County Seat Sports Grille

We went for a late lunch today. all in all it was good. We sat ourselves and the server approached us immediately asking what we wanted for drinks. They checked in on us and we ended up ordering. The food did take a little more time than we thought it would to come out. When it did it looked great. I got the Philly cheese steak and the person I was with got a trio appetizer plate. Hers was on a large pretzel with fries, fried cheese, and fried pickles . It came with a beer cheese and a marinara sauce. All in all it was a good experience. We were out of drinks and it took a while for the server to come check and refill .

Heck, I wasn't used to the small town bars but county seat has good greasy food, sports games on, and the prices for drinks/food are more than fair! Service is hit or miss but we like to sit in the bar. Had to update the review because I have been back a few times now

Went in for wings. Best wing I have had. Probably since 2000. Nice and meaty, not fatty, and the sauce was amazing. I got traditional and my GF got boneless. We both cleaned the plate. The French onion soup was good, presentation was poor but the flavor was correct.

I hate to give a local joint a bad review, but I almost feel obligated to warn people away. Cute on the outside, great location, but a total disaster inside. Dingy and grimy wouldn't even begin to describe the state of the place. And our service was just plain bad. Menu was unimpressive, food was actually decent, no complaints there. But it took almost 40 minutes to come out during a weekday lunch, server forgot our appetizer and offered no apologies about the wait. When the food finally arrived we were so swarmed by flies (inside, I wish I was kidding) that we could barely manage to eat. When we complained to the server she brought a fly shooing device, so obviously this is a problem they are aware of. All in all just really gross, honestly. I wish we had walked out when we got an eye full of the place. 2 stars for the sake of the decent food. Other than that, bad.

I don't do reviews. I've been going to this place since it opened. Used to be a go to for me and my friends. Stop by tonight just to get a beer and a couple of appetizers. 7 PM. Everybody at the bar is drunk and belligerent. Four bartenders behind the bar and random people in and out from behind the bar. Got the menu. It was on a sheet of paper like notebook paper drank my beer and left never to return. Very disappointed in the downfall of this establishment. Very sad.

Food is good but sometimes hit or miss. Friendly staff. Daily specials are great! Definitely recommend.

Its tough to have a bad meal at this place! THey have a great selection of freshly made entrees and salads.The chicken quesadilla is amazing. Filled with chicken and cheese, and the tortilla grilled with a perfect char.Their freshly brewed Unsweetened iced tea is delicious.The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I've been here solo and with a group and the service never wavers.I get carry out if driving through Lillington or stop in with my job takes me there. It's my go to! And now they service breakfast, beginning at 7:30 am.Yum!

Went here for lunch to support our small businesses. We sat in bar area and was served by Amy. She was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was really good as we had fried shrimp and mozzarella sticks for appetizers and chicken tenders, club sandwich and half pound hamburger for main lunch. Amy was quick in getting us food and drinks, even when it started getting busy with more lunch patrons. They had alot of TV's and it was a relaxing atmosphere. We will return and encourage others to give it a try.

Have eaten here a few times. The food is so good. My fave is the club sandwich. I'm really good at making these at home but theirs are so much better!

This was our first and last visit. The outside is so cute in the downtown area and we've been wanting to stop and give it a try. We stopped at 6:30 on a Friday night and they seemed to be out of everything....fried pickles, pulled pork nachos, spinach dip, baked potato...it's easier to ask what they actually do have on the menu. We had wings and a cheesesteak - the food was decent but the service wasn't great either. Our bill was wrong as we were charged for an item we didn't receive. Wouldn't recommend stopping here.
