"If you have not had lunch at Babin's, it's definitely worth a look.My wife had the $12 blackened chicken and loved it. I had the crawfish half and half, which was offered as a special with red snapper bites instead of fried crawfish tails. The crawfish étouffée was delicious, and the fried snapper bites were excellent. Add a side of dirty rice, and this was a very enjoyable meal.Landry's has a rewards club called "Landry's Select". We signed up for it a week prior at Saltgrass. Basically, we paid $25 to get setup, then received $50 in credits to use right away. So we cashed-in one of the rewards with our meal. If you like the Landry's restaurants, ask your server to get setup. All in all, for lunch we spent about $15 per person for a quality meal (drinks brought it closer to $20 per person). Not bad at all!"

"Food was great and love the choices they have on the menu. Staff was very friendly and nice. The place was spaced well and has outdoor seating. Tables and area was pretty clean. Prices for crawfish was reasonable. I would definitely recommend to family and friends."
"Saw a sign on the highway so I looked this up on Yelp. After seeing the good reviews, we decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant is a short drive from the highway. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plus they have ducks that the kids can feed for 50 cents. Near the duck area there are settings to swing on.The menu has a good amount of variety for both fish lovers and fish haters. We started off with an order of hush puppies. They were very good with a little bit of heat. The kid and I liked them, hubs not so much. He prefers them to be sweet. For lunch I got a salad with blackened tuna on top. You could also get it with chicken or mahi. It was a good salad with a big piece of tuna. The tuna was great! The only thing I would do different is put it in a big bowl. The plate it was served on was too small which made it difficult to eat without losing some of the food off the plate.Hubs got the fish and chips which I tasted and it was very good. The kid got chicken fingers which looked really good. This is a good place to stop for food. I'd definitely recommend it and would eat here again."
"The food, the service, and the bar with multiple tv's made this place a bucket list restaurant. Best Cajun seafood I have ever had. The oysters were amazing. I can't wait to return with my family and friends. Kristyn was an amazing server and recommended the lunch shrimp boil and Oyster Rockefeller. Both were just amazing. Five stars!!"
"How many different ways can I eat boudin...? Today, 3! HUGE boudin egg rolls, Boudin Burger with crawfish potato salad, and their newest item not even on the menu yet... Stuffed Boudin Wings all washed down with brown sugar lemonade and finished with some homemade bread pudding. We even got gumbo to-go for dinner. Y'all... run here fast! Owner was super nice and said they are opening a BBQ Smokehouse next door. Can't wait!"
"Food was delicious. Both parties had fried shrimp - one lunch portion (6) one dinner(8) - .50 difference in price. The batter was very lite and crunchy. The baskets were delivered to the table piping hot with crisp tasty lightly seasoned fries. The tea tasted home brewed ad fresh. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere is quaint and like eating in a cool seafood bistro. Loved the experience and the food."
"Small little joint with big taste!!! Had the Buffalo shrimp and the large shrimp tray and let me tell you, it was so much we took almost half of it home!! It was amazing. Must try if you're in seguin!"

Circling back to add that the Bourbon Street pasta and the red beans and rice is so good! Definitely a 5/5. They seafood is fresh the sauce is amazing. Cesar salad was better than what I had previously, definitely 5/5. Also, I feel like they did something special to the lemonade this time it tasted like they made it in the house. It was so good! This is easily becoming one of my favorite restaurants.

Food was well seasoned and not a lot of dead mudbugs in our boil. Service was good and the wait was nonexistent. The servers played a game called "where's Jazz"??? This was fun considering we didn't know who Jazz was or what she looked like, but we hope she was found. This was a fun place for mudbugs and we would definitely come back

This a nice spot off 59 by El Campo. We didn't eat much just fried pickles coleslaw and the hurricane drink (so good). My daughter had the gumbo and she is a picky eater. She said it was good. I don't eat gumbo outside of Louisiana or prepared by Louisianan's for fear of being disappointed, lol. We were a little annoyed with the flies but we will def return!

Bubba's is worth the drive from anywhere to Seadrift! Seriously the food is unreal! They remodeled just recently and did a great job with the place. Bubba's is definitely a place where I will take friends and family when they come to visit. Their shrimp is some of the best in Calhoun county!

