"First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff as a whole really seem to enjoy their work and treat customers with respect. The chips were crispy, salty and addictive. The cocktail was made with freshly squeezed juice and perfectly refreshing on a hot south Texas day. The salad was well balanced and delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and served with an incredible mushroom sauce. Substituted the onion rings for potatoes that were rich and seasoned perfectly. The NY strip was a little fatty and tough on one end but the other end was on point. Great experience!"
"The salsas and sauces are original and delicious! Huge portion (enough for two more meals.) Nice environment with friendly servers."
"Food was very good, highly recommend the ahi tuna for an app. Drinks were great, ordered an old fashioned, very well done. Got the two 4 oz filets over mushroom risotto, fantastic. Will absolutely be back"
"Having eaten at the location in Laredo a few times, I was eager to eat at this spot during May 2024. This establishment is located inside the Las Palmas shopping mall. We sat at the bar and had some excellent service. We started with their chips, salsas, and dip. The standard setup is some smoky red salsa along with a bean dip - the beans have somewhat of a chorizo flavor to them and are absolutely delicious. I recommend asking for their avocado salsa to have, as well. That magic green sauce, though. I had my usual order of Enchiladas Callejeras, which were amazing as always. They enchiladas are stuffed well with Mexican cheese, and heavily topped with the same. It gets a little loud in here as the place fills up with mall shoppers and kids, but it still would be nice enough for a date night. It is a bit more elegant inside than most mall restaurants. Definitely it is a great place to check out when in the area."
"The service was great, but it couldn't as great as the food. My burger was the bomb when it's well done."
"We decided to come in for a late dinner our last evening in town. We said we weren't hungry but then the menu changed our minds! On a Thursday night this place was playing club music and it was definitely an interesting playlist for a casual seafood dinner spot. That said the food was very good and the starter soup that came in the Mason jar was delicious! The shrimp salad I ordered was generous in size and exactly what I needed for a late night dinner. We ended up eating way more than we should have, but it was all very good. Next time I'd like to come for lunch and see what the atmosphere is like in the light of day."
"Never disappoints whether in Laredo or the valley.Love the ribeye tacos... simply the best and paired with great service makes PG a must stop for me and clients."
"After a year away we were back in town and had to make reservation! Upon arriving we were met by Nikki, our star host and waitperson from our last visit. Despite a full house and waiting tables she never showed the stress that exists at such a busy time. She was at our table when we needed her, advising about the menu changes, and even having time to update us on her culinary school classes. "Ask and ye shall receive", is the motto at Bellino's. . My linguini pescatore was perfect with the linguine al dente! My wife asked for and the chef prepared a pasta dish with garlic and pepper. Since our last visit they have opened Mamma Lina next door. Because of a large party the night we went we were unable to be seated over there; however, you can chose from either the traditional or the Italian Comfort food on the Mama Lina menus. We ordered the Arancinette as an appetizer and our son ordered the Pollo al Gorgonzola from the Mama Lina menu. Spectacular flavors and perfectly prepared. It was a tossup as to our favor dessert. The chocolate mousse was amazing light and airy and the tiramisu remains to have a balance of flavors. And of course Nikki surprised us with an Expresso Martini (see my prior review of 7/5/23). I loved the new twist replacing the traditional vodka with bourbon! Francesco, great job keeping us impressed with the food, the service, and the overall ambiance of Bellino's ."
"For a hole in the wall spot in the neighborhood this place is great .. well made top shelf type drinks and unique dishes"

Fantastic restaurant! Service was excellent and the food was even better. Did not have a reservation, but was seated at the bar immediately. I was offered a spot a the Chef's Table, but the regular bar was fine with me. My Knob Creek Rye Manhattan was perfectly made. Really enjoyed the Corn and Poblano Soup as a starter and the Scallops main course. Will definitely return to Salt!

We did a team dinner here during my Week 1 Laredo work trip. A couple people from our assignment mentioned this place and it's near the Holiday Inn hotel where some team personnel were staying. So of course it made sense to book here and hit this spot up.Having been to the Palenque Grill in McAllen in early 2020, I was impressed with their menu as they have a lot of tex-mex options but also different dishes that anyone can enjoy. And it was the same at this location. Our difficulty was trying to decide what to order but we had plenty of time to decide since we had a few team members who were arriving later than expected. So as we waited, we ordered drinks and munched on the complimentary chips, salsa, and beans that were served. As for drinks, they've got your typical beers (domestic and central american types) you would see at any tex-mex place. Also a nice selection of tequilas and cocktails. I decided on wine. Upon ordering a glass of zinfendel, they served me the white zinfendel; the one with the pinkish tint. I should've clarified with them I wanted red but nonetheless I drank it since I hate sending back alcohol. I decided on the Robert Mondavi cabernet as my next glass; much better. Finally everyone arrived and we ordered. I decided on the Tilapia Rellena which is the fish stuffed with cheese and shrimp. It was filling, tasty, and had that nice poblano cream sauce which gave it a nice touch. Paired with mexican rice and veggies, it was a satisfying meal. The person on my right ordered the tacos de asada which looked and smelled awesome while the one on my left got the fajitas de pollo which smelled great as well (although looked a bit plain) but she's that kind of person I guess. Our server was attentive and gave some recommendations and explanations on what we wanted to order. I never ask questions since the menu description is enough for me. Yet some people ask things that are simply in the menu. Like did you read the menu? Of course these were the same people who arrived late so that tells you all you need to know.Overall, a solid dinner and a pleasant team bonding experience.

