"The only sad thing about tonight was we did not capture any pictures of our delicious food. Made a reservation for Christmas Eve and was immediately sat when we came in. Fast service from the kitchen and amazing service fromBailey. We ordered drinks, appetizers, main courses and dessert. Bailey was knowledgeable about the entire menu. We did not have to ask for anything because she asked or brought before we could even want! Restaurant was decorated very nice for the holidays. If you stop in ask for Bailey and try the fried alligator with a side of ranch for the crispy bed of onions and the crawfish etouffee with a little extra spice.Thank you Bailey and Landry's for a great night!"

"First, let me start off by saying the place looked and smelled clean. No longer was it the dirty smelling, sticky floored place of my childhood. Big plus. Not so much of a plus, the lighting situation. But let me get to the food. Service, was great. Our waitress was sweet, quick, checked on us often. Loved the service. But let me tell you what I didn't love. The food. Least favorite, the baked potato. It's a potato wrapped in foil, tossed in an oven I assume and brought to table in said foil. Poke a few holes, season the outside..do something more with it! It was a depressing bite. The chicken fried steak was bland and an incredibly small portion for the price. Looked like a frozen piece of meat that was heated and served with goopy thick gravy that may have been sitting out for a bit (mind you we were there about noon). Also, can the restaurant explain their chicken tender policy? A kids meal is 8 bucks and comes with a single tender. So I figured, you know let me order the adult tender meal for my 2 Littles to split...it's literally $17 for 2 tenders and a handful of fries!? What? Also why are the fries seasoned better than the chicken or chicken fried steak??The steak and shrimp, incredibly pricey but not as flavorful as other steakhouses. The shrimp were cooked well but again, no seasoning. I will say the tartar sauce was delicious. I'm also glad the green goddess salad dressing recipe is the same from my childhood. The salad though...mostly the overly crunchy thick white cuts from the lettuce. No actual leafiness. It also leaves a lot of water in the salad bowl, which wasnt very appetizing. Overall, it felt like a nostalgic visit that left me questioning my childhood memories. I remember visiting this restaurant with family for every special occasion but now, I don't think I could ever return."
"Great view of ocean with live music and friendly staff. Had a great time and also had some drinks."
"Such a fun, lively restaurant with good food and friendly service. The inside is decorated like a western town. There's several stations to get buffet items such as bbq, veggies, salad, dessert, and sides. The food tastes fresh and good and the staff seems to be checking and refilling it all the time. It's also a very busy place - we went on a weekend for lunch! The prices was super reasonable. They also have hilarious Christian tshirts for sale. Such a fun place that I know I'll visit again."
"Great service and great food. My wife and I went there for our anniversary. It was well worth it."
"Took my parents here for dinner because I wanted to treat them out. The food here was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the 8oz and 10oz medium-rare filet mignon and the steak was cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender that it basically melts in your mouth. The baked potato was to die for. We also got the lobster risotto, which was one of the creamiest risotto I ever had. Great infusion of lobster flavor as well. They also did not cop out on the amount of lobster in the risotto. We finished the dinner off with pecan pie along with cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. My mom also ordered the seafood salad and let's just say they were also very generous with the portion of seafood in her salad. Overall, each dish was pricy (but reasonable for a mid upper scale steakhouse), but the portion sizes were excellent. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a upper scale dinner relative to what you normally eat. Parking was super easy. The restaurant is located in a parking lot with plenty of parking spaces."
"Terrific food, I have been coming here since I was a young boy with my family and now bring business clients. Not only great steak but also great salads, appetizers and the staff is beyond wonderful. Great experience."
"I don't come here often. When we do, we know to expect a large check at the end. However, we've never left disappointed. The ambiance is calm and relaxing. The tables were somewhat cramped together. I came with a large group of friends. Our server was very attentive. He made sure I was content with my special unique cocktail order. I especially loved the pianist music softly playing in the background. Our food was great."
"This is one of our favorite places to eat when we visit Corpus Christi Texas. Today we ordered off the regular menu (not lunch or breakfast) so the price was a little on the high side but the food was great! The wife and I shared some fried shrimp and Maryland crab cakes which were both delicious! We had the best waitress, Elaine I believe was her name, and she was from Greece which made her personality perfect for the occasion. The restaurant itself isn't fancy but it is clean and tidy with nice restrooms and easy parking. I strongly recommend eating at this establishment and enjoying some great cooking!"
"They a very yummy chicken fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans!! Service is great and attentive, and the ambiance is chill and relaxed! A good go to for delicious food!"
"Food was very good, highly recommend the ahi tuna for an app. Drinks were great, ordered an old fashioned, very well done. Got the two 4 oz filets over mushroom risotto, fantastic. Will absolutely be back"

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood. The almond crusted Mahi Mahi was absolutely superb. No joke, it's been since living in Charleston that I've had a fish fillet that left me craving each next bite. It was fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect texture inside/out (perfectly cooked). The almonds added a pleasant crisp to the outside of the fillet that set it apart. The sauce was incredible, and the avocado/tomato combo was a pleasant compliment to the dish. The service was excellent. The ambiance is upscale, white tablecloth, but is certainly a little dated. I would definitely return for another meal. It's the ideal location for a business dinner.

