Crazy Dragon & Tavern

Let's start with the food, they don't offer substitutions but I asked for the chips to be left off completely and was told that's not possible. Okay, grrrrr, moving on. The server was not the most polite and didn't listen when I asked for no ice in my drink. Okay, let's say something positive, the restaurant itself was very nice. I loved the lights and the dragon theme.

We made plans to go see an earlier movie and then decided to go later. After that decision we were hungry and wanted dinner. I remembered the revamp of Palace Point, and now there was an actual restaurant. The croissants were a pleasant surprise and totally amazing! Everything we got was delicious! We got the Blazin' Chicken sandwich, Strawberry salad, and Nachos at our table. Noting the nachos had bacon, which sets them apart from most nachos. The Mac and Cheese is more of a white Cheddar and is creamy deliciousness. Salad was a good-sized portion. Our server was fairly new, but she was very attentive and took good care of us. Love the castle like dark with dim sparking light ambiance. Highly recommend for a quick bite before a movie, skating or bowling.

The food is pretty good, and I'll say the idea at this tavern is really cool. The execution leaves a lot to be desired... the staff was not attentive and after waiting for 20 minutes we had to flag them down to take our order. The place was pretty much empty, so I see no reason this was the case. They also completely forgot about one of our entrees and then the staff was nowhere to be found for over 30 minutes. Maybe this was a bad day, but I won't be trying them again.Response to Janelle: I understand how that can go - we will consider this establishment again next time we are in the area. I'll also say that we were given some reimbursement for the late food, which I appreciated.

Mya was our waitress and she was excellent! Service with a smile is a rare thing these days. The burger and cheesesteak we ordered were both excellent and a much higher quality than many other restaurants in the area! We also truly loved the ambience of the lanterns, it added to the whole feeling of being in a "fantasy" tavern. Really a cool vibe that can't be described, only seen-- it's Better in Person!

My husband and I wanted to get an appetizer before going to our movie. This was our first time eating here since the diner was transformed into a restaurant. The menu is full of great choices. Our server, Kirsten, greeted us immediately, and brought us two warm croissants with some kind of honey butter drizzled on top before we ordered. They were delicious! We will definitely be coming back with friends when we have more time. Our nachos were hot and served quickly. We also found out that we can order food from the restaurant and take it with us into the movie if we place a to-go order. Just make sure you allow plenty of time for your food to be cooked.

Great food and service! Chicken Alfredo (believe it was called dragon alfredo ) was delicious!

Bacon cheeseburger was awesome. Dripping with bacon, not the usual 1 or 2 pieces. Never gave a 5 to a burger joint before.