We tried to get reservations at the Tack Room but they didn't reach back out to us. Panicking, I did some further research and found this place being right next to our work station. Some co-workers heard great things about this spot so I stopped in here and attempted to make a reservation for 7 of us. Fortunately they were able to fit us in here on a Thursday night for a work-group dinner.First, the interior of the restaurant is clean, bright, and inviting. The bar area looks festive with the displays of liquor and wine options. Tables can be easily assembled to accommodate larger parties. And it's a semi-open kitchen where you can see the dishes being presented for serving. It does it get loud depending on the crowd. Upon seating, we realized there was another work-party dinner AND a graduation dinner happening around us so servers were running around left and right for us all.Speaking of service, they are attentive and they did the best they could with the large parties. We got our drinks in a timely manner for the most part. There was some communication issues as a few people ordered beers but got iced tea instead; weird. We mentioned beer again but used the term 'cerveza' which they responded promptly to. So maybe that's the secret word when ordering beer here. Since they have a large wine selection, I started with a glass of Picket Fence Pinot Noir before switching to the Ferrari Sauvignon Blanc. Both excellent choices! Now for food, they have an extensive menu of appetizers, burgers/sands, pizza, and 18 different entree items. I went with the pork chop w/ the gnocchi and pecan pesto. Several others ordered the smoked cornish hen. We also had another order the herb crusted salmon w/ risotto and yogurt sauce. A couple others did the Gulf Shrimp Carbonara and Chicken alfredo. We all enjoyed our dishes; the pork chop was quite tender and the gnocchi w/ pesto had nice flavor and complimented the protein. The cornish hen was tasty although a bit dry according to those who ordered it although they loved the au gratin potatoes that were served with it. The salmon and pasta dishes were enjoyed by the recipients who finished them clean.Overall, we had a solid meal here and will likely return for another team dinner should we be in Laredo. Props to the staff for accommodating us last minute!

The food was good except the Fajita meat was tough and hard to cut and eat. Costa Messa has the best Fajitas. Our server, Baruch, was excellent. The hostess could have done better. At first we were offered a table by the kitchen door, it was 3 pm and the place was empty, so I pointed to another table and we sat there. Prices were about the same as other places. Didn't see any specials though. I'll go back but I won't be in a rush.

Great food and service. Friendly staff patiently assists with the menu if you feel overwhelmed. I like their starter complimentary dish and its presentation. They serve mashed black beans with a variety of salsas and toppings as well as a side of deliciously crunchy tostadas. I have had ordered the La Costa Tower as an appetizer. Not only is it delicious but plentiful that it can easily feed two. All the other dishes on the menu are also delicious. You can't go wrong with your choice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. During the weekend evenings, they have live music.

Food and service were excellent. There were so many staff attentive to my needs! Chips and dips were so good but the mango Chamoy margaritas was phenomenal! Definitely get that!