Love this place! Homie country family style seating. Friendly weight service and very casual atmosphere. And the food is quick and extremely satisfying. My New York strip was fantastic. All the sides also very good.

First time here. Blackbeards had a long wait. Ordered mahi fresh fish of the day with green beans, brocolli and added 4 shrimp grilled. Mahi was dry and seemed overcooked. Needed tartar which seemed homemade. Green beans canned and fatty bacon was added. Brocolli was steamed but still crunchy. Shrimp were good. Super cold inside even with jackets on. A guy was singing, which was cool. Place seemed more like a bar. (34)

Came here again recently since we were in the area. It is SO easy to overeat. And everything is so delish. Definitely easy for vegetarians to get their fill. My stomach felt like it wanted to rip open when I was done. The waitresses are very kind. Adequate seating. Very unsuspecting from the outside, but super cute on the inside. Love visiting whenever I'm nearby :)

Firstly, the hotel is beautiful set on the bay with an uninstructed view.. the restaurant view was spectacular at night under a full moon like a movie set with the moonlight dancing on the water. The waitstaff was very friendly and very eager to bring us what we needed. Started with an excellent bottle of wine and some of the best oysters (Oysters Republic :Six Oysters Topped with Shiitake Mushrooms Capers, Spinach, Brandy Cream Reduction) deliciously prepared and plated beautifully. I had the Texas Bob White Quail (Roasted Garlic and Rosemary Pan Sauce ) deliciously buttery but not over cooked - quite moist and flavorful. For desert we had the salted caramel chocolate cake. Flavorful and decadent with a cup of coffee. It was a gorgeous evening and we enjoyed the meal and the restaurant experience.

Went here for restaurant week and the food was delicious. I had the Korean Pork Belly as the first course and the blend of flavors was outstanding. The pork belly blended perfect with the chive white rice and the cucumber salad giving it different flavors on the palette. My wife ordered the Truffle Burrata Salad that was also great. As the main course we both had the filet mignon that was cooked to perfection. Very tender and flavorful. It was delicious! And the cheddar mashed potatoes were a great compliment. The cognac pepper sauce was also very good but honestly the filet didn't need it, it was great by itself. For the third course (dessert) I had the tiramisu with a bourbon chocolate sauce and my wife had the NY style cheesecake with the apple pie compote. Both were very good but I did prefer the tiramisu. It paired really well with the espresso old fashioned that I ordered with it. They had a decent drink selection with some good options and a decent wine selection. I recommend the banana nut bread drink if you like vodka and the espresso old fashioned was by far the best drink I had there. It was a good option for restaurant week and they nailed it with the menu and options and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back again when it's not restaurant week. You have until Feb. 1 so only a couple of days left, go check this place out for restaurant week if you haven't already!

The ambience was spot on, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Our first time dining at Niko's but it definitely will not be our last. Glad to have another nice restaurant in Corpus to share with our out of town family and friends. ~Drs. Greg & Rita Sawyer

"Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place before, it's our go-to when we are in Lake Jackson. Large selection of beers with frequent rotations, always something good! There are a lot of taps on the wall, but I don't think there are quite that many beers available. No matter, we always find something we like. Salads are large, fresh and have a nice variety of fixings. The wings are amazing, burgers are big and juicy and the flat breads are awesome. Have heard great things about the steaks and German foods, as well. We are kind of creatures of habit and stick to our basic selections. The waitstaff and bartenders are awesome, friendly and take great care of the guests. Our favorite place in town."
"We came on a weeknight for an early birthday dinner. TR was able to accommodate our party of 7 with an additional high chair for my baby nephew. I liked the booth seating here for a more private experience. Shoutout goes to our waiter, Erick, who provided such great customer service to our table. He checked up on us often and refilled our bread and drinks. He also communicated with us when our entrees would be arriving. He did this all with enthusiasm and a smile. So, my family and I definitely appreciated this. Thank you, Erick! As for our food, they were all good. I think the only outlier was the bbq chicken my SIL ordered. The chicken itself was dry and the sauce too sweet. Otherwise, here's a breakdown of the other items on their menu: Complimentary bread (5/5): I love these dinner rolls. Just their glistening appearance when they arrived to our table was beautiful. The rolls were soft and delicious. They were sooo good with their cinnamon whipped butter. I had to eat two of them, at least. Well, I didn't have to, but I wanted to. Lol. Frozen margarita (4/5): I forgot to take a picture. But, I really enjoyed my margarita drink. It had an ample amount of salt on the rim and the cup was huge. This is not different from other margaritas I've had. But, it was delicious and gave me just the right amount of buzz. Safe to say, I drank all of it. Lol. Blooming cactus (4/5): Everyone enjoyed this appetizer. We thought the onion was cooked well and the batter not too heavy. It was a bit salty, though. But, it was still good. My lil bro said this was better than the blooming onion at Outback Steakhouse.Chili (4/5): I really enjoyed this chili with onions and cheese. I think it tasted bean-less, which I preferred. This reminded me a lot of the Zippy's chili in Hawaii from my childhood. I would recommend this as one of the sides that come with the steak entree.Loaded baked potato (4/5): Yummy. Normally, I don't really like sour cream. But, in this potato, it was yummy mixed in with the cheese and bacon. This was definitely worth the additional charge as a side that came along with my steak. FYI - You get two sides with the steak entree. Forth Worth Ribeye (14 oz) (4/5): I've had this steak before at another TR and loved it. So, of course I'd order it again. My family all ordered the same steak too. Lol. It was cooked to medium rare and had that beautiful charbroiled flavor. I did add sautéed mushrooms and onions to my steak this time around, which was delicious. But, I found it did make my steak a bit saltier than I'd like. Next time, I think I'll just order my steak sans the mushrooms/onions. Overall, my family and I had a great food and customer service experience at this TR location. We will be back. Come check them out as well."
"Well when in TX its OK to go to the Texas Roadhouse as it is one of my favorite restaurants!! I was on a girls trip in San Antonio with 3 of my Travcon friends & Ashley had a friend who we had plans to meet up here & have dinner with her. First, I must say our waitress was the BOMB!! Haley was her name & she was AWESOME & fun!! Super friendly with a great personality. She definitely loves working here & enjoys her job. We came in on 05/20/2024 around 8pm. I usually get the filet when I'm @ a Texas Roadhouse but went with the chicken critter dinner instead. It was very tasty. The chicken was nice & moist and not dried out which can happen @ restaurants. I got a loaded baked potato (a favorite) along with a soda water & tito's and vodka. The service was on point & the food was tasty. We all enjoyed our time here & had fun!!Thank you Haley for your outstanding service. Keep up the great work!!"
"Ordered the chopped steak with a salad for $12.99 as a lunch special. The staff seemed not very friendly or happy to be at work. The salad bar was pushed against a wall making it hard to reach items at the back. The salad bar had a good variety and I like that they had pineapple as an option.Cool rustic cowboy decor inside.Metal utensils, ceramic plates and paper napkins.Chopped steak had brown gravy and grilled onions and mushrooms on too and was quite good. Portion size was good.I would come back again"
"We've come here several times and tried different menu items and each was delicious. I enjoyed that the music being played in the background was "catchy", made you want to move. It wasn't "elevator" music.10% md"
"Kyveka was our very attentive server, great service and our steaks were made to perfection. The 40minute wait for our party of 7 and a baby. It was totally hoping tonight but everything was on point."
"For chain steakhouses, it does not get any better than Longhorn. Especially considering what you get for what you pay. Compared to other higher tier chain steakhouses, Longhorn is quite affordable. And I will also say their consistently quality steaks with perfect grill marks, crusts and season make them standout. They also all have great decor, atmosphere and high levels of service. You can tell there is a good corporate touch in the way they set the culture in how each location is ran. Great choice if you are in or around the La Palmera mall."
"The catfish with shrimp was delicious and the service was excellent. The dish came with rice and vegetables that were also very tasty. We had our mini schnauzer with us and they let it in. We sat inside because it was really hot out but there's outdoor seating as well. It seems to be a pretty well known local restaurant a little off the beaten path."
