Our first stop in Florida and it had to be little Havana! It was just after 10 p.m. so the night life was just getting started. Super small and cute place with outstanding live music, delicious food, and yummy cocktails. The cigar shop next door was just as active as the restaurant, and you can order a cigar while you enjoy your dinner and cocktails. The restaurant itself was super small inside, so they had many tables outside for everyone. The Mexican in me was missing the spicy salsa or sauce to accompany the food. But it was good nonetheless. The people are all dressed to impress and living their best life. It was so fun to experience, and I enjoyed watching everyone dancing and having fun. The music is LOUD, but I love the culture, so it didn't bother me. Great experience!

Located in Little Havana right on the Main Street of the area, this is one of the most recommended spots to visit. It's a popular tourist spot and a stop for guided tours, so it definitely gets busy! The restaurant is cute inside. Very eclectic and bright. Not a ton of seating, but they have outdoor seating as well. It was a bit loud, but we were ok. We ordered pina colada, croquets & a Cuban sandwich! The pina colada had cinnamon, which my husband loved, but I didn't care for - the croquets, however, were delicious! My husband loved the Cuban and the "fries" are reminiscent of Pik'nik chips of our childhood. Definitely glad we stopped in to try it.

was really hungry on a humid friday afternoon and found cubata! we ordered Pulpo A La Gallega (sliced octopus), Croquetas, and Arroz marinero.the sliced octopus was saur chewy and flavorful and delicious ugh chef's kiss... the croquetas were so good too and it came with like 4 different kinds! only downside was that both were more on the oily/ greasy side. the seafood rice dish was packed with seasonings i loved her but i do wish it was a bigger dish! lots of live music and dance outside with very touristy things to do around! everyone is so nice.

What a super cute little restaurant in little Havana!Reservations are pretty much required unless you want to sit outside. Our server was really sweet. We started with drinks because it was happy hour. I was not impressed by the drinks - I got the mojito and it didn't have much mint flavor. The food was delicious. The Ceviche De Corvina was so fresh and tender, perfectly paired with the chips, I just wish there was more chips. The Pulpo A La Gallega was also delicious. I had never had anything like it before but the flavor balance was yummy. The Croquetas were good, would not get it again though. Also got the Cuban Sandwich with tuna. The bread was so soft. AThe fillings were a perfect balance. Every bite was yummy.

The service and food were 5/5. The only thing we would suggest to better the experience and ambiance is to play latin music instead of pop as it didn't gave little havana vibes. The drinks were pretty good. Refreshing and cold perfect for a hot Miami day. We tried the meat and cheese for the table, tostone con vaca frita and croquetas de bacalao. My mom loved the croquettes so much I didn't get to taste it but according to my sister and mother they were delicious. I personally loved the tostone con vaca frita as it was fried to perfection and meat was well seasoned. Great find in calle ocho with outdoor seating perfect to enjoy delicious food and people watch.

Overall, this establishment has potential and a nice atmosphere, and I may consider giving it another try, but my initial visit was marred by lackluster service. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, it took nearly 20 minutes for the waiter to attend to our table, which set a disappointing tone for the evening. The Sangria, while pleasant, leaned too sweet for my palate, and the octopus was regrettably overcooked and overly chewy. On the positive side, the fried garbanzo and chorizo were quite enjoyable, though admittedly, it's difficult to go wrong with such a simple dish. I hope that future visits offer a more refined experience.

Cubata is always a great option! With live music and happy hour from 4-8 pm. We like to stop to get some bites and drinks when we are around Calle 8. Whether you sit inside or outside, it's always a great vibe! We started with a Mojito and an Aperol Spritz. Both drinks were great! We then ordered the Manchego Cheese which is delicious there, a tortilla española which has the perfect texture and temperature, and some Spanish olives. Everything was delicious! Service is okay, sometimes when they are too busy, they definitely need a couple more people. But if you go early, before 6 pm, the service is better because it's not that busy.

Love their tiles. Will return for the location, ambiance and food. The location is great, in the heart of little Savanna. The small plates are good too: - mashed potato - ceviche - autopsy Their house wines are decent and glasses are good too, not high end tho. The service isn't bad until the bill time. The service charge is included and the staff is pretty sneaky about it.

Don't go unless you like to be ignored. Our party ordered sandwiches, they each came at different times. It's not that complicated to make ham/cheese sandwiches. We were never checked on and we had to refill our own water from the bar. Insult to injury, they automatically charged 18% tip without an opportunity to pay what we felt the dinner deserved. Boring food(matchstick potatoes from smart and final) and poor service.