"The chips were great, and I drank my sprite and it was the best. The service was nice with my family. My steak was to die for, including the fries. My family had a great time too."
"Service is 10/10. Best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The chilaquiles are so flavorful. The tacos are amazing. And you can't skip out on the cafe de olle. The papa tacos with chicharon and salsa verde is outstanding! Ide go here everyday if I could."
"I'm so glad this place is able to open and operate despite our current situation! This is a quaint and favorite go to spot for a craft cocktail. I am a fan of St. Germain and Prosecco cocktails so the bartender made me a delicious drink to my liking. This place is aesthetically pleasing and the view of the downtown skyline is nice. As far as food goes, they serve small dishes of charcuterie like items. I've gotten the chicken salad twice and it is very tasteful. They are pre packaged and refrigerated. This makes the crackers soggy, but I still enjoyed it. Another plus: an outdoor container bar was added, a separate bathroom for men; and no more loose gravel!! They have turf now so feel free to wear you're favorite heeled shoe hehe"
"We attended a send off for bride and groom! This place was nice to chill. We otdered Casa Azup shots. The food was ok."
"First night in Corpus Christi and the food and service was outstanding. I personally loved that this restaurant was not serving Tex-Mex. The website describes the cuisine as, 100% Mexican with the flavors of the North Pacific Coast of Mexico that includes Sinaloa, Sonora, North and South Baja California. The salsa had a nice flavor and little spice and the chips were crispy and tasty. The serving is very large, enough for leftovers or to share with someone. I absolutely enjoyed my shrimp tacos nicknamed for the former Governor of California AKA Terminator. Packed full of flavor!! Don't forget to treat yourself to a margarita, the mango on the rocks for delicious Also, Stephanie provided excellent service and was very helpful. Definitely worth a visit again."
"Dear senior potro, God has blessed you with the ability to take ingredients and turn them into Mexican food from the heavens. Your wonderful waitress allowed me to create my own burrito. I was craving a California style burrito. (I know I'm in Texas) You, senior potro, nailed it. From the perfectly cooked meet, to the elegant salsa you have touched my heart. We shall see you soon."
"We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday around 6 PM, finding it moderately busy. Parking was available in front of the building and also off to the left toward the back of the property. The restaurant featured both indoor seating and an outdoor area, perfect for families with children and dog-friendly.Opting for the outdoor seating due to our dogs, we approached the window to order food, where the menu of available drinks was conveniently displayed. Additionally, menus were available, but we also checked their website for more options.Starting with drinks, I chose the campfire old fashioned, infused with bourbon, toasted marshmallow syrup, and a dash of chocolate bitters, while my wife opted for the sparkling mule, containing vodka, ginger beer, lime, strawberry, and a splash of champagne. The old fashion was pleasantly strong with a hint of sweetness reminiscent of s'mores, while the sparkling mule had well-balanced flavors that complemented each other.Moving on to food, we ordered chips and queso with chorizo, wings in buffalo sauce, a cheeseburger, and a bacon blue cheeseburger. The addition of chorizo elevated the queso, although we wished for fresher tortilla chips. The wings were lightly breaded and perfectly sauced with a subtle garlic flavor. The double meat patties in both burgers provided a backyard barbecue grilled flavor. My wife enjoyed her cheeseburger with fresh toppings while I savored the caramelized onions and prominent blue cheese crumbles in my bacon blue cheeseburger. Both burgers came with fries and ketchup on the side.Overall, the restaurant had a great vibe, providing a chill atmosphere suitable for families and pets. Despite the moderate crowd, we felt comfortable and welcomed by the friendly staff and patrons. We look forward to returning to try more of their offerings at this neighborhood gem near Talley Rd and 1604."
"Not a great experience. The service was slow. We arrived around 6 30 pm the restaurant started filling up. We were a table of six planning to enjoy a good meal with friends. We started noticing that people was not taking our orders. We had to ask someone to come and take our orders to take our meal orders, we noticed that the people that arrived after us were being served meals before our arrived. To my opinion, the food needed a lot more flavoring."
"Great little place to grab a drink, tacos, and "beer food." They have specialty items like duck and fig quesadillas, boudin tacos, and escargot, but also the regular stuff like bistec, pork, chicken, and brisket. They also offer a good variety of beer ($4-5) and mixed drinks ($7-8), as well as dessert such as fresh made churros (with caramel dip) and the "chaco taco," a fried chocolate taco shell with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The churros were pretty descent fresh, but the chaco taco was just ok (more for the novelty). The food is descent (portions are a bit small), and drinks are pretty good. If you're in the area and looking for a place open a little later than other places around town, this is a cool, casual, divey place to go."
"Great service , amazing food. Aguachilles were my favorite. Would recommend and definitely will be back."
"Visited Mula Cantina with my friend today. The waiter was super nice! He just moved here to the valley from my hometown L.A food was amazing and cocktails were top I will definitely be visiting soon."
"After pretty much eating Mexican food every meal while traveling in Laredo, my associates and I were looking for a change and wanted some seafood. Welp, thanks to yelpers out there we stumbled on this place. This place is decent. The menu is a little eclectic... Mexican, Italian, American? So i get a little weary when there are too many selections on the menu. So since our group was going for seafood, that's what most of us had and the food was just ok. Not bad, not spectacular, and not too memorable, but just ok. The ceviche didn't have enough acid in it. It was made from fake crab and frozen shrimp. After i mixed some hot sauce and squeezed half a lime into it... it tasted better. The tostada ceviche was also very dry and needed the lime and hot sauce as well. We are pretty close to Mexico and we were hoping for some authentic Mexican-style ceviche and were sorely disappointed :( Hopefully it was just because we were there on an off night?Someone had the mahi and they liked it, along with the teriyaki chicken. I also had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was good, but also seemed like it was defrosted . The drink specials are pretty good. All in all decent. But not amazing... sorry"
"All you can eat Lunch! We tried the Hawaii roll, Mango Delight roll, Bamboo roll (favorite), Rainbow roll, some hand rolls and the Sushi Pizza. Also had some DRANKS! The Mango Sake Rita was yummy and strong! The Moonstone Plum sake was waaay too smooth going down lol. We will be back and bring our friends!"
"The restaurant is very clean and well designed . I had to wait a bit for my food , but it was extremely good . I finally got my Baja taco fix, I will deff be back for more !"
"Went at 930 pm since they were open and we were looking for some later night local noms. The food was good, the server was attentive and great. I just didn't expect it to be so loud, lol. When I saw bar and grill I figured it would be more like, a bar and grill. The music was loud and pounding more like a club, which is fine! I just didn't expect it... I didn't expect the fog/smoke machines either.I would still definitely return again to the place. It's fun! The menu has more things i'd like to try. It's nice to have places like this in Weslaco."
"Such a great spot! Whether it's your first time or 100th, it feels like a homecoming The bartenders are super sweet & LAWD the food"