"Totally a hidden gem at this place. If your craving great home cooking then this is the place. They have daily specials and I highly recommend them. Also they got pork rinds so make sure you grab a big ass bag of them. The people here are adorable, I fell hard for this place and looking forward to going back real soon. Oh and the sweet tea is on point."
"Fishman's platter 5/5 Great dish. Everything was fresh and great tasting. So good!Okra 3/5 seemed frozen, but hot and freshly friedMashed potatoes 4/5 needed more seasoning, but freshly made. I thought it came with gravy and when I mentioned it to the waitress she brought me gravy and charged me for it. it wasn't that good.Fried mushrooms 5/5 freshly battered and fried, not greasy, seasoned wellHushpuppies 0/5 I did not like them. They were fresh and homemade, but they were weird tasting.Service 2/5 Sooooooo slowwwwwwww. Charged for gravy that should have come with my potatoes"
"Love this place. It's a hidden gem! Great food options. I'm a pescatarian and this is the only restaurants in the area that had lobster, scallop and shrimp on their menu. Really funny and engaging staff. I always come here every time I come to visit my hometown. Special memories made here. Hope they keep up the place because having a great staff is key."
"We decided to try this place out because we tired of Subway for lunch.Once we entered the restaurant we greeted by our hostess who did an excellent job with service. The interior was nice to see their setup. As for the food it was amazing the dishes we ordered were perect.I had ordered the fried superman which was deep with spicy crabmeat, shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, and eel sauce.I was blown away by the size of my order very massive. I highly recommend this recommend this restaurant if ever in Bay City."
"This is about the best you will get while in "Rio", every and I mean every restaurant especially the chain restaurants are horrible. How can you mess up at Pizza Hut! Anyhoo, Casa was great, everyone in my party ordered steak. Not too bad for a Mexican restaurant. It was well cooked sides were accompanying and flavorful and most of all the service made you feel welcomed and not rushed. Our waitress was engaging and made sure we were filled on drinks and asked if we needed anything. Presentation a little off but for the area great turn out and taste buds satisfied. Great food and service in a small town."
"My Mother wanted to come here for lunch so what Momma wants Momma gets. This is not an impressive place from the outside. The inside is much different than what I expected. It gives off a weird vibe. It seems to be trying to be an upscale steak house with a sports bar that dominates the interior. It is pretty clean. They run a perennial lunch special. From chopped sirloin to Fried Fish. We opted for the chopped sirloin that is described as a 1/2 pound. Sorry but their scale if off. It most likely is a 1/3 pound before cooking and very thin. We all asked for medium cooked. One was, the rest were well done. The medium was traded to me by the wife as it was just too pink for here. I got fries with mine, steak fries. Not so good, very dry and tasteless. Looks like they left them too long in the air fryer they certainly didn't use any oil to fry them. The small salad was ok. The ladies got a baked potato but were going to be charged an extra 2.95 to have it loaded, they both passed. The service was passable. I can't see how I could return unless Mom insists.FYI these are the same people that ran the previous steak house at this location just using a new name."
"Recommended by a friend. I enjoyed the 8 oz. flat iron sirloin. Cooked to order with a side bake potato and corn. Some cheddar biscuits were brought out first but I thought they were a bit dry. Service was good but there is a small wait for your order to be cooked To your taste. My waitress checked on me several times even though the place was filling up for dinner. I would return next time I am in the area."
"If I'm wrong, I don't want to be right. But Nolan's has one of the tastiest cheesesteak sandwiches around. No frills, meat to cheese to peppers ratio on point, soft buttery roll. I know it's not exactly what they're know for but it's my favorite thing on the menu."
"What an awesome food truck. I was not expecting everything to be so damn good!!I got the top sirloin because the ribeye was sold out. *sad face* But the sirloin was cooked to perfection. It was so thick, juicy and flavorful. The garlic cream corn - I was not expecting it to be soooo good! It was such a perfect side for the steak. The mash potatoes were good too but nothing compared to that corn! If your on the fence about this one, don't be! It's great and the employees are so nice and helpful. Really enjoyed Steak Spot!IG @ohcayeats"
"So impressed by this place!! The food was so delicious and wholesome! And not to mention, they are NOT stingy with their portions!"
"The lunch special grilled flounder and shrimp with grilled veggies was Devine and the waitress was supper nice."
"Hmmm. Waited a while for them to cook our food. The fried rice and veggies were good. They served it with ginger sauce and then we asked for the teriyaki sauce. Both sauces were very good. There was 4 of us. We ordered (2) scallops, scallops and shrimp, and chicken. Scallops were fishy tasting, chicken was average and the shrimp was pretty good. The venting system doesn't work very well. I think I got a fried rice smoke facial. Don't think we will come back here."
"This is by far the best restaurant in Laredo. It is very upscale. It is small and you may need to get there early. The food is always delicious. I especially recommend the steaks and shrimp appetizer. The service is first class. I have taken clients there many times. The downstairs bar is very unique and inviting as well."
"Honestly the barback / intern Bartender had more personality than the patio bartender. Needs some honing on what's an ale vs ipa."
