Crab Du Jour - Philadelphia

I think I ordered Crab Du jour every weekend when I was pregnant. I really love the crab legs and lobster with the crab du jour special sauce. I typically get medium or spicy for that extra kick! The family catch is a great deal which includes steamy fresh potatoes. I even save leftovers for the next day and heat the shrimp and sauce up on the stove and pour over some grits for shrimp and grits! I typically get to go, but have dined in a couple times as well. Service is great, they are never too busy and the drinks are a nice bonus as not all crab du jours offer a bar!

This location is by far the best (quality of food and price for what you get) one in Philly. The seafood boil is always on point but the appetizers really hit different. I eat here at least once a week. I generally get the seafood boil).The seafood is ALWAYS FRESH. The portions are enough for more than one meal. Staff members are always kind and friendly. The establishment is clean,(no seafood smell). FYI: They also have a BAR.

I've had food from Crab Du Jour a couple of times and it has been good every time. I've had calamari, Cajun seasoned fries, hush puppies, and the fried shrimp po'boy. The fried shrimp po'boy has nice big shrimp and soft bread. It tastes really good. I have never had a seafood boil, but will try one next time. The bartender was friendly and made good drinks. The prices are also good for the amount of food and the taste.

Ordered Crab Du Jour on DoorDash last night for NYE. I would say that it's a decent spot that can fulfill your seafood desires.We ordered a good amount of seafood and I think it was reasonably priced. The food we tried: crab meat fries - I reheated it in my air fryer with white sharp cheese on top (so freaking good; you should try it), snow crab legs (2 cluster) w/ potato & corn (Cajun & mild) - was pretty good. Dungeness crabs (2 cluster) green mussel, shrimp (head-off) w/ potatoes & corn (du jour special & medium) - nice kick/flavorful. We made our own special dipping butter too. It would be nice if they could send melted butter with the delivery.Everything was bagged and packaged well. It came with the seafood bibs, gloves, and plastic forks. I would definitely eat here again!

Top knotch service. Turquoise is the best server and bartender. She's your new favorite color. Food is authentic, fresh and high quality. Come early for a spot.

theyre service might be quick but steal money and put things on the list you didnt order and you can't get refund

please only go in person! i've had this delivered and the food is always old & over cooked (pics attached). in person...the food is bangin! super salty, you will literally dry your insides out but it's so worth it. if you're from the dmv and are looking for a good boil, crab du jour will do the job. the music is obnoxiously loud, it is impossible to not feel like you're at the club sometimes. i hate it but others seem to love it. the bartender is very sweet, i didn't like my drink though, not her fault.

I ordered 2 clusters of crab legs from there and one was completely black and rotten. They charge a premium price for their crab to give rotten food. I called and the manager was completely rude. He said that their food comes from Cisco so he knows it won't make me sick?? That still doesn't make it ok to serve rotten food. You can see pictures below that this is a pattern here. Do not order from this place unless you want to get sick!!!

Sorry I didn't take a picture before returning my order. I ordered Crab Cake Basket/ Sliders, not a pinch of Crab Meat, when I returned my order with only a corner piece missing I was told because a piece was missing I could only get 50 % of my refund. I was also told the sliders consist of vegetable and something not directly associated to its title - I should've received all of my money, beware.
