I'm surprised there aren't more because that entree is super good. I was actually sitting there checking Yelp for the entree reviews and just decided to take the plunge. Glad I did. The service was also good and there was a band playing covers. Honestly, get here while it's warm outside because the ambiance outside is great. But that's what Denver does, great ambiance and most of the time the food is "eh". That was not the case here and it hinged on the fried rice TBH. We'll be back to taste the other entrees at a later date.