Super full.Ordered so much food it was super great! No complaints at all about this place. If I had to maybe it was a super long wait and it was packed BUT what place isn't on a Saturday night right!? And the restrooms could've been more cleaner. The serve was fantastic! The food was lovely. The price was worth it. The restaurant itself had the games going on and it was a bit loud but good enough to still hear the conversations I would recommend this place and definitely come back!

We love the food at Texas Crab Co! We have almost tried everything on the menu and would recommend it all! They have a sit down restaurant we have been too many times, kid friendly, home like feeling, and they also have food trucks that come into our area and never miss the opportunity to have it for dinner.Everyone is always super nice and the food is always fresh and cooked just right!

"Fun outdoor games. And the most excellent food! We had great service and the food was delicious!"
"Limited menu, but food was fresh, hot and plentiful. I ate half the basket before taking the picture, but it was fried to perfection. Husband had Combination Fried Rice, and there was a lot of it! Shrimp, Chicken and Chinese BBQ Pork were tasty, and ione order was enough for 2 meals."
"I love love love this place, everything we ordered was made with love and we can tell! The owner is amazing! Do not sleep on the grits they are the best I've had!! The shrimp was made to perfection not over cooked and the boudin balls were scrumptious and ever so tender my son fell in love with the wings and catfish paired with the red sauce. My husband was addicted to the catfish with dirty rice. And man that po boy was so soft and flaky #hurrybacknow"
"This place is Laredo's best Pho. I've noticed a lot of reviews complain about the serving size, but I felt the servings are decent for the price you are paying. I do feel border town plates tend to be on the bigger side and people get used to that. The spring rolls were pretty good, basic standard spring rolls of really good size. The peanut size was a little watery, but tasted fine. The Jasmin tea was pretty standard. The pho was solid. Good clean broth with good noodle texture and a decent amount of protein. The noodle dish was super good, with a great garlic taste. The fried rice was decent as well. Don't expect anything super fancy or out of this world. Service is fast and friendly. Giving this place a 4, simply because it's the best in Laredo."
"The shrimp were huge 2 biters that were tender and sweet. Omg the fried rice was like nothing I've ever had before! It was all fantastic. I went during happy hour when you get two entrees for $25 making the price very reasonable. Definitely coming back."
"The food was really good. It takes 15-20 minutes for your order to get ready because they cook it fresh, so be ready for that (it's in a mall food court so might not be expected)."
"Such a great spot! Whether it's your first time or 100th, it feels like a homecoming The bartenders are super sweet & LAWD the food"
"Above all, a complete disappointment. This place gets a lot of business from the workers at the plant and their menu is posted on a lot of walls around town but the food just isn't very good and the service is pretty much awful. If you're from Louisiana and are looking for authentic food, steer clear of this place. Nearly everything on the menu is fried and the grease needs changing. You can tell they're not really from Louisiana by the seasoning. Bland bland bland. Standard fish fry seasoning and nothing more. The hours are inconsistent and the place isn't very clean. Service is standard Freeport, which is to say awful. Food takes a long time to make and the owner, when she's there, is very defensive if you complain. If she's not there, good luck because there's no one in charge and no one who can resolve anything. The staff are clueless."
"The atmosphere was fun. Our server was pretty good for how busy they were. I ordered the catfish dinner and hubby ordered the plate that had a little of everything. For the most part, the food was good. The catfish was good, but a little bland. You couldn't eat the fries that came with it unless you like drinking grease, but overall I think the fish made up for it. The Hubs said his was good the étouffée was really great, but the gumbo was not. You would think a place with gumbo in the name would be better. Overall, I would eat here again and enjoy it. You can't have things perfect every single time."
"This old post office definitely knows how to deliver. We started with the happy-hour sized seafood fondoo (creamy, cheesy, full of seafood, and heavenly, served with garlic toast), spicy catfish bites (so tender and delish) and calamari (review on that was also good, I was too busy with the fondoo). I had the sea bass entree and it was wonderful. The chocolate chip bread pudding was warm and sinful, so I only had a few bites.. but I will definitely get it every time I go back. All of the service was great. The manager even came to the table to discuss an allergy issue which was impressive. It's a beautiful restaurant! Definitely worth the ride from San Antonio."
